Un lugar muy agradable, el costo es de $210, pero si muestras tu INE no pagas

Es una zona, bien cuidada, la gente amable, les recomiendo contratar a un guía autorizado por el INAH para que el recorrido sea más educativo y sepas lo que estas viendo. El mio costó $400.= inició en el museo, luego por la zona Arqueológica y concluyó con la visita al santuario. El recorrido fue de aproximadamente 2-2:30 horas y fue realmente ameno e interesante.

Es una zona arqueológica interesante. La gran pirámide es considerada la estructura con el mayor volumen del mundo (4.5 millones de metros cúbicos). Su base mide 450 metros por lado, pero parece ser parte del cerro y natural por su construcción de adobe y vegetación que la rodea, es en realidad una superposición de siete estructuras piramidales. Los españoles realizaron una iglesia católica sobre ella,, lo cual no deja de ser a todas luces una gran pérdida para la historia. Se trata de Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios: Templo colonial construido en 1594 sobre la cima de la pirámide. Desde ahí se pueden apreciar vistas panorámicas de los volcanes, y la cuidad. Hay ventas de artesanías, de frutas y comidas

Es un espacio maravilloso. Puedes conocer de las culturas originarias de México, y ver cómo se produjo esa mezcla producto de la colonización. Súper recomendado entrar a la zona arqueológica.

Excelente sitio para disfrutar los paisajes y de una buena caminata por esa zona tiene gran variedad de panoramas, el lugar es muy bonito y desde la parte alta de la iglesia se aprecian unas vistas increíbles. Para los que nos gusta la fotografía está genial. Sin duda un sitio al que volveré en mi próxima visita por la zona!

El santuario es una belleza, tiene un increíble mirador donde podrás observar la ciudad de Puebla. Sin dudar tienes que visitar las pirámides, tomarte una foto en todas partes. San Andrés Cholula y San Pedro Cholula. No olviden probar el helado de Maiz Azul una verdadera delicia. Es ideal para ir en familia, en grupos grandes, individual y en pareja, hay mucho que gozar!

La zona arqueológica es bastante grande, hay muchas escaleras por lo que el acceso para personas con discapacidad es limitado. El domingo el acceso a la zona arqueológica es gratuito para mexicanos con la credencial de elector. Hay que llevar zapatos cómodos y sombrero o sombrilla, también botella de agua. El acceso a la zona arqueológica es independiente de la iglesia a la cual el acceso es gratuito

En este tipo de lugares considero que los guías turísticos son indispensables y gracias al Sr. Armando nuestra visita fue excelente! Realiza un gran trabajo y se nota le apasiona mucho la historia ☺️ Es necesario llevar calzado cómodo, una sombrilla o sombrero para protegerse del sol aunque afuera del acceso hay varios puestos donde pueden adquirirse. Fuimos un viernes, habia poca gente y nada de fila para ingresar.

La entrada cuesta $100 pesos e incluye la visita al museo del sitio. Creo que se puede recorrer en una hora tranquilamente. Imperdible si visitas Cholula. La única observación que haría es que algunos letreros con la información histórica están en malas condiciones.

Muy bien cuidados los espacios, limpios e identificados, mucho que estar viendo, artesanías, comida y buenas personas para guiar y platicar por un buen rato. De los precios es como en todos lados, cuestión de buscar y preguntar...

Recomiendo ir a la iglesia subiendo el cerdito, conocer el museo y la zona arqueológica de Cholula, todo el recorrido es interesante, lleno de historia y cultura

Lo visitamos en domingo y la entrada ese día es gratuita para mexicanos, mostrando identificaciones oficiales. Es un lugar con mantenimiento, baños gratuitos en la entrada y un pasto hermoso que vale la pena pisar sin calzado (a gusto personal). Si están en Cholula y les llama la atención, pasen a disfrutarlo…

Great view from top of pyramid. Walk up is relativly easy. Church is beautiful inside. Go down the eastern way so you can buy tickets for 100 pesos and see the foundations of the pyramid. Video costs extra, but filming with mobile is allowed. Would fully recommend watching all this.

After visiting the Cathedral on the hill, we opted to walk around the ruins of the Great Pyramid. What history and building technique. They added layers every 52 years and spans centuries. Not much left but still worth walking around.

I’m studying to be an archaeologist and this place blew me away. Created in stages, like the Maya and other mesoamerican cultures, the pyramid was fantastic and the surrounding ruins were beautiful. There is definitely more that can be revealed. The grassy area that you walk around in was really nice.

It says that it was one of the biggest pyramid. Ruins are still you can see from the Mesoamérica civilisation . It will be better to go in the morning to avoid sun.

First of all i recommend a guide, for our family it was only 350 pesos. The difference in visiting this place or any other arquelogic place is that on your own compared to having a guide is that the root guide person gives you context and much more information tag you find in the signs. This place at Cholula, for instance, it was explain to us that there are 7 pyramids build on top of each other over a time span of over 1000 years before and after christ. We were told the city was abandoned after the eruption of the popocatepelt volcán were out left up to 40 cm of ashes. In general very nice place to visit but more meaningful and interesting if you are with a guide.

A must spot to stop and see the amazing ruins of the pyramid and visit the Church. The history in this area seems to be hardly tapped. Present-day restaurants and shops make this a place to investigate history as well as current culture. The last time I visited, you were allowed to go right inside the pyramid. Unfortunately, we are only allowed around the perimeter now. Still a great place to visit.

