all the people that work there are very friendly and have a VERY sincere smile on their faces. one of the few gems that i tell people i know from out of town to visit! my mom goes here all the time, too! probably like 4 days out of the week if im not mistaken!!!
Everything is delicious Massive serving of combos They do half & half pancit and rice Comes with 2 items of your choice. Laing, adobong puist menudo Ginatang langka dinuguan and tortang talong Are my favorite. Friendly staffs
Great food, definitely seemed cleaner then other Filipino restaurants I've been to in the area. The food was delicious and the portions are large. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Best filipino food at the best price in san diego. Period. They always serve great portions for the price you're paying. The food is always fresh the people are always friendly. It is a very clean place and my number one go-to spot for Filipino food when I'm in the Chula Vista area. The sisig is on point. 5 stars!
I could eat their pancit and lumpia EVERY DAY it's that good. Very friendly staff and large servings of amazing Filipino food.. I love it, do yourself a favor and atleast TRY their food you will become a regular.😋😋🤙
Best Filipino food in Southside/Chula Vista and very reasonably priced! Love the pork adobo, sisig and pork sinigang. Definitely my family's go to spot down south!
Great place to get comfort Filipino food! Everyone is friendly and great selection of food. All authentic Filipino cuisine. Great spot that doesn't overcharge.
As Filipino food goes, Jochi's is right on the mark!!! Fresh and great tasting Filipino delicacies. Pancit, adobo, lumpia, and other dishes are delectable. Owners Del and Chie are hardworking partners of this well-tuned establishment. Gotta try!!!
Very yummy and they give a ton of food! Two-item combo would've been enough to feed 3-4 people! 😯 Pork adobo was bomb.
Best place to get Filipino food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff. Just be ready to wait a little since it is popular and they try to serve you as best as they can. Food is like comfort food for the soul, brings me back when they were just a small shop.
Good ole authentic Filipino food. Bi tried the sisig and it's good. They give a good portion so if you like Filipino food give this place a try. The halo halo is also good however there is none of the jelly type stuff in there if you like that stuff.
First time at this cafeteria style restaurant. First time to eat Filipino food. Had different dishes including fried fish, roasted lechon, lechon in a sauce, noodles, rolls, rice, others. A great experience. Inside a Filipino / Asian Supermarket, so parking is available.
MASSIVE portions and great food!!! Loved their lumpia, lechon belly, menudo, langonisa, and halo halo. Their combos also come with a huge amount of rice and/or pancit, and it absolutely warms my soul 🥰 10/10 can't wait to come back and try new things!
I was visiting from Dallas, TX, and I went with a friend who knows the owner. We bought pancit and lechon. The pancit was really, really good and the lechon was cooked to perfection. Great location with ample parking. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely stop by the next time I'm in town.
We are from Phoenix and this place is probably the best Filipino restaurant in San Diego.Food are delicious, place is clean, staff are friendly and very reasonable in price. The portions are almost good for two person. They have a wide variety of food. You have to try it and I'm sure you will be back just like me and my family. See you all soon!!!!!
2 items w/Pancit was like $11ish. Taste like quality home cooked style dishes, only difference is that it's the takeout version. I enjoyed the adobo the most. Very nice titas working there, they hooked it up a cup of sinagang 🍲. OoooOweee
This is my to go place for a Filipino cuisine and when I'm too busy or tired to cook. Their combination plate consists of rice or Pandit noodles with your choice of 2 sides for ten bucks. And the portion is hefty and enough for two people. I love their selections, too. They also take orders for lumpia and lechon and do catering for parties.
The best variety of Filipino Food in Chula Vista (south San Diego). The owners & staff are awesome! Food is delicious to eat in, takeout, & catered...experienced all three. A definite "Go To"!
This place is a great place to get Quick Service Filipino food. This place is similar in style to Tita‘s kitchenette. However, I would argue That the quality of food I have here is a lot higher. Just keep in mind that you may want to get here early. They tend to run out of food Towards their closing times say an hour or so before closing. highly recommend to go here as well simply because the price of their food is hard to beat. their two item combo with rice can easily feed two people no problem and it would only cost you $15. like their food in my opinion was so good. I forgot to take a picture of it just chowed down.
