Have to admit, once in a while I get a jones for a fast food burger. And the Guacamole Bacon Burger at Carl's is about as good as they come. That's my go to. I also get what they now call waffle fries, but until recently called criss cut fries. And a spare patty for my dog, that they always accommodate. Opinions are varied of course. But for me that's the way to go. And all the locations seem to do a good job preparing them. This one being no exception. Plus friendly staff. What's not to like? When you have to scratch that itch, now and again, you gotta go to Carl's.

My western bacon cheeseburger was ridiculously on point. Our hospital cafeteria hasn't quite opened back up yet and once we're inside at work, they really don't want us leaving, if we don't have to. Needless to say, my stomach was eating itself by the time I got to the drive thru. The girl that take my order was super polite and we didn't wait at all for our food. I ate it like the gold it was. I come here multiple times a week as it’s one of the only things open after I get off of work (I work nights). The food is pretty darn good, cheap too. The employees are friendly as well. If you’re looking for some affordable grub, especially later at night, I’d definitely recommend coming to this location!

Overall best Carls Jr. I've ever been to. I order there more than I'd like to admit, but it's hard not to when I know Blanca always takes care of me. She memorized my name and order from my frequent stops and always welcomes me in with a big smile. I don't know all the morning staffs names yet, but I know Blanca, Helen, and Evon always make sure I get what I ordered in a timely manner. Great staff, great location, would recommend. I have yet to be unsatisfied with a visit here, nor do I expect to anytime soon.

Never been inside, only drive thru. Lunch rush from about 11:40 to 12:30 wait can be a little long (up to 10 min in my experience, not too bad). Drive through has been quick outside that time window though

I ordered a large combo meal when I got to the place to pick up my order the drink was a medium. I asked if it could be changed to a large and the employee said not a problem whatsoever. I watched him grab a large cup and fill it up with ice so much That the medium drink would Overflow the large cup, and then he proceeded to charge me another $.75 so that tells me that your medium drinks and large drinks are the same makes no sense. I hope you make this correction.

For what it is: a fast food restaurant, churning out less than gourmet food that isn't particularly good for you, by underpaid employees..this particular restaurant has a couple good things going for it if you're craving Carl's. So, to start, the employees are friendly and service is good here. Second, orders are nearly always correct and food is "fresh" .. by fast food standards.

The manager was really cool, we got some chicken stars and he suggested we get two orders of 6 instead of just one 9 piece which some how was cheaper, overall was pleasantly surprised and satisfied the guy does an awesome job here. Great staff, drive thru is open late, but the food always seems a bit off. Can't put my finger on it. Guessing the burgers sit under the heat lamps a bit to long maybe? IDK, but I'd rather drive further to a different Carl's jr.

Carl's Jr location is not that bad but they are not the basket location to get your roof from I would say expect to wait even if you do not really see a line there The stop there is pretty nice a good thing I have not been inside to see this really clean I usually go to the drive-thru but it's it's fast foods so you can't really expect too much

I think they really should clean the vents in the restroom, although they are probably thinking no one will ever see it because they won't let you use it unless you are a card carrying member of the golden boys and girls club. People that work there are sullen and disgruntled and will take it out on you and your food. Maybe if they cleaned that restaurant people would treat it better. Just saying

The older women are extremely rude and mean to the homeless even when the are customers. Won't let you use the bathroom and if your buying food for multiple people you'll all have to share one package thing of sauce no matter how many meals you've ordered

Had a disappointing experience. Food is usually ok but I ordered a vanilla iced coffee and it seemed to be mostly milk; couldn't taste the coffee or vanilla. It also had chunks of what I believe are Churro bits (because they currently have that shake) it doesn't seem like they put any effort into making it. The Churro shake was pretty good 😋 I also wanted to scan my recepit for the rewards and the cashier didn't seem to understand what I was asking for. My receipt had a QR code for downloading the app but no barcode.... She just kept smiling at me like "Oh well". Anyway, does this location not do rewards? I hope this isn't a common situation for others.

