Love this place. Chimichurri steak is amazing. Ribs are excellent. Great place if you want good southern style food 😋💗
Came in for lunch. Party of four. We all ordered BBQ accept for one member. Chose to go with a Burger. We were all amazed at the size and how well this Burger was put together. So if you in the mood for a Burger. Stop by, you won't be disappointed. All other BBQ was so good and never disappoints.
Lucilles delicious as always. Very busy location but aren't they all. Still it's worth the wait
My wife, eldest daughter, son in law, and both grandsons stopped in for a late dinner. We had a blast.
It had been a while since my family and I had some Lucille's bbq so we decided to head over for lunch an a cozy Sunday afternoon, the service was great as always and the food was so very delicious, my favorite this time around werr the St Louis ribs and the jalapeño cheddar sausage and I can't forget the biscuits and pink lemonade.
Have visited location several times picking up customer orders. Up to now I had never returned on personal time. However, I joined a family get together and birthday celebration this past Sunday, March 24th at Lucille's Smokehouse Barbeque. -Busy location -Clean -Ample indoor/enclosed patio seating -Pleasant staff -Ample parking -Wide selection of food Items, sides, desserts and drinks (alcoholic/non alcoholic We ordered the Family Supper with the following items: -St. Louis Ribs -Alabama Chicken (Classic) -Sausages (Don't recall type of sausage ordered) -Potato Salad -Coleslaw -Macaroni & Cheese -Lemonade Good size portions. Great presentation. Everything was very well prepared. Ribs and Chicken were delicious. Highly recommend! I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as good. Great location for families with or without children, couples or group gatherings. Expect to return in the future.

Ordered beef brisket but most meat had more fat than meat. Aside from that sauces are awesome.
Good food, good atmosphere, good service! My experience here was great. Came with my husband and brother-in-law and really enjoyed our dinner. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection! Our server was attentive and really polite. We made a reservation ahead of time since we went on a Friday night and got seated promptly. I strongly recommend making reservations ahead of time, by the time we left there was quite a substantial amount of people waiting to be seated!
We ordered full rack St.Louis ribs with two side dishes, Southern fried chicken, and New Orleans Gumbo for lunch on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was about 1/3 full and we were seated right away. The St. Louis ribs were fall-off the bone tender and p! CFried chicken breast was moist and delicious. Gumbo was a bit salty but flavorful with a lot of shrimp. Freshly baked biscuits with apple butter were warm and fluffy; delicious! The server was very attentive, patience, and very friendly.
I've been to Lucille's several times now.... Fabulous bar b que. Great service, convenient parking, great food. I've tried several menu items and always been happy with the quality and flavor. The portions are huge, so you won't go away hungry. Lucille's is currently open for dining and have lots of seating...
Smelled so good walking into this restaurant which was a great indication of how tasty the food was going to be. And that it was. Delicious, served quicker than I anticipated, and the waitress was wonderful & accommodating (Extremely helpful with making suggestions as this was my first time dining here). Awesome hospitality equally as good as the food. BBQ sauces which ranged from regular, hot, and Memphis style were excellent. The Angus Beef Tri Tips were sliced thin. The beef was very tender. Comes in 7 oz or 10 oz portions. Ordered the 10 oz portion and left with some tasty leftovers for the next day. Well worth the money, I will definitely return to try something else from their menu.
Glad to have this location exists! I have been to many of their other locations, but finally was able to give a review based on the ease of ordering and picking up at this location. Throughout the pandemic it was interesting to see that they converted part of the parking lot to an outdoor dining, and with the Yelp paying integration, it was so easy! The only thing about this franchise is that it typically can be pretty expensive. It’s always good to note that they have gift cards you can buy from like Costco, or at this time, if you have American Express, you get $10 back from purchases over $50. Food Me and my family ended up ordering the “Easy Feast” and it is just as easy as it sounds. It came with : Beef Brisket Saint Louis Ribs 4 pint sides (we got 2 Mac and cheese, mashed potato, and cole slaw) Delicious biscuits and apple butter!! Multiple different dipping sauces! All the food was just as good as if you ate in, I wished I ordered their famous strawberry lemonade. The only side I was a bit disappointed in was the cole slaw, as for some reason this batch tasted a bit watered down. Need to save up before I visit again. Until next time !
