Food and service were the best anywhere. We got a warm welcome and attentive service the whole time. They spoke a range of languages so we were able to order in English and we used google translate to translate the menu. Our food was to die for. Thankyou guys!

Wonderful meal and service at Ariston. The pizzas were fabulous (better than Hans) and the Tri-colore Knodel was amazing. This place has gotten a few bad reviews recently but change is in order and I highly recommend visiting while in the area. We had the Bufala pizza, Knodel and tiramisu (which was also better than Han’s, and was the best we’ve had so far in Italy). Grazie!

Came here for dinner with friends one evening. We all ordered pizza which came very fast with friendly staff! Large menu of pizza to choose from and pizza was excellent!! We also order the tiramisu for dessert which was also great. Would definitely visit again!

Went in Apr 2023 and it was right after the skiing season. Delicious food and the place wasn’t crowded. We went there for 2 days straight. We had thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu and they even sat down to give us a walkthrough on how to make it! It was really nice of them to offer us a shot glass of limoncello as we were paying and getting ready to leave. Side note, the napkins were really good quality too.

Was there for a dinner and was greatly surprised. Atmosphere was unique and fantastic. I ordered pizza called "Toblach" and it was really a surprise but a welcomed one! Enjoyed stay and got gratis shot of grappa! Thank you!

Nice location in the center of Dobbiaco. I’ve been there twice and I had pizza and canerdelli both delicious. Table available outside and inside. I definitely suggest this restaurant.

Pizzeria al centro di Dobbiaco, proprio di fronte alla cattedrale. Abbiamo preso due pizze, posso dire molto buone, con tavoli all’aperto. Il servizio è un po’ da migliorare, cameriere che giravano con le pizze per i tavoli non sapendo di chi fossero.

Bel punto di ristoro nella piazza centrale di Dobbiaco. Ottimi I canederli. Un po meno buoni gli spetzl (troppo dolce la panna). Buon servizio veloce.

Buona la pizza normale ma quella senza glutine non è un granché, però è da apprezzare che almeno c'è l'hanno. Servizio buono, posto molto frequentato.

Elegant and cordial service. Prices are reasonable and attractive. Pizza is fine, the dough is thin and crispy on the edges. The pasta was okay, too, although the mushrooms could be better. Fine experience in total, gladly the place is open during the siesta hours. Drinks are cheap and good. Desserts lack some freshness at times.

Truly our expectations were pretty low. We just needed a spot for an early meal. We did call and reserve though at the early hour we went it didn’t seem necessary. Staff was friendly on the whole. The pizza menu is HUGE - which usually isn’t a great sign. This is not Naples style pizza either. It’s more between Roman style and almost NY style. Either way we could see it being made from our table. They are a good size for one hungry person or two people could share one, especially if getting a starter. The ingredients were good quality and the pizza dough (cooked properly with a bit of crispness and no sogginess) held up to the sauce and toppings in good balance.

Worst service ever! We arrived for dinner and were barely greeted, he just pointed to a table. The table wasn’t set so we asked for a tablecloth. We then had to ask for menus. Our drinks order was…

Un posto carino, ma quando c'è molta gente tutti entrano in panico diventano poco carini nel rispondere. Ma tutto sommato se sono tranquilli fa piacere andarci e chiacchierare pure con i ragazzi del posto di lavoro.

Aperitivo in 4. Micro coppetta di patatine e di noccioline...4 cocktail. Servizio davvero scarso...

Partiamo dal principio della tragedia, arriviamo e c era il tavolo pieno di briciole, ci hanno fatto accomodare ugualmente, i menù erano unti (giá li dovevo capire ma sono un eterno fiducioso ma non rifiuto e vado avanti stile “affari tuoi”. Ci portano il pane , che sembrava il Pan bauletto della mulino bianco, ma dopo na settimana che sta nel Frigo. Arrivano gli antipasti, tagliere fatto con prodotti di scarsa qualità, spek veramente inqualificabile , “salame” Milano che lo Trovavo anche da solo al Iper-Tosano. Passiamo alla vera tragedia. Ordino un Hamburger, mi arriva, freddo, la Carne era palesemente come gli hamburger congelati che danno allo stadio, ma non ai baracchini fuori che sono pure buoni, ma nei bar dentro allo stadio, quindi una qualità pessima, “na soletta de scarpe” come direbbe Non a Adriana, do due morsi e lascio li il tutto. Arriva la cameriera (ps : masticare la gomma mentre si serve ai tavoli fa parte della divisa di questo locale) mi chiede cosa non è andato, glielo spiego e lei mi dice che mi sbaglio e che gli hamburger vanno tantissimo… la guardo e non gli rispondo neanche, che sia mai seguono un consiglio si migliorano e poi mi tocca ritornarci. Evitate se cercate di mangiare bene. Andateci se volete una bottiglietta d acqua, quella era buona, lo so di per certo perche ne ho bevuti 3 litri per le patatine salate e fritte con l Olio della presa della bastiglia.

