Atmosphere, music, food 10 out 10. Me and my other half always come here when we crave seafood and we spend our valentines day here as well!
Had an amazing experience at The Boiling House! The seafood was absolutely superb—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The seasoning was spot on, and the portions were generous for the price. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better. It's definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers.
Where do I start … This place is simply Amazing! ( Went for my Birthday) From the beautiful seating outdoors, being greeted by friendly hosts, and the FOOD omg ..the crabs were DELICIOUS!! I don’t usually give reviews unless it’s warranted and I must say you won’t be disappointed! The staff were very attentive, nice soulful music while enjoying our meal . All I can say in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice is…( I’ll Be Back )! So Good , go see for yourself 💯
If your looking for a cute spot to eat at and tasty this is it! Go at night time and take pictures outside! Magical! And yes the food is good also
The server dean was so friendly and accommodating. He did really amazing for being the only server on and also acting as the host. The food is amazing and fresh. I will definitely be coming back here!
I came in last night after making a reservation for my wife’s birthday. Our server was Yohan ( hoping I’m spelling his name correctly) and he was an absolutely joy. He was knowledgeable, courteous, kind and made sure we were taken care of. My wife has been eyeing this place for a few months and we drove an hour to get there through the tail end of rush hour and it was worth it. The food was great, the only change I’d make is that the drawn butter lacked any salt or flavor which was fine since the boil had a lot of it. We just poured the butter in the boil and used that to dip the crab in. The music was great, the ambiance was awesome and again the service really stood out. I’ll be telling my seafood loving friends to check it out. Thanks again Yohan and thanks Boiling House for making my wife’s bday dinner special.
I was super excited to try a seafood boil spot that provides more than just boils and fried stuff on the menu. Everything came out in a timely matter and each item had an amazing taste, extremely flavorful! Customer service was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was also very lovely and pretty clean. I would definitely recommend to family and friends, I will be back!
My friends and I took a 40 minute trek to come here and I am so happy it was worth it. When you look at the price for the pots initially, you may be taken aback, but the pricing is actually very reasonable with the amount of food you get. We got the $190 pot and additionally got french fries and garlic noodles; very tasty. The pot we ordered was absolutely delicious- the legs, lobster, clams, and etc. we're cooked to perfection.
We were greeted warmly and seated right away. We were promptly waited on by our wonderful waitress, Paula. She was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We will definitely be going back!

Decided to go here for the alaskan king crabs. Was a bit worried since they were only 48 dollars but definitely got my money worth. The house seasoning was a bit salty for my taste but it was still good. Was also impressed with the garlic noodles. PS. The scissors for opening the crabs is probably the best tool ever.
We absolutely love DeeDee! We were here Friday night for a date night and I decided to come back with my daughter for a mommy and me seafood night! The Boiling House is great! The food is always hot, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection! I refuse to go anywhere else even if I have to drive 45 minutes to get here!!!
We finally made it to The Boiling House of Cherry Hill! What a fabulous experience we had! We were celebrating my husband's 70th birthday and he is a huge seafood lover so the seafood lover meal was right up his alley. We started the meal with fried calamari and wings in sweet chili sauce both of which I forgot to take pictures of. My husband and I shared the seafood lover pot and our friend ordered the salmon. Portions were huge and flavorful. For dessert we shared a cheesecake that was served with a sparkler and a lava cake. Our server, Dean, was amazing! Warm, friendly, helpful and funny. We didn't realize that they are a BYOB and came empty handed. Dean comped us a bottle of rose to help celebrate 💙 We enjoyed the warm welcoming atmosphere and will be returning in the very near future
It was my first time I had got take out and my order was the seafood lovers for two. It was a surprise Mother's day dinner for my wife. She loved it the seafood was fresh and very tasty. Its more than enough for two. But well worth the money. Service was good even for take out. I recommend The Boiling House. For any occasion.
Loved it!! Such a nice relaxing place to go on a Friday night after a long week of stressed out work. The workers were extremely helpful and overly concerned about making sure you have everything you wanted and need. Specially our waiter us girls from our office were out to celebrate my coworkers 10th anniversary there at the office so he was kept on his toes by our group. Haha. Food was absolutely delicious and service was amazingly fast. All around I highly recommend going there. Thank you very much for a great night.
Place phenomenal Seafood fresh Great customer service Atmospheric cozy Happy service & server Place will DEFINITELY not disappoint First time Plenty of parking Costly$$$ Tip your server💸 Definitely will be back Highly recommend
When I tell you I was pleasantly surprised about this little gem. The service was great. Every waiter and worker that brought food to us friendly. I mean EVERY one! This includes the cook's that joined in on our bday singing/celebration. The shrimp tacos are a must! I will definitely be back! Oh and it's BYOB which is awesome! Thank you to all the staff there. I write an abundance of reviews and have ate at many high end restaurants, but this place may rank #1 all around.
