Best pizza in Clifton Park. We heard so many people talking about this spot and boy have we been missing out. When it's pizza night at our house, there is now only 1 option!!
Always a good stop here for pizza. Fast and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable.
Pizza was a ripoff for $24. One topping. Very little cheese. Thank god I had leftover Chinese
It looks like a run down place, but the pizza is really good!!! Perfect crust to cheese ratio too!
Best pizza. Great service. I have been going there for 50 years
Pizza is always on point prices are very reasonable and customer service is very good. I'm glad they take credit card instead of just cash.
Pizza and other food is great. I've been a customer for almost 50 years
the bset pizza in clifton park. but no plqce to eat in the shop. onlt to go its the only defect.
Been coming here all my life! Anything I ever order is delicious! Wings, spuds, pizza, subs, and dinners are all excellent. Love the variety of the daily lunch specials and homemade soup during the cold months!!!!! :)
One word: Spuds. The main reason I keep going back. Everything else is great, but those spuds......bury me with a tub of them, and all the angels in heaven will stare in envy as I'm licking the sauce from my fingers struttin' through those pearly gates.
My family has been ordering for Clifton Park Pizza for over 40 years. Have not once been disappointed.
There's a good reason why they are always busy. It is consistently great. The crust is crispy and chewy, the sauce delicious. No pretensions, it's all about the Pizza.
They have very good food there we go there a couple times a week we loved the pizza and chicken wings and Subs give them a hundred percent
Better Pizza than any of the current places I patronize in Albany Schenectady or Troy, ie crust is not doughy or burnt, topping properly cooked, real pizza sauce, not "ketchup", generous amount of toppings, etc
Love the spuds. The white broccoli pizza is great. I will usually pick up an antipasto salad too. Always fresh.
Always delicious, service is prompt and efficient and the staff are polite and accommodating.
Still the best pizza around ! Been eating there pizza and spaghetti for over 35vl years
Great pizza. Delicious slice. Quality cheese and ingredients highlight the love put into the product. Outstanding
I greatly enjoyed my pizza and subs, thank you!
Best pizza in town. Consistent. Long-running business, I have bought food from them for years. Staff is always polite and efficient.
Pepperoni pizza has always been one of best in Clifton Park. Fresh veggie filled salad & great medium heat wings, too.
By far the best pizza in upstate ny. The crust is delicious. Wings are big and very good. I highly recommend this place.
I’ve been going here for years and keep coming back for more 😁.
Best pizza in town. Love the sauce n tiny chopped up veggies..there is a veggie in every bite..red n green peppers yum
Best Pizza in the whole entire world! I drive 2 1/2 hrs one way once a month or so to bring one home!
Pizza was excellent and crust was done just right - the way we asked. Would definitely recommend.
One of the best in the area. The pizza was good. Crispy, chewy crust with the right amount of toppings. The wings are my new favorite. Nice and crispy with a hot and buttery taste...delicious!
Got a couple of pizzas and wings and spuds. Their food is always great. The parking can be a bit tricky at times since there is only a small strip of parking in front of the building. There is also just a bench inside so if it's busy you may have to wait in your car or stand while you wait.
Great Pizza Don't be put off by the look of this old building. The pizzas are great, the wings are big, and the staff is friendly. One note, bring cash, they don't take plastic. I drive 25 miles from Wilton to get this great food.
This location specializes in carry-out and delivery, but the pie was amazing and the potato wedges were to die for. Thanks for the recommendation I was given by the service associate at the Toyota of Clifton Park. Thank you again!
Great pizza, friendly service and amazing prices. They have the BEST carryout Italian food in the Capital District. If I could give them 50 stars, I would!!!
My favorite pizza (except for a couple of joints you have to fly to Chicago to enjoy.) Yeasty dough makes you feel like you're having a beer with it. The only restaurant where I'll eat a straight-up cheese pie.
I grew up in Clifton Park in the 70s, and have great memories of the pizza here. I was just looking at the town on Google maps, and saw they were still in business! We moved away when I was in my early teens, around 1978.
Great food, great service! 1st time in, and they were so helpful and nice!
Take out only: pizzeria, Italian food , subs. Locally known for its pizza, wings, potato wedges(spuds).
