Loved it! Salsa was roasted and not too spicy nor bland; staff was super friendly! Food was delicious-ordered shrimp burritos and steak fajitas. Had awesome pineapple margaritas. Prices were fair and if we are ever out this way again we will absolutely return!
Food was incredible and service was great! I forgot to ask the name of my server, but the receipt said Maria. She was very sweet and warm. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommend it!
We order takeout from here at least twice per month. The food is always delicious and it is safe for me (I have celiac disease - they have gluten free options and I've never been sick from them). Tonight our food was *somehow* better than ever. The rice was seasoned to perfection, the chicken was all perfectly cut, chips extra crispy and fresh...and even though they ran out of tortillas they gave us an extra side of beans and rice to make up for it. Always good, always fresh, my #1 go to for takeout nights. They have never missed and we have ordered at LEAST 25 times!
Friendly staff. Authentic Mexican food. Cheerful decorations (feel almost as if I'm back home). Had guacamole made at our table (never had that before) & it was super yummy! Also, their quaso (terribly misspelled, sorry) was AMAZING!!!! (We were calling it Mexican fondue). My husband & I have been here several times & had enjoyable visit each time
Great menu choices, excellent service, delicious margaritas! Get the housemate guacamole, its the best!
Super fun atmosphere and delicious food!!! Our server Euclides was so friendly and constantly checking in on us! The Churro Martini off of the drink specials list was top notch. Will be back for sure
Best Mexican food I've had since a tiny family run place in Arizona. Everything was more than excellent, more than we could eat, and service was prompt and friendly. Going back next week to treat my grandson.
I had their chimichanga and my wife had the 3 birria tacos. Both were sooooo good. And the house quaca ranchero is fantastic. Hand down i will come back.
Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I can't get enough of it! The staff is always friendly and they always have a smile on their faces! Great environment and great people!
Fabulous Friday evening in the patio..... terrific service, delicious food, and great atmosphere. Wonderful experience! We'll be back soon.
Food was absolutely phenomenal. Service was spectacular. Soooo much food and not that expensive.
The food was absolutely delicious, the waitress/host was great, and the music was top notch. I love this place, and I wish it was closer to home for me. Spent 60 for two folks, but that's because we got an app in addition to two entrees. The serving sizes are humongous, in a good way.
This was the best Mexican experience I've had in a long while. I'm a big fan of other restaurants in the area, but this beat them all. The sangria was perfect. Homemade chips and salsa we're good. Ask for the spicy salsa if that's your thing. There was a guy who made fresh guacamole right in front of you, (extra fee). Good was tasty, well-portioned, and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back. -- Update: We have come back multiple times since our review. The food is consistent and always hot and tasty. The homemade salsa is incredible when it comes out fresh and warm. That was a nice surprise. The margaritas are as tasty as the sangria.
This restaurant is so amazing!!! Affordable food and generous portions! 💗🌟💗🌟💗
The best grilled fish tacos I have had in the capital district.
Really good food! Friendly service so Accommodating. was our first time eating there and they made you feel as if we have been going there forever. Lots of room !Great place to eat.
The restaurant is attractive, the service was attentive, an extensive menu, very large portions, and good food.
Awesome atmosphere. Extremely magnificent service. The Taco al pastor was so scrumptious!
Went there last night. We ordered grilled quesadillas. They were tasty. The sides that come with it... lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole were all fresh. Our server was wonderful. She was very attentive. The music was nice and was not too loud. Overall a great experience.
They set up s buffer on the patio for a birthday party. The food, wait staff and atmosphere were lovely. Enjoyed everything.