We went to this restaurant for our 1st anniversary and it was so good! It’s a small place, with friendly staff, in a nice little shopping center with beautiful garden areas. We ordered the build your own bucket with clams, crawfish, and snow crab legs with potatoes and corn. It was so good we ordered a second bucket with clams and shrimp! We loved the Boiling House sauce so much too! This has instantly become our new spot for seafood.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, The Boiling House is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is lively, welcoming, and full of energy. The menu is packed with flavorful, mouthwatering options that bring a unique twist to seafood and cajun-style cooking. I highly recommend trying the signature “boil” – the shrimp, crab, and crawfish are always fresh, and the seasoning is spot-on. The portion sizes are generous, and the level of spice is adjustable to suit your taste. The house-made dipping sauces are also incredible! The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for both casual meals or a fun group outing. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Boiling House is a top-notch choice that you won’t regret! Can’t wait to come back for another amazing meal! Let me know if you’d like me to adjust anything!
We happened to accidentally find this place on the way to Bobby Chez. And what an amazing surprise. This place was AWESOME. We had such great food. Shrimp tacos, garlic noodles, and clams. This place is 10!!!! I plan on going back everytime I come down to visit.
We went for mother day!!! They had set menu!!! The cheapest bucket was $205 the snow crab bucket!!! We got the sea feast it was $220. It included and appetizer the crab, a pound of shrimp and a pound of either mussels or crawfish. A dessert was included and a bottle of wine. I was super pleased with the amount of food we were given. We took a full pan of seafood home plus some of the wine and the desert!!! I liked the set menu but I’m also considering the fact that some people may not have wanted to spend $300 on dinner. After taxes and an 18% service charge the food came to $294. I think it was an awesome deal but like I said take your cash when you go!!! Lol!!!
Yum! We got the seafood pot for 2 people and I’m stuffed! It was so good. Service was friendly and attentive too!
Really good place if you love seafood, especially for dating. We drove 1 hr to get there, and it was amazing
This place is absolutely a quaint & magnificent experience to be had!!! The Boiling House is such a treat for all ages and any occasion! The atmosphere is sea worthy-clean- and up to date! A fine tuned playlist of easy listening- which allows for waves of positive vibes while dinning. The staff are friendly-prompt && well put together! The food is simply scrumptious with an easy on the pocketbook well versed menu! The quantity-quality-flavorful feast are some not soon forgotten!! If you're looking for a crab crackin- shrimp peelin- lobster lovin memory to be made- I highly recommend making your reservation now to enjoy The Boiling House!! Enjoyed the Sea Lovers for 2! Everything from the garlic noodles- tender juicy- wings- the bucket full of shrimp, mussels, dungeness &snow crab legs- corn and potatoes!! Satisfying till the last bite !!
One of my all time favorite places to take my wife to for date nights. Amazing seafood with a variety of apps to choose from. Lily, one of the managers, took care of us during our most recent visit and it made the experience that much better. 10/10 would recommend
Absolutely amazing seafood! I really appreciated that you could build your own bucket and customize the sauce/seasonings. Everything was steamed to perfection, including the veggies which can easily be overdone and soggy. The only slight negative was that the raw oysters were pretty bland, but that's more of a personal preference (I prefer a higher salinity) so I should've asked before I ordered. This was a birthday dinner and the birthday girl was very impressed!
I came here for my birthday dinner and I had to make sure I have a review the wings was the best wings I ever had garlic noodles were also great, seafood was fresh… food came out super quick, workers were super welcoming and friendly and the area this restaurant is located in is so beautiful at night Even inside was beautiful it was a vibe they even brought out a delicious cake since it was my birthday genuinely hands down my best experience in so so long if your looking for somewhere to go check them out.
The food was sooo good spicy full of flavor! Temperature hot!! Server Dean was super nice and made sure our order was right.
This was my first time, but won't be the last. This hidden gem in Cherry Hill, was great! I was blown away with the Seafood fried rice! This is for Seafood lovers (minus the mussels for me, lol) a variety of crab, shrimp was soooo tasty, and portions were a good size, I had leftovers for sure and that was my appetizer (even though not listed as one) my entree did not disappoint, I had the snow crab and king crab with shrimp OMG yessss so delicious, and flavorful you need your bib and the gloves provided! Our waiter was efficient, making sure we were okay. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant. It's worth the trip!
Seafood boil was the best!! Oysters were so fresh and yummy!! The garlic noodles paired perfectly well with the seafood boil!!
