Tried Bengee Sushi for the first time one Saturday evening. There was no wait time, and our order was brought out quickly. The salad was so good and refreshing. My husband had the hand roll and he enjoyed it. We both got ramen and it was filled with so much flavor. We’ve also ordered ramen as takeout and it had just as great flavor and texture. We also shared a cheesecake for dessert. We enjoyed Bengee Sushi and will be coming here more often. The service was five stars, with a nice clean and friendly atmosphere.
Bengee Sushi does sushi, sashimi, and Japanese-style pastas, and the price-for-quality ratio is one of the best I've seen in SoCal. Had to get my typical order of a black dragon roll plus truffle salmon carpaccio, creamy uni udon, and the curry tornado omurice. Everything's priced SO well, and their deluxe 9-grid sashimi set is a *must-get*. You get 23 thicc pieces of fish for 68 bucks. The quality honestly matches that of an omakase. Now the uni udon is incredible, so creamy so delicious, and they also have a yakiudon version. It's more of a chill vibe here but the quality surprisingly surpasses a lot of other sushi spots out there. Thanks for reading! ^-^
Chino’s hidden gem! Everyone go try Bengee Sushi! We were in Chino over the weekend for some board games and randomly searched for a lunch spot nearby. Ended up at Bengee Sushi and… wow. Completely exceeded expectations. I honestly didn’t know Chino had such solid Japanese food 😌 We both ordered their Lunch Specials — around $25 each, which is such a great deal. Since I’m not a big tempura person, we skipped the bento boxes and went straight for the good stuff. We got one Chirashi Bowl, and the moment it came out we were shocked. So much sashimi! Thick cuts, super fresh, and none of that fishy leftover-trim vibe. The sushi rice underneath was really good too — not overly sweet or sour, just balanced. The other dish we ordered was the Sashimi Lunch, and again, super generous portion with way more variety than I expected. No shortcuts, no skimping. It also comes with miso soup and salad, both clean and tasty. We added hot tea, which hit the spot on a colder day. That feeling of “randomly picking a place and accidentally finding a great spot” is honestly unmatched 😂 They also offer a $79 omakase, plus a more premium $135 one (reservation required). After seeing how generous they are with their lunch portions, I’m definitely coming back for that next time. In short: amazing value. If you love sashimi and find yourself in Chino, this place is absolutely worth the visit. ✌🏻
It’s Friday after work, and the restaurant was already packed. We had to wait a little before getting a seat. To my surprise, they offer an Omakase tasting 🍣! I went for the $79 single-person set, with 13 courses—from appetizers to dessert, every bite was a little delight🔪✨ The Yellowtail Kama was perfectly grilled—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The Mix Tempura was also a highlight: crispy coating with fresh, sweet ingredients in every bite.
Fresh fish, quick service, and fair prices—new go-to sushi spot in Chino. We ordered Baked Green Mussel (5 pcs) with mayo, eel + spicy mayo, masago, and green onions—warm, creamy, and a little smoky. The Bengee Pocket Combo (5 pcs) came with spicy salmon, spicy tuna, seaweed salad, crab, and tamago (I ate one before the photo—too good). Kumamoto oysters were cold, briny, and super clean with a light ponzu kick. The Deluxe Nine-Grid Omakase Sashimi (23 pcs) had thick cuts—Bluefin tuna, uni, yellowtail, and more—bright color and great texture. Fried soft-shell crab was hot, crispy, and not greasy. Staff were friendly without hovering, plates arrived fast, and parking in the Edison Ave center was easy. Highly recommend—coming back for the nine-grid sashimi and baked mussels.
One of my favorite Japanese spots in Chino! Their nigiri and seared nigiri are always top-notch — super fresh and melt-in-your-mouth good. I’m also obsessed with their omurice, total comfort food done right. The sea urchin udon is rich and creamy without being too heavy, and both the super creamy shrimp roll and baked crawfish roll hit the perfect balance of flavor and texture. On top of all that, the vibe is relaxed and the service is always friendly. Definitely my go-to spot when I’m craving quality sushi and warm, comforting dishes!
I went here last week with three friends and was pleasantly surprised by the food. All the fish are high Quality and fresh. They even have their signature omurice. It's a fusion dish, and the flavors are Excellent. Not only that, we only spent $100+,which is a fantastic value. (If we go to All U Can Eat today, we will pay more than that, and the food here is so much better. That's why I've always considered All U Can Eat not the truly great value.) Highly recommended!
Tried Bengee Sushi in Chino last week and really loved it! The space is nicely decorated, and the food was on point. We had a variety of sushi — salmon, halibut, red snapper, torched crawfish roll, and the creamy shrimp roll — all super fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the curry omurice, tornado omurice, and creamy uni udon — all were delicious and paired great with the sushi. Finished off with ice cream for dessert. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
I’ve already brought three different groups of friends to try the $79 omakase here — it’s that good! Absolutely love this little sushi spot right in the neighborhood. Fresh ingredients, reasonable pricing, and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Kumamoto Oysters with Uni I haven’t seen Kumamoto oysters sold anywhere else in LA! Paired with fresh uni and salmon roe, the flavor is so sweet and umami-rich that it leaves you speechless. The oyster has a jelly-like texture—absolutely divine. Uni Cream Udon I’ve had something similar at the uni specialty spot Miyabi Uni, but this one actually has wok hei (that smoky charred flavor)! The creamy sauce coats every strand of udon perfectly—not greasy at all. The seasoning is spot on. I slurped it up in no time! Ootoro Tuna Spoon Ootoro (fatty tuna) with uni and fish roe—similar combo to the first dish, but who can say no to Ootoro? The texture is silky with a rich, fatty finish. Curry Omelette Rice Tornado Style I only love Japanese curry! The potatoes and carrots are stewed till soft and tender, with a flavorful sauce. The egg is fragrant and fluffy. One bite of curry, one bite of rice—pure joy! 8-Piece Sushi Set Sweet shrimp, salmon, scallops, yellowtail, and various kinds of tuna—all incredibly fresh. Especially loved the fatty salmon! I was completely full and it was only a little over $50 per person. The Kumamoto oysters seem to be a special—no idea if they’ll always have them, but I’m absolutely obsessed!
