I get breakfast every day at this location and I really appreciate how efficient and friendly Tiffany is! You can always tell when she is working the window by how quickly the line moves!
I doordashed a dozen tacos and a large soda. the drink was called " bucket soda". It was a large drink alright! because it came in a literal BUCKET! The food is great here and they literally tell you exactly what you're getting. I got a dozen tacos and a BUCKET of soda. Not a bad thing. delicious tacos and a good laugh. Just wish they gave me a straw for my bucket. haha
JUST PLAIN AND SIMPLE BBQ DONE RIGHT. Bill Miller never disappoints. Remember 30 years ago when BBQ was regular food...no hype...no celebrity pit masters...no ridiculously high prices. Remember getting brisket with a nice bark and smoke ring...remember pork ribs were bite perfect...remember sausage that had fat and texture. Well that's what you get at Bill Miller BBQ at any one of their locations. Find the nearest one to you, pack up the family and get ready to step back 30 years and enjoy.
Stopped by for lunch today. I got the #8 combo (Rancher Plate) with sweet tea. The sausage was really tasty! The chicken could’ve been seasoned a little better but it was still really good. My wife got the brisket and she liked it very much. My wife also liked the bread at the condiment bar. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. It was a great visit and we look forward to coming back.
If you haven’t tried Bill Miller’s brisket tacos, you’re missing out on pure happiness wrapped in a tortilla. The brisket is juicy, smoky, and so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Every single bite hits with that perfect Texas flavor. The bacon and potato tacos are another level... crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. Just perfection. The restaurant smells amazing, the service is quick, and the vibe is relaxed. But fair warning: don’t order the small drink unless you’re really just thirsty for a sip. “Small” here means tiny, blink and it’s gone. All in all, Bill Miller BBQ never disappoints. Juicy brisket, amazing tacos, and pure Texas goodness.
Good location, tacos are great- egg & sausage, egg and bacon and bean cheese. Inside was mostly clean and staff was friendly. Bill Millers doesn't disappoint for breakfast.
What a pleasant surprise discovering this restaurant chain when I moved to Texas several years ago. I get the impression they resisted raising their prices as long as possible after covid, as opposed to so many other chains. Good food. Generally good service, though a couple times have gotten a cashier that seemed like they had other priorities. Clean.
This is a very nice and a very small breakfast area. I live out of state and I definitely don't have anything like this in Florida and I wish I did. This was a very inexpensive breakfast place that has some amazing tacos. Would definitely recommend their breakfast tacos. Also their sweet tea was soooo good.
It’s a pretty standard Texas Chain restaurant. I will say that I do enjoy their breakfast tacos on occasion (preferably the carne guisada). I have tried their smoked brisket and it’s just mid but for a quick bite, it’s not too shabby.
Update to previous review: Was contacted by the location and got a very sincere apology as well as a suitable response to the issue. Owner responded very respectfully and professionally. Thank you so much. Was passing through Cedar Park yesterday coming from an out of town appointment, we ordered pies and tea for Thanksgiving as well so we also stopped so we could pick those items up….the restaurant is clean and for the most part had some organization for the holiday item pick up, a bit cramped but it worked. This wasn’t the issue though, and I really want to give more stars but, I decided to get dinner while we’re there. Staff was super welcoming and Nathasa took our order, super nice and professional. Another girl brought our order out and handed me a giant bag, we waited for about 20 minutes for our order, she assured me everything was in the bag however, I drove an hour to my husbands fire station to take him food and once we unpacked the bag, our 3 piece chicken meal only had 2 pieces of chicken, and one of our kids meals was completely missing, my husbands po boy was so dry that he could barely eat it. I’ve never had this experience from a Bill Millers before so I’m pretty disappointed. We live 2.5 hours from Cedar park so it’s not like I can just go back and ask for a refund or for them to fix the issue. I understand it’s a busy season but please pay better attention to packing peoples food. Especially in my case where there’s nothing local I can do to fix it.
First time visiting this restaurant! I really liked the cozy, country-style vibe inside — it feels warm and welcoming. We ordered a few breakfast tacos: egg and potato 🥔, bean and cheese, and bean and egg. Personally, I enjoyed the potato and egg taco the most — it was flavorful and satisfying! The bean ones weren’t quite my favorite, but that’s just personal taste. As a vegetarian, I found the menu a bit limited, but I still appreciated the options available and enjoyed what I could have. Looking forward to trying a few more items next time!
There's something off about this place. When looking at it...the food looks delicious, but when you taste it...it's not. I have trying the BBQ and the fried chicken, even the breakfast. I haven't had a satisfying meal yet.
Visited on 10/26/22 about 6:30pm: Service was friendly. All food was ok for me. Nothing really stood out nor was terrible. I tried the Rodeo Plate with brisket, sausage and chicken. Sides were pinto beans, mac n cheese and potatoe salad. Tried the 3 tacos as well: brisket, bean n cheese and carne guisada. For dessert I tried the lemon meringue pie. If your in the area and craving bbq, this is a maybe. If don't want to drive far, still a maybe.