Even when they are clients, the older women treat the homeless with tremendous rudeness and cruelty. won't allow you use the restroom, and regardless of how many meals you've purchased, you'll all have to split a single package of sauce if you're ordering food for several people.

This experience was not great the dining was dirty none of the tables I wanted to sit at were clean. The food was not that good and my drink that I got only had gas no flavor. There was also this lady that worked in the restaurant that was talking to loud. Over all I hope they fix all these things.

Food cold and dry. The rootbeer tasted like it started out as tea. They realized their mistake and filled the rest of the cup with rootbeer. The milkshake must have been sitting for a while. The service was slow, cars backed up, thus cold, dry, old food. Doubt will be going back.

i must have been confused… i thought the drive through at Carl’s Jr. is fast food. However when it came to say I could’ve gone out to me sit down restaurant and pay less for the two cheeseburgers and chicken sandwich and fries then it cost me to go to the drive-through. I couldn’t believe I spent over $40 for three sandwiches in a freaking drive-through to buy myself and 2 kids dinner. Next time I will spend the money on better food…I will go to the Habit and still spend less.

Im the only car in the parking lot. Is this a sign? Over $8. for a chicken sandwich with stale bread and a piece of warm chicken that sat in a warmer for who knows how long. Get real Carl's Jr. I can get a hot chicken sandwich at the Circle K for less than $2. Yes, it's trash...but at trash prices. Do we recall just how hot, the hot food should be once it's prepared? Anyone? You do have Food Certified people there that might...off the top of their head remember the 40 & 140 degrees rule. But that will dry a piece of cooked chicken in less that 30 minutes if you followed the rules. So keep it on a low warmer, it can sit for hours. Time to lock the doors.

I don't know what has happened with Carl's Jr. Their food is ok but, their prices have gone through the roof. Much more expensive than it should be for fast food. For 2/3 the cost, The Habit is a much better choice and everything The Habit serves is FRESH including their salads. The other down side is, Carl's restrooms are pitiful! About the only fast food chain that can't provide clean, decent smelling restrooms and it doesn't seem to matter which location, they're all that way. I used to eat at Carl's almost once a week but now only on rare occasion out of convenience only.

Went in to use a coupon and a gift card that was given to me. I ordered my food, and they honored the coupon, but they told me we do not gift cards, just credit or debit. The soda machine didn't work, the person at the counter did fill my soda.

The service is really bad and the girl at the drive thru barely speaks English and she have Attitude. Onions ring was over fried , drink cup was filled with wrong drink and they charge $1.50 to add jalapeños. Usually Carl’s Jr. have good service but not at this location.

Way overpriced over $15 for a medium soda and a single burger, no fries. The bun was stale, hard and crumbling. Burger apparently was in a warming bin for a long time. I used to like the place, now I avoid it.

They charged me a spicy chicken but did not put it in the bag. If you get a big order, expect them to mess it up. They will charge you but won’t give you your order.

This location is dirty, and under staffed. Last time I was their, I was told to park, and they would bring my food out. After waiting 13 minutes I went I to see what was going on, and they had 3 people to run a early rush. The cashier had to keep going to the back to help, and finally after 22 minutes I received my order. As they prepared my food, 2 other customers had to wait in line with no cashier to give an order to. Shame on the Distric Manager, for allowing a store manager to abuse his employees like that......How can the leadership of this company accept this as the norm? Shame on you!!

Onion Rings were good, burger was absolute garbage!

I guess I got there between food rushes one late afternoon (months ago) because essentially I was served floaters: my burger was served barely warm; my fries were cold and stale from sitting around. All the while the girl behind the counter insisted the food was fresh and was annoyed even as I courteously requested to substitute the fries with onion rings as the fries were inedible. She took her time to get the onion rings order done which were greasy and cold by the time I got them.