Five of us went to celebrate our friend's Birthday Dinner. #1. Our server Marcus was absolutely amazing. His knowledge of the menu and suggestions was a great help to all of us. He was on the ball, making sure to anticipate our every need and happily brought extras needs. Ask for Marcus for great service. #2. The food was just absolutely delicious. It's been a long time since all 5 of us were completely very happy with each one of our meals. We ordered a couple of Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Jambalaya and the 3 Course Combo for Two (that's a really good $ deal). The combo was more than enough for two. All were good size portions. Desserts we ordered the Snickers Ice Cream Pie, Beignet and Peach Cobbler. Yummy! Also a Birthday Brownie & ice Cream. Yum! & Coffee.
Fantastic food, employees, and a cool atmosphere. Definitely go again. Love the full size Mason jars for water cups.
We only went to Lucille's because there was a long line at the Soup n Fresh and we weren't disappointed! We ordered the Southern Favorites appetizer plate to start, which had fried pickles, onion strings, fried cheese, sausage, chips and dip - most of it was excellent (I'm not a fan of fried pickles). For the main meal we ordered the combo special for four, two meats (chicken, ribs) and four sides - it was truly generous with large bowls for the sides (most places serve small bowls). Our meal came with delicious biscuits which were on the sweet side. Note they specialize in southern style bbq so the standard sauce is sweet tomato based, but they also have Memphis style (vinegar based) and hot sauces on the table. I enjoyed most everything and thought we got a good deal for the money (had plenty of leftovers for our 3 adults, one kid). I liked that they serve their sodas and teas in huge mugs. Excellent service too.
Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ – Chino Hills Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ in Chino Hills is consistently a great place for comfort food and a relaxed dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that classic Southern BBQ vibe that makes it perfect for family dinners or casual outings with friends. The food is always satisfying—tender ribs, flavorful pulled pork, and well-seasoned brisket that’s cooked just right. Their sides deserve special mention too: the mac and cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans pair perfectly with the BBQ and feel homemade rather than generic. Portions are generous, so you definitely leave full. What really elevates the experience is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, even during busy hours. Orders come out on time, and they’re always happy to check in or make recommendations. Overall, Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ in Chino Hills is a reliable go-to for hearty BBQ, good service, and a comfortable environment. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving classic American barbecue
Lucille's is a great barbecue place with wonderful food and good atmosphere. I give it a five Star All around. Also I love the hot towels they give you at the end to clean yourself up 😉 Lucille's is our go-to barbecue place. My husband and I share the three course meal for two that includes an appetizer or two dinner salads. You get to choose three meats with two sides included and then at the end you can share a desert which is also very good. All for around 60$ not including drinks of course.
Lucille’s is always a solid go-to for BBQ, and this location never disappoints. We’ve been here several times, and the experience is consistently great. We recently stopped by for their lunch specials which was delicious, well-priced, and now definitely on our list of regular lunch spots for the family. The team here is always on point, checking in often, keeping drinks filled, and making sure we have everything we need. It’s also a great place to host events, with a warm atmosphere and attentive service. If you haven’t been, it’s a must-try!
Haven't been back to this place for a long time, as we usually go to the one in Plaza West Covina nowadays. Compared with Lucille's Brea and West Covina places, the Chino hills one provides way more dining area. Ordered appetizer/ burnt end and Three -course meal for two. All tasted delicious, though I wish they were served hotter. Service is great. All in all, we had a great time here.