We took a taxi from Puebla to visit Cholula. We first walked up the hill to visit the church and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding area. Very impressive. Then we visited the museum and walked the path around the ruins. The museum was small, but had nice displays. The ruins were interesting and we could only imagine how impressive the original pyramid must have been.

Amazing place honestly, each section has an information panel explaining what you are looking at. The way everything is still intact is amazing, towards the end you can climb the steps all the way up, when i went there was a mini dust storm so head up on that.

Such an amazing experience! The museum and tunnels were closed, which we would have loved to be told upon purchasing our tickets. But it was still worth the 80 pesos. The signs are poorly translated to English and I think some graphs and illustrations would go a long way in helping one along the journey. Even so, it was so much more than what I expected and so interesting.

Un lugar con mucha historia cobran 100 a partir de los 13 años, yo pregunté al comprar el acceso si podía entrar al túnel y me dijeron que si pero despues otra persona me comentó que están cerrados desde la pandemia y no hay fecha para abrir puedes subir al templo 7 que es una parte de todo lo que hay

Muy padre lugar. Recorrí todo el lugar pero entré a la zona arqueológica, fuimos con una familia grande y el precio se me hizo algo caro para lo que se muestra son 210 pesos por persona

Muy bonito lugar para visitar en familia o amigos

Tiene una vista muy bonita y aprendes mucho sobre la historia del lugar. Pero la entrada está muy cara para lo que es. Aunque te hagan descuento por ser mexicanos los de la taquilla son muy groseros contigo.

Noté que casi no suben personas con niños y personas mayores por como está el camino de empinado para subir, la verdad es que la vista está increíble pero si cuesta llegar hasta el templo

Small ruins but beautiful 😍 the entrance was like 100 pesos per person if you want a guide is 400 pesos. They use to let you walk through ruins but now is all gated otherwise worth ps. You have to go all the way around to get where you pay.

4/5 because I appreciate ruins and history but the organisation or facilities could be better. Firstly, the tickets are only for the area around the base on the pyramid. The entrance to the top (the church) is free. Secondly, when you buy the tickets and leave the ticket office, the first stop (museum) is not clearly indicated. Someone had to tell us to turn around to spot it (it's on the left, down the stairs, opposite way than the rest of the archaeological area. The museum is old but informative. Thirdly, the area itself has nice toilets by the entrance and many signs/tourist information spotted around the complex, but, again, they are a bit old rundown.

El costo de la entrada es de $100 Solamente hay menos de 10 fichas técnicas que les hace falta mantenimiento tanto en lo estético y en la información. Es más recomendable llevar a un guía para conocer la estructura, el ATC de la taquilla bastante apática.

Me gustó que el pasto está cuidado. La entrada es gratuita o al menos así nos tocó porque era domingo y solo nos solicitaron INE.

Pyramid of Cholula I was incredibly excited to visit the largest pyramid in the world. Knowing that it’s only a 3.5-hour flight from where I live made it even more exciting. However, I was also very disappointed by the way we were treated. I asked at the museum if it was possible to enter the underground passages of the pyramid, and the man who attended me said he didn’t know what I was talking about and told me to just go into the museum. I asked again if there was access to the tunnels, and he raised his voice, saying he didn’t know what I was talking about and that I should go see the patios instead. His attitude was rude and arrogant, so we decided to leave. The site itself is beautiful, full of history, with stories of the gods, the customs of the ancient peoples of Mexico, and also of the new religion imposed by the Spanish. I would definitely visit Cholula again, but I would keep my distance from the government staff.

It's a very big pyramid mostly covered in dirt. It seems the few things that were excavated were not actually part of the pyramid. The tunnels perhaps would be interesting but were closed. Poor signage resulted in us ascending 300+ steps to get to a church, but have no view of the pyramid (nice city and volcano view, however). Seems the church is the bigger spectacle here.

THE TUNNELS ARE CLOSED. YOU CANNOT GO INSIDE THE PYRAMID/TEMPLE AT ALL, SO YOU WILL SEE ALMOST NOTHING. If you are okay with that, you will pay $95 per person (it is more expensive than listed online) to only see a small amount of the top of it (the rest is underground). If it is a sunny day, you can climb one small part of the temple steps, but that's the coolest thing you'll experience here. If it's raining, that will be closed so there will be almost nothing to see. UNTIL THEY OPEN THE TUNNELS AGAIN, IF THEY EVER DO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE.

The place is very nice, but signs for the entrance are misleading. They tried to sell me a guide (as I was only one visitor who didn't speak Spanish), and I was supposed to pay as I was a whole group. No one told me at the entrance that there was a museum in there, and I saw no signs. Found lately when I already went out of the city . There is a big open marketplace outside and an amusement park, so it is very loud. It didn't bother me at all. For me, it was as very peaceful as it was, but some visitors may find it annoying. Make sure to visit the marketplace outside for a lot of nice souvenirs. So, the place is great, just the signs and personnel are a bit odd. Oh, and the tunnels are still closed because of covid.... it's may 2024...

Would have been a very interesting site, but the tunnels, which are the main reason you should go there for, were closed. They charged us full price (increased 110% in 2026) but there was very little to see and definitely not worth the long way we went

El acceso se me hizo excesivo parar 210 solo por no haber llevado a la mano mi INE, me parece que su criterio no fue justo,ya no hay acceso al túnel, y eso era gran parte del atractivo
