I recommend the tacos al pastor: flavorful meat and a generous portion of pineapple. You pay first, then ask the taquero to prepare them for you. Enjoy some delicious tacos al pastor.

As long as the price and the ingredients are adequate, I'll continue to go. I only like the shepherd's cuts. I don't like the shepherd's cuts because it's pre-cooked meat of a different quality. For example, the shepherd's cuts aren't from the trompo; they make them from a different quality that they have on a tray.

My rating isn't meant to be bad; I want to be realistic. The tacos are less plentiful than before, but you can still almost always get lucky and find the meat is golden brown and cooked through. The salsas are passable, but tacos al pastor definitely shouldn't be eaten with salsas… though it could be better. The aguas frescas are good. The lack of an exhaust fan means you end up smelling like grease since you have to stand in that almost solid atmosphere of heat and grease from the griddle… There's no way you won't end up smelling like grease. Even so, it's an experience you have to have to try the tacos; they taste good.

The meat they serve per serving, in my opinion, doesn't have the same flavor or consistency as the meat you get at Taco Directo del Trompo (al pastor). The al pastor tacos taste good, but I've tried better. The service is fast; there are a lot of people, but they serve quickly. I followed a YouTube video; I don't know if I'd go back just for tacos. I'd say if you're in the area, it might be a good option. The prices are extremely affordable, though: the al pastor taco is $16 and the gringa taco is $85 (which can easily be eaten by two people).
