The food was delicious. And the service was very fast. Highly recommended.
It's excellent in every way. The food is delicious. The service is very good. The place might not look like much from the outside, but when you go inside and taste the food, it's a whole different world.
Excellent food, delicious lunches with diverse flavors. I give it a 5 even though it looks lonely (I came on a Sunday). I found it incredibly delicious, priced at 100 pesos and up.
Let an Australian chef tell you: definitely go. Great! And as an added bonus, homemade sugar-free bread. Bread that's actually bread...
I found it to be a pleasant place, and I liked the variety of dishes. The service was first-rate. Thank you. I'm inviting some friends over on Friday, March 23rd, 2024. We'll be there.
Excellent place to eat at a very good price. Mario's service (attentive) is excellent. Very tasty food, I will definitely be back soon.
everything is very delicious, 😋, except that when I ordered cochinita pibil, it was very spicy and not that good. But the other dishes my guests ordered were good, like the stuffed chicken breast with chipotle sauce, very delicious. The broccoli cream was very delicious, the rice was delicious, they had some delicious fried plantains. The dessert had 4 varieties, homemade flan, apple or guava with amilbar or rice pudding.
Excellent service and the food is delicious. I've been back twice and the service and quality are the same. Don't let the place fool you; it's a bit basic, but the price and the food are really good.
The truth is, at first glance, the place doesn't look inviting. I'd passed by it 3 or 4 times a week and it didn't look appetizing. But on a recommendation, I went in and the food was delicious, plus the service was very good. The buffet looks very full, but you can order dishes from the waiter and everything is delicious; it just needs a remodel.
I've known it for years, but I feel like the service and variety of dishes at the buffet have slipped a bit. I hope they can improve it because it's a place steeped in tradition. Also, if they improved the lighting and paintwork, it would make the atmosphere more pleasant. Overall, the dishes taste good; what's missing is variety.
Visited on a quiet day just before New Year. The buffet was good, just enough choices to satisfy and well enough cooked to be happy to pay the 150 peso price.
Friendly and already a tradition. It's sad that there's a place in Cuauhtémoc Neighborhood with the same name that has nothing to do with this familiar "El Caminero." Homemade and healthy food. I remember them from 1977, when we lived in Málaga and Extremadura. I also remember a pizzeria. Thank you very much.
Far fewer food options than at Campirano de la Roma, service was good, however, they were unclear about additional charges; the waiter seemed offended when we were served water from a pitcher that he charged us for on top of the buffet. A one-time visit.
I've known this place for over twenty years, and back then the buffet was very varied and delicious. Unfortunately, it's very different now. The facilities are the same, but they obviously need some maintenance, which they haven't received. The dishes are cold, and there are only two salads, both made with lettuce. I ordered half a pitcher of tamarind water, and it was super sweet and clear. I honestly think it was artificially flavored; I didn't like the taste or the appearance at all. The breaded cutlet is made of pork, and so is the steak stuffed with vegetables (it only had a few pieces of squash, that's all). There was cochinita pibil, which was more like chunks of pork in guajillo chili sauce. It's a shame; this buffet, which used to be one of the best I knew, leaves much to be desired.
Horrible and nothing like the photos and posts they use. The lasagna was burnt, the food was cold, half a pitcher of water cost $70, and the fruit was full of mosquitoes. A very bad experience overall and expensive for what they offer. I'm never going back to that place and I don't think they even deserve one star.
I've eaten at this place many times, since I was a child, and it's truly worth it and I really enjoy it. However, I just went yesterday to celebrate a birthday, and we arrived at 4:02 pm, and there was no food left. I asked the waiter if they would be bringing out more, and he said no! And that there were no more shrimp or salad either. I told him it was only 4 pm, that we weren't late, knowing that the buffet ends at 6 pm, there were still two hours to go!! How is it possible that they ran out of food and didn't plan to bring out more? This has never happened to me before, in all the years I've known this place. It seemed like they didn't want to serve us because they didn't offer any alternative other than for us to leave, and we weren't a large group, just four people. Very disappointed, I don't think I'll be back.
The food was quite bad and cold. They serve a buffet, and some of the dishes barely contained enough to serve one of the six of us. There was a hair floating in the water pitcher they served us. The place looked old and dirty. The staff didn't know how much to charge us, and it took almost half an hour to bring the bill because the manager had stepped out. They don't have parking. If you want to enjoy a good meal with your family, don't go to this place.
The food used to be very good and the service was fantastic, but today I had the misfortune of finding an arthropod in my salad. I didn't realize it until the end. Afterwards, the chicken in my enchiladas had gone bad. Luckily, they replaced the dish, but they charged me for the replacement. The service is still good.