I absolutely love Mexican food and have been to almost every Mexican restaurant upstate and I can confidently say that Sabor Azteca is by far my favorite, hands down. The staff here are wonderful — they’re friendly, quick, and always accommodating. I have dined here many times, and it never disappoints. Tonight, I had the pleasure of dining there again, and my server, Trish, was simply lovely and so much fun. I had a few special requests (which were probably a bit annoying), but she was incredibly accommodating and made the experience delightful. It was a pleasure meeting her, and I can't wait to go back again soon. I highly recommend Sabor Azteca! They even have vegan meat, along with every other kind of meat and seafood option, so there's something for everyone. Definitely check them out!
Came here on a Tuesday evening. Not very busy. Were served chips, salsa and water relatively quickly. Food also arrived pretty quickly and was flavorful. Portion sizes are large.
My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. She had been here before and wanted me to try since we were in the area. It was lunch time and there weren't many people when we arrived. The place is clean, festive and cheerful. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful. The food and drinks were INCREDIBLE! Nice place... We'll return again for sure!
Always good food and service. No pics as ate the food. Next time. Try n save room for a change banana. Favorites are Maria, Norma n Mariana is moving up. Thurs is bogo sangria. Went there another Thursday. Usually can find me there thursdays. Their chicken tortilla soup is great. Meal unto itself. Must be full chicken breast shredded. Couldn't start the main course. TRY THEM. Great pollo n chipolte. Possibly their best dish. 👌
Fantastic job and food recommendations by Norma the bartender. House made Guacamole perfectly balanced and the Pork.was tender and tasty
Always our go to spot for authentic Mexican food. Never have had a bad item on the menu. Food comes out hot and always fresh. Service is always friendly, accommodating, and love the table side freshly made guacamole. They have a beautifully decorated outdoor patio that is awesome for private parties. Patio can easily hold 30-35 people comfortably. Highly recommend
Hands down and amazing experience! The atmosphere, the staff, the food, everything paired well together, my wife and I ordered two separate dishes she got the seafood quasadilla, and i got the fajitas! Both were absolutely amazing with flavor, talking about flavor the salsa was amazing and nice and smokey if you know you know and if not ya gotta find out!! Last but not least (save the best for last) the guacamole being freshly made at our table was what put the cherry on top, the service was outstanding and the staff were all cheerful and treated us like family right off the bat! We will be coming back again and again, and if you are reading this I highly recommend you and your family come and enjoy the food you will not regret it. Thank you Sabor Azteca Family!
Located in an old Ruby Tuesday location this Mexican restaurant opened in the middle of the spring of the pandemic. The food is delicious, wait staff friendly and all safety protocols are followed for those of you who are concerned. There are booths and tables available. The booths have signature wooden boards dividing each of the booths. Even after this "pandemic" is over, there will be privacy between each of the booths. Guacamole is made at the table on request...a nice touch. Drinks are plentiful and nicely made. My bloody mary was huge and made to please. We will definitely return for another date night.
Best Mexican restaurant in Clifton park! Food is always good, huge margaritas for the price and the queso is 10/10
This place deserve five star 👌🏻 Lesli was our server and we appreciate her swift service and customer care. I got the Guadalajara Special which was a great combination of tamale, nachos, and both chicken and beef. The drinks were also delicious! They had plenty of parking at the corner of the shopping center and the atmosphere was bright and colorful. I’m looking forward to coming back with friends and family sometime in the future for their dinner service!
Went last night for our anniversary. They do accept reservations. Attentive and friendly service. Guacamole fresh made at the table. Homemade salsa and fresh warm chips. Delicious margarita! Reasonably priced Corona. Food we ordered was all delicious! Reasonable prices. We will be back!
