Went for a quick bite and mand the 2 pancake plate came out in like 5 min and filled me up! Hot and fresh, soft and tasty!
We've been here plenty of times over the years, and this was the first time that i ordered the chilaquilles. I was so disappointed....in myself they were amazing. I'd always thought I'd be disappointed, and now i am. All the lost opportunities for some good food. The kids got a goos laugh because they know i love my chilaquilles. Just more reason to come back. Hahaha
Stopped by for breakfast super delicious. Bit of a wait, about 20 minutes. Parking is a challenge . I hate that people bring dogs to a restaurant. Someone brought their dog and was told about their policy and the level of entitlement is mind-boggling. They had the nerve to put the dog on the furniture to sit. Since when is this acceptable?
I live in Salt Lake City. My friend took me to this amazing restaurant. Customer service was above and beyond. My two favorite our waitress Ashley and David who cleared our plates. I will definately be back again. I wish we had one in Salt Lake City
If you are looking for a big omelette breakfast here is the place, they have a great taste and well served dishes for 14.99 includes pancakes and hash brown/fruit. Also they have coffee refill free, the restaurant have this old fashion 60s-70s restaurant, they speak Spanish for our Latino community and have a fast and good waiters, the bathrooms are some what tiny but at least no graffiti and also clean. I recommend this place for the omelette/pancakes, I’m pending on trying more on the menu
A friend and I were looking for a breakfast place. He recommended Aunts Emma. When we got there, the parking was full. We had to wait until it became available. We got there after morning rush hour. We were seated right away. The servers were polite and friendly. We got our order quickly. I ordered a chicken fajitas omelet with pancakes. My friend ordered a steak and eggs with hashed brown, with pancakes. The plating was good with a very generous portion. It was a filler. The only critic I have was that the chicken fajita were in the overcooked side. Everything else was fine, including the omelet and hashed brown. Overall, I rate the establishment of a 5 star. Parking is limited. Handicap parking is available. Establishment is tidy and clean. Friendly service. Good family atmosphere. Good eats.
OK, I didn't even know hash browns could taste that GOOD! Some Harry Potter magic right there. The waffle was also very good, actually everything was hot and super delicious. The decaf coffee was hot and strong, unlike most places where they forget about us caffeine - free people. The place is clearly a favorite of many, plan for some wait time if partaking over the weekend. The wait time was minimal for a party of two and well worth it. Everyone was so polite and respectful, no irritable persons here ;from patron to staff, great experience!

Food is delicious, everything you order at this restaurant will be a wonderful taste. Enjoy Emma's food and service.
The prices are low and the food is great. Honestly, there's nothing more you could want from a breakfast place! The only downside is that it closes at 2pm and it's often pretty busy. Whether you're…
Great service and great food! Family atmosphere great children's meals. If you don't have a big appetite, I recommend you share a plate.

My server Ashley was great and the food was good. Definitely recommend. Ashley was friendly and nice and refilled my coffee a bunch of times. :)
The place is a dinner as any other American restaurant, you can get good breakfast here!, the waitress are very nice and they speak English and Spanish. The food is good, not exceptional but its a good option if any other places is busy, pancakes are good and the breakfast burrito was my favorite.
Aunt Emma’s Pancakes is a comfortable, dependable breakfast destination in Chula Vista. It shines when you’re in the mood for pancakes, a hearty breakfast, and a straightforward diner experience. If you can avoid the rush (or don’t mind waiting a bit), it’s a solid choice. Would recommend it for a relaxed morning out, especially with friends or family. Short stack of buttermilk pancakes: A staple here, ideal if you want the classic experience. Crepes (strawberry, apple, cajeta): For something a bit different, they mention crepes topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream. Omelette + pancakes combo: Great if you want savory + sweet; omelettes get good mentions. Coffee: Many reviewers highlight that their coffee is reliably hot and well-refilled.
This is your old school breakfast diners with the old fashion furniture and the countertop service. The menu is filled with so many amazing options the hardest part is deciding what to order! Service is hit or miss depending on who your server is. But this place does get full on the weekends! The coffee is good ol' diner tasting coffee! The food was delicious and the portions were just right not too big not too small! Great dining experience! Crepes are good! But the best is biscuits and gravy!! They do have a small parking lot.