Outstanding unassuming Philippine food restaurant. Generous portions of expertly cooked and seasoned dishes. Appears to be a local community favorite
My first experience with Filipino food was horrible, but we came out to Cali and this spot was recommended.. Everything was amazing!! And the servings really are HUGE!! One order of pancit or rice is definitely enough for 2-3 people to eat then just order some meats! We had pancit, grilled chicken, pork, and lumpia!
Authentic, delicious, large portions. Don't let the fact that there are no signs, scare you away from trying the food. Large portions, wrapped super well if you're taking it home and everyone is for the most part, professional and friendly.
Loved it! One of my favorite places. Highly recommended.

Great food and halo halo
I probably ate here 4 lunches. One can share a 2 entree plate order. The food is delicious. It’s trough style and the ladies are heavy scoopers-thank you! My go to order is half rice and noodles with sisig and menudo or dinuguan. Service from the ladies are good. The 3 star is the line out of the door especially during lunch time-not their fault. To give credit the people in line are just patiently waiting for their turn. It’s no frills so the dining area is pretty tight. Overall I would recommend it.
The food truly tastes like home not commercially cooked at all. Every dish feels like it’s made with care and authentic flavors, just like a home-cooked meal. You can tell it’s prepared fresh and with love. This has become our go-to takeout spot, and it’s also our favorite place to order from for parties and gatherings. The quality is always consistent, the flavors are amazing, and everyone always asks where we ordered from. Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort food that feels homemade and special! Salamat po🤗
Best Filipino food in town. Every dish is flavored to perfection and portion size is outstanding. If it’s you’re another race and thinking of trying Filipino food, highly recommend coming here to have great experience. We come here ones a week…10/10!!!
I ordered a pork lumpia tray and vegetable spring roll tray to go for a potluck. They had it ready pretty quick, and the pricing for the pork lumpia really reasonable compared to a lot of places. Food was tasty and my colleagues enjoyed it. Would definitely highly recommend (at least for catering).
Good place to go if you have a craving for Filipino food.
I drizzled Ginataan (Tombo Tombo/Bilo Bilo) over a few scoops of Real Vanilla Ice Cream, sitting on a bed of sliced bananas. Yummy! For lunch, we had half fried Bangus, Pinakbet, Chicken Apritada, Mungo, pancit and steamed rice. ******************** 10-13-25 The Rivera family does an amazing job with their crew. Service is always outstanding and their dishes are delicious, not salty, just right. Today, we ordered Chicken Apritada, Pikabet, Pork Sisig, Bilo Bilo (Tambo Tambo) and Turon (fried banana). Naimas (Masarap)!
Great food, reminds me of the food i just to eat at christmas when my aunts would bring philipino food.
The food here is delicious and big portion.
This place is great. It's never crowded. You can eat your food in peace. The food is delicious and the prices are decent.
If you love Filipino cuisine that is delectable; this spot is flavorful with, so many savory dishes and luscious meals that are delicious and tasteful. Jochi Resto Grill has a very aromatic atmosphere.
Authentic Filipino Cuisine! Adobo, Lumpia, Lechon Belly Pancit, Sisig! I make sure to stop by every time I visit San Diego!

Best Filipino food you'll find in San Diego. Not 5 stars because dining in area is not always cleaned. Take out is your best option.
I've tried most of their dishes, and they give you big portions! Very friendly service and most of all the food is very very good! No long lines, so you get your food right away!
This is definitely one of the best Filipino restaurants in San Diego. I'm addicted to their gilataang bilo bilo! If you're not familiar with filipine or Asian cuisine, that's coconut milk and rice. More specifically, this delicious any-time-of-day dish consists of purple yam a.k.a. "ube", Jack fruit ( bananas or papaya, depending on the variation), tapioca, and sweet little puffs of rice 😋. Try it! Puto, rice cakes are amazing, too!