We were looking to try a new local place for pizza so my wife mentioned giving Clifton Park Pizza a try. I didn't even know it was a restaurant. I thought it was just an old house on Route 9. After reading the reviews I figured we would give it a try. When I went inside it saw a bunch of people working behind the counter and a lot of customers waiting for their food and a lot of new people pulling into the parking lot to pick up. It was a really busy place with the smell of old school Italian pizza that's full of flavor. There were a lot of employees working quickly in a small area to fill the orders. You could tell they were old school from the note on the cash register that said " No credit cards only Cash or Check"..... I had to laugh because you just don't see places anymore that even know what a check is..... :) We had ordered 2 pizzas and some wings with spuds. The large pizza is a square pizza and the small pizza was a pretty small round pizza. It was enough for my wife and daughter. My son and I ate the large square pizza and only had 4 pieces left over. Both pizzas were delicious. The pizza has more of a firm browned crust baked well done. It is not the pizza that flops over when you are holding it which is what I usually like. I have to say it was a delicious change from what I am used to eating. Pizza was very flavorful and the wings were awesome. The wings have a seasoning on them which is better than the normal Franks Hot Sauce Wings found at most pizza places now days. They were cooked perfectly and are my new favorite wings. I am glad we gave it a try and we will be going back again soon.
Get the spuds! They are a great treat.
Niagara Falls and Buffalo NY is the epicenter for the best pizza on Earth. But Clifton Park Pizza is like being at home. Great pizza, Delicious homemade lasagna, delicious meatballs and great sauce. Prices are great and the staff is very friendly. They are making being on the road for work a lot nicer for me.
Love the wings and spuds and pizza 🍕
We have been going to the Clifton Park Pizza Shop for years and feel they have the best pizza in the area. Today we got the large pie and Antipasto Salad and they outdid themselves, The pizza was the best we have ever had anywhere.
I think the entire structural ingegrity of the building is held together with grease and you're certainly not going to find any health food here-but if you want the best pizza you've ever had in your life and a pile of great tasting chicken wings that'll make your cardiolgoist angry-this is the place to go! My favorite menu item is their Spuds (potato wedges tossed in wing sauce) with their bleu cheese. It is truly *chef's kiss*
Food was unbelievable Do not let the building fool you, these women are pumping out delicious pizza and wings! I highly recommend
Excellent service and very good pizza. Went with a friend. We both ordered two slices. We were in and out in about 8 minutes. Fast & friendly service. I highly recommend you stop in if your hungry for pizza and in the area.
Having lived in Clifton Park for over 30 years, I have seen many new pizza places come onto the scene and some of them are excellent. But when I want a traditional cheese, sausage, and mushroom pizza, my go to place is Clifton Park Pizza cause it is still the best!
I love this place- I did give the atmosphere a 4 star only because it has no seating, but otherwise it would be a 5 star! It’s nice, quiet family business and the best place to get some good food. I love the pizza and the spuds (potatoes that have wing sauce on them) so darn delicious!!
A strange and wonderful staple of Clifton Park. Was weird when they started accepting credit cards. I thought they'd NEVER do that. Good pizza and wings. Don't get much else there. I do ask to get my pizza "well done" so it has more color because his default is too "rare" for me. ;) Their parking lot is a hot mess though ever since their neighbor properties went commercial. Go with patience and care getting in and out. I once was doing a charity bake-off and needed a ton of 12-cut boxes to store brownies in. I offered to buy them, but the owner just gave them once he heard what the need was. He looks all business and gruff while he manages the Oven, but he's a nice guy.
Have loved their food for 27 years
So I gave the " atmosphere" 3 stars, and thats simply because this is a small shop with no seating for sit down eating. I believe they are strictly pick up only, but don't let that detour you from giving them a shot if you havent been here before. The pizza and wings are absolutely amazing. Even just stopping in for a couple slices for lunch, they have the best pizza around in my opinion. The ingredients, the flavor, and the perfect amount of crisp in the crust. The pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks are always the same, delicious!. I have 2 favorite places in this entire tri county area, and they are tied for my tastes. I have never had sub par food from Clifton Park Pizza, and I dont think I ever will. I have gotten pizza and wings as well as motz sticks from every shop around here, and haven't been impressed with the others. I have ordered from C.P. Pizza for many years, and have never been disappointed. They are simply just the best in Clifton Park if you ask me, they do an amazing job and will continue to get my business.
