Went for my birthday dinner. Made a quick reservation and they were able to seat us earlier than our reservation time! For our appetizer we chose the sourdough service with pastrami, herbed butter, plum jam, creamy ricotta cheese and pickled veggies. It was so wonderful, bread was fresh and warm and toasted to perfection- everything on the plate was so tasty! Then for our dinnwr we agreed to share the Triple tail (3 Lobster tails) and a ceasar salad. It was more than enough for both of us. Everything was delectable. Lobster tails were served on a bed of rice pilaf, fingerling potatoes and tender baby carrots. The lobster was flavorful and tender with butter for dipping and the ceasar salad was flavorful, well dressed with homemade croutons (they seemed to be made of the sourdough). We at every bite of our dinner and still was able to take a bit of the sourdough service home! We loved it all. I can't wait to return to try something else on their menu!

The service was fantastic. We will absolutely be returning to this hidden gem. The food was delicious! My steak melted in my mouth and the lobster risotto had my husband wanting more. We finished the meal off with the salted caramel cake. If you haven't been, please dine here. You won't be disappointed.

This instantly became our new favorite special occasion restaurant. Everything was cooked to perfection. The lobster risotto was our favorite and they didn’t skimp on the lobster with pieces being included in the risotto itself. We also loved being able to watch them cook everything right in front of us.

I literally just walked out the door and I feel high on life. The food was SPECTACULAR and I’m so sad I don’t live here. They have an open kitchen concept that just is so cool. The details of the restaurant are just adorable since it is a house converted to a restaurant. I got the scallop risotto with a lobster tail and it was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Italy.

Everything was top tier! We had an early reservation which gave it a private dining vibe, our server was Kate who we affectionately called “Princess Kate” she was a doll! The sourdough appetizer is a HIT, the cherry limeade cocktail was amazing (I made mine top shelf with Belvedere) and the Chicken Florentine was a very generous portion and mouthwatering good! We ended up taking that home straight away because the sourdough plate was so filling!

I can’t say enough about this place. It was sooooooo delicious! Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The drinks were amazing. We can’t wait to go back again and again to try all the things! Everything was so flavorful! I recommend the corn bread too!

I am having a love affair with my food. We eat a lot of steak. It's our thing, our reward to ourselves, what we budget and save for. We've had a LOT of steaks - some good, some okay. This was the best one I've ever had. Ever. Above all steakhouses, above all 5 star rated, all of it. Next to the steak was absolutely everything else blowing our minds. I don't even LIKE cooked carrots at all and I was in love with these. The happy hour appetizer let us try their lobster cakes - incredible. The pork belly mac and cheese probably ranks lower than all else for me, but to be fair to the mac I was too busy being in love with the sourdough service. My partner also had a mouthwatering lobster tail that rivaled my side of shrimp! Our server Sher was wonderful. In a time where service usually is mediocre or lackluster, she was a shining star! So friendly and helpful. Very attentive. We will be back as often as we possibly can.

All of the food we had here was very good. The scallop starter was well cooked and tasty. We all opted for seafood and it didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately our order was lost so we waited a long time while other people were being served, but they came and explained what happened and apologized and were very transparent of it. They had a great bourbon selection. It was not my favorite old fashioned but the food and atmosphere were great.

Dining at Kindling Texas Kitchen was a delightful experience, akin to eating in an old farmhouse with a quaint and charming atmosphere. The service was outstanding and very personal, making us feel right at home. As and Old Fashioned aficionado, I was particularly impressed by their house Barrel-aged Old Fashioned. It was so tasty that I ended up having three! The portions at Kindling Texas Kitchen are very generous, ensuring that you leave fully satisfied. The Lobster Truffle Baked Mac & Cheese deserves a special mention—it easily ranks in my top 10 appetizers ever. The cornbread appetizer was also very good, though we found the honey butter a bit too sweet for our taste. The grilled shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the ribeye was tender and exceptionally flavorful. However, the highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the lobster tail, which was added to the steak. It was simply perfect. We concluded our meal with the peach cobbler cheesecake. It was a delicious, with just the right level of sweetness. Overall, Kindling Texas Kitchen offers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding service, generous portions, and delectable dishes. Highly recommended!

Food was fantastic, waitress was okay, but for such a nice restaurant the tables and seating felt way too close and compact.

We visited the Kindling Texas Kitchen nestled in a charming 107 year old home in Cibolo. We started with the lobster cakes which, while tasty, left us yearning for a bit more lobster flavor. Nevertheless, we look forward to trying their artichoke dip on our next visit. For our main courses, my husband savored the double cut pork chop with whiskey drunken peaches, mashed potatoes, and seasonal veggies. The dish exceeded his expectations, and I must say, the bite I had was delightful. I opted for the Triple tails - 3 lobster tails served with butter saffron rice and seasonal vegetables. While the lobster was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the pinnacle of the best lobster dishes I've had, though it was certainly a good value for the price. For dessert, my husband relished the bourbon bread pudding, noting its perfect balance of sweetness and rich bourbon flavor. I had the salted caramel cake, a delight to the senses. I found myself savoring every bite. The staff's attentive and welcoming demeanor further enhanced our visit. We look forward to trying other dishes on their menu in the future.

After hearing how good the food was I booked a table for 3 for my daughters party she is getting married this month ordered drinka and snacks then ordered the grilled shrimp it was raw no one asked us how everthing was no one refilled wayer or asked if we wanted another drink I was disappointed taking my daughter their for her bridal party no I had told them why I was I was bringing her their for her bridal party no one even said congratulations very disappointing food

The resturant was cute & cozy! The staff & our waitress was friendly. Food came out quick & hot. (I appreciate that) The hot artichoke dip, I didn’t care for. Maybe try with tortilla chips or toasted bread. The chips tasted a bit stale. The Lobster Truffle Baked Mac and Cheese was just ok. My husband enjoyed the scallops & shrimp. Parking & exiting can be bit challenging. We made a reservation not sure if that’s what you have to do every time.