Squid was delicious. Great veggie lumpia. Lechon is yummy. Bangus was good.
My fiance and I went so I could introduce him to the beauty of Filipino food. The portions were HUGE! We were able to both share one combination plate and still bring some home for my mother to eat as well. They were VERY friendly and were happy to walk through what the ingredients were so we didn't get any surprises.
Despite a lot of people's positive experiences, mine didn't go so smoothly. I've been going around the San Diego area trying different foods and I had a list of stuff. I get in the back of the line and from there it goes downhill as I try to order various things like Bangus Paksiw, Tortang Talong, Tinapa, and Hasa-Hasa. It turns out a LOT of the food doesn't come out until certain hours, but this isn't specified in the menus I found online and in the place itself. Even as I was ordering the small list of food, a customer was rude and mentioned how I should have used DoorDash, but the store is too far to deliver to me, so I chose to come in myself. On a more positive note though. The food is quite cheap, you do get what you pay for, and the servers were quite polite despite the rude customer. Hopefully they can specify this in a future update of the facility as the food is quite tasty and I do desire to come back to get those other items I couldn't receive, but guessing as to when the food I desire to try may or may not be available isn't my cup of tea.
Cheap and large portions, but the place smells of fish. I had the pork adobo, and although the potions are generous, they need to be better at trimming fat and the braising liquid should be more sour.
I picked up food from here for work. The staff is friendly. Service is prompt. The clients that visit here seem to mainly be regulars and hold this restaurant in high regard. Personally, I did not care for the food.
We are a loyal customer of this restaurant and never had a problem. Yesterday was different and disappointing because this lady was not good in putting the $8 menudo full in a medium container. We always order a medium menudo and it’s always full or more than full with the lid aside. They just put a plastic wrap. This time it was disappointing to see it wasn’t full and a lot of sauce for $8 dollars. It was not worth it. And I was charged $5.95 for mongo food. The cashier quickly saw and change the price to $1.75. And she said that the lady was just new. Well, the lady should observe what the other ladies do and ask questions. I hope next time we buy food again, that lady will make a container full without much sauce. They don’t do massive portion anymore and the price is high for a la carte.

I was very disappointed. I had a craving for Filipino food. Tried this spot out. Small portions high price didn’t like the taste of anything I recommend Titas kitchen.
The food is good, but some of their employees attitudes are disgusting.
Got the worst halo-halo I’ve ever had there! Only had one type of fruit in it and very little of that, rest of it was ice and cream, and some purple syrup that’s supposed to be Ube😡😡😡 I went there on April 15 at 5pm in the evening
Tried this food truck several times since our neighborhood often books them, hoping to support local business. Unfortunately, the food consistently disappoints — every dish is excessively salty, with heavy, unnecessary sauces that overwhelm the flavor. The meat quality is quite low, and the prices are unusually high for what you get. From both a health and value standpoint, it’s not a good choice. I’d recommend exploring other options before spending your money here.
Placed an order for a small whole lechon pig a week in advance and was required to pay in full up front. Got a call 3 days before the pickup date only to be told that they messed up and overbooked. This was for a special occasion and so unprofessional. I would never order from here again.
My family and I have been loyal customers for years, always ordering pick-up and choosing their party trays for every occasion. But lately, the service has been frustrating, especially when ordering trays over the phone. They quote one price, then charge nearly $20 more at pickup. When questioned, they claim the person who took the order made a mistake. If that’s true, why not call to clarify? They had no problem reaching out to upsell me to a larger tray so clearly, they know how to contact me. I finally asked to speak with the manager, only to be told she had already left. What they didn’t realize is that I understand Tagalog—I heard one tell their co-worker she was hiding in the back, leaving her staff to handle the fallout from her kuriput tendencies. At this point, I don’t mind driving a few extra miles to Tita’s Kitchenette in National City. If you’ve had a similar experience, I highly recommend venturing out elsewhere!
