I think the flavor of the food compensates for the lack of space in this restaurant. Few tables and chairs outside so would highly encourage you to order take out. And not eat here. Prices are fair and the food-price ratio it's quite good. Would recommend to come here for sure

Best Thai food in Chula Vista and South Bay by far. It's not a restraunt. Call, order, and pickup or GrubHub. Very high quality and authentic. Really sweet staph too. You will like them.

I like the tom khar soup, green curry chicken, and sticky rice with mango. I've had the phad Thai and it is ok, but not a stand out, unfortunately. My wife's favorite is pad see ew which is good with lots of umami flavor. Fresh rolls are also very good, served with peanut sauce and a sweet and sour dipping sauce. It's, not the cheapest takeout, but good quality and I end up having dinner and lunch out of an order.

Convenient little place with great authentic Thai food made fresh to order! I call ahead so the wait is minimized. The drunken noodles ordered "spicy#5" with different meat for everyone is a normal order in my family.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Chicken larb is my favorite, along with the mango sticky rice. Yummy! It's only a small kitchen, no place to sit to eat so you order your food, pick it up and go! My kind of eatery.

This small walk up take out is seriously fantastic. They also opened a second location down the street but I haven't been to yet. Don't forget to say hi to Miss kitty and Neal the owners! Great people!

Very small place. If you want to eat there it will have to be outside, otherwise plan on taking it to go. They also have just one means of cooking so it may take a while but it's very good. They will add some spice if you like as well. Mine was an 8/10 and was barely tolerable.

The food is as the name suggests, Fresh! If you enjoy Thai food, this is a must try. Super small joint with little to no places to sit and eat but if you don't mind taking the food home or elsewhere...you won't be disappointed!!

Honestly the best Thai restaurant I’ve had in San Diego. It’s really small inside but the food is great so I suggest pick-up or there’s an outside area for sitting. I can’t wait to go back.

This place is one of the best Thai places I've found in San Diego county. It's this incredibly small takeout joint. The prices are good-- no higher than average, and the food is fantastic. They give you good sized portions-- again about average, and despite having such a small staff, the food came in decent timing. *Be sure to look at the menu in the pictures rather than the online menu since the online menu is outdated!*

This spot is a walk away from my work, i’ve gone here a few times but this time i got the pineapple curry…THE BEST OHHHHMYGAWD this food was so delicious! please eat here 10/10

For the last two years have been enjoying their food. Yes, it's a hole-in-wall size joint but the food brings me back every week. Their Thai tea is spectacular in comparison with all I've tried in the surrounding area. Green & mango curry have my heart, but the entire menu is delicious. Friendly service is a huge plus, too.

Delicious! Really good Thai food to go. We ordered chicken pad see ew, crab pad Thai, sticky rice with mango and large Thai iced tea. Very good food and drinks. Thumbs up. Generous portions. It's mostly a to go place. Two small tables outside but mainly people just pick up and go. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

Don't let this small space fool you, these guys do an amazing job producing delicious authentic Thai food. I love their curries (yellow and panang are my favorites) and my wife swears by the fried rice. And you can't go wrong with a cold Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice! I highly recommend this place for inexpensive, delicious food to all my friends and neighbors.

This is hands down THE best Thai food. Any time I order they make it fresh and as soon as I take that first bite I feel like I've died and gone to heaven. And the staff are so friendly and kind, I've never had any issue with them or my meal. Highly recommend!

The food here is great! The staff was very polite. Recommend calling ahead to place your order for pick up. Very little seating available and it is outside. This is definitely take out. Although I've enjoyed eating outside here.

Small take-out place with quality tasting food. If you want it spicy they've got ya. I like a kick with mine so I got a 6/10. It has a lot of flavor for having that much kick. I couldn't stop eating it! Drunken fried rice A+

Ate lunch here on a visit. Very small shack, with one chair to wait on and two seating tables outside. Got my usual order of Pad Thai and taro boba milk tea. Taste was very good. Four stars only because of how long it took to get my order.

Be careful they aren't open all day they close after lunch and open at 4:00 p.m. not sure exactly what time they close computer says they're open all day at the side I looked at I told them so they might change it. The food was very tasty I had the shrimp panang I've been told by other friends that everything else they have there is great as well. There's really no place to sit there they tried to close the table the girl that took my order is more than a little bit rude but that might be from her laos usual cultureual attitude. Not sure I've been told from a friend who lives there that that's the way the women are there. LOL An older woman who I think might be the owner straightened her out right away. Anyway you cannot go wrong eating here or taking food home which is primarily what they want you to do take it with you. So don't plan on eating there there's never any place to eat inside but there's a couple of chairs outside as you can see tables. You could always walk over and use the tables from Pollo loco LOL. I will definitely be going back the Penang was absolutely great nice portions fair prices enjoyed their Thai tea. Give it a shot you'll love it here or you'll love the food when you take it home LOL

I ordered medium spicy Thai fried rice and tofu green curry. But it was very spicy . Food was very tasty and packed in paper boxes and bags which is environment friendly.