Great service and good food. I celebrated my birthday here this year and I had the nachos with brisket and it was delicious. I couldn't eat all of it, so it made a really good lunch for the next day. The chips were just a little soggy, though. My husband had a two item combo and loved it he had chicken and ribs. I love their iced tea, and he had the watermelon tea, I believe. It's very delicious, and of course, the biscuits and honey buddy are to die for.. literally the calories OMG🤣😋
Friendly staff, great service! Delicious food... We ordered some we Family platter, there was 6 of us and so mutch left over food! Okay we did have too many appetizers, but everything was delicious! This place gets busy, we didn't make reservations and it was busy for a Monday night! Get there early or make reservations.

Don’t hate me but I’m not much of a meat eater anymore. My dad was the grill guy and trying everything he BBQed was just good times and better memories. So 10 years ago when he passed away so did the taste for beef. But my family knows some good meat and they were all smiles talking about the brisket, the tri-tip and ribs just to name a few. What I was surprised by was the sides. I was expecting mediocre sides think all the attention was on the meat. Boy was I wrong! Garlic mashed potatoes, BBQ beans, and my personal favorite coleslaw and biscuits that looked like they were a pastry. Hey and the best staff I’ve ever been privileged to be waited on by. I’m talking about staff looking for people to help. Want more awesome iced tea? As soon as you look around for someone to get you a refill , they are asking you what they could help you with. And they take that huge beautiful Ball jar and rush off. And the best part is they don’t forget about you and come back with the right refill for the right person. It’s good stuff in a happy environment.
I fully expected to have to wait a while to be seated due to the large crowd inside, but was pleasantly surprised when we were promptly seated, all seven of us! The wait staff was pleasant and patient as we poured over all the mouth watering items in the menu. I decided to have the "Lucille's Special" of a full rack of baby back ribs and two sides, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes... my eyes were bigger than my stomach and was unable to finish the deliciously charred and tender ribs. It was good stuff and highly recommend this place. It was a little slow with getting our food out, but come with friends and conversation and you won't notice it too much.
Food was good. Not Southern smokehouse good, but good for location it was in. Atmosphere was excellent. Not busy at all for time of day (lunch)
Great location. It’s always a long wait but worth it. 95% of the time food is amazing. Sometimes there is some hiccups but it’s okay. All waiters I’ve had have been pleasant and attentive to our needs. My favorite items on the menu are the deep fried pickles, southern fried chicken and the biscuits with the apple butter. Chicken sandwiches are too spicy for me and I can tolerate spicy but this was ridiculous spicy I would not recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken sándwich to any one who can’t tolerate habanero spice because it’s crazy spicy. Over all great service compared to most franchise restaurants.
We went on Father's Day (6/15), we make a reservation waited for about 15 minutes but the wait for the food to come took 45 minutes. It was packed so we opted for the first available table, sit enclosed outdoor with NO AC on a high 90° outside temperature. We order the briskets, baby back ribs, beef ribs, pull pork. Side dishes were ; fried okra, mash potatoes, Mac and cheese. All good.
The food was better than expected. Definitely not a choice for my dining but was forced to go with family 🤦♂️
Good food. Nice location. We had the brisket and gumbo, With mac n cheese as a side. The bread and butter was very good for starters. Nothing was amazing, but all was decent. We went during lunch, we luckily beat the lunch rush and it wasn't that crowded at 1130a. We ate in the bar area. This is the chino/Chino hills location off of the 71.
Awesome flavor. They need more staff up front to help with customer service, I waited in my vehicle for 30 minutes expecting my order to be brought curbside as the app said but it just sat on a table until I came in and got it off the table. Tried calling while waiting but the phone just rang off the hook. Also my tri-tip was overcooked and dry. Despite the issues flavor of all my food was good.
This place gave some pretty good barbecue. I recommend the three meat combo with the jalapeño cheddar sausage and the baby back ribs but not really the brisket. Somehow the brisket I got was really dry and cold. It didn’t have much flavor nor season on either. However, the biscuits that they give for free were really fluffy and delicious
We had a wonderful lunch after a short 5 minute wait. We were seated at a large table - it was a little chilly with the AC and loud in this dining area once it got busier. Service was great and the food was yummy. I had the nachos but they weren’t my favorite (unsalted chips, small portion of pulled pork). Tri Tip appetizer was mostly bones. We had the wonderful warm biscuits with honey butter. M-F lunch menu is more affordable than regular menu.