My first experience with Mexican Street Corn, and it won't be the last! Been quite sometime since I had a hankering for some Mexican cuisine, but seeing Sabor Azteca on my trips through Clifton park I was curious enough that I began to check out their menu online. Ended up going with an order of the House Chimichangas and the Elotes Preparados (Mexican Street Corn), coming to around $34 total for everything which included a bag of chips and salsa. Not too shabby. Once home, which even with the 45 minute drive there, everything was still perfectly warm. I immediately tried the corn and was very surprised at how good it was, like corn on the cob but way better. The blend of flavors, cheesy, sweet, and tart, really had quite the punch. This might be the only way I eat corn on the cob going forward. The Chimichangas weren't anything to skimp over either, being stuffed to the brim with shredded chicken (my choice), a generous helping of ranchero sauce and cheese, and they got my requests to swap out the included tomatoes with onion and the guac dip with a bean and cheese dip which went fantastically with the chips. The Mexican rice was tender and very flavorful, and when mixed together with the shredded lettuce and some of the sauce from the Chimichangas; made for a delicious salad. The only "negative" thing I could say about my whole experience was arriving at 4:00PM to pickup, I found my order was still not ready and I had to wait an additional 7 minutes. Not a big deal, especially given how awesome it came out, but something to be aware of that you might have to wait a tad bit longer than the ETA. But if it means hotter food, I'll take the wait. A big thumbs up from me, recommended to anyone wanting some yummy Mexican dishes.
Adorable patio to eat out in the nice weather, great service, and great food. The 2 for 12 mojitos were delicious and a huge steal as well. Its too bad this place isn’t drawing more of a younger crowd because it runs circles around la fiesta in food and service but atmosphere was quite empty and family driven for a Friday night.
Delicious food in a clean place served by staff who care. Top tier free salsa too! The tables have a beautiful logo on them. My Mom seemed to think they were painted on, while they look engraved to me. We made a bet in it, loser buys lunch. After pounding down some of my taquitos, the waitress came to see how we're doing so I asked about the tables. My Mom couldn't believe the waitress when she said they were engraved. I felt bad about it, so I still bought lunch 👍 Highly recommend the taquitos. Quesadillas were good but the taquitos were great!
The food was delicious, the staff was excellent, and the price was fair.
So, if you choose not to read the entire review, I will sum it up as one of my top five Mexican restaurants. I love Mexican food and have it most weeks at home. Born in Los Angeles, my family grew up on Mexican food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would guess we had Mexican well over half the time. So, when I go to a Mexican restaurant, it is usually a letdown, and I go thinking I know what to expect because they all are the same and the food tastes the same. Well, Sabor Azteca is different. They make their Chips and salsa from scratch on premise. Their Mexican rice is the best I have ever tasted. Their flan is made from scratch and was amazing. I ordered the Grande Azteca. It was only $16.99 and came out on three plates. You can see the picture below. However, quantity rarely is my measuring stick. The quality usually is, and it was great. The meal was five items, and of them, the Chile relleno was my favorite. My wife got the vegan burrito a la Diablo, and she loved it. Oh, did I also mention that they make their refried beans in-house as well? I think it is all fresh cooked. In fact, it's a funny story... We asked one of the wait staff why there were green spots in our chips and found out that is because they make the green and yellow chips in house and some chips will have a little of both in them. If it is not too obvious, we will be back. Came back again. Music selection is also great. I also have more favorites. We are still coming back. Attempting to try everything.
Excellent, food was hot, bar tender very friendly, and manager on top of things. Most food at Mexican restaurants seem to be prepared ahead of time, come out very quickly, and are like warm. Will definitely be back.
The lunch buffet is amazing value. Really good service, fresh chips and salsa, and couldn't get enough of their pork dish with a green sauce. The pork was so tender, and the sauce was delicious. Can't wait to go again!
Severely amazing food! We've eaten at many "authentic"Mexican restaurants and this one beats all of them!!! The portions are amazing. And tastes like home. Definitely worth the price you pay and the atmosphere is cozy. The staff are so friendly. Definitely coming here for now on!
We have been here multiple times and have always had good experiences. Everyone is very friendly. The place is decorated nicely, the food is delicious and is spotless. They are constantly cleaning. Janeth was our most recent waitress and she was fantastic. The guy making the tableside guacamole was very nice. We were greated with a smile from the hostess. What more can you ask for?
