Really liked this little Cafe. It's one of those hidden gems stuck in a plaza where most stores are closed. I had an open house nearby so I Googled for a place to eat. This place came up and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Philly cheese sandwich and the clam chowder soup. The bread was crunchy and the cheese melted to perfection. The soup was filled with ingredients and not water down.
I had the Honey vanilla latte which was all made in-house. It was so delicious, I am still thinking about it weeks later. This place is cozy, the pastries are made fresh daily and the coffee is perfect.
It was great wonderful meat pies and wonderful service reminds me of my homeland in New Zealand
My husband and I tried the butter chicken meat pie and the Philly cheesesteak, and both were absolutely delicious! They make their bread fresh in-house, along with most of the items on their menu, from coffee syrups to desserts. You can really taste the love and dedication they've put into their food over the years.
I absolutely treasure this adorable Cafe. Yes it's a bit pricey but I always think it's worth it. The employees are always so sweet and helpful, the food is so delicious, the drinks are also incredibly delicious and the atmosphere is so simple, yet rustic. So cute. I've been overseas for two years and this was the first place I wanted to go the day I finally came back and it still fills me with so much happiness, despite the pricing. 🥰
Great People, Food is delicious, coffee is amazing. Visiting from Delaware and stop here for breakfast they were super nice, their hospitality and great food is enough to make come back again and again!!!!
Came in for a light yet filling breakfast and it hit the spot. Ordered the breakfast burrito with the side salad. The person who attended to us (an elderly man) was super sweet. We chit chatted for a minute and he gave us complimentary snacks. It was a nice start to our day. Also, there is plenty of parking. They are located in a large plaza near Planet Fitness.
The couple that run this lovely, cozy restaurant are welcoming and attentive. They bake all the baked food themselves, including excellent bagels that are as good as any I've had in NYC!
I took my mom here for lunch today. She ordered the Vegetarian Grinder, I got the Chicken Pesto Panini. Both were delicious. The restaurant is clean and there were many great choices on the menu. Service was attentive and efficient. We met the owners, Tony and Hong - such sweet lovely hosts who were genuinely interested in making my mom's birthday special. I'm writing this review because the location is tucked away in the Target shopping center, but definitely working finding. We'll be back!
NICE VIBES! GREAT FOOD & COFFEE! You can sit at Tables or lounge at the couch & read a book.
Ordered a chicken pesto panini and grilled chicken salad, SO good. The panini was light, bread was a perfect crisp (even for going on a long journey to be delivered). The grilled chicken is juicy. The cheese melted perfectly. I love pesto. And the salad was just as I like it. I have found a new go-to spot for light lunches. Update: Had a Beef and Cheese Meat Pie. Tasted great! I REALLY like this place. I may actually stop by the café one day.
Was welcomed with a smile from the man behind the counter. Ordered dirty chi and avo toast. Both was yummy. He kept checking on how everything was. Even brought a little treat to myself and other guests. Glad I stopped in. Would definitely be back when in the area.
Ordered the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. The service was friendly, will definitely be returning.
Heard about this place on Facebook thought we'd check it out for lunch. I tried the cheese and steak sandwich with a side of potato soup. It was delicious, good size portion, served on a warm french bread. The soup was really tasty. Also the cucumber drink was so refreshing, definitely recommend it.
This place is cute inside, kind of hidden but accessible. Went during lunch, so 12pm. Not very busy and they have an interesting selection of lunch sized meals. I tried the turkey pesto panini with a salad and a iced hazelnut Cafe latte. At first glance I was a bit disappointed, it almost didn't look like it'd be that great, especially with what I paid for it. About $10. Salad looked a bit sad and the Ceasar dressing was light, a bit watery. The panini was actually tasty and the coffee as well. Total was $15. While I think it's over priced I'm giving it 5 stars because of the nice service and satisfaction it gave me. I would not come here often for the food, but I would for the coffee.
What a beautiful Cafe, ive never been to anything so cozy. The staff and owners I persume? Were so very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious, i would love to come back and try more.
The Flinderstreet cafe has been serving delicious food and pastries in a quaint restaurant setting for years. We've been coming here and every time we order the owner comes out to say a quick, "hello". Stop by if you want to discover a hidden gem in Chino. The salads were fresh and the sandwiches were well made.