Great pizza. I crave it. I may be a bit bias because I grew up in Clifton park when there were much less people and my parents used to get us this pizza. BUT, this pizza is SO good! The toppings they put on are generous and they spread the sauce and cheese right up to the edge of the crust (I don’t eat crust alone). Furthermore, the pizza sauce is very tasty and the dough isn’t too thick. Always my favorite. Just look at that picture I have up. Delish! The building may be old but don’t let it trick you!
Before I start getting chewed out by anyone, Atmosphere is a 1 out of 5. Care to guess why? There is no atmosphere. You order, you get it, you leave. Oh, and it's cash only. No credit cards, no bitcoin, nothing crazy. The whole establishment exists for 1 sole purpose: to provide pizza and pizza type staples one would come to expect from a pizza establishment. For every corner cut to make this place a pickup only establishment, it's for a purpose. That purpose is to provide some of the BEST pizza and some of the BEST hot wings in the area. Their wings, honestly have incredible kick and some outstanding spice to them. The pizza is incredibly balanced with their flavors. Not too sweet on the sauce, not too much garlic, dough is just right. A decent laughing point, though, is their wings. I've never heard of wings and spuds. Ever. It's good, actually. Incredibly good. Great combination. I'd have never thought to put the two together, but that's my own limited imagination. 10/10 love this place.
They are the nicest people and their pizza is really good!!!
SUPERRR great service & tasty food for good prices! I had no idea what a spud was, and the staff were so nice in explaining. & then preparing my full order in under 15 mins! Will definitely be returning.
Wings and spuds! 6 years after my initial review, I brought a friend to try out the wings and spuds. Delicious!! Oh my God, so good are actual words that were said. I got the boneless, he got the bone in and both medium heat. I'm all for buying a big order of spuds by themselves as a side dish for breakfast, lunch or dinners to come. No eat in sitting but that's okay.
I don't know what they do to their sauce but it's delicious. We like both the 8 cut round and the 12 cut square pizza with pepperoni. I love the spuds but wish they were saucier.
We've been buying pizza at CP Pizza for the last 40 years. We haven't lived in New York state since 1988. My wife still remembers the phone number by heart. Whenever we fly into Albany to visit family/friends, she orders a pizza when the wheels hit the tarmac. Sometimes, we'll also try to get one when we're leaving. That's how much we love CP Pizza.
Don’t let this small pizza shop fool you, most likely the best pizza I tested in a while, it was nicely cooked and crunchy where it needed to be. Customer service was amazing, she was very understanding of us changing some things on the order last minute. The establishment seems cleaned, but I think it’s a historic building so it may need some repairs.
This is a great local pizza place in Clifton park. On the way down visiting my brother-in-law we always get pizza from these guys. Nice thin crust delicious sauce and very cheesy. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Broccoli pizza is very good. Can't beat their lunch deal. They do not deliver though
Best pizza and wings in clifton park. The blue cheese is even better. So far the only bad thing that wasn't good was the"bucket" it was the worse sausage and meatballs I have ever tasted. Just stick with pizza and wings here!
I've had their pizza, subs and dinners - all were outstanding. The best. I would give it 5 stars were it not for the somewhat distant, stressed out, unhappy (?) counter help.
First time here, I thought it was what you would expect from a pizza place. Pizza was good, average size pie, average price for a take out only pizza shop.
Fair Warning this place is CASH ONLY!!!! It doesn't say it on the website nor do they say it's Cash only when you call either. And it's pick up only as well. They never deliver. So if and when you order from this place, always remember to bring CASH because they won't remind you!
I just moved to Clifton Park from Cali looking for good pizza after 6 weeks of being here I found one that actually tasted good. The removal of one star is becuase its too oliy for me.
Pizza cold but surprisingly tasty wings with spuds was excellent like perfect !! I had the mild it was great flavor 4 stars because they never heated up my pizza.
We were told by some locals to try this pizza Eatery out. Their cheesy garlic bread was excellent just like homemade. Their pizza was square and thick and just not what I expected. Flavors were a bit off, and sauce was a little bit acidic. Don't really like the whole cash only thing for today most people carry cards.
