The food is delicious and outstanding. I had egg rolls, a 47 and a 49, with hot tea and tai tea. The food was very good and the vegetables were extremely fresh and perfectly cooked. Egg rolls were fantastic and you can tell their frying oil is fresh. Flavor was complex and well balanced. Service was very nice and helpful. Will definitely go again. Now, there is an area for improvement: The food was served on cold platters, which dropped the temperature of the food with my second helping. Would definitely recommend that they preheat their platters.
This place is amazing. The staff are all super friendly, and the food is outstanding. The pad-Thai and Thai coffee are incredible. The spice is no joke. I love spicy food and I normally just get Medium here. Medium is spicy.
The wife and I just recently found this place and we are pretty much hooked. Any time we want good Thai food we come to this place. Food is competitively prices. They have a great lunch special, yet the dinner prices are not too bad. I've really enjoyed their style of bento box - and their spring rolls are amazing. I definitely believe that more people should know about this place!
The food is always excellent. They go above and beyond to do my daughter’s special order and the paw kee mee w shrimp chicken and fried egg rolls are terrific.thai iced tea they accommodated us to take home during there lunch hour at 3pm. Great price for lunch
Food is amazing, I'm never disappointed when I go. Today I had their fantastic pad tai, basil chicken wings, their calamari, and a beef salad called "Neua Nam Tok Salad", that was amazing. The salad was my favorite perfect for a hot day, and I got a medium spice, which was perfect. It has a tart fish sauce and mint leaves that was a perfect combination.
The BEST Lao Thai we've ever had!.. A must try for anyone who loves Thai.. 😁 Every meal is perfection & truly delicious.. Highly recommended! Fresh & always amazing! The pineapple fried rice with shrimp & tofu couldn't be any better. The shrimp rolls are amazing as well. The service there is always 5 stars! Great customer service experience ALWAYS. Thank you Eric for always being awesome & a pleasure to see you. & yet another amazing meal. 👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍
The food was a 5/5. Best Pho I ever. Pad Thai was definitely my favorite. , This place is kid friendly, calm, quiet, and very welcoming little restaurant in Ceres, CA. Definitely, recommended it. I would give it a 10 star if possible.
I love ur food its really good and really good sevice
Love this place, everything on the menu is good. I just wish they were open later and on the weekends.
My wife was reluctant to try Thai food. I brought home some pad see ew and now it's one of her favorites. Our children also love it. The staff is always very friendly. We've only done take out so far but I hope to bring the family in to dine in soon.
What an incredible place! We initially ordered from the standard menu but then asked what the most authentically Lao dishes were—and were given a whole new “Lao and Proud” menu! We proceeded to get an assortment of dishes from both, the best of which was hands-down the Lao sausages. Our server was wonderful too, helping us at every step and making sure all was perfect! We will definitely visit again!
This place is a hidden gem. I really love the food real authentic, and the owners put a lot of heart and soul into their dishes. Husband and wife cooking side by side in the kitchen all that love in the atmosphere, and then they apply it on a dish served with delicious authentic food from the soul. Great service, the girls Josephine and Mela are the best everyone is welcoming and very kind. I will spend my money here every pay day. Come treat yourself, don't cheat yourself, CERES CA always accepting new family members to the restaurant come try them out I promise you will come back...🙌🏽❤️✝️
I love this place, their food is amazing. Service is great with friendly waitresses. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
I love this restaurant food. When I walked in to pick up my food. they was very friendly and also there food is very good and cooked freshed. What I get is The Salmon Lab Curry.
It w as great! Great food very delicious
Decided to try this spot out and was so happy I did! Would highly recommend! Great flavor, reasonable prices, and good portions. The dining area is large with lots of seating and the staff is very friendly! The chicken pad prig king was so tasty! They had lots of menu options for food and drinks. They pack serious heat so beware when ordering. We ordered medium and it was almost unbearably spicy. Love spicy and this packed a punch! Will definitely be back!
I liked the food, my pineapple seafood rice was delicious, and sufficient amount. Thai tea was good. Egg roll very well made. Spicy food is really spicy including if you have a spicy palate. The green seafood curry was good (but small portion as the eater said) service is great let’s say over average, place is clean. Thanks and I’ll be here again for more.