Here’s a well-crafted English review for a Japanese restaurant focusing on fresh ingredients and excellent service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **An Exceptional Dining Experience!** I recently dined at [Restaurant Name] and was utterly impressed! From the moment we stepped in, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel right at home. The **freshness of the ingredients** truly stood out – every bite of the sushi and sashimi was a revelation. The fish tasted like it had just been sourced from the ocean, and the nigiri melted in my mouth. Even the miso soup and seasonal dishes showcased high-quality, vibrant produce. What elevated the experience was the **attentive and heartfelt service**. The servers were knowledgeable, patiently explaining menu details and even recommending personalized pairings. They checked in frequently without being intrusive, and our teacups were never empty. The cozy yet elegant ambiance added to the delightful evening. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or new to Japanese cuisine, this place guarantees a memorable meal. I left feeling pampered and already planning my next visit – **10/10 for food, service, and atmosphere!** Highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic, top-tier Japanese dining experience! 🍣✨
Absolutely love Bengee Sushi! The quality of the fish is always fresh, and every roll is thoughtfully crafted with great flavor and presentation. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making the dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend trying their signature — especially the ikura unit oyster— and don’t skip the appetizers! One of my go-to spots for sushi in the area.
I recently dined in bungee sushi, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was incredibly fresh, with standout dishes like the unique Uni Pasta, the exquisite Omakase Set, and the creative Purple Yam Roll that you won't find anywhere else. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a special night out. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy innovative Japanese cuisine!
I ordered premium oysters for the appetizer. The plump, tender and sweet oysters were paired with sea urchin and salmon roe, and the happiness soared to the sky. The bluefin tuna belly was cooked in the same way. The greasiness was explosive and the sea urchin balanced it well. For the main course, I ordered tornado omelette rice, sea urchin udon, and sushi omelette rice with curry. The chicken was very tender and juicy. Every udon noodle in the sea urchin udon was covered with sea urchin, and it was so soft that it gave off a feeling of wok flavor. In the sushi set, sweet 🦐, toro, and salmon roe sushi are my favorites, and each one is very fresh.
Absolutely LOVE this place! Me and my sisters came in here the Sunday before Memorial Day. Our server, Vincent, welcomed as we came in, and was helpful in explaining some items on the menu when we asked. All of the food arrived in a timely manner, and was just as delicious as we'd hoped. ❤️ The atmosphere is relaxing, with wooden decorations, and the music wasn't too loud, which I loved. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to fill your sushi/sashimi cravings.
I recently tried **Bengee Sushi** and was blown away by the quality and creativity of their rolls! The fish was incredibly fresh, and the combinations were unique without being overly complicated. **Highlights:** ✔ **Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll** – Perfect balance of heat and texture. The crispy tempura flakes added a great contrast! ✔ **Dragon Roll** – Beautifully presented with creamy eel sauce that wasn’t too sweet. ✔ **Sashimi Platter** – Melt-in-your-mouth freshness, especially the salmon and yellowtail. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a cozy, modern vibe. Prices were reasonable for the quality, and they even had some great lunch specials. If you’re a sushi lover, **Bengee Sushi** is a must-try! I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. **Pro Tip:** Try their **truffle salmon roll** if you’re feeling adventurous—it’s a game-changer!
We visited this place last weekend, because it is very close to where my friend lives. The ambiance is really nice, and the sashimi platter was absolutely stunning, with thick cuts of fish that were super fresh and definitely worth the price. The nigiri sushi platter was also fantastic, with a great variety to choose from. The Wagyu sushi was just as amazing as you'd expect--tender, buttery, and it melted in my mouth, even though it's a bit pricey. Overall, great value and a delicious meal!
The owners put attention to detail in the design of this restaurant, it’s so beautiful inside, very clean, and kind waiters. The FOOD is absolutely fresh and authentic. The pork ramen is to die for! And the fresh rolls are made with fresh Grade A fish. This restaurant is my new obsession.
I originally planned to come here for omakase on a weekend evening, but since I didn’t have a reservation and ingredients are limited, I couldn’t have it. Just a friendly reminder — if you want omakase here, it’s best to book in advance. So instead, I ordered the omelet rice, udon, and sushi combo, which were all to my taste — especially the omelet rice. So far, I haven’t found a restaurant that makes it better than this one.
What a hidden gem here! I ordered the cream sea urchin udon, Toro uni spoon... All the food was So delicious, fresh and fancy! Uni was very sweet, and it's worth mentioning that the price was only 18 for toro uni spoon... Usually Other restaurant will cost at least 30-40+..Highly recommend! I will definitely come here when I come to LA again.