What a gem. Not in 15 years, and ESPECIALLY since Covid, have I encountered a service staff, from the instant I walked through the door until the moment I left, who treated our entire party not just as restaurant guests, but as friends. I've had good service; I've had EXCEPTIONAL service. But this was on another level, for our entire party. That aside, the food is remarkably good... I will be back, frequently.
My son had his birthday dinner here because he heard from friends you could eat cactus out of a lava rock bowl. He loved it. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much that we returned for my birthday. Cannot recommend this place enough. Service and food are always excellent at the restaurant, but they offer delivery as well.
Had a great meal here a few weeks ago. The waitress was very nice, friendly, and prompt with service. The food was delicious - tacos al pastor. My wife loved her meal as well. We will definitely be going back. My only complaint was that the chips weren't salty enough, but I love salty chips.
First, there is new management so if you haven't been in the past year and a half, it's a whole new experience to have, so go, quickly 👍 Took me three days to get out of the euphoria this INCREDIBLY AMAZING Mexican restaurant left me in. Couldn't find words to describe our experience there, and all we can say is. WoW. From our first interaction with a staff, we felt warmly welcomed and valued as a customer who hadn't even been seated or ordered food yet. The greeting, the warm welcome, and the resounding assurance from the manager (forgot to get his name) that our first time there would be simply be amazingly mindblowing, and boy, he wasn't lying. The ambiance and decor are all of Mexico's heart and spirit in all its grandeur and culture. As we sat, we couldn't help but gaze at the awesomeness of the place and how much thought and passion was put into decorations. Trish, our waiter (shout out to You) was just amazing, and took time to talk with us about menu and drink choices to make sure we got what would be best for our appetite and mood. The food portions were more than we expected and had to take home leftovers after being so filled with sensual deliciousness of choices 😋 The whole experience was just mind-blowing, fulfilling, warm, and utterly beautiful. This is now our number one Mexican restaurant and there's no other like it. We will be back often. Big shout out and Thank You to the new management for stepping up the restaurant game 👌👏🫶 Highly recommend this a thousand times as a great place to eat and enjoy with small or large company of people. Tell them I sent You 🤩
On our way back from Lake George, an opportune place cropped up in our searches for Mexican cuisine - namely Sabor Azteca. Located in Clifton in a regular plaza right by the highway (convenient for our on-wards journey), we decided to stop by for lunch. Upon entering the rather large establishment, we were greeted by a bubbly waitress and walked by a buffet with bottles lined along the top before being seated. It appeared that there was a sizeable patio too, which I reckon would get busy enough during evenings for dinner. We were then handed salsa with warm tortilla chips which were great. In addition we ordered guacomole that was served in a stone heavy base from which it was crushed and prepared. We ordered a variety of dishes including crab torillas, quesadillas and empanadas. All of which was authentic and excellent in flavour. This was accompanied by a fruity and strong alcoholic beverage recommended by the waitress that my wife enjoyed. All in all, a lively and colourful interior matched with good food and drink made for an excellent stop for lunch!
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Staff was great, and the food was better. I sat at the bar, and was greeted right away. I got the fajitas, and the house margarita which was great. Needless to say, there wasn’t any leftovers. This place also has outside seating, which is nice. If you like good Mexican food, this is a must stop place!
The food never disappoints. ♡ our service this time around was a bit lack luster. It wasn't super busy, which was great, however I had my dad and his wife with us, so I was hoping for the amazing experiences we've had there before. Hopefully they will visit there with us again and they can see why we love it there. My dad raved about the blackbean soup... UM YES - you need to try this and add it to your life!! They need to bring back the TRES Leche tho - just a suggestion 😋
Great service. Delicious food with many choices. Frozen margarita was awesome. Really an outstanding value. Interior is standard suburban restaurant decor. Nothing too exciting. But they'll make you some fresh guacamole at your table. And the portions are very generous. Definitely will return.