I try to avoid this location even close my home. Specally some staff are not friendly at all. 2 time i came here around 5.45 am buy brekfast burrito by drive through both time employee said they run out the eggs. When i ask somthing els also they runout that item to. After that i completely avoid this location and today i have to go there becase pick up food for me and my coworker. I had coupon also i took the coupon for my coworker but employee refuse the use second coupon. I know i cant use 2 coupon but i picking for for my coworker. I hope this employee 100% follow the rule and regulations. But i suggest go to Burger king ( 20838 Devonshire St, Chatsworth, CA 91311)or mcdonald ( 20932 Devonshire St Chatsworth, CA 91311-2312)

This place is consistently inconsistent. I order the same thing all the time and for some reason the price varies. Why tho? When I asked the person at the drive thru, I got some smart ass attitude. And who doesn’t love attitude from unskilled labor? Also, I always order bacon on my burger which they often forget to give me but never forget to charge me for it. Sub par burger with attitude to match! Way to go Carl’s Jr. you nailed it!

Worst Carl's Jr I've been to in a while. Got my meal cold fries real cold. The chicken sandwich was cold and the smallest piece of chicken possible and tough. Mostly bread. And the person I was with ordered a hamburger and it was the size of slider. But the price is high AF Def couldn't pay me to go back. What a rip off

Came this morning at 720 managers have no customer service I ask if any deals they get frustrated no help just attitude. A hurry up and buy attitude even though I waited 5min for anyone to help me also I'm the only customer there. If you have attitude in the morning dont go to work.

Went through drive through at 11:30pm the wait wasn’t the issue I told the cashier 3 times that I wanted a small meal, I get to the window and they have my total around $17 and I go why? He says he has a meal and chicken stars, no I don’t want the chicken stars and comes back with $15 and I ask him is that a small drink? No you said yes to a large, then I tell him I don’t want a large give me a small and proceeds to still charge me a large drink, yea no I told him to give me my money back, they’re trying to scam you here by saying you’ve said things to them that aren’t true

I have come here twice recently and had HORRIBLE service. The first time I walked inside. There was someone waiting at the counter to be helped, but no employees to be seen. They could be heard talking and laughing. I waited a few minutes and when no one came out me and the person in front me of me left. Fast forward a week. I go to the Drive-Thru, the HORRIBLE automated message plays, and I wait for someone to take my order. After several minutes of waiting I drove off. I like the food. Hate the poor service.

Reporting an inappropriate incident. Date: 12.29.2023 Time: 11:35 PM Location: Roscoe and De Soto Ave, Canoga Park, CA Incident: Used the drive through to order shakes for my nieces visiting from Out of town. The night on duty person ,first put us on wait, then when we placed the order, he got it wronged. We repeated a bit loudly thinking the voice was not going through. Guy responded back not to scream, we explained thinking he could not hear. He asked us to come to the window. When we reached, he aggressively said he does not have shakes any more with a few more rants. My young nieces were scared and offended on how rude and aggressive he was. They returned back without the shakes they were craving for all night. I did not want to create an altercation in the presence of the lil ones. He lied to us that the shakes were over and refused to serve. Is that the kind of customer service Carl's Jr has lowered itself to? Is that kind of staff Carl's Jr employs? Is that the corporate training being imparted? I am reaching out because of the attitude, lies, and aggressive behaviour of Carl's Jr associate brought tears to three little girls.

Needs new staff. Anyone can have an off day, but these guys have been off for months now. The food tastes like it's been sitting for hours & then heated in the microwave. Literally. Crunchy flour tortillas on a breakfast burrito shouldn't be a thing. Staff has rotten attitudes & have been flat out RUDE on more than one occasion. The owners seriously need to send a secret shopper in so they can see why this location is losing business. Used to have at least 3-4 cars ahead of me @ the drive-thru here. The last few visits I was the only car. Prime location. Would love to see it back to good food & friendly staff.

I'm going to avoid this Carl's Jr, staff is very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The burger was alright but the fries were very stale. I asked for new fries and they weren't even apologetic, just grabbed the old fries threw them in the trash and gave me fries that were sitting under the heat lamp. They were stale too but I didn't want them to spit in my food so I just let it go. Well go a little farther out for my Carl's Jr fix from now on.

