After a long walk with the dogs, starting from Gaiazza along the former Guidovia trail, we had lunch at this restaurant and the food was divine. We were lucky to find fresh mushrooms, so we chose the taglierini with porcini mushrooms and fried porcini mushrooms. Followed by a magnificent tiramisu. I will definitely be back. The atmosphere is comfortable, very clean, and the veranda is cool, as are the outdoor tables. I recommend it 100%.

The staff are truly friendly. Various dishes, typically Genoese but not exclusively, some excellent, others less so. The coffee is ristretto by default; for a half cup, ask for a long one... The bathrooms are really clean.

Nice, very quaint place. All the dishes were good and the prices were fair. The only flaw was the ravioli al tuccu—you could only taste the oil and they floated in it. Highly recommended.

Characteristic atmosphere, Typical Genoese food, good quality but a bit limited in quantity. The €12 platter was good but the quantity was small.

A place we often go to when we're in the Santuario della Guardia area. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A varied menu and home-cooked food. The Ligurian-style rabbit is top-notch. Very tasty, braised beef in Barolo. The Genoese-style stockfish is traditional and highly recommended. The side dish is perfectly breaded fried artichokes. Their Genoese pandolce, served for dessert, is very good.

Alla ricerca di un pranzo domenicale in trattoria nella splendida cornice del Santuario della Madonna della Guardia. Pensavamo di capitare in una tipica trattoria come in effetti abbiamo trovato : Cibo ben cucinato , scelta di piatti della cucina ligure , locale molto affollato , servizio ai clienti in due turni . tutto rispettava le aspettative . Premetto che sia il menu che il cibo scelto fosse buono , la cosa che un po’ ha stonato è stato il conto . 2 secondi di carne 2 contorni 2 caffè Acqua e vino della casa 35€ a testa Per essere una trattoria con tutto alla “ buona” compreso servizio, frastuono e attesa del turno mi è sembrato un po’ eccessivo . Siamo soliti frequentare locali di ogni tipo per questo considero la mia recensione obiettiva Chi volesse fare un pasto “ completo “ quanto dovrebbe spendere in “ Trattoria”?

The food was average, but unfortunately, at one point, a table of people in their 50s and 60s arrived and started screaming like teenagers. Despite complaints from other diners, the noise continued, and one of the waitresses responded, "I can't help it if they're making a racket."

I read several reviews before eating at this restaurant, and honestly, I had higher expectations than I actually ate. The appetizer was truly poor, with not even a full spoonful of Russian salad, two pieces of vegetable pie, one of which was crumbled and "reassembled," and a small square of meatloaf. The baked lasagna was neither good nor bad, and the ravioli with a good sauce. A liter of water cost €3 and a cover charge was €2.50, which, in my opinion, were expensive. I won't be returning.

We went for Ferragosto 2025. Terrible experience. The place had no air conditioning despite the presence of air conditioning. The dishes were meager and ridiculously priced. 2 cod fritters were €13.00. Extremely slow service. We entered the restaurant at 12:30, and the appetizer arrived after an hour. Complaints from other guests as well. We won't be returning!

An experience not to be repeated... the food is not up to par with the price. The room is noisy and very hot, it's impossible not to have the air conditioning on in mid-August... and the waiter was very rude to an elderly person, replying "come into the kitchen and feel the heat"...

I don't understand what happened here today... I ordered a plate of mozzarella and prosciutto crudo, preferably without fat, and the waitress told me there was no prosciutto inside. The plate arrived with fat on the outside and inside the slice, at which point I told her I basically couldn't eat any of the prosciutto because it was mostly fatty. She replied that they don't make it in the kitchen... I politely asked her for a salad with tomato, mozzarella, and tuna, and it arrived without tuna, but still. The problem was that some of the leaves were rotten, and I had to look at every single piece and check what I was eating. I honestly didn't feel like going to a restaurant and having to throw out spoiled food from the healthy ones, so I got up without finishing. I explained what happened to the cashier, documenting it with photos, and paid 10 euros for the salad I touched. A terrible experience... What a shame!