Yes, there really is a Mexican Buffet here! It's not flashy but it has everything you'd want for a flat fee of about $12 (use cash for a slight discount). A variety of steak, chicken, beef, toppings, shells to put them in... some pre-made items and queso is included too! Eat as much or as little as you want, it's high quality fresh food, you can build it exactly how you like, and more variety than ordering a single item off the menu. They were really attentive from the moment I walked in - greeting me with a smile, bringing me to a table, recommending the buffet (I was already going to), taking old plates, refilling water, refilling the buffet. In and out within about 30 minutes - could have been quicker if I ate less! For those that don't know, this building used to be a Ruby Tuesday. Thankfully they did not remodel so it still has the same vibe. The buffet is on the old salad bar, so it brought back some good memories even though it's different food. They did add a lot of mexican decor items and play appropriate music, it's a really great atmosphere in here. Great idea to add the branding on the tables, then every time someone posts a picture of the food, everyone knows where it's from. I noticed on the way out that they also have an outdoor patio for days that are not hotter than a sauna on mars! I'll be back pretty regularly, as it's a lot better deal and better quality than the Taco Bell across the street. I just wish I had found it sooner. Go now! (or the next weekday at lunchtime)
I've never had any bad food...but never had anything that wowed me either. It's definitely ok. If you're having a few margaritas, you probably won't even notice. Our waitress last week was great though. Very attentive and we really couldn't have asked for more. Oh...and It still feels like an Applebee's inside 😂
The food was pretty good. I would recommend ordering spicy if you can handle it. Quantity is good. My personal favorite was the dessert. I got a chocolate lava cake. For $6 it was worth it. I make sure to get one at whichever restaurant has it available because it’s my personal favorite no matter where I go. Service was decent. I would pick a different place to eat next time though.
It was quite unusual walking into the old Ruby Tuesdays to have dinner at the new Mexican restaurant that took over the building after Ruby Tuesdays closed. Other than some new decorations, some new light fixtures, and new curtains, the place looked pretty much the same. It even had the old salad bar there now acting as a display for some of the beverages they serve there. I was hoping for some wow factor walking in, but unfortunately there was none. The staff seemed nice, but not overly enthusiastic to be there. It was a nice touch when we had fresh guacamole prepared at the table. Like the salsa, it had a great, fresh taste. Our server was attentive and polite. The food was definitely the shining star. It was all very delicious and prepared quickly. I don't know if this was on account of there not being too many people dining there, but I'd like to think that is just how they work there. I definitely recommend the crab plate, but I tried the chicken fajita as well and it was great. There are quite a few options for Mexican restaurants in the area, and quite honestly, you really can't go wrong with any of them, but I definitely recommend giving Sabor Azteca a try.
Food was pretty good. I had the three tacos choice and my husband had chimichangas. The flan was really, really good. We had pina coladas to drink and they fell short. No taste that was kind of odd. Margaritas weee much better.
Ordered takeout for company lunch. Everyone was pleased. Presentation was great. Good looked fresh. Quality was very good. Ordering online was very easy. We will definitely order from here again.
Almost got up and left after being seated because nobody acknowledged us for quite a while. Salsa provided with chips was watery and bland. Side order of chimichangas had a great sauce on them. The Aztecs Enchiladas were pretty good with a large portion of chicken and a ton of rice on the side. Poblanos enchiladas were very tasty as well. Interior was plain and had a strange open area right when you walked in, must have been a different business in this building before.
Stopped by for the first time today for lunch with my daughter. Place was empty except for one other table with 2 people. We ordered appetizers, Taquitos Mexcanos and Quesadillas Azteca. The Shrimp Quesadilla and the Chicken Quesadilla were both very good. The Taquitos were good but not amazing. Will definitely go back again and try dinner.