Preso aperitivo, portano solo patatine e noccioline, ma non c'è comunque molto altro da ordinare. Abbiamo preso 2 toast con lo speck, ci hanno detto di averne solo 1. Come fa a finire lo speck, che lo trovi ad ogni angolo?! E comunque era quasi vuoto, non un gran che. L'aperitivo più triste che abbia mai fatto.

Mi spiace ma la ragazza che ci ha portato i succhi di frutta poteva essere più attenta, anche un non vedendo si sarebbe accorta che tutti e o 2 i bicchieri erano rotto😅. Comunque abbiamo ordinato la frittella tipica.

Prenotato con amici il 06/12/2025 per le ore 13,00,del giorno 08/12/2025proviamo ad avvisare telefonicamente del nostro ritardo di 15 minuti ma non risponde nessuno.Arriviamo e non risulta la prenotazione ci fanno accomodare in qualche modo all'atto della comanda ci informano che la cucina sta chiudendo e che alcuni piatti sono finiti.....erano le 13,45 a voi le conclusioni

Non è possibile dare una stella. Alla mia età non ho mai vissuto una incompetenza così. Consiglio a chiunque di non fermarsi. Abbiamo prenotato per 10 persone due giorni prima, ma quando siamo arrivati si sono dimenticati della nostra prenotazione e con modo saccente ci hanno detto che non avevano il tavolo usando scuse su scuse. Siamo riusciti dopo 40 minuti a sederci in due tavoli separati ma al momento di ordinare ci dicono che non avevano più nulla disponibile, solo la pizza. Terribile il servizio in quanto i camerieri sono stati estremamente maleducati e saccenti. Da 0 stelle.

Very rude staff that was mocking us for speaking English. Waitress ignored us and then was annoyed and rolling her eyes etc when we tried talking to her.

The food was nice, we had the tiramisu and strudel. But the personel was awful. We entered and asked if we could sit, and the lady didn’t speak english, so she seemed annoyed to begin with. She rolled her eyes and called someone else, who could supposedly speak to us. The other lady came and seemed mad to begin with. I asked if we could have a table and she said yes while rolling her eyes. She didnt tell me where to sit or if any tables have reservations, so I stood there looking at her for like 5 seconds. She then shook her head and said annoyed something along the lines of “go. What are you waiting for” and when I turned around she said something in Italian to her colleague with a sigh, and they started to laugh loudly when I went to sit. The same with payment later. For these prices you would expect a better treatment. I understand not everyone speaks english, it is Italy after all, but it’s not a reason to mock customers and be rude.

Wish We Had Skipped This One – Hope Things Improve Soon Visited: July 13, 2025 at 6:45 PM We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. The ambiance was noisy and crowded, zero romance and terrible service. To start with a positive: the blonde woman who answered the phone when we made our reservation was lovely—warm, helpful, and gave a great first impression. But once we arrived, the service completely shifted. The waitress who served us (curly hair) seemed rushed and uninterested. When we asked a simple question about vegetarian options, she didn’t really answer—just told us they can do anything, said she was busy and walked off. It felt like we were bothering her just by asking. The restaurant also looked nothing like the photos online, which made the experience feel even more disappointing. We got stuffed in the middle of a loud crowded room. We were also surprised to be charged a €4 coperto fee, despite not eating the bread, the poor service and overall vibe (very noisy). If you’re deciding where to eat, I’d recommend checking out Hans Pizza instead—it was friendly, fast, and tasty. Or honestly, dinner at your hotel might be a more relaxed experience as this place and Hans both are crowded. To the manager: I hope this comes across as constructive. You’ve got a great location and one team member who clearly knows how to treat guests. With some attention to staff training and bringing the actual dining experience closer to what’s going to be a memorable place for return customers in Dolomites. Investing in customer service training could really turn things around.