A couple of weeks ago, we ordered Thai from another restaurant and was disappointed. Upon searching I found Thai Fresh with good reviews. Took a chance and ordered from Thai Fresh . Service was quick and food was fresh Spice level was right where we wanted it. Great Drunken Noodles and Green Curry were great. Only hiccup was we requested and paid for extra Chili sauce and Peanut sauce for the Spring Roll. We only ended up with one of each. Will def repeat.

Small place with friendly staff. The food wasn't as spicy as I would expect for Thai food but wasn't bad either. We had Drunken Noodle with Mock Duck and Thai Fried Rice with BBQ Pork.

Ordered two pad thai’s, 1 chicken not spicy and 1 shrimp spicy. They gave me both shrimp and neither one was spicy lmao. Ive been coming for years and the food is pretty good but, no joke, this was the driest shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. For ~$15 bucks a plate you would expect fresher ingredients🤷‍♂️

This is a casual thai eatery, with only outdoor seating, and a menu that is more limited than a regular thai place. There is no room inside to eat, it's a very tiny place that's set up as a to-go place. Prices are fair and the service was fine. I ordered the basil eggplant, which comes with a bunch of vegetables in a sweet soy sauce. Although there was flavor, I felt the quality didn't seem that high, even though the vegetables were fresh...something just seemed off. I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's just an average place.

Went with the pineapple fried rice and it wasn’t the best. Shrimp still had the shell on at the tail end and it’s a rather small portion compared to other places for the same price.

Today’s order could have easily been disastrous. I requester 615p to 645p but it came at 6p. I wasn't supposed to be home yet but good thing I was. You sent it to the wrong address. Not sure how as i’ve ordered many times. Y’all worry me. My dinner almost went to my neighbor.

I don’t know what has changed here in the past 2 months. I and my coworkers were bi-weekly customers. We loved it here but they have lost their care for customers. Food is just mashed into bags. The food is not labeled to desired spice or content. The drinks are given small straws even when it had boba. I gave them 2 months to see if it was a bad day but this seems to be the new norm. I am looking for a better Thai food place in the area to be honest. Many customers from the Hospital and we are looking for a better spot.

Showed up at opening time, Friday 11am. No one was in store. Left after 10mins. I've tried coming here in the past and same issue. Would like to change stars if they were open on the time said they'd be opened.

Just order 3 boba thai teas with extra boba. Boba was gross. Never has boba that bad. $20 for all too. Which i thought was expensive.

The man that works here kept my card and ran it up… There are several charges on my card after he conveniently kept my card and charged me twice. My card was declined at another business and I checked my recent transactions and all charges occurred after using my card at this business. This business should be ashamed and the guy should I be fired!!! He kept my credit card knowing he was going to take down the info and use it.

Literally the Worse Thai food I've ever had. Chicken wings were dry and hard, noodles were sweet, the worst food ever! Gave the rest to the dogs.

Bland bland bland, slow service ..does not have the punch , tanginess or heat typical of Thai food.... disappointed!!!!

We ordered through DoorDash. The problem was not with that service, but the food. I'll go down the list. Pineapple fried rice had 3 Shrimp in it (literally). If you're going to charge more for seafood at least add more than that too it to accommodate the price. I'll start by saying none of the curry or soups were labeled. Was a little confusing to figure out which was which. And we eat Thai quite often. Normally it's easy to just look based on veggies if nothing else, but I'm getting there. Red Curry, normally bell papers and bamboo shoots, easy. (Both the panang and red we're same color) but my red had no bamboo shoots in it, a few bell peppers and carrots. Carrots are not described in their menu at all. Panang curry, ordered it with chicken. There were 5 pieces of chicken in it and a ton of carrots. For some reason skimping on meat is a trend. Tom Kar, normally a nice soup to start off with. Again with the carrots, which are not listed on the menu for this item. Tom Yum, was not at all right. Had cabbage and carrots in it making up most of the soup. Neither veggie is suppose to be in there. It was more of a cabbage soup than a nice brothy soup with mushrooms and chicken. Not sure why they used carrots as filler for everything, or why ingredients were added to items not listed. I understand if you run out of something, like no bamboo shoots I can live with. But I don't want to drudge through cabbage to get to the mushrooms I really love in a soup that is as simple as it gets.

Got it delivered. Pad sew sew was dry, vegetables weren't cooked and egg was one big clump, blah! Tom yum soup was ok. I'm not from San Diego, but I've had WAY better in Memphis Tn or Jax FL and even Gulfport, MS. Not good at all!

I usually don't like giving bad reviews and want to point out that this is not based on the food rather the service. I've been told the food and flavor is good so I drove 20 miles to try it, yes 20 miles(I like to try new places). The drive was only to be told when I was there that they close from 3-4pm for lunch. I totally get it that they need a break but I drove a good 20 miles only to be told "sorry, we close from 3-4" even after I told her I drove a bit just to try their food and it was 5 til 3pm. I'd be nice if they update their lunch hour on their social media and websites so people know not to visit during that hour. It is safe to say we won't be coming back🤷🏼‍♀️ on to the next one.