My food was tasteless also my coffee. Service was a bit poor. Also very noisy but thats the vibe at this location. Sorry but I'll stick to the one in National City.
Good American Traditional breakfast. Unfortunately it was pretty full on a Saturday morning and the food took a bit too long. Still pretty good flavor and good service. I had the breakfast burger with side of onion rings.
After taking our order it took 20 minutes to receive most of our food, then another 10 to get missing pancakes. It should not take that long to get our food. The waiter did offer coffee refills but only offered one for a regular drink. Did not check on us. Wish we got better service we’ve been coming here for years but will no longer due to multiple times of poor service
My parents love coming here for the Monday–Friday breakfast specials. I ordered the #2 green omelette with two pancakes, and it was good. My mom usually gets the #1, which comes with two eggs, two pancakes, and two sausages plus she always adds a side of toast so she can make her favorite egg sandwich. The food is solid and the prices are very reasonable, which makes this a great spot for breakfast. The only downside for me was the coffee. I tried the hazelnut latte that one of the gentlemen kindly offered me a taste of, but it was pretty watered down since they don’t use an espresso machine. I also sampled their hot black coffee, and it tasted more like water than coffee. So come here for the cozy atmosphere, breakfast, and affordable prices but maybe grab your coffee somewhere else.
This was my first time here and although I'm sure the food is good, I could only give 3 stars. When we arrived there was 1 couple ahead of us. My friend gave the "hostess" or name. She's asked if we preferred a table or both. We said it did not matter. There were lots of open tables. She rang up the customers who were checking out, seated the couple ahead of us, came back, rang up the next people, then left us just standing there to wait knowing there were plenty of open tables. After about 5 minutes of just standing there waiting, I was about to seat myself at one of the open tables or the bar when another waitress came and sat us. And wouldn't you know it, right after that, that so called "hostess" went back to the front. This disturbed the rest of my experience unfortunately. I ordered the Monte Cristo. What I got was a French toast ham sandwich. I had to ask for the preserves that is supposed to come with it, and was informed they were out and would I like some jelly. I'm thinking this information should have been told to me prior to bringing me my food. I got jelly packets instead. No bueno. My friend really hyped this place up and I was completely deflated by the whole experience. I have posted a picture of the rudeness "hostess" with my review because I didn't get her name.
I've been coming here since I was a little girl, and it's sad to say that it has really gone downhill. The service was slow, we waited 40 minutes for our food and they still forgot a plate. The food was burnt and lacking in quality, and the prices were high. This used to be one of my favorite places, but I wouldn’t go back now.
Sunnyside eggs were completely raw. Pancakes showed up with no syrup. Overall, all quality was terrible. This is my first and absolute last time ordering from this place. If you want to know exactly …

When looking for a place to have breakfast with my wife we thought we'd try this place sue to their extensive menu options. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who immediately brought us coffee. Our waitress came and took our order soon after. We received our food shortly after. My wife's pancakes were raw in the center so we asked for a remake. The food runner kindly took them back to the kitchen. At this point we still hadn't seen our server nor received coffee refills. 15 minutes later my wife finally received her remade pancakes but they were still undercooked. I ordered chicken and waffles not expecting to receive Tyson's chicken nuggets on top of a Belgian waffle. It was ok but feel free to make you own decision. Our waitress returned once we were at the tail end of our meal but had not checked back throughout. We had to ask other employees for items requested when we originally placed our order. As we were leaving the waitress did ask one last time if everything was ok but at that point it was too little too late. The reviews gave a different impression and unfortunately our experience was subpar.