Food was good. I've had better tasting BBQ, but i guess it is a matter of perception and taste. Brisket was OK. A bit on the greasy side. Tri Tip was actually better tasting. Coleslaw was OK and brisket Mac and cheese was a bit dry. Best part was the Peach Palmer which is a half and half peach tea and lemonade. It was great. Service is great. Very attentive and friendly staff. The place is clean with good decor. Nice family ambiance. Easy access from the 71 freeway. Good parking area. I would come back to try other items.
Last night, my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que in Chino Hills, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The service was impeccable! Our server greeted us with genuine smiles and a wealth of knowledge about the menu, guiding us through their mouthwatering offerings. We felt like valued guests rather than just customers, which made our experience all the more special. Now, onto the food – oh, the food! Every dish we ordered was a celebration of flavors. The ribs were tender and succulent, with a smoky glaze that left us craving more. The pulled pork was so flavorful, it practically melted in our mouths. And let’s not forget the sides! The mac and cheese was creamy perfection, and the cornbread? Pure bliss! What truly stood out was the attention to detail. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the portions were generous, making it easy to share and savor every bite together. As we finished our meal, we couldn’t resist trying their signature desserts. The banana pudding was a delightful end to our culinary adventure – light, sweet, and utterly satisfying! Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place where love for food and hospitality intertwine. We left with full bellies and happy hearts, eager to return and explore more of their delectable menu. If you’re in Chino Hills and seeking an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Lucille’s. We can’t wait to return! Thank you, Lucille’s, for a wonderful evening!

Went to Lucille’s yesterday, not really impressed. Garlic mashed potatoes were dry like it had been sitting there for a while and ordered a salad 🥗 which used to be a pretty good serving but for $6 dollars it was very small so disappointing. I don’t see myself going there unless I get a gift certificate or something. I understand that prices are going to go up but DONT skimp on quality. Sooo sad probably won’t be eating again.
I'm from Texas so take this with a grain of salt. I was not impressed with the barbecue (we got baby back ribs, brisket, and burnt ends plus other non-barbecue items) nor the gumbo and the biscuits (sweet biscuits). If you have no idea nor palate for Texas-Louisiana fare, then you might like their food. The ambiance and the service were great (they did a great portrayal of a vintage southern home) and they have a great bar selection.
I judge every BBQ place by their brisket, and I was rather disappointed. The serving I got was pretty dry and didn’t have good flavor, even when compared to other chain restaurant BBQ places like Dicky’s. Maybe I was just there on an off day. They should really separate their lunch and dinner menus so you don’t realize you are paying substantially more money for the exact same plate during dinner. They do have good sauces here though and I liked the macaroni and cheese.
It's hit and miss, we tried it for father's day (my wife surprised me with a reservation after work) our reservation was for 830 we got our food around 915 920ish. The kids food was good, my wife's chicken was a touch on the dry side but totally edible. I ordered burnt ends and brisket. The brisket was definitely overdone and tasted hard, the burnt ends were that gooey fatty part for the majority of them I didn't eat. The mash potatoes and seasoned veggie were good a touch cool but not freezing. I'd recommend coming in at an earlier time bc it seemed that we got the end portions of their fathers day menu which I was disheartened to know they didn't have the full menu available. Avoid holidays is my best advice and get an earlier reservation. I worked that day so we got that 830 slot and it was already closing by the time we left at 10ish.
Half chicken cooked nicely 10/10. I love memphis sauce. Devilled eggs on salty side, mac n cheese reminded me of stoufers microwave mac n cheese. Mediocre. Overcooked, flavorless. Received good service I liked how they had brewery x selections.