We ordered a pizza on the Fourth of July and the crust, sauce and cheese were delicious, the only thing I found was that the extra mushrooms we ordered were clearly canned mushrooms poured on the top. I’m not even sure if they were baked with the pizza, they looked like they had been poured out of the can after the pizza was cooked. Regardless, most pizza places use fresh sliced mushrooms and this would be a huge improvement In the quality. Overall though couldn’t complain because the rest of the pizza was so delicious. My husband is the one who went to go pick up and they did not charge him for the order because the first pizza got burned in the oven.
The pizza was great, but the boneless chix tenders were better after a second bake.
I stop by on occasion when in clifton park to have a slice and take a couple with me . I like the thinner crust with a crunchy texture. I tried the tomato pie pizza (first time I saw it there), and it was very good. Different than the tomato pie in schenectady's little Italy, as it is a thinner crust, but good. I have not tried anything but pizza, so my review is for only pizza. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This pizza shop is a take out only .
I liked the seasoned wedges. The wings were good as well. Pizza had a good amount of sauce and cheese but wouldn’t beat the very top of my best pies. Try it for yourself and make your own determination.
The pizza was good and it was ready for pickup pretty quickly. They only take cash though and the was no information about this online, nor did they tell us on the phone.
The pizza is awesome. I don't like there sausage at all, I don't like the pasta dinners either, very bland
Don't think I've ever gotten a bad pizza from here in the 24 years I've been patronizing the establishment. Be aware if you're looking for a place where you can sit, be served & eat; this is take-out only. Only negatives are it's cash only & no delivery. But the pizza is worth those two small inconveniences.
Ordered pizza this evening, as we often do. Really enjoy Clifton Park Pizza. But, today it was lacking in sauce, I pulled the topping off and there was a very, very small amount of sauce...it was like they ran out of it..and tried stretching it out as much as they could. Also, the onion is usually sliced, today it was chopped. Just not their usual :(
They have pretty good food. The spuds are great, pizza is good, although not nearly as good as it used to be. Prices are a bit higher than most other pizza places around. It is a shame that they only take cash, the majority of people only carry cards. There is an ATM onsite which charges a $2.25 fee to get money out. Seems a bit like a way for them to milk extra money out of their customers. It's very easy to accept debit and credit cards these days, all you need is an iPad. This place needs to jump into the 21st century.
First of all… the wings are the best. Unfortunately, when calling in an order for the Pizza & wing special. 12 cut cheese, 20 wings and 2 liter, the price was almost $10 more than advertised on the websites menu. $45. Cash only, ATM out of service. Please update the menu on your website. Until then, inform the customers of the significant increase when they call in an order. I know there’s a disclaimer on your menu regarding price, but we’re not talking a a couple dollars.
This place was near our hotel and still open, so we decided to try it out. This is not a sit down restaurant, but rather a pick up and go place, not sure if they deliver. This place looks a little run down outside, but it was late and the inside was charming. The staff was super friendly with all of my questions about their menu. We ordered an 8 slice pepperoni and 10 wings and spuds. The pizza was about 12 inches, the crust was perfect but I thought it was too greasy. My son liked it like that, so to each their own. I ordered the wings and spuds with garlic butter sauce. The sauce was more butter than garlic, but fried perfectly. Added bonus: loved the puns on their chalk board with the specials.
We ordered from here last night...the pizza was great, but the boneless wings were some of the worst we have ever had! Stick to JUST the pizza!!
I enjoy the food, but both me and members of my extended family have had SEVERAL!! poor experiences with the deminor of the older woman taking orders on the phone and after a while we just got sick of the disrespectful mannor in which she spoke
What happened to this place. The food here use to be straight smack. I'd been away for a while and when I came back, the food I got was a far cry from the food I remembered. Deeply disappointed. Not saying it's bad, I would describe it as 'Meh.'
Ordered an 8 cut pizza and 10 wings today 9-7 at 5. Went to pick up the order the girl tried to hand me a 24 cut pizza and 30 wings. After giving her details of my order she put it back. At this point I should have realized this girl didn’t know what she was doing and had an attitude, got home medium wings had no sauce at all called same girls answered the phone told her the problem and here’s what I got a sarcastic “ok”!!! Great pizza employee needs major work!!!