This is definetly food crafted from years of experience. The owners are extremely nice and friendly and definetly go above and beyond to make sure your experience is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend trying the Italian mozzarella panini as it as an Italian food lover made me want to pair it with a glass of red wine. Definitely will be coming here more often now that I know about this hidden gem.
Extremely kind staff! And the sandwich was so good, crispy and warm bread with tender chicken. Latte was perfect level of sweetness.
The owner (Tony) is awesome! Super friendly! Highly recommended. I had the cheesesteak sandwich.
The food was delicious and I loved the ambiance. The cookies are definitely a must try. I had the Vegetarian delight pannie, a side salad with ranch, and it was delicious. We also ordered chicken Alfredo and chicken soup which was delicious as well. The owners said everything was made from scratch and you could tell. This little place is definitely a must try if you are in the area.
The food and customer service here is great! This place is a hidden gem in this neighborhood. I recommend the Turkey Pesto Panini!
One of the best places I’ve been to in a very long time. Awesome staff, great coffee, and amazing food. I’m not local at all, and I will be back.
Love this place! There’s outdoor seating so I can bring my dog. We got the Italian grinder, veggie panini, Italian mozzarella panini, steak and cheese meat pie. Meat pie was my fav for sure but the sandwiches are solid. The owner is super sweet and friendly and gave us cookies at the end of our meal. We’ll be back for sure.
Everything we had was absolutely delicious! Not sure if it was the owner or an employee who came to our table and ensure that everything was just amazing. I will definitely be coming back! The Bacon Avocado Toast was divine!!!
A perfect place to have lunch! This small mom and pops shop is the hidden gem of Chino! We are regular and they seem to surprise us everytime with their sandwiches, and don't get me started on the delicious soups/pastries. I have travel all over the world, ate at expensive places... Let's just say... Flinderstreet is on another level, good price, generous portion and wonderful customer service! Small shop yet so warm and welcome! The husband and wife often come out to chat with the customers, get to know them and shows their appreciation for supporting their wonderful business. We can't praise this place enough! We will cont to come back here!
My girlfriend randomly yelped this place and I feel like I discovered a go-to comfort food spot. The food is very fresh, snacks are very good, and atmosphere is super cozy. I had a curry chicken pot pie with Tuscan soup, my gorgeous girlfriend had a pastrami sandwich with potato soup. Both were so delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of their food and study/work.
Honey vanilla latte is very good. Not too sweet and perfect for sipping to enjoy the flavors. Ate the chicken pesto panini and is made fresh with very good amount of chicken in it. Loved the pesto!
Delicious!! All of the workers are super friendly too! The cold brew was so good and the sandwiches were to die for. Seriously, the grinder bread was the best I've ever had! Can't wait to visit again and try something else!! Prices are very reasonable too.

Such a wonderful experience! The workers and owners are genuinely some of the nicest people you’ll meet, and the restaurant is always spotlessly clean. Their meat pies are absolutely amazing, and the chicken panini was another standout. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The desserts are fantastic too. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality!
The best coffee, breakfast, lunch spot in the entire inland empire! I've never met such kind people from the owners to all the workers. Their food is so fresh and everything tastes so good here. All made fresh and their desserts are so good, you have to try the cakes!