02/25/2026 I had a frustrating experience at Carl’s Jr. tonight around 10:30 PM in the drive-thru. I ordered 9-piece Chicken Stars and a large Sprite. The employee at the intercom had a very thick accent and did not repeat my order back to me, so I couldn’t confirm it. I speak three languages myself, and even then I struggled to understand what he was saying, including the total price. When I got the bag, I noticed I was charged over $12 and saw fries inside. I assumed he might have just made it a meal, so I didn’t question it right away. I waited there briefly, and the employee came back to the window looking bothered. I told him I was missing my large Sprite. He responded, “Large Sprite? You said large fries.” I explained that I ordered a large Sprite and thought he had just upgraded it to a meal since fries were already in the bag. He then told me to give him the bag, took it back, removed the fries after we had already put our hands inside the bag, and handed me a large Sprite filled mostly with ice. I’m honestly concerned about what happened to those fries after they were taken back. I remained polite and said thank you, but the overall interaction felt rude and unprofessional. Between the communication issues, incorrect order, and how the situation was handled, it was not a good experience. I hope management addresses both customer service and food handling standards.

Where do I even start? I live literally 2 blocks down the street from this place, and I absolutely LOVE Carls Jr. I would consider myself a regular of this spot in particular... I work a bar job, so I get off late from work and often there aren't many places open late to eat. Thankfully when I come to this particular Carls Jr on such given late nights there is a young latin dude who usually helps me and is super cool, even hooks up sauces or whatever you need. Lately, I have been coming in a little earlier than usual, and there is an older latin lady who has been helping me.. and I cannot begin to explain how much frustration I experience when dealing with this person.. I pull up to the drive-thru, with my family keep in mind (we are ordering a large amount of food) expecting a quick and easy meal, but what I got instead was a master class in how to not treat customers. The lady at the window acts as if I was interrupting her busy schedule of doing the same thing over and over for the rest of the night. She didn’t say “hello,” “thank you,” or even “here’s your order." I ask her for some ranch, and she slams the window closed as soon as she hands me my order. I then wait a few minutes before she approaches again and ask her for a ranch, she gives me 1 ranch, for a ton of burgers, chicken nuggets, and fries. I ask her for more ranch, she said she doesn't have more ranch, even though we can clearly see she does through the window.. (other times we have gone here ordered 30+$ worth of food and given the same treatment from this same older woman) So then I ask for BBQ sauce, to where she then gives me 1 BBQ sauce. I have 2 daughters, are they suppose to share 1 BBQ sauce between their meals? I swear I love Carls, but I dont think I will be going back just because of how annoying my experiences have been as of late in particular in dealing with this lady. If Blanca is the old latin lady that I saw at the window that everyone else seems to be speaking about, then I guarantee those are fake reviews. There has never been one encounter with this lady where it has been pleasant, where she has a smile, positive energy, or even the attitude of wanting to be working there.. and like I said I consider myself a regular. I can pull my bank statements and Carls Jr will make up a good chunk of change lol. In any case, avoid this location during the day up to around 12 I think, you might get the grumpy old lady who apparently pays for the ranch at carls so she will be stingy.

This is the worst Carls Jr ever came here on June 18th 2024 around 7 pm. I told the girl I wanted the 2 for $6 snack wraps and she gives me chicken sandwiches. I told them the item was wrong and she got an attitude and so did the Mexican guy cook, so I told them to just get me a refund and she ignored me and just kept making the food the cook threw the wraps when he was done preparing them almost falling outta the wrapper. She shoved them in face my even though I told I her I wanted a refund. And she didn't even give me the difference for the overcharge of $5. They could barely speak English.This is the second I came here and my order be wrong and overcharged. They really should get rid of these 2 people.

Two homeless out front begging for money. One of them was blocking the sidewalk. I told the person behind the counter about them. His response was “I know”. He did nothing. When I went to get a drink all three of my choices were not dispensing syrup so I had to drink sparkling water. On the way out I had to step into the parking lot to get around the guy blocking the sidewalk.
