800 Degrees Lounge - Bar One Southpark

I came into Bar One this past weekend for the first time for a drink. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. Without a doubt I can say I had an amazing experience. The bartenders Christian and Paula went above and beyond to help me choose cocktails from their extensive menu, based on my preferences and they did not disappoint. The French 75 blueberry that they made was spectacular, and my friend loved the Old Fashioned. I enjoyed my time spent there and will 100% be returning to Bar One!

we loved every bit of it from food to drinks. Customer Service was impeccable. (Ryan) loves what he’s doing very professional however, i could tell tge other Bartenders were nice too! We’ll be back to try everything on the menu. Time well spent🤗

Very nice bar and lounge. Different style. The atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. Staff was super nice and knowledgeable. My bartender was Noelle I believe. So sweet and pleasant. I had a great tequila mixed drink.. so good also a green salad and pizza.. very yummy!! I definitely will be back. Omg. This place has done a 360. I love it!!! ❤️ the vibes are amazing here. Came here for birthday drinks. Loved them. They have expanded and now have a dj. Bravo. We needed this in southpark.

Millie was our bartender and therapist. Ryan killed the expresso Martini, Amazing service and atmosphere. We really enjoyed this bar and we will be back.

A fantastic and fashionable bar that serves delicious food and beverages. They occasionally host events, so following their Instagram page is a great way to stay informed about the happenings. I'm aware that they frequently have a DJ playing old-school hip-hop and R&B on Fridays. They have a fantastic mixology team that can make any drink you desire. Undoubtedly one of my preferred locations.

We had reservations here at 8:15 and had to show up just a little late due to some of us being in an accident, and they were very understanding and accommodating. The atmosphere and music here made it a great bar lounge. The drinks were all great, they are pricey but worth it. We had the parmesan fries, which were outstanding, it came with a cheese fondue. And we also had 2 pizzas which were amazing. I can’t wait to come here again. The drink below was called ‘State of Grace’

This is an establishment for the older crowd, and my party thoroughly enjoyed it. The drinks were strong, and the food was tasty. Great music! I hate that we missed the live music portion. Make sure you make reservations. Plenty of parking!

Great atmosphere and fabulous cocktails. My group ordered espresso martinis and a bartender special. We just mentioned what base liquor we prefer and a flavor profile. Based on that they whipped up a really yummy drink. The bartenders there are mixologists who can create custom drinks. We got to chat with the Bar Manager Anna. She is so personable and gave 10/10 customer service!

I recently dined at Bar One and I have to say my experience was amazing! The new expansion area is perfect! I highly recommend trying out their pizzas and getting a few cocktails while at it. Staff was friendly and checked in with us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. I will be back soon.

This was our 2nd time back to the restaurant, but our first time on the Bar One Lounge side. Not only was the food and drinks terrific, but our server Chris was absolutely fantastic! He was kind, courteous and personable! We had great conversation! We can’t wait to return and request Chris as our server! The ambience on the Bar One side of the restaurant is amazing and the live guitarist Savannah made the experience that much more wonderful! A+++

Such a great spot in South Park. Had a fantastic dinner here. Started with the burrata and then a filet and lasagna for the table. Our server Chris took great care of us - great suggestions from the menu and incredible service. Cocktails were amazing - Greg and Noah behind the bar are great at what they do. A perfect date night. Will have to come back on a night where they have live music. Much thanks to the staff here for an incredible experience!

And make sure not to skip out on the meatballs and cauliflower. The quality of service, coupled with the inviting atmosphere and delicious cuisine, makes it a standout choice for any occasion. I’ve come here several times and every time I’ve enjoyed my experience. The ambiance is something that was missing from Southpark. Very chic vibe. Noah, Lisa, Chris, and Krista are always so friendly and great to interact with. The food is better than many bars in the area. The chopped salad and meatballs are my favorite. The Aviation cocktail is a must!! Definitely try this spot if you haven’t yet.

Me and my friends love coming to bar one!! We always have an amazing experience, the bartenders are phenomenal, especially George. He is always super attentive, sweet and smiling ☺️. Christian and Anna made us the best cocktails and always give us a 10/10 experience.

Absolutely yes. We will definitely be back. We were served well by Juan, who was attentive and extremely kind. My husband had the meatloaf, which is the owner’s mother’s recipe. It was divine. I ordered the Greek salad and added Romaine lettuce since the salad does not come with lettuce. The salad has a lot of tomatoes, so beware if you aren’t a tomato person. The ingredients are super fresh and tasty. I also had the fingerling potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I would recommend it all! We had a 5:30 pm reservation on a Sat night, so we beat the crowd. There is outdoor seating, and there are heat lamps out there for the cold months. We’re already planning our next trip.

We had our monthly girls dinner at Bar One lounge and Chris was our server! Besides the food and music being AWESOME (keep your playlist forever) the customer service by Chris was amazing! The food came quick, the ambiance was 10/10, and everyone was so kind. The owner was also pitching in to help where was needed and as a small business owner myself, I really respect seeing the owner on a busy Saturday night. The chicken milanese was AMAZING! We will be back. Thank you Chris and the whole Bar One team!

