It's a beautiful place immersed in nature and surrounded by mountains, from which you can clearly see the Toc landslide. The dishes are absolutely delicious, and the staff is very kind and professional. I recommend trying the trio as a first course: small portions with different flavors, but a delight for the palate. I went to Erto on my Vespa, passing by the Vajont Dam. I was supposed to meet Mauro Corona, the famous mountaineer, sculptor, and writer, but he wasn't home. Talking to the locals, they told me he often went to the Cervo Bianco restaurant, but when I got there, he wasn't even there. The owner of the family-run restaurant told me he only goes there in the winter. Since it was already lunchtime, I stopped for a bite. I had a roe deer menu, everything excellent and almost too generous. When I return from Corona, I'll go and eat with him.

Excellent restaurant serving traditional local dishes. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We were delighted with the gnocchi del poverello, the very special zoccoletti, and the grilled game. The apple and walnut cake of the day was served warm. The flask of red wine, very aromatic, is a must-try.

We had lunch at this restaurant on Saturday. I can only compliment the delicious food, the portions, the service, and something else, which is essential for me... the gluten-free bread. I was skeptical I'd find it—I usually carry crackers in my bag because it's still really hard to find restaurants that offer it—but I gave it a try, and shortly thereafter, the gluten-free bread arrived: four warm loaves, individually wrapped as is customary. It was delicious, too, so much so that I asked for the brand. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this trattoria deserves it! Located in the highest part of the village of Erto e Casso in the province of Pordenone, with a picturesque view of its mountains and hills, this trattoria is typical of mountainous areas, with a characteristic atmosphere and furnishings. As soon as you enter, you breathe in the mountain air and the aromas of the kitchen envelop you. The decor is beautiful, and the stunning fireplace at the back of the room warms the room with a live fire. The local dishes are delicious... handmade gnocchi and tagliatelle, frigo, polenta. Flavorful traditional local dishes also include game and beef. A very positive note comes from the staff, a family-run business, very hospitable, simple, and with a strong sense of helpfulness that puts the customer at ease. A typical dessert, the apple strudel, is very good. Beautifully decorated dishes. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth trying.

Located in the Vajont area, just a short drive from the aforementioned restaurant, you go up an easily accessible road. The only drawback is that parking is limited. The restaurant is quaint and very beautiful, although the exterior could use a little more attention. The food is locally sourced, with game being a mainstay on the menu, and the dishes are very good. Highly recommended.

We were 15 person, we paid 375€ and we’d all got a little piece of cheese with a little piece of ham and then a little portion of mushroom risotto and pasta with half home made wine. Useless to sai…

Locale simpatico sulla falsariga delle trattorie prealpine. Personale cortese ma non sempre presente anche a causa del tutto esaurito. Qualche contrattempo con le ordinazioni . Le pietanze si collocano nella media di quelle canoniche della zona.