I ordered the ribs with corn bread pudding and okra which is not pictured. They give you two biscuits. The food was good however, I was a little disappointed that it didn't have that barbecue mesquite smoked flavor that I was expecting on meat. It tasted more liked oven baked meat instead. But it's a fine place to go if you're in a mood for barbecue.
American BBQ chain restaurant. Came here for a private event and we had catering from the restaurant. The mac and cheese as well as the ribs are tasty. They do have veggies but the restaurant is going to be primarily for meat-eaters. Free parking available in the lot. They give you complimentary cornbread with apple butter. The drink sizes are really large, and they have a nice sweet tea. Credit cards accepted. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It’s not the best BBQ you’ll have, but the portions are large and it’s family-friendly. Plus, I did appreciate how on top the servers were of everything, although note that they did have 2 hour limit for the private event that they strictly adhere to.
Lucille's is all about the BBQ, but we opted to try something other than the BBQ and left feeling uninspired. Between the three of us, we ordered the fried chicken with gravy, chimichurri steak, and the jambalaya. The food was served hot and portions were sizable, and while each dish was fine, we all agreed it was average. Aside from not ordering the BBQ, the atmosphere was good, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean.
The place was super busy during the pumpkin patch county Fair type deal going on across the street. Our waiter was more interested with schmoozing about the liquor menu when I ordered a mixed drink then our actual order. He completely blanked on our appetizer. He came by like three or four times saying my drink was coming. Then other people brought my drink and brought our food and later he came back and I don't know if he forgot about the appetizer or he was trying to test us. If we were going to say hey where is it because he came back and asked how everything was and then like a few minutes later came back and asked. Are you sure everything's good? I said fine and I went to pay on the little tablet they have on the table and the appetizer was not listed. I know he took it down because we had a discussion about what exactly was on it and we both at the table said it sounded good Still wondering what it would taste like. We earlier tried to flag down an employee and say we didn't get our appetizer and needed a drink refill and the girl spoke not a lick of English which wasn't the irritating part. The irritating part was she didn't bother to tell any of her co-workers that somebody needed help.
So we went in for the $100 deal for a party of four and the staff was very attentive even though we went on a Friday night relatively late. The food was decent the standouts for me were the coleslaw the pulled pork and of course the biscuits, I mean you have to have more biscuits and butter don't we? If I were you I would steer away from the sweet tea as it's really not that sweet But I have a slight leaning towards drinking it in the south where it's very sweet. I might steer towards the strawberry lemonade next round. The grilled vegetables left a bit to be desired could use some seasoning of some sort or a dip maybe. The garlic mash were decent and tasted like it was homemade.
We flew from Seattle to enjoy some Beef Ribs and they were very dry. They tried 2 more times and both times they were dry so we gave up on the ribs and had them take them off the bill, which they did. However the sides were worth going to. We enjoyed the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, Collard Greens, Macaroni and Cheese, Potato Salad. But the Watermelon needed to be more ripe and the French Fries were soggy. The Bread and Apple Butter was good too.

The barbeque here is average. I will eat here again for sure. It's a little overpriced for what you get, a lot of sides, but not much meat. The biscuits are what makes this place worthwhile.
Ordered eats as I have just had surgery and cannot leave my house. Ordered the beef ribs. The sides were good but the beef ribs were not thoroughly cooked at all. They were right in the middle and if I had ordered a medium rare steak then I would have been happy. But I couldn't even gnaw half of the meat off of the bones because they were not completely cooked properly
Dinner, ordered pull pork sandwich was barely ok, portion was lacking, side potato salad, had better from market, after dinner, not a good feeling, over priced, will not return🥴
I came in with my family. We all ordered the chimichurri steak. We all didn’t get our orders correct plus our food wasn’t hot. They forgot my husbands Mac and cheese, and my dad ordered his appetizer with shrimp and it arrived without. I ordered my steak medium and got it medium well, my husband ordered his medium rare and got his medium well, and our steak was barely warm when it arrived. Our Mac and mashed potatoes tastes reheated as well. Didn’t have a good experience with the food. And towards the end A waitress was confused and was bringing us orders that weren’t ours.