I got rodeo plate with 3 meats. The brisket was more fat than meat (wasn't asked what kind of brisket I wanted). Turkey was nice and sausage was good too. Potato salad was creamy. Rolls were good. We also ordered tenders and had to wait and wait. After waiting for awhile we had to walk back up and ask for them. They don't offer a military discount either.
I had enjoyed this location for a while, but lately 😕 eh. I come here every 1-2 weeks and eat breakfast here and take about $50 worth of tacos to go. I wait each time for pancakes which is what I expect, but latley they come out cold which does not make sense and doesn't do their usual justice for how good they are when hot. I asked for a dozen tortillas and had the thought that I needed to count them this time, they shorted 2 tortillas which means someone is not getting 2 tacos. I told the guy in the back as more of a suggestion to make sure they know how much a dozen is, and he wrote me off for a take out order pick up that was behind me. Needless to say the togo orders have been wrong the last few visits and there are no closer bill millers to me so I guess ill be breaking from this location. Be sure to check your orders before you leave!!! Anytime im south at 71 though I will stop for that one 😢. I will say the lady that works the in-house dining line during the weekday morning is very nice and always smiles and has remembered me which is always a plus as a returning customer.
I ordered a salad-d-lite meal. The smoked chicken was not edible! It was all tough...I couldn't/ wouldn't even feed it to my dogs! I was looking forward to this meal as it had been awhile since I had it. They also no longer give you a roll with it AND the price had gone up. I was passing by on my way back home from work and was too tired to make a 40 minute round trip to exchange!
This is the second time my order has been wrong. The first time they misheard me at the drive-thru. The second time I ordered online and it was still incorrect. Very frustrating. I would not recommend going in the evening. I’ll stick to ordering breakfast tacos only from this location since that’s the only thing they consistently get right.
Staff are nice Brisket is not brisket. Has unrendered fat and is dry, lacks flavor. The BBQ sauce tastes like sour ketchup that's microwaved.
Ordered moist brisket to go and the meat was old, dry and nasty tasting. Parts of the slices had darker color meat were is was clearly dryed out and hard from being old. Also had a baked potato and it was cold, hard and old tasting. This food should have never been sold to a customer in this condition.
I’m so disappointed. I bought 2 pumpkin pies today and tried to eat a piece when I got home. No spices in the pie at all. I’m waiting for my granddaughter to try a piece before I throw it away. I bought the other one for my grandson and told him about it. He still wants it so I’ll take it to him tomorrow. $26.00 for nothing.
I gave this place a 2nd chance by ordering something different. There won’t be a 3rd chance. It’s gross. This time I had the chicken bbq sandwich. First off anything barbecue a lot of it is the sauce the sauce doesn’t even taste like a tangy barbecue flavor. It taste like a cross between water down ketchup, and I’m not even sure what else I can describe it as it does not taste like any sort of traditional barbecue sauce, sweet yet tangy not even close. The sandwich roll was supposed to be toasted so the sandwich wouldn’t be Soggy from the fake bbq sauce- didn’t realize how nasty the bbq sauce was going to be. I had potato salad for the side and the potatoe salad was I kid you not It looked and tasted like white mush. The potatoes are overcooked that if it’s even homemade which I doubt yes it was white mush doesn’t look like there was any celery or mustard in it white and soggy mush. That was gross also unfortunately. The unsweetened T is super super strong guess it needs 10 packs of sugar but that’s un me.. I can make better barbecue hands-down in a slow cooker with tasty barbecue sauce. And I could definitely make potato salad. That’s 100 times better than potato salad. I guess Bill Miller’s is a big thing in San Antonio. I’m not from Texas so maybe this is what the locals are used to. Location I went to is in Cedar Park Tx. Rudy’s BBQ would be better choice.
I just came from here and the food was not good at all. I ordered the fried chicken, brisket, fries, and a lemonade. I decided to get the 4 piece chicken: 2 breasts and 2 wings, even though there was an upcharge for specifying chicken pieces. But they gave us some strange looking thighs. These were overcooked and extremely dry. The amount of breading was ridiculous, considering that there was barely any meat on it. The brisket was barely ok. I would recommend Smokey Mo's or Agape. The brisket's flavor was lacking and just not good. The fries were ok, but they tasted like they were fried in chicken grease. And they included a biscuit, but that thing was so dry, it was ridiculous. Overall, just avoid this place, unless you only want a good lemonade.
Had the worst customer service from this franchise ever. I go to bill miller almost everyday. The lady the line the call her ms Monica I believe was so rude. I explained my food was not portioned as I order 3 tacos because I’m hungry. She give me tacos full of potatoes so I asked for more eggs and she said no it comes with one scoop. I explained the portion size was small and she just kept refusing to accommodate my order so I asked for someone else to help me. Jennifer came to the register to help and gave a portion of eggs inside of the hot sauce cup. This was really rude and I feel like Jennifer carried the same energy as Monica. The manger did come over and asked to remake my tacos. I refused as at this point I don’t even want to eat the tacos and allow the energy that was made with these tacos to enter my body. Poor customer serve for a nice franchise. I hope someone talks to these two employees about the importance of customer service. I will never eat at this location again.