WOW what a great find! Terrific Thai cuisine with friendly service, just off the beaten path in Ceres! Worth the drive from neighboring towns too. Ask for Josephina who has a terrific sense of humor and can help people navigate the spice level and other questions that come up when ordering from such an exotic menu. Everything we tried was outstanding! Red Curry was perfectly spicy. BBQ pork was tender and char broiled. The eggplant was amazing! And mango sticky rice is always a delightfully sweet ending!
Good food and good costumer service. This was my first time here but I’ll be going back to try more stuff. Spring rolls, drunken noodles, pho, fried bananas & sticky rice with mango. Everything was really good.
My family and I had an amazing experience with great customer service(06/17/18). It was my first experience trying out their food and I loved it. I really appreciate the patience and kindness of the customer service we received. This restaurant is a little hidden but they make very authentic food while carrying great vibes throughout the whole restaurant. I hope to have the chance to dine in soon.
Best pad thai I’ve had! Staff were so kind.
The best thai food I've had in the 209 area. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The food was delicious and not overpriced by any means. Everything was well cooked and had tons of flavor. The area was clean and well organized. 10/10 on pretty much every aspect I look at to see if I'd want to go back.
Great find on the way to Yosemite! The food is delicious, the staff is super welcoming, and the vibe inside is excellent. Definitely worth a stop.
Do not let the location scare you away. This is a hidden gym! And if you’re so lucky ask for Josephina, she is an amazing server with a great sense of humor. The food is absolutely amazing, fresh, hot, and delicious!
Solid Southeast Asian option just south of Modesto. Located in a Ceres strip mall, the kitchen doles out bursts of fresh flavors and spice. Neua Nam Tok Salad, thinly-sliced grilled beef tossed with cilantro, mint, chili, red onion and lettuce, finished in a savory-sweet lime dressing — yum! Red Pepper Hot Pot, udon noodles, seafood and Asian veggies in pork broth, decent but could use a bit more depth in flavor. An excellent stop off when driving along I-99
Friendly, flexible service and really great food! I have a very high spice tolerance and they were very accomodating. Portions are generous. I really enjoyed my Penang curry and my dessert, mango and sticky rice.
Hungry for Thai??...Try this spot!! It's a hidden gem in Ceres tucked in a small plaza. Place was clean with friendly staff. Ordered the Pompano fish..yummy! The sauce was amazingly tasty. The soup...forgot the name..but it was lemony, creamy and spicy at the same time. We also had their fried cream cheese shrimp eggrolls, panko tofu and wings...wow! Will definitely return to taste other things they offer.
One of the best Thailand food I’ve had. I’ve tried Phaneng curry and Tom Yum all over Northern California and this has to be the best of them. I love how their fried rice is crispy and chewy at the same time and I paired my meal with their Thai iced tea was so rich in flavor. The Bento Box 1 had all orange chicken teriyaki chicken and two egg rolls that were flavorful. Glad this place exist in Central Valley!

Ordered takeout, but the food came promptly and the clerk (whoever she was that we ordered dinner for on the same day of this post) was polite, considerate and made sure our takeout was packaged well. The food was tasty and came together well. I was looking for something Laotian and the girl recommended one of the salads that I got this minced grilled beef with and sticky rice. The pad thai was great too, if anything maybe a few more ingredients, but it was very solid, and had a good consistency to it.
This is easily the best restaurant in Ceres. The Thai food is always fresh and full of flavor, and everything we’ve tried has been so good. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. It’s one of those places we’re always happy to come back to. Highly recommend!
My partner and i came in on tuesday around 240pm… we werent really sure they closed between 3-5pm (which i did mention to my bf because i saw it on apple maps and yelp)BUT he didnt listen to me so here we are coming in at 245pm when theyre about to close. Now usually we dont even bother getting take out but the server/host that spoke to me said we could still do take out. I unfortunately dont remember his name but he had 3 earings on one ear, very nice person and i truly wish i could’ve given you a bigger tip but i hope what we left was for you only. Food was great! Papaya salad lao style was a little on the sweeter side but better than other places. Pad thai- good but a little sour and plain for us. Fried tofu- delicious! Simple but so good. (Best when fresh) Fried rice- 2nd fav dish. Bbq pork pieces- very goodand great portion size. We will be back, you now have 2 regulars until we leave the area. Thank you again to the server guy! We appreciate you letting us order. We will dine in next time (way before closing time)

My favorite Thai dish is chicken pad Thai, so I have high expectations when I order it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the dish as it lacked flavor. However, the spring rolls and egg rolls made up for it. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant appeared clean and well-maintained
Food was good, but it took over 30 minutes for it to be completed. We ordered to go and one meal was just seating on the shelf and no one called it out and the second 2 were in the back. I had to get the get the someone attention to finally get my food. The restaurant was not busy, only a handful of people were inside.