Food was cold. Brisket and ribs had way too much fat. Portions were small. Husband's drink was the only decent thing!
The food was cold. So much so, that the BBQ sauce on my ribs appeared to be a paste more than a sauce. Staff was friendly but not more than any other restaurant. Staff were discussing the incident with Charlie K and laughing about the situation. Poor taste and quite disturbing in fact. To each their own, but cold food is not for me.
This was stop number 287 on my nationwide BBQ tour. I have visited the top rated BBQ restaurants every state during my travels over the last ten years. This is a really nice, big restaurant with a good BBQ atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and the service was super quick. Mostly my rating comes from the food. I ate an early dinner there at 5:30 and it really seemed like the meat that I was served had been resting under warming lamps since Lunch time. I went with the three meat combo with Beef ribs which were over trimmed and conservatively speaking 90%bone and only a few leathery scraps of meat clinging to the sides. The baby back ribs were flavorful but a bit on the dry side. And the pulled pork had its greases rendered into a pool of oil under the meat which is a strong indication that it has been on the warmer far too long. They have a great product with fantastic flavor but they have a severe deficiency when it comes to maintaining the quality of their food after its preparation. It seems like you would do better to be in the door first thing for an early lunch in order to experience the full potential of what they make here. If you, like me, are unfortunate enough to be served with the reheated leftovers then you will be sorely disappointed.
Waiter had to be reminder to bring drinks and bisects. Food came out cold, chicken lacked proper cooking and flavor. Brisket was a big disappointment. The bbq sauce saved our meal. If you want bad bbq with equal service for your money this is your place. many other choices in the area where you get a hot meal with service. Substandard Lucille’s location
Went here for the first time. This is just my opinion but, I wasn’t a fan. The tri tip was kinda overcooked and kinda dry. I will give them credit tho for their whipped butter (the butter was good). I know some people like it but I’m just not a huge guy on barbecue. Also the food was very expensive. Overall, I don’t think I would come back if I want like a steak. I rather make one at home.
It was nice knowing you Lucille's. I love your biscuits, and have for the last 20 plus years. But, I just can't reason spending $60 for a drink, some buscuits, 5 baby back ribs, 3 slices of room temperature "brisket" and half descent pork belly burt ends. When this all began, this experience was about half this price. Not to mention the rations were greater, and the food quality was better. I will cherish our time.

Went to Lucille's to celebrate with my wife and daughter. Our drinks and app came out fine but after 45 minutes we noticed everyone who came in after us was getting their food. After over an hour w…
I visited the Lucille's in chino hills today on New Year's Eve early afternoon and it was the worst experience I've had not enough server's no biscuits, we're ready till after we finished are horrible gumbo with leg meat, the gumbo was not fresh at all was served warm, absolutely the worst service ever, and the restaurant was not even packed, they need to train there staff, especially with those high prices.
My family ordered Lucille's Thanksgiving dinner feast. We were greatly disappointed. To us, it felt like false advertisement. When my dad picked it up he thought the tray was going to be a little bit more full than what was actually given to us as shown in the picture. "Feeds 6 or more" feels like feeds 2-4. For $165 plus tax so about $180 is a rip-off. Will never order again. It just so happens that our oven is broken and our landlord won't fix it. We're thankful for the meal nonetheless, but just a bit disheartened that that is how the family feast dinner treats a family. Happy Thanksgiving to all~
I had a disappointing experience at Lucille's Smokehouse today. Upon arriving, we stood in front of the host desk for an uncomfortably long time, despite the restaurant being far from busy. At least three waitresses were nearby, but no one greeted us or acknowledged our presence. After waiting longer than reasonable, I had to ask to be seated. When we finally got a table, it was noticeably dirty, which didn’t set a good tone. The service didn’t improve from there. After sitting down and finishing the menu, our waitress still hadn’t appeared. Once again, I had to flag someone down just to place our order. As for the food, the brisket was a letdown—fatty, dry, and served in a surprisingly small portion for a smokehouse known for hearty barbecue. Overall, the slow service, lack of attentiveness, and underwhelming food made this a meal to forget. I expected better from Lucille's.
