100% recommended. The food is delicious, full of flavor, and the staff is super friendly, attentive, and always on top of things. I ordered the red aguachile (be warned, it's very spicy) but it was delicious, as were the green and black ones. The taco gobernador was also great.

A wonderful surprise to find this family-friendly, peaceful spot, without live music (which I appreciate), with attentive service. Upon arrival, we followed Vicente's suggestions, who guided us with excellent recommendations. The menu goes beyond the typical seafood fare. Original recipes, including pink mole (the best I've ever tasted), pair beautifully with the other dishes, and the price-to-quality ratio is truly hard to find. I will definitely return to try the entire menu and enjoy the staff's attentive service once again.

I came here because of the reviews I read that spoke highly of the place. The food is good, as is the owner's personal service. Since we went on a Friday, there was a 2-for-1 Pacifico beer deal (Wow! Awesome!), and my dad was delighted with the live music. Overall, it's a very nice place. I highly recommend it.

The discovery of this restaurant in Coyoacán was a magnificent surprise. Fresh fish, carefully prepared dishes with a superb presentation, respecting the high quality of its products and flavors, and exquisite service from all the staff, especially Vicente, the manager, who gave us excellent advice so we could thoroughly enjoy the meal. The tuna carnitas are highly recommended, and the salmon in pink mole is spectacular. A family-run establishment, tastefully decorated, and very well-balanced quality and price. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place for those of us who enjoy the flavors of the sea in a setting as beautiful as Coyoacán. We will definitely visit again. 10/10

I haven't found a seafood place where I've been more satisfied than Barra de Mar. The flavors of the dishes are excellent (I recommend the ones with garlic sauce). The shrimp broth is delicious, as are the small fish dishes and the empanadas. Definitely a place I'll return to; eating here always puts me in a good mood.

The service is friendly and attentive. The staff is helpful without being intrusive. Keep in mind: appetizers take about 15–20 minutes and main courses take around 30 minutes. I tried the tuna carnitas with guacamole as an appetizer, and it was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. The tuna crackling had a surprisingly perfect texture and paired beautifully with the guacamole. It was a solid and well-executed start. For my main course, I ordered the shrimp a la diabla. The flavor was good, but the presentation wasn't particularly appealing. It wasn't bad, I just expected more spice and a bit more character. The accompanying salad was fresh, light, and helped to balance things out. I also tried the grilled shrimp. Here, the presentation was better, the portion was good, and the flavor was pleasant. In terms of value for money, it ended up feeling a bit pricey for what it offered—not excessively so, but slightly more than you'd expect considering the flavor, presentation, and pace of service. The same salad accompanies the meal and works very well. Drinks are around $70 (beers). In conclusion: The food is good and the place has potential, but what really stands out—and what I would return for—are the tuna carnitas with guacamole.

The place is nice and the food is good; it certainly delivers in that regard. However, the service left much to be desired. I requested a receipt for my order; they told me to send the information via WhatsApp, which I did immediately, sending all the required documentation. Despite following up and requesting it twice, I never received a response or the receipt. Unfortunately, this is a significant issue they should improve, as it negatively impacts the overall experience.

Los platillos son buenos pero nada extraordinario, el servicio es PÉSIMO el host de barba que nos atendió no fue nada atento, nunca se acercó a nuestra mesa a verificar si algo hacía falta. Cada que pedíamos algo no terminábamos de hablar cuando ya se estaba yendo. Entiendo que los platillos tardan pero la espera fue demasiada y eso que solo habían 3 mesas ocupadas incluyendo la nuestra. Si quieres buen ambiente y servicio con personal agradable puedes ir a Fishers, los precios son similares y este lugar no vale la pena. No volvemos.