I enjoyed the food! There was a lot of food for the price. The reason for my rating is because after speaking with a manager regarding the menu stating “Free Refills” on all beverages, they didn’t care to correct it on the menu for only soda beverages (which were flat and noncarbonated) to get free refills. No I’m not talking about their drink menu but the section on the back of menu stating “Beverages - Free Refills” It’s frustrating when the leadership doesn’t care about customer/menu understanding. I’d like to see them take the effort to correct the menu to not misconstrue customers.
Came here for the first time with my husband. We love Mexican food and have visited many in the area so decided to try this one. I would say the food was decent but not amazing in our opinion. We both agreed everything just seemed a bit bland and lacking in flavor, compared to other restaurants we have been to. But that might be great for people who don't like a lot of spice 👍 I got the Piña Loca fajitas, which came in a hollowed out pineapple. A+ for presentation, and it was cool to be able to scrape out some of that pineapple flesh to add to my fajitas.
Been here many times. Food has been mostly very good, consistently. Only real issues involve food being cold. The alcoholic beverages are a different story. I always order any shots straight, they always bring it on the rocks, with many rocks. The pitchers are filled with ice. For $30 for a pitcher, you want more than 2-3 glasses out of it. Ask them to put the ice in the glasses, not the pitchers. Service has consistently been friendly. Only real negative is how they handle the alcoholic beverages. If you don't drink, than you didn't need to worry about it! This is a good place to go when you want a decent meal you can count on. They are getting a bit pricey, but still within the upper curve of good value. Great place for a night out with friends, or a celebration with family and kids.
Glad to have another Mexican choice in Clifton Park that has vegan rice and beans. The Burrito Ala Diabla (without cheese) was tasty. The margaritas could be a little bigger for the price. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Will be going back. Added plus of an outdoor patio so looking forward to better weather this spring.
We loved this place. The food was great. No wait on service and portions were on point. The tacos! Yeah buddy!
The food was okay - I certainly wouldn't call it authentic like their website claims though. The rice was bland, the salsa was bland, the refried beans had melted cheese on top - very Americanized. I almost wonder if things were reheated or frozen before they were served, to be honest. Nothing but the cilantro on top tasted very fresh. The wait staff was great though. My waitress was so pleasant and genuine. She was definitely the highlight of my visit.
Had dinner at Sabor Azteca Mexican Restaurant in Clifton Park tonight. Overall it was good. The service was great. They only have indoor seating but everyone was spaced out well, all staff wearing masks correctly and lots of cleaning was being done. We started off with the chips, salsa, and house margaritas. Chips and salsa were good. Salsa had a nice amount of flavor and a bit of heat. They had a lot of interesting margarita choices on the menu but we decided to try the house margarita. It was okay, we've had better in the area. I ordered the tacos del alambre on corn tortillas. They were delicious. Lots of great flavor throughout and a nice tomatillo sauce to top them. I would definitely order them again. It came with a side of rice and beans. They were ok, nothing special. My husband ordered the mexicali burrito. It was huge. Lots of good flavors throughout. The pork was great. We had a nice dinner out. Prices were good. The service was great. This restaurant is worth checking out.
I've been wanting to try this place but never got around to it. We always go to LaFiesta but it's so loud in there and the same dish that used to be $14 jumped to $22 and they renamed it. We went to Sabor Azteca instead. When we walked in, there was a host at the door who ignored us and just kept his face in his phone. We observed 4 waitresses chatting at the bar and the restaurant was pretty empty, so we turned around and went back to our vehicle. My husband asked me if I looked at the Google reviews and I didn't so we pulled it up on my phone and the reviews were decent so we went back in. We obviously were seated right away since the place was almost completely empty. They promptly brought a basket of chips with salsa and glasses of water. The chips were very thick, flavorless and unsalted. The salsa was brown and had no taste. We ordered the "Burrito Mexicana" for $18.99. When it arrived, about 2 minutes after we ordered it, the waitress plunked the dishes in front of us. It was a big plate with a burrito in the middle with a little bit of cheese sauce on top. There was no "presentation" to the dinner plate at all. For Pete's sake, put a sprig of cilantro or something on the plate for color. The burrito was good but the place was just not to my liking. The bill came to $40 and change for two burritos plopped on a plate. She placed the bill on our table and didn't come back for it. After 10 minutes of me getting more and more aggravated, my husband grabbed the bill and asked one of the random waitresses if she could take our payment so that we could leave. I could have gone to Moe's or Chipotle for half the price and gotten the same burrito. We tried it, didn't like it, won't go back!