Food tastes like bland unseasoned meat… the bbq is boiled.. it does not taste good.. you’d be better off licking the inside of a lays bbq bag then coming here… highly disappointed… diners dives n drives really missed on this one.. I almost feel they where paid off.. I visited from California and it was horrible.. the waiters are not friendly… the tables where also sticky.. the bbq was horrible.. I’d stay away.. many other good bbq places in Cincinnati,..
Horrible the food is not even cooked on a grill. No smoke coming out of the top of the building. My bbq, food was cold mashed potatoes.Cold didn't like my BBQ, & .Waiter couldn't be found, never coming back.
My cousin Louie Pons waited 2 hours for his order placed early in the morning to find out it wasn't ready! No apologies nor anything to make up for the mishap.
I ordered a steak medium but it came out well done. It took at least 20 minutes, and I was running out of time. 10 minutes later they served me another steak but this time it needed a veterinarian. It was raw! Don't order the steak here! They served it floating in grease!. Check out the photo! Is that cooked medium?
Went for dinner on Thanksgiving. On my first beer mug I found a little crumb towards the last gulp. I didn’t think much of it and thought maybe I had a piece of food stuck on my lips and it fell in while I took a zip. But, towards the 2nd mug I found a bunch of food crumbs inside and on the rim. I knew it couldn’t have been from me, since I hadn’t eaten anything while I drank it. I didn’t even finish my beer. They should really check on the cups/mugs after they’ve been clean just in case there’s food stuck inside it.
I had a very disappointing experience. The food arrived cold, and the mashed potatoes had an odd, unpleasant taste. The chicken had a foul odor and tasted off—we ended up returning it. Unfortunately, We got really sick afterward, which makes me question the food safety practices here. Definitely not returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It is sad because we used to love coming here. Not anymore
10/10 service! However, the food needs a lot of work. Was looking forward to some BBQ but it just was not good.
I'm not sure which location I was at. We were close to Ontario CA. My brisket was gelatinous fat and my friends was nice firm meat. I asked for them to bring me actual meat and I received more gelatinous fat. It was not edible. It was disgusting. The potato salad was dry and tasteless. I wouldn't have tipped if I was by myself. The okra was good.
$180 for this meal. For starters it was stone cold which I didn’t read that we had to cook it and it wasn’t ready to serve. Our oven broke so obviously cooking it was out of the question. My parents used to get this meal every year and it always came ready to serve in tray, included salad and apples as well. Never once was it served in small containers and cold. Why would I pay triple the money it would cost to cook my own dinner if I still had to cook it? But because our oven broke about a week ago, we had no other choice and seeing what my parents got before, I had high hopes we would be satisfied. what makes it worse, some of the containers were only half full. We had 6 people to feed, at most, this would feed 3 people except maybe the turkey which wasn’t even the turkey we ordered. We ordered for it to be cut up. We ended up calling to return and get a refund letting them know our oven was broken and we couldn’t even cook it. They ended up giving us 6 individual turkey dinners which in my opinion ended up being more food than what was in the containers. Our dinner rolls however were rock solid and crumbled like crazy the minute we tried to pull them apart so we couldn’t even eat those. Never again will we order thanksgiving dinner from here. Very disappointing and a huge rip off!!! For the amount of food we were given in each container we could have gotten it all for less than 30 dollars.