I love this treasure! I almost dont want to review it because I know I'll never get a table again. The quality & flavor on this menu is SUPERFANTASTICALLY AMAZING! I HAD Jason. He was courteous, friendly and efficient. I had friends from out of state & we ordered the SEAFOOD lovers & a few other options. Let me tell you, I could have eaten the paper they served it on!!😍😍😍 If you love red lobster, This is NOT the place for you. This is Real seafood with real cooks! The lemonade is sweet & tasty I diluted it with water all night as its non refillable. Please Go and prepare to be Gobsmacked with flavor!
Yum! We created our own seafood plate with crabs, mussels, crawfish in the boiling house sauce - it was delicious. We also added corn and potato to it. The place has an outside seating area and you can byob. The waiters were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the place. We will definitely be back.
This place was absolutely amazing. It’s tucked away near Toscana and Megu Sushi so you wouldn’t even know it existed. So glad we found it. I’ve been eating fresh seafood for 50 plus years and grew up at the shore and I must tell you that this was the freshest and best seafood I have ever eaten. Ordered the Dungeness crab and mussel pot and added andouille sausage and shrimp and there was was too much seafood for one person to consume. The crab clusters were massive, and the mussels and shrimp were top notch and plentiful. They do not skimp at all. I can’t even imagine how little they charge for an amazing meal with this much seafood. As an aside the manager Dean was a delightful person who personally served us and made sure that we had everything we needed to have a delightful dinner. Brought a giant container home. If I could give this a 6th star I would. We will be there every week. Thanks
The staff here are very friendly, and the food is excellent. While the prices are slightly higher than usual, the quality of service and overall experience make it worthwhile. I’ve noticed it gets quite busy after 5 PM on weekends, so if you’re planning a visit, it’s easier to come earlier when it’s less crowded.
All my girlfriend wanted for her birthday was a seafood boil without having to slurp crab legs in front of strangers. After putting the order in on grubhub, the driver pulled up with a small pizza and garlic knots. Obviously a driver error and not on the restaurant. I called Boiling House to see if my order was still there so I could pick it up myself, and the host who answered the phone (I'm sorry I didn't get your name!) was very polite, even though I probably sounded like a lunatic. When I finally got my order, it was intact and delicious. Thanks to Boiling House for making my girlfriend a damn good dinner, and for treating your weirdest sounding customers with courtesy and respect.
This place was PHENOMENAL!!!! I will definitely be coming back! Tim was so lovely and our server with the pink hair and tattoos was AMAZING! The atmosphere was so close-knit and satisfying. The portions you get here are so worth it and definitely fill up your stomachs!!!! COME HERE IMMEDIATELY!!!!! And to the Boiling House staff and owner, thank you again for taking such great care of my family and I!!!!!
Small place but clean and cozy. It’s BYOB…so that’s a plus! The food was good. The seafood rice was well seasoned with lots of crab, shrimp and lobster! The place packed out fairly quickly, so be sure to make a reservation. If you try to walk in, you may have to wait. Our order was about $165 for a party of 3, so prepare to spend at least $50 per person. We went for my mom’s birthday and she loved it. They played 60s and 70s music - which she enjoyed. The staff were friendly and efficient! So overall it was a good experience. I will be returning.
The fried calamari and seafood fried rice were great. Rating three stars on the food because the build your own bucket was bland. I could taste the water that the broccoli and corn was cooked in as it was more on the soggy side. The garlic butter flavor was good but I’ve had way better seasoned flavor. I would come back and try a different menu item in the future because everything else was good.
We ordered take out and got the Bang Bang tacos, shrimp friend rice, garlic noodles, and seafood combo of Dungeness & Shrimp with the Boiling House Special flavor. Food was tasty.
My friend wanted Dungeness crab 🦀 legs so I decided to take him out for Father’s Day to get some Dungeness crab 🦀 legs. I watched the review from JL Jupiter on YouTube, and various social media posts and thought to myself we need go! This was our first time visiting The Boiling House located in Cherry Hill. We walked in and was immediately greeted by 2 hostess. The place was pretty busy. We ordered the Dungeness Festival at the cost of $155.00 and Seafood Fried Rice at the cost of $24.00. Dungeness Festival 8 FULL clusters of Dungeness Crab, with your choice of 2 add ons which we ordered: (1 dz), Shrimp and (1 lb), Mussel (1 lb). Also includes 2 Ciabatta rolls, 4 corns & 4 potatoes, 1 link of Andouille sausage. I just realized the ciabatta rolls were never delivered with our meal. Ugh, love me some fresh bread! Review: The crabs look beautiful and tasted fresh. It was seasoned perfectly and not overpowering. I could taste the garlic - yum! The size of the crab legs were a nice size. I will say the crabs were not warm which I was a little disappointing. The shrimp 🍤 were large and seasoned well. They were cleaned and had the shell on them along with the tail. Definitely enjoyed. The mussels were seasoned and pretty good as well. The meal looked beautiful in the large bowl! I wish I would have taken more pictures. The food smelled amazing. There was plenty of sauce. The 4 potatoes included are whole red potatoes that aren’t cut in half or quartersu so that was surprising. Seafood Fried Rice A mix of Lobster, Shrimp, King, Dungeness, and Snow crab meat (freshly cut) mixed with veggies, eggs and surrounded by mussels! Review: The seafood rice was good it was filled with lots meat. If you are a rice lover order this with your meal as well. You won’t be disappointed. Server: Our server was alright considering it was a busy holiday. At times he was attentive but a few times I had to grab him several times to bring out cans of soda and ice. The last soda can was hot because it was literally taken out of the package in front is and put on the table with no additional ice. We need to ask for more napkins. I really wanted a lava dessert to go but the server didn’t recommend because it came with ice cream and he felt it wouldn’t travel well. Overall, we had a good dinner on Sunday night. I will be back and would recommend this place for a cute date night or family outing. I would not wear anything too nice because it can be little messy even though cuts little bibs are supplied. They have a cute little outside area to eat with lots of table. They place really good music and the playoffs game was on which was great. This place is BYOB which I love! Bring your wine, beer or liquor! The food is fresh and you can pick your choice of seasoning!