Got the tamales and they were so dry had to send them back, the tacos were decent but missing simple things to enhance the flavor, seemed like they only put meat on taco and that was good but could be better.
Check your take out order thoroughly before leaving. The food is great, but items are frequently missing or incomplete. In my last visit, they forgot the extra side of tortillas, which I caught and they corrected before I left. When I got home, we realized that the taco salad had no vegetables (pictured).
We had a large group and service was very quick to seat us and get drink orders. The salsa and chips were hot and fresh. We had our order taken and waited a reasonable time for the size of our party. However some of the orders were cold when they arrived which was disappointing. Most liked their dish and there were some good flavors. Several in our group had been there before and had good experiences so perhaps it was an off day?
The food was not good at all, extremely bland!! I ordered chicken and shrimp with refried beans and rice. I was extremely surprised that it was not seasoned. The salsa was watery. I personally will not order again!!! It was definitely a waste of my $26. I was better off ordering Wendy's
Soo the food is extremely plain. No flavor, one taco had one little bit of cheese and some really tough dry chicken brest. All of our chicken dishes were the same. This is one of the worst meals of any "Mexican " food I've ever had. Plain and dry ugh...
We always have great food here but tonight was definitely not good. I have a gluten and dairy allergy so I'm always very specific with what I order( I get the same thing every time). Tonight I ordered Baja Shrimp tacos with corn tortillas and no cheese/sour cream. When they came out they had no dairy but we're on flour tortillas. We had someone come over and they said those were definitely flour. They said they would fix it but when they came back out they just scraped the tacos from the wrong shell to the right one... Unfortunately that's not how food allergies work. I was so put off by it that I didn't eat at all, had to watch my husband finish eating. Thank God they took it off the bill but now I need to find something else for dinner. I don't know if I'll be back because I could have gotten really sick due to their lack of care with my food/following clear instructions.
Service is spotty to say the least. 20-30 mins in between seeing a server each time we come here Wich is disappointing because the food is so good.
We had an abosutely terrible experience here. The service was terrible and the food was terrible. First, we had a 1 year old child with us and asked if her food could be brought out quicker than the rest, as she was fussy. Her food actually ended up coming out 10 minutes after the rest of us got our dinner. Second, we ordered chips and queso. And they brought the queso and no chips so we waiting about 5-10 minutes not being able to eat any food. So by the time we ate it, it was luke warm. Third, we all got the taco salad and it was honestly terrible. None of us finished it. The guac was premade and not fresh. There was like grease soup on the bottom of my plate there was so much. I could have made better in my own kitchen. Very disappointing.
Honestly I’ve never been SO repulsed sitting in a restaurant until today. Drove from NYC to here, kids were starving. Decided to give this place a shot based on the good reviews. Absolutely horrible. Killed 5 baby spiders while sitting in our booth, so many dead bugs & spiderwebs, grimey marks on the walls. Based on what I saw it makes me incredibly uncomfortable thinking about how the kitchen staff takes care of food being stored and the kitchen being deep cleaned. Looks like the owners needs a better cleaning company and higher standards for the restaurant. Food tasted bad, definitely gentrified Mexican food. Not worth the money, thank god they comp’d the meal.Save yourself the trouble. I’m so shocked so many people gave this place good reviews.
