Everything was very good, the dishes well-prepared and tasty. The atmosphere was typically mountainous, welcoming and pleasant. The service was fast and efficient. Nothing to complain about: the place was comfortable and the prices were reasonable for the food. A decidedly positive experience, recommended.
We booked a table for four. It was 12:00 p.m....everything was perfect. Polenta with several options to choose from. Friendly staff, fast service, excellent price. I can only make one complaint, if I may: there's no paper menu with the corresponding prices when you make your selections. I think it's embarrassing to ask the waitress the price of each course. Otherwise, highly recommended.
Highly recommended!!!! This recently renovated, rustic restaurant is very beautiful. Friendly staff. Fast and accurate service. Excellent food, traditional cuisine, and generous portions. Great prices. I recommend the appetizers, mouth-watering! And the polenta... Excellent!! Some free street parking is available. I've never been there before, but I'll definitely be back! I recommend booking because the restaurant isn't very big, but they serve very quickly, allowing for more seating.
A typical mountain trattoria, heated by a stove and a hot bathroom. Clean and welcoming. The young staff is very friendly and attentive. Typical Piedmontese dishes, such as montata, polenta concia, and mixed antipasti, are delicious. I'll try the rest next time. Also suitable for celiacs because they're very clever and practical; they prepare almost everything gluten-free, so they're completely worry-free. Well done! I'll be back in the summer!
Warm, friendly, and cheerful atmosphere. Simple, delicious food... excellent polenta. Vegetarian friendly. It's always a good idea to book; the staff is incredibly friendly, despite the many hungry people after a day out in the snow. I've come here with my daughter in the past for a post-snow afternoon snack... first time for lunch; we'll be back.
After a heavy snowfall, we strolled around Ceresole and then stopped for some delicious polenta at this recently renovated restaurant. It was a great choice: an excellent mixed antipasto, two polentas (one concia with a trio of meats and one with sausage), water, a glass of wine, and coffee. The price was more than fair. Recommended if you're in the area.
I'm always happy to review a worthy place, but in this case, I highly recommend stopping by at least once. Best polenta concia I've ever had. Excellent service and truly delicious mountain dishes. Pictured are polenta concia and apple pie. We paid €15 each for appetizers, a first course, dessert, and coffee. Truly honest and kind. Highly recommend.
An old-fashioned inn run with heart and passion by its young owners. I recommend the polenta concia nel coccio and the wild boar stew. The homemade desserts are also very good. Book in advance because the place is small and always busy. Prices are average. A welcoming and rustic atmosphere for those who love the mountains.
A trip to the lake and then to Colle del Nivolet, and we had a lovely, top-notch lunch. My boyfriend and I had a great time: I booked the day before and they served us as soon as we arrived. We had polenta concia with sausage, an appetizer, a first course, two glasses of red wine, and two desserts (because we have a sweet tooth). We spent €44. For us, it was a fair price, a fair price for what we ate. I recommend booking and going!! ☺️
I discovered this place, deciding to take a trip with my wife and two dogs. I hadn't booked, but after a short wait, the very kind staff found us a seat. While we waited, two Spritzes were a welcome treat. Then two mixed appetizers, followed by delicious polenta concia with a side of three types of meat. Everything was tastefully polished off. Water, wine, and to finish, a truly excellent tart and two excellent coffees. All for a total of 57 euros. Thanks again to the courteous, kind, and always smiling girls. Thank you so much for making our day even better. 🤗
Good experience, very crowded, but that's to be expected considering it's the Ferragosto holiday. Good service, mostly young people. We had an appetizer: polenta with sausage and wild boar. Dessert: chocolate meringue. The meat was good, especially the sausage. The appetizer was good, but I would have preferred more cured meats. The dessert was good. We had the house red wine, which wasn't bad. The bill was reasonable and reasonable for the location.
Typical restaurant in the area almost overlooking the lake. Seating inside or on the street. Young staff. Excellent dishes although the portions are modest. I recommend the polenta concia and the bonet (homemade). In my opinion it is better to book on weekends. Possibility of lunch at noon or at 1:30. Fair prices.
Great spot to stop for a coffee just as the light is going down behind the alps...... and the coffee is also good.
Friday lunch: 30% of the seats occupied, 30-minute wait for a waiter/service. Not even for the menu or drinks. The wait ended because I preferred to go to a more serious establishment. I asked for the owner, but he was busy in the kitchen and I was terrified of having to wait hours to speak to him, so I said goodbye. I would have liked to review the food as well, but I didn't get the chance. PS: Two waitresses were outside smoking; I'm happy because at least the staff isn't stressed and understaffed.
