Absolutely love my time dining here🙌🏽
Stopped in early one evening to have a bite and glass of wine. After seating I was informed that they were not allowed to serve wine at that time. Ouch. Ordered the entree platter for something simple with plans to order something else. The platter was delicious and so filling I had no room for anything else. I enjoyed it and would return to try other menu items, but I hope with a nice glass of wine.
I love Greek food and was delighted to find this charming restaurant. The Greek salad was one of the best I've eaten, and I grew up in Vancouver where there are many Greek restaurants. The stuffed tomatoes were delicious, but the chicken souvlaki was dry, hence 4/5 for our meal. I would definitely go again. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience . The ambiance and charm are wonderful.
Really god Mediterranean restaurant , friendly staff and nice place. We had several dishes, the Oktapodi Sri skara as an appetizer, it’s a grilled octopus with olive oil, capers and oregano. The Prasini salta, a salad with pear, pistachios and a really good fired feta cheese with a crust of sesame seeds. And finally the Psari sti Skara, a red snapper filet with oregano, lemon and olive oil. Everything tasted amazing.
Very delicious food with a great street environment. The gyros and feta cheese salad was amazing. The potted plant cake was also very creative. Overall a great restaurant!
Recently went here with the family and had a wonderful experience. Great patio, decor, and friendly staff. The food was great too. Lots of vegetarian options. Felt comfortable, safe and was satisfied. I would recommend to dine here if you like Greek food!
Really great food. English menu and helpful staff. Nice indoor and outdoor seating.
GREAT GREEK FOOD! everything in the menu looked great, it is expensive, but worth it, we had the grilled octopus, the little fried fish, Greek pockets filled with feta and spinach, Greek salad, and for dessert profiteroles served in a little pot like a plant, great service and a nice place.
The greek salad has the perfect balance of acid, salt and flavor and the octopus is always a safe bet 👌
Really delicious Greek food which I was not expecting to find here. The feta in the meat I had was absolutely delicious. I wish I had room for dessert because they serve Greek yogurt with honey. I will be back!
Just try a few this... good to share. And it's tasty as well 😁
Outstanding food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. We love the vibe!
Excellent food, excellent service, one of the best places I've visited this year.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice food, great presentation.
Greek salads is absolutely perfect. As good as Greece. Everything is good here. Love it.
Went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, just before it got crowded. Give the hot weather, we preferred to sit inside, but there were also a few tables outside, in the shade. We shared an appetizer (a tasty eggplant dip) and I had a pan seared tuna, served with rice and veggies. The plate was delicious. The meal felt fresh and light, and it was not expensive. The staff was very courteous.
Located on the main street... cozy ambience. Wanted to try greek food with my cousins and we were not disappointed. Ordered Salmon fillet, tuna and grilled chicken with veggies. Everything on our plate was delicious. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Totally recommend!
Food variety and quality are very good, but the drink menu is the best. Cocktails are particularly interesting. They have, for example, a delicious gin with mashed berries that you should try out if you're into gin.
The best greek food in Polanco. Service and flavors are just amazing. Fully recommended for greek food lovers, or adventurous foodies.
We ordered the mini gyros, Greek salad, hummus, and octopus. The pulpo was absolutely fantastic.
always awesome. amazing patio. veggies and calamari are awesome and lamb chops are good. backlava is huge share it.
Very nice stuff. Took good care of us the food was amazing as well diff recommend.
Great Greek food and fresh fish.
Still one of my favorite places to go in Polanco. Excellent location, great people watching and superb Greek food.
Wonderful place with really great food! Also located in México City best area.
Food is great. Try seating inside to avoid the hordes of beggars that roam through polanco. Try sharing a bunch of the dishes.
Highly recommended. Simple and delicious Greek food. Awesome salads.
It was nice Greek restaurant walkable from JW Marriott. Lot of eating options in Polanco, this place stood out due to its uniqueness, food was good. Many vegetarian snacks or appetizers, entrees or main course is limited, I made meal out of appetizers which were delicious. One can try this place.