800° Lounge is outstanding. It has an amazing atmosphere, incredible energy, and an elevated experience all around. The live music on Tuesday & Thursday is amazing. Chris was our server and he was exceptional! Attentive, professional, and genuinely focused on delivering top-tier customer service. He absolutely elevated our visit. As we were heading out, we stopped at the bar for a nightcap and had an exceptional experience with Noah. He was polished, engaging, and an absolute vibe. What began as a simple Sauvignon Blanc pour became a thoughtful, educational moment that showcased just how strong the bar program is. You can tell Noah truly loves his craft. 800° is fortunate to have such talent behind the bar. Can’t recommend this place enough! What are you waiting for? Go to 800°. I had an incredible experience at Bar One in South Park Charlotte (now known as 800 lounge) , and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Chris. From the moment we sat down, Chris made us feel genuinely welcomed. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, and his knowledge of the menu and cocktails was impressive. Chris gave spot-on recommendations—everything he suggested was delicious—and he consistently checked in at the right times to make sure we had everything we needed. His friendly personality and professionalism elevated the entire dining experience. If you’re visiting Bar One, definitely ask for Chris. He turned a great night out into an exceptional one! Highly recommend.

Nice place to celebrate a birthday dinner in a more intimate setting. Cocktails, food, and live music were great, but best part was the amazing service we received from our waiter Chris! Appreciated his recommendations and attentive, friendly service. Wish there was a way to request him when we book our next reservation!

Chris at Bar One Lounge gets 5 stars from us! We loved it so much we went two nights in a row while here staying at the hotel next door. The bar has a cozy yet luxurious feel and the food and drinks are great. We highly recommend the Honey Badger Pizza and the Old Fashioned. Chris was our server both nights and made sure our experience was top notch. We will be back next time we are in town.

I had lunch and drinks here - Brussels and the roasted wings. The food was delicious (even the next day), but what made this experience so great was the excellent service we received from Noah, our waiter. He was attentive, friendly and a pleasure to have around. He was also our bartender and our drinks were AMAZING! His manager, Krista was also very pleasant and appreciated the fact that we called her over to compliment Noah. We will definitely be back!

I live in Raleigh and when I tell you it’s an absolute joy to come here…I mean it! Chris provided exceptional service from beginning to end! The food and atmosphere and stellar service are hard to top! Awesome experience 10/10!!

I went late on Friday night as a solo date. My reservation was at 945pm. I was seated quickly - a booth by the bar. The vibes were dope! DJ was playing r&b, funk, hip hop. The food and cocktails were 10/10. I was really disappointed with the service though. My server was super sweet but I had to wait a bit for her to come back by. I actually sat for at least 10-15min initially with no service. She was fast getting me cashed out though. Ha! I understand Fridays are super busy but wanted to leave my honest opinion on my experience. I would try a Friday again,

Visiting from Denver and this place feels like what I'm used to at home. Great atmosphere and the band Serendipity was just perfect 🥰. Our server wasn't very attentive, but all in all, I enjoyed my rime there.

We had A 9 o’clock reservation for a party of three, when we got there, we were seated on the other side of the restaurant which was completely different from the bar area in entrance of the restaurant. The other side was more family free and the music was different as well as the atmosphere. It was like two different restaurants. We were having a girls night and wanted to sit on the more dimly lit side with better music, but we were told that side was full and there were people waiting outside to even be seated inside. That was a little disappointing, but the customer service was awesome, our waiter was great and attentive. The food was good for the most part, my burger was salty, and I let my waiter know that I could not eat it and she spoke to her manager who came over and personally apologize and did not charge me. Drinks were delicious as well, we got an espresso martini in a signature cocktail. I would come back, but maybe on a less busy night so that we could be seated on the more aesthetically pleasing side of the restaurant. The pizza and meatballs were good

I came here for cocktails and this place did not disappoint. The drink menu is EXTENSIVE and all of the one we tried were amazing. Service was quick and effective. Place is a little loud but you can enjoy a conversation on your table without yelling. Only thing is that they do not have prices of drinks in the menu, and they are 20 to 24$ each at least the ones we tried! So bear that in mind, but otherwise definitely recommend!

Going off the reviews I read on Google, I expected more. But all presumptions aside, the staff was friendly, the food was hearty, and the lounge was low-key. Solid lunch spot with great service and quick turnaround. Pizza was decent they’re about $25 each for a 12” pie, easy to share but not mind-blowing. Floppy even if well done. Wings were the highlight, especially with the signature 800 sauce. Great for a casual bite, just a bit pricey for what you get.

Several dishes were just average—not memorable, but passable. However, some dishes were inedible, leaving a particularly bad taste. At the end of the day, food is the most important aspect of a restaurant, and here it simply did not meet expectations. Service The service was very slow, with a much longer wait for the food than anticipated. Additionally, when we requested the sticky table to be cleaned, the waiter came but only wiped it with a dry cloth, which did not solve the issue. This raised concerns about the overall hygiene standards, especially in the kitchen. Cleanliness The hygiene in the restaurant was well below acceptable standards. The sticky table, combined with the unsuccessful attempt to clean it, left us feeling uncomfortable. If this is how the tables in the dining area look, one can only imagine what the kitchen might be like. Health Concerns Sadly, the experience didn’t end at the restaurant. Once I got home, I found myself in and out of the bathroom for hours due to what appeared to be food poisoning. This is not an experience I would wish upon anyone. Price The cost for two diners came to $105, which, for the quality of the food and the overall experience, was simply unacceptable. Conclusion In conclusion, while the price might be considered reasonable, the dining experience was disappointing on all other fronts. The food quality was poor, the service was slow and unprofessional, and cleanliness was lacking. My advice? Look elsewhere for a meal.

This is a great location in Phillip's place connected to 800 degrees wood fired. I had lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere so I brought my wife back. We left not knowing if we had a waiter. I went up to the bar to get my water filled and had to go up again to get the check. I asked the hostess twice if we had a server and left without anyone identifying themselves. The cocktails were delicious but pricey. The pizza was delicious but pricey. I was very sad to have such poor service and hope it was an anomaly. I would recommend choosing Fox-croft, Steak 48, Oak, or one of the many options in the area.