Really enjoyed some items here but one of the noodles we ordered were super spicy even for us, we usually are okay with normal Thai spice. Thai milk tea was good as well. The place is value for money 💰

The Tum Yum noodle soup was not one of the best I have had.
No a/c so it's hot inside but there is a fan. Curry lacking spice and very watery. Beef kabobs were excellent and served with spicy sauces. Overall, ok service and edible food...not worth the trip unless you're passing by.
After reading such wonderful reviews, I just knew I would love this place. I ordered takeout. $33 later, for lunch, the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Fried Rice had an unpleasant charred taste, like they cooked it in a wok on too high heat for too long. I've noticed this happens often at Asian restaurants. The egg rolls were good. And the lady out front was delightful. I just wish my food hadn't tasted like it was burnt.
First time costumer experience: Pros: The food was tasty & the side spicy sauces were great! Cons: portions are very small & not filled as a full portion. My side of rice was half full (small container). I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant this week when I went inside for the first time to order food to go due to the incredibly rude behavior of the female host. She refused to answer basic menu questions by being short and dismissive with her responses. It was honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced- I was made to feel belittled and unwelcome just for taking a moment to read the menu and ask which items were spicy. Although, there were no other customers waiting and only one table with 2 costumers. It was such an uncomfortable treatment that many times in my short stay I thought about leaving. It’s unfortunate because the food was good, but no great meal can make up for such poor treatment. I truly hope management considers training staff because no customer should ever be made to feel this way and a great costumer service experience is a great factor for returning costumers.

I have been a loyal customer. I ordered from this restaurant at least twice a week. I could take my business elsewhere but I believe in supporting the local businesses in my community. For all my To Go orders I tipped every time. Today's order was unpleasant. The BBQ duck was obviously re-warmed because it was extremely dry. It was not fresh since the meat was dark and dry. I've had BBQ duck from many places and the meat is tender and juicy. I am leaving this review in hopes the owner understands customer loyalty and that in this pandemic where many businesses are struggling, one should make customer service a priority. If you're not going to eat this dish don't serve it to your customer just to get rid of it. Think of your customers as your bank value not just a number. I am disappointed that I now have to leave this food as waste.
Got there at 830 and thay said thay closed at 845 ... I just wanted some noodles... never again
My family and I were really excited about trying this place. I like spicy but because this was a new place, I decided to order medium pad thai rather than “spicy”. Well I couldn’t eat it. My stomach started hurting right away. I added 3 lemons to the plate and nothing made it better. I called the place asking if they could remake it and their answer was “No” “you have to buy another one”. This place has lost mine and my family’s business for sure.
Expensive for 1 plate to go $24 that’s a price of 2 plates at panda ) honestly food was cold the shrimp was cold and oily ) also the chowmain has no flavor the rice is plain no taste
I came here looking to find some authentic food but was highly disappointed. The first red flag was this place had like a western vibe to it. Nothing wrong with it but it gave me the feeling like the food was going to be dumbed down.Without the title I would have never thought this was a asian restaurant. I shrugged it off and thought maybe the food might be great, especially from all the High reviews. So as I go to order and start asking about their dishes, I asked about their rice portions. The kind waitress didnt even know the portions, and even said they might not have enough rice. Lmao...Second red flag. So I shrugged it off and thought they might ve been packed earlier and didnt make enough, it happens. I ordered the papaya spicy, raw beef laab spicy, crispy pork belly, and 4 side of sticky rice. When I took a look at the pork belly portion it looked like it should be 5 dollars worth. Paid almost 20 for it. The papaya and raw laab was not spicy at all. If u know asians we love eating spicy food. The papaya lao style was garbage, I think they only put fish sauce for the dressing because that's all I could taste. Papaya salad is the kind of dish where its suppose to give your taste buds all it can handle, from spice to sweet and sour, bitter, everything. But it was bland. The pork was dry. The laab was OK. Let me put it this way, ill make all those dishes better at home. As for the rice I now know why she couldn't give me portion size. They use sanwich bags to bag them lmao. It felt unsanitary to say the least. I will never be going back there again. They dumbed down all the authentic flavors. I cant speak on the thai dishes much because I was never a fan of Thai dishes.
