This place is addicting & so very good. The staff is very professional & efficient. Carlo is always there with a smile (I can tell even with his mask on). The team always greets you as soon as you walk in & my otder is always correct & fresh. These employees work really hard! Thank you. Kat

Best poke place around! They give big portions and the toppings and sauces are great.

Everything here is super fresh. Service is outstanding and quick. The menu here is simple and easy to understand. They don't charge extra for 'premium' toppings either.

Just moved to the area and wanted to try this place out!! Glad I did!! Food is great fresh ingredients and generous portion sizes.. will definitely be returning

I love this place, but today there was one person getting all the orders ready, walkins and online orders. I order in advance, when I got there my order wast ready, the food is really good, they just need to have more personal specially at lunch time, that is around noon time when I was there. Still giving you a 5 stars. 😀

I gotta say this is the best Poke in town and what makes it better is their staff! Especially Carlo!! This guy right here has the best customer service I have ever experienced and he has always made our poke the best! Highly recommend this place for great Poke and amazing customer service!

Food was decent but they are TIGHT with their portions. I got the 3 fish bowl and the tuna was only about 5-6 pieces and the shrimp was like half of a scoop.

We definitely love that place❤ the fish is very fresh! All The sauces and the adds are delicious! We recommend it! The only thing its that they dont have baby changers in the bathroom either high chairs. So, its not comfortable if you have babys

I absolutely love poki 1/2, have been to every location in southern cali. This place is getting 3 stars because they are the sloooooooooowwwweeeeesttt employees. Have been to this location plenty of times with different employees, same thing, not sure what they are doing wrong. They need to get better organized and build some sense of urgency/faster service . As I walked out today another customer was mentioning the same.

It’s written down. I tried calling for 10 minutes about what they can do about getting my order wrong again (this time they didn’t even add poke sauce! Last time I paid for a regular bowl and they missed 1 whole scoop of fish) but no one answered. We come to this place at least once a week but it’s clear things have gone down hill. No attention to detail and customer service has declined as well. What a shame. Gave 3 stars because once upon a time they were AWESOME!

Food is good, but i downgraded my star review until the owner/manager stops overworking his night shift by leaving them short handed. Having long lines consistently. Make sure you order your food 30mins ahead online because there's not enough people working to support the demand.

Food is exceotional WHEN it is right. The last time I showed up for a group order they messed up literally all eight bowls. Not one single person got their bowl back correct although the person who showed up to pick it up had the Poke order forms and thus didn't need to say a thing. There was really no room for error. We called management and the response was terrible: "If you are present, it is your job to watch the order being made, whether it is written or not." Acoustics of the space is an issue: speaking with someone on the phone is nearly impossible because of this, so you need to order online or go in and stand in line. Its pretty obvious that the workers agree with the phone issue, because the only time they have poor attitudes is on the phone... or in this case with the management: lack of customer service altogether for a big fail. We have chosen to take our business to another location.

On any other day, I would rate this specific location a 5/5. The staff are usually friendly and obviously have fun working together. But today was just frustrating. I usually do call ahead when ordering online past noon because I know this location gets busy and sometimes runs out of certain fish or toppings. Today I call a little after 1:30pm and the phone is answered pretty fast, only there is no greeting. I hear gossip from whoever answered for a good minute before I say "Hello?" myself, and a girl on the other side just says "Hi." I look at the number to make sure I called that actual store and ask "Is this Poke One n Half?" to confirm, and she replies with "uh huh." I tell her I'm just calling to ask if they are out of anything before I make an online order, and she continues to say "uh huh" a few more times, obviously not listening to me, until she said "oh wait what?" I have to ask again until she actually answers. I've never had this expierence with any workers at this location before today.

It tastes good. But I ordered off doordash and they forgot 2 out of my 5 picks for my large bowl. Literally the only things I really wanted. I called them just to inform them and the girl paused and didn't seem like she really cared too much.

Coming to this location is a slap in the face if you care for the environment. Sure they offer tofu., and I am not vegetarian, but whatever, and anyways. I brought my own tupperware to get my bowl, and the lady had to ask someone in the kitchen if that was allowed, and got a hard no. I don't get it. I can go somewhere else next time that doesn't mind my environmental efforts. Plenty other restaurants that don't have a problem with me on this simple request.

This is by far the worst out of the Poki stores. The older woman in front was really annoyed that i didn't know what I wanted right away, She was on the phone then put it down to get my food, maybe she thinks she is better then people because she is a boss. The food was bland and dry, also the portions were tiny. Pokebay across the street gives more food at the same price with better customer service. Lastly, which is very weird to me and the people that came to get food, it smelled like cigarettes coming out of the kitchen while I first went up to start my order. That is the second and last time I will try and eat at this location.

13 dollars for the small bowl, and it was only filled barely half way. I got the salad bed instead of rice and they put probably 6 leaves of lettuce. The flavor was bland and just was not worth the price. I suggest going somewhere else for poke

Their orders are very inconsistent. I have seen people order the same size as me and theirs is about to be over flowing, mine on the other hand is not even half way full---and I get all the toppings! I found that if you place an online order to go pickup it is in even worse because you aren't there to watch them make it. My bowl wasn't even 1/4 full, and when I go to eat it and there's not even rice in the bottom of half of it!!

Stoped in for a late meal. Horrible. If you like seafood don’t go here you will be disappointed. I pretty much paid 15 bucks for a bowl of rice. Hot poke ??? Yuck! I was looking for something light and fresh. Don’t recommend the place at all.

I literally broke my tooth and have proof of this. There was many rock hard garlic pieces. I spoke to the manager about it and just wanted to refund me for one of the Pokes. I know I will have to pay much more than that at the Dentist so I decided they can keep their $15.

Unfortunately, there is one employee who is a mega mask warrior that had a client of mine and I leave because we didn't have one. She said her boss created the mandate and she is forced to enforce it. For management: there is no mandate. If you choose to ask patrons to wear a mask even when it's not actually a mandate you might find that many other people like me will simply walk out. We were maintaining our distance, we were going to dine in (no need for a mask at a table less than 6 ft away from the counter) and here is a weird concept, we weren't sick and therefore can't spread any illness. Response to the reply for management: 1, there were no other customers inside. As a business owner myself I wouldn't turn people away when I have no one else to tend to and 3 (that I saw) employees behind the counter. 2, We were more than 6 feet away from all staff and they were wearing their masks so they would be safe. 3, Neither my friend or I are sick or have any symptoms so there is nothing that we could infect them with. 4, Either you are lying about your policy or your staff needs to be better trained or they simply wanted us to leave. I very respectfully said: "I am sorry, I don't have a mask. If you can provide one I will gladly wear it to place my order" -- Your employee responded: "No, we cant provide any, you can pull your shirt up over your face if you want to order" My friend was wearing a sleeve-less workout t and I was wearing a V neck t-shirt that neither one could be stretched to cove our nose and face, not to mention how uncomfortable and ridiculous it is. This happened after the 1st person attending us had already served the rice in one bowl and the salad in another. The whole interaction might have been better if once I asked my friend (who i had recommended to come here) if he was OK with going somewhere else and he agreed, they would not have said Bye bye in a mocking way. Your response to this will determine whether or not I ever even consider going back.
