Their food is exceptional, and their tacos al pastor are amazing as well as the buches and tripas. The food handlers are cordial and fast. I would highly recommend this over Tacos El Gordo.

It was new years day, so may not have been the best time to come since they seemed short staffed. But ultimately food came at a reasonable time. Came for the carne asada fries, they were pretty good! Crispy thin fries, dollops of sour cream, guac and lots of cheese - the carne asada was bomb. The tacos we might have to come back to try. Ambiance was great, decor better than most taco shops. Plenty of seating and salsa available.

The al pastor tacos I ordered were decent. They tasted good, but the meat was a little dry. The guacamole could have used some seasoning, too. The service at the counter was no thrills at just direct to the point. Prices are less expensive than most places I've been to lately, especially for the tacos.

I ordered Carme asada burrito and beef taco and the taco was horrible burn and old meat and the burrito no so good I don’t like not recommend this place is nasty!!!and the price to high!!!

I had order a milanesa torta, which was good besides the burnt bread, it was just a little too burnt for me and I can taste it. I also had the green enchiladas combo plate, the rice was okay, missing flavor, the beans tasted sour, the enchiladas where just disappointing, no green sauce at all in the enchiladas or outside the enchiladas, like where is the green salsa !?? there was like only two splashes of sauce at the ends of the tortillas and just topped with a bunch of shredded cheese and lettuce. I was looking forward to this, but it just reminds me why I just need to cook my own at home. Then I also had a Jamaica, it was decent, tasted water down. Overall I wouldn’t eat from here again. Maybe there are other menu items that taste greater but these dishes need to get worked on.

So lately I’ve been purchasing and buying lunch and dinner even specials from this restaurant the staff in the front are great and sometimes the cooks can be great but sometimes they lack I don’t know if they’re tired or they just don’t wanna work but lately they’ve been reducing the portions of food from before even they started raising the prices on food Which is uncool. I think they’re gonna lose a lot of clients like this recently in the past couple of weeks were talking in a period of 2 1/2 months their portion has been reduced and they have lacked in filling the containers when you take them separately for example today when a porch is three Tacos of fish and I always tell them everything separate please while today they gave me a small portion and this is not the first time it’s been happening, but today was one of the worst small portion to not even fill up the three Tacos maybe one and a half if anything, but here’s a picture of how the cups have been reduced and the portions have been reduced. I find this unfair and uncool Either you change the cooks or you Straighten them out, but again, let me say this much. The food is good.

The guacamole was watered down, the meat undercooked and just disappointed. This time I went in and got the chilaquiles and again disappointed. The sauce tasted like they dumped a whole can, then I asked for scrambled eggs and got over easy. Like how did they missed that. Then I get slices of avocado and they are not good they got black stains like on half of the slices. Just overall the hype of this places is not it. Should’ve gotten the pancakes cause how can you mess that up. But the staff (female) great customer service.

I live in Imperial Beach so I usually go to the one over here but the El pastor it's not as good so I said let me take a little drive down to Palomar so I won't be disappointed and I will get some good al pastor tacos but I guess I was wrong the only one I think now that is good is the one in Logan but I haven't been there in a while hopefully they're not all going under I really like this place some of the recipes don't match to the others like most restaurants do but it's okay but burnt tacos is not okay if it's a little late but just make sure that the taco is on point this was not one of those days

Ok I decided to try it out otw back home after coming from TJ (Tacos El Poblano ) and just had fire Quesadilla Birria over there to give you an idea of what my recent standards were at. Just happen to stop at dispensary and this place was next door. I couldn't fault them for their name being so close to ole what's his face. I ordered the same thing here and man... Terrible... It tasted like dog food tbh. I just gave it away to some homeless guys outside didn't even bother asking for a refund because the staff was cool and the place was clean ... Maybe something else is good on the menu but for me I just wouldn't ever even try again.