Waste of money, brisket & tri-tip was overcooked, cut way too thin, had no flavor and dry. Not even smothering it in bbq sauce helped. Baby back ribs were way too fatty an even with all that fat the meat was dry and had no flavor. Mac & cheese tasted like stouffer’s, all you could taste in the beans were bell peppers, french fries were oily and flappy, tater salad was the only food that actually had more than one flavor. Food was barely warm, portions way too small and my tray had a spider hanging off of it which landed on our table, the server did not even care when I pointed it out, he just walked away, my husband had to kill it. Never recommending or going back.
Worse experience in all the dining out I've done. Customer service is so bad. It took over an hour to get our drinks and they didn't even all come at the same time. We were ignored due to the high volume of customers. All four of us had an issue with the meals....too over cooked or wrong order. They all arrived at different times. To get any service or help we had to get up and go seek someone for assistance. They would apologize and still not improve on any of our issues. The bill arrived and was completely incorrect. Once again to get it corrected and to try and pay we had to go seek someone out. It was the worst experience ever. I had been there a couple times before and always had some kind of problem but this was horrible. This location is no good. Go to another location because chino hills is the worst.
We waiting about a hour patiently for our food and the waitress keep apologizing. Then our food came and everything was cold brisket was cold and tuff everything,l.The only thing we enjoyed were the biscuits. She kept the waitress kept apologizing and then sent the manager over and he made it right our bill was almost $200 never again. of course we still left the waitress or tip it wasn't her fault.
We placed a catering order totaling $338 at Lucille’s Chino Hills on December 22, 2005, with a scheduled pickup time of 11:15 AM, carefully planned so our team could enjoy lunch during our 12:00–1:00 PM break for our Sales & Marketing Department Christmas Party. Our representative arrived exactly at 11:15 AM. No one greeted him. No one acknowledged him. He stood there waiting until, after some time, a staff member finally approached him, only to say the food would take another 15–20 minutes. There were no updates, no explanations, and no sense of urgency. After an entire hour had passed, the food was still nowhere to be found. Our representative had to personally search for the manager, eventually finding him at the bar area. The manager said he would check on the order and provide an update - but never returned. At 12:55 PM, after 1 hour and 40 minutes of waiting, the food was finally handed over. Not only was it extremely late, it was also incomplete - there were no plates or cutlery, forcing our representative to check the order himself and request what should have been included from the start. While all this was happening, our team back at the office repeatedly called the store to follow up. Instead of reassurance or accountability, we were told that we “might want to just cancel the order.” Cancel it? After nearly two hours of waiting, with an entire team sitting hungry and frustrated? There was no compensation, not even a token gesture such as a $5 gift card, and barely an apology - certainly not one that felt sincere. By the time the food arrived, our lunch break was over. What was supposed to be a joyful Christmas celebration turned into stress and disappointment. We literally had to talked with management to allow us just 15 extra minutes so we could at least eat the food we had waited so long for. This experience completely ruined our department’s Christmas party. Your food is not inexpensive, and with that pricing comes an expectation of service that matches the quality you promote. Unfortunately, on this day, YOU FAILED US! not just in service, but in basic courtesy, accountability, and respect for your customers’ time. This was deeply disappointing, and the lack of genuine apology only made it worse.
The worst customer service EVER! Waited 30+ min for a (Salad) take out that I ordered via the app. I asked the greater who was jaw jacking up front with three other servers for help, and she said "We don't handle takeout!" When I finally received my order, the food quality was so off putting, my wife would not eat it. We ended up at FARMER BOYS with the same chicken salad that was 10x's the quality. "KUDOS to Farmer Boys". Lucilles do better! You're charging $20 dollars for a salad!
It's been a while since we had ate here but recently got a gift card so we decided to use it today. We ordered the BBQ Feast For Two which we had in the past like I said tho is been a while and defenetly food portion has gone down for the price not worth it. We order house salad for our appetizer st Louis ribs, baby back ribs and tri tip for our meat and two sides was mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and added another side of stir fry veggies for desert we went with this churro flavor bread bites kind a like donuts but took those to go. Right after leaving I got food poisoning worse feeling ever BEWARE. Also service was mid my husband order a lemonade drink and he never even got it.