This was my first time dining here...The seafood was seasoned tastefully... I would have preferred it be served a bit hotter than what it was...What makes this seafood restaurant stand out from the others I have dined at is the customer service and atmosphere....The entire staff seemed upbeat and friendly, the music selection played was nice and a very good mix(60s, 70s & 80s)!...Birthday celebrations were lively and upbeat (Stevie Wonder)....Our server, Shelby, was attentive and extremely accommodating🤗! In a nutshell, this restaurant is a combination of Joe's Crab Shack (seafood in a bucket) & Shake Seafood (BYOB).... Thank You Shelby for the Lovely Desert😊!
Once again, the food was delicious! They accommodated our party of 10. Waiter was very nice and attentive. I ordered a customized platter with snow crabs, mussels and shrimp with the head off with the "Boiling House" flavor (garlic butter, lemon pepper and Cajun). My only complaint was that they brought out the orders of garlic noodles, seafood rice, wing platter and fried shrimp platter waaay before they brought out the orders of fresh seafood, that some of the party were finished eating before we even got our food. They had to wait for us to finish. That's the reason for the four stars.
We went to the Boiling house after a long day of work on a Thursday evening. It was a nice crowd there, the music was really great, they didn't have a big selection for the people that don't eat shell fish, it was pricey but overall it was a good time. I may return.
Everything was fine for a busy Mother's Day. The food tasted great and cooked perfectly. The only thing was that our waiter did forget or the kitchen forgot to put the whole order together. Like they forgot the add on sausage but a few minutes later brought it out and that was delicious. Also, he forgot a lemonade but did take it off the bill. The place is tiny for this upscale/tastier version of Joe's Crab Shack. With all the entrees it was hard to find placement for things. Overall probably a great place to eat with a date or close friends.
Nice place. Service was great. My daughter and I got the crabs & I got the boiling house sauce which was too heavy and didn’t taste as good as I expected it to… My daughter and I both got sick after leaving so not sure if it was something with the crabs or maybe we somehow both caught a stomach bug but we were sick for 2 days…. I noticed on the table there was an offering for a free desert or lemonade if you gave a 5 star review so hopefully most of the reviews are accurate and not just 5 stars for the desert…. Overall the salad, rice dish & bread were good as well as the service.
We got the $99 boil for 2 with sausage & white rice. The waiter did not shake up the bag and unbag the seafood boil. The sauce was thin but flavorful, very minimal though. The rice was hard and old, like it had been sitting out for at least a day, very disappointing. The Dungeness crab was old and very chewy. Shrimp was overcooked. Corn was flavorless.
Food was underwhelming. Price was high for the experience 300 for 5 people not bad if food is worth it. But the staff was amazing.
I’ve had way better. Crabs over cooked, the $180 the snow crab fest didn’t have a great taste, my crabs taste way better and you only get one over cooked sausage for $180. You get more chips than calamari. Clean place but I won’t be returning, we weren’t satisfied something was majorly off for $300 and service was just ok.
I had high expectations for this place!!!! I dont know if it was because I went an hour before closing but the food was not what I expected. The only thing I enjoyed were the garlic noodles! The seafood boil bag was not flavorful ato all, I seen the seasoning but it still did not have flavor. The lobster was chewy. Don't go late and get the flavor seasoning spicy.
Today, I ordered from here and it was nothing like I remembered. To start, the shrimp was incredibly bland, as was the corn and potatoes. In fact, when we opened up the platter, I thought the sides were put in by accident. I mean there wasn't a speck on the corn and the potatoes. The french fries were not fully done, but had a smidge more flavor than anything else. Also, I had to order two platters per person to get the amount of shrimp we wanted, as they didnt have many flexible ordering options.