Good food (not sure if Greek), the service could be much better.
Decent food and decent prices considering the neighborhood. Beet salad was unexpected star of the meal.
Excellent octopus. Very delicious place.
(4.5) Very good Greek food. Fried squid and aubergines are delicious. Good service.
Very nice dinner. Portions were generous. Everything was good -a little too rich but maybe it’s because we took a starter. The waiter was attentive and explained the food to us. Also, it was Mother’s Day and my friend and I received a glass of Prosecco and a rose. Very thoughtful.
Living in Greece often in my life I feel the baser test of any Greek restaurant is to try a country Greek salad. I did try it and it was good, knife cuts are nice, flavor profile was good. However, as per normal in Mexico, tomatoes have zero taste. I am Mexico City often and I have yet to find a proper grown tomato which is amazing to me. This country can grow everything well. Not tomato’s though for some reason. This is a good place to enjoy Greek food in Mexico
Mythos was good, but the food wasn’t stunning. The service was relatively slow, and I just wasn’t impressed. But it was a cool spot if you can get there early to grab a table outside, otherwise it gets really warm inside.
Food it's really good, totally worth it! Service isn't terrible but quite often they will forget what exactly did you order to drink, sometimes they will forget your drink at all (more than once per visit session), but besides this "little" detail everything else is great, just wish there could be better parking options for the very crowded area.
I ordered the lamb chops and it came with a spinach salad instead of a Greek salad. The lamb chops didnt come with any tzatziki. I ordered some after my meal arrived and it took a long time to arrive.
Great service, really fresh seafood, and wonderful ambiance. And the house wine was yummy!
Staff was kind and helpful. As a Greek restaurant, I would advise sticking to their traditional dishes.
Food is just ok. Prices a bit high for what you get. Service is attentive and friendly. Little gluten free options (risk of cross contamination in the kitchen)
Good atmosphere and service, but the food was nothing special. For the price, the food needs to better than just ok.
Very nice ambience and good service. The food costs were reasonable, with a beautiful presentation, but the taste was only so, so.
Definitly not traditional. Kabob was too dry and over all a bit too pricy for the quality of food.
Unfriendly service, you are constantly attacked by people trying to sell you everything, overpriced. no Mexican wine by glassm
They have problems with their permits so they can’t sell wine 😭 They were also super deceitful telling me it was en extremely crowded place due to its high popularity, pressuring me to reserve at an earlier time than the one that accommodated me and making calls later to confirm my reservation saying they would cancel due to the demand. When I came in we were the only table. 🙊
We’ve been to Mythos a couple of times and really like the food and the ambience. This weekend however 3 out of 5 in our party ended up with bad stomach cramps a few hours after having dined here. We were sharing a number of different plates including the ceviche and the octopus. Such a pity but we won’t be coming back.
This place used to be great and one of my favorite Greek restaurants in CDMX. I went the other day and it was awful. I was with 4 other people and none of us wanted to finish our meals. Not sure if they changed ownership or have new chefs, but was it was a big disappointment. It was 7:30pm on a weekday and we were the only table at the entire place while every other restaurant in Polanco was busy. Hope they fix it soon, I miss the old Mythos.
The food is good, but last time they included in the bill food which wasn’t neither in my order nor in the menu. I noticed that and they changed the bill very quickly. I would not go there because I don’t want to be cheated.
Pricey for what it is. Paid over $1200 pesos for dinner. To get rubbery octopus, a soggy piece of bread with nasty meat sausage in a tomatoe sauce. My mother got something similar. The salad was the best part but overall is very expensive for the quality and taste. Take your money elsewhere.
We came specifically to try the octopus, we asked for it, they told us half an hour. An hour later we reminded them and they told us that it would take 40 more minutes. After making a big deal they offered some nice calamari, and though it did not take away the sensation of being taken advantage of, it kind of made it better.