Strike 2 in 2 weeks. Let me start off by saying love the pizza , but the last two consecutive orders were wrong. Have been getting the same pizza here for over 25 years and have never had this problem. We order a 12 cut pizza with sausage and onion on half and peppers, black olives, and mushrooms on the other 1/2. Last weeks pizza came as cheese on 1/2 and peppers onions mushrooms and olives on the other. This weeks came with only sausage . Tried to check the receipt but could not tell just the total amount showed. Very disappointed in the quality of service will try again but will be checking the pizza prior to leaving the shop.
Ordered it tonight. No lie it had 0 flavor. Bland City. My wife and I were commenting that a freezer pizza would have been better. I respect the establishment they are a home town favorite. If you are one of the folks looking to try this place consider this a warning that the pizza is a dud
Have been going here for years and now the quality has just become so poor. Just got a pizza with sausage. It had hardly any sausage (like 6 pieces on a large) and there was very little sauce and hardly any cheese. For 24.00 it’s a rip off.
Ordered a large antipasto which was barely enough for my 6-year-old grandson, toppings are half of what they used to be, and prices are three times what they used to be.
We ordered two pizzas, a 12 cut with half mushroom and 6 cut with onions and peppers. We asked for well done and it came underdone and chewy. The sauce was bland and the mushroom seemed out of a can and thrown on top of the pizza after it was done. We have gotten take out there many times but this is the last and we will not go back.
I ordered some extra crispy wings, they weren't crispy at all. I came to pick them up and they had the container in a clear plastic that was tied at the top just letting the wings steem in there. That probably hurt the crispiness. No blue cheese or veggies just some really gross looking potato wedges. The sauce was good though it had like a carrot and celery taste in there that I liked. I'm never going to get wings here ever again it was almost $17 and I don't even want to eat em.
Pizza excellent as always. Order two different flavors of wings tonight they put them in the same container with potato spuds. Everything was the same. There was no difference in wings and they didn’t add even blue cheese and then charge me 30 something dollars for the whole meal. Pretty disappointed today
Used to be fantastic! Lately quality went WAY downhill! They’re either forgetting food, (like tonight) after reading the order back, or mixing up bbq chicken with Buffalo chicken. Or they quote you a 35 minute pick up time, and don’t even start your order until you’ve arrived, AND PAID! After 20+ yrs of ordering from here, I’m done. No more paying premium prices for sub par service and food
Supper dirty inside. Very greasy. Extremely overpriced. The prices have all gone up and they won’t tell you until your ready to pay.
We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza on 7/3/18 and it had chewy, dry, tasteless chicken. We couldn't even finish our slices.
This place used to be good about 15 years ago..asked for extra crispy wings, they came soggy. 3 little spuds instead of 6 like is should have. Pizza had more sauce then cheese on it and also soggy as ever. Couldn’t even pick it up without everything falling off.
Ordered from here today, pizza was dried out and gross. Just dry, old, no flavor pizza. We had one large cheese and one large buffalo chicken pizza. The chicken was very dry, crust has no taste. Dominoes is better than this
Parking was absolutely horrendous, when i did end up parking and i got my food it smelled so good. That was till i got back home and i opened up the pizza and looked so nasty. The crust was thin, cheese barely covered the sauce. I decided to give it my best shot and eat it. The pizza was just as nasty as it looked, the sauce tasted like tomato sauce with no seasoning. We had also gotten bbq wings or so i thought. I had maybe 3 wings in the 1/2lb of wings, the rest was potato wedges caked in some nasty bbq sauce. The topper was the cheese garlic bread that tasted like a hard grease pit. And somehow the liter of soda i got was flat? Definitely don’t recommended going here unless you want to waste money.
I got violent food poisoning from a salad I ate here 2 weeks ago. Pizza was fine and my boyfriend had it, but the salad was the only thing that was different in what we ate that day. A good 36 hours later I was vomiting my brains out. 1) send OSHA here immediately, improper food handling is to blame and 2) don’t go here (: To those who work here, if you leave food out for over 4 hours at 40°F or more bacteria grows exponentially. Sorry -5/10 can’t recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WARNING: the online menu does not reflect actual prices. I ordered the 12 cut cheese, 20 wings and a 2L and the cost is now $45. I was told 20-25 minutes for pick up. Waited nearly an hour. Wings were soggy and cold by that point as they were done and sitting in a bag long before the pizza was finished. Pizza was floppy and barely cooked. Very disappointed.