Local coffee shop. Sweet, friendly and attentive owners. Sometimes they give out free mini-cookies. They have New Zealand style meat pies and sausage rolls. Can get pretty busy on the weekends and might be a bit of a wait but definitely worth it. My favorites: the turkey basil panini and their fresh baked made in house bagels are superb (more on the soft than chewy side, great flavor). They have a variety of sandwiches, pasta dishes, and a small selection of fresh made pastries. I’ve always enjoyed their honey vanilla latte and cucumber limeade (they seemed to ramp up the sweetness level on their drinks so make sure to ask if you can adjust sweetness if you are usually a “less sweet” person). Great place to study or read, especially during the weekdays. Throw back to my youth: seeing a basket of used books for customer use including The Baby-sitter’s Club :)

This is my second time visiting to The Flinderstreet Cafe and I feel comfortable enough to leave a review. First, let me talk about the atmosphere because it's a Cafe so the looks of it is very important, when you walk in the door the decor feels comfy and homey with pictures of their items and a easy menu to read for the rest of the items, also TONS of live plants to add some personality, BUT there is some imperfections. They have a corner with a couch that looks kind of beat up, not sure if anyone would care but I do, the windows are also filled with graffiti although its not their fault, but it's still a turn off. Moving on to the actual food, I ordered the mocha latte and Cafe latte which were both good, it wasn't like star bucks where you cant tell your drinking coffe. Here you can actually taste your coffe and it's GOOD. I ordered some food as well, the breakfast panini, chicken pesto panini, and the Italian panini which were all good but not GREAT. They all have the same feeling where I thought something was missing to really make it perfect. Overall The Flinderstreet Cafe is a cute "mom and pop" vibes shop that I will continue to visit, it's not perfect but definitely worth trying for your self.
I saw i sign that said meat pies.. i haven't had a good meat pie since i was in the AUS , they had a couple different kind and instead i had a sausage roll. It was great, i was suprised it was better then i had ove seas. Id go back again
Great sandwich place to go to in the area! I didnt even know this part of the plaza existed. Each time I came I only knew about Target, but didnt know there was this cafe as well as a gym right next to it. I decided to write a review after a few times, and I can say my experience was great. I ordered to go each time, and you can call ahead to place your order. The place is not that big , but there are a few seats inside Food So from my experience you order what you want, and usually you get a side with your order, at least with the sandwiches. They have pasta too, but I have yet to try it What we did order was Classic Ham and Cheese Philly Cheese Veggie’s Delight Italian Mozzarella Toscana soup I guess it just depends on what you feel like having, but I would say the sandwiches are all pretty good. I particularity like the toscana soup even if they have chicken noodle as well. You can choose to have sides like salad, chips, or even other items upon request. Vegetarians wondering if the Veggie’s Delight was good, according to my wife, she thought it was great! Wanted to note that this place also has coffee as well, so if lunch and coffee is what you want, it can be that one stop shop. The prices are reasonable too. Looking forward to our next visit! Until then!
So we have a regular coffee shop/eatery that we go to every Saturday without exception, unfortunately they are closed on Sundays lol so we woke up this particular morning and I didn't feel like making coffee. We started looking up coffee places and found this one. My sister ordered an iced macchiato I wanted to try a cafe latte and a cortado, why not it's not that big right? Ok well see these coffees at least to me had more of a taste of nitro/cold brew to me. I'm fine with that but my sister isn't too much of a fan and the cortado wasn't to strong for me. The grilled chicken was good and she got it with the soup which wasn't bad. Italian mozzarella panini was also good I got that with a spaghetti salad a little different but not too bad. I wanted to try a meat pie, well who knew it came as a meal lol. We got that with a macaroni salad, did not care for that at all. Meat pie with cheese was pretty good though.Overall we would come here again, definitely have friendly staff here.

Cute café, very personable staff.we ordered the steak paninis and the "meat" was very off putting. It tasted like cheap microwavable steak-ums. Very dry. Lattes were good. Wanted to visit it while in the area.

The restaurant owner made me feel I didn't want to come here anymore. The food is very good. The service at the cashier is a bit weird. A Separate menu for the orders doesn't make sense to me. I don't know what to order.
Nice atmosphere and good food, but definitely not worth the price tag. I’m happy to pay for quality, but this felt a bit like a ripoff.
I ordered a chai latte and a matcha latte. I was extremely disappointed both drinks were awful. Both drinks had a weird taste to them and the contents weren’t fully mixed in. The matcha tasted sour and the chai had an overall bad taste. The cafe also had a humid smell to it. I don’t recommend it.
I ordered an iced caramel latte (to-go) and paid $9 for it. What I got was iced milk - no caramel flavor, a small amount of caramel sauce drizzled, and no espresso/coffee taste at all. I called three times asking to speak to a manager and was told they weren’t there and to email. I did email and never received a response. I physically returned to the store and was told I had to speak to a manager who of course wasn’t there. Not only was the product subpar and overpriced but the customer service is terrible.
