We visited this place for lunch. Started with couple of pitchers of margaritas, guacamole, fajitas, enchiladas etc. chips and salsa were also excellent. Great service and very tasty food.
We got some, Corn 🌽 yum Nachos with steak. My favorite 😋 Chile Colorado Margarita 🍹 perfect 👌🏾 Burrito 🌯 kids loved Our server was attentive to our orders. The tables were cleared as plates were emptied. New cutlery was provided with each new meal. The ambiance was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Stationed at the site of the historic Owl Cafe, El Milagro is nothing short of world class Mexican food specializing in guisados and these are some of the best we’ve eaten outside Mexico City. Dishes are exceptionally executed and served with hand made tortillas and savory mayacoba beans. The costillas in the bright tomatillo sauce was an absolute hit. My wife who’s vegetarian loved the papas con rajas. Staff are attentive and care deeply about providing the best service. Lovely outdoor seating, spacious interiors great for large groups.
The most incredibly tasty veggie burrito I have had in a long time. The sauce was amazing. The vegetables and beans/rice were so fresh. The server was so kind. Comfy booth seating. Lots of outdoor patio seating. Everything is very clean. Nice atmosphere, feels very homey. Love this place!
We’ve eaten at El Milagro two times now, and both times the food was excellent. The first time I had three tacos, each with a different kind of meat. The second time I tried the nachos with carnitas (pictured). Each meal tasted very fresh and wasn’t greasy like nachos can be at times. We also had the guacamole appetizer to go along with the chips and salsa, as well as a couple of the house margaritas. The prices fall in the $15-$25 range depending on what you order. The service is excellent here as well. The waiters and waitresses are fast and very friendly, taking the time to check in and even chat with our children. There is parking both along the street and in their parking lot located to the north of the restaurant. They offer both interior and exterior seating which is covered. The exterior seating also runs along with the street which in turn offers a nice breeze. We will definitely be stopping here again the next time we pass through.
Previously home to the iconic Owl Cafe, El Milagro is a great staple locally of good food served by great people. Plenty of selection for the entire family with prices that are appropriate for the food being served.
Service from the hostess and waiter were excellent! They were very friendly, attentive, and happy to make food recommendations. Food was excellent! I had the Mole Verde Pipian con Pollo and flautas. For dessert, lemon cake made by the Chef’s wife. Happy we stopped here on the way to the avenue of the giants.
Very friendly atmosphere. Food came out fast. We ate late lunch around 2pm. Also a perfect place for happy hour or watching traffic go by.
My wife and I have been eating here since they took over the old Owl Cafe building and we've been very impressed with everything we've had. We live nearby and usually get takeout burritos, but since it was my wife's birthday she really wanted to go out and get their flautas plate. It's a lot of food and we always end up taking some home but it was excellent once again. The Tacos Al Carbon were delicious! The taco salad with carne asada is also one of my personal favorites when dining in.
Excellent service! Excellent food! The homemade salsa is delicious. My husband had the daily special of seafood enchiladas in a poblano sauce as well as their clam chowder and I had chicken enchiladas in green sauce.. my husband loved his and I loved mine. All white meat! You can tell they take pride in their menu and they do a fantastic job. We would definitely come here again next time we pass through. We finished up with their churros 😋 and they were freaking! Too full to finish those.
I love soup in a cloudy day! The best CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP in Sonoma County. Delicious fare!
Amazing.. had Seafood Tacos.. a shrimp and a fish.. flavors are amazing and cooked to perfection. Beans and rice are unlike I have had anywhere, so delicious. Great Margarita flavors, salsa and chips👍Love everything about this place. And people are friendly. Definitely will be back again.
This place is amazing. GREAT authentic food and they really care about the service too. Definitely worth stopping by. Plate of the day was a hit as well. We wished we saved room for dessert -- next time!
Great food and service. I was very happily surprised at the amount of vegetables in the Veggie Taco Salad . Loved the detail of the chef and sous chef named on the menu. Thank you!
The food here tasted very fresh and legitimately homemade. The server and owner were accommodating and personable. This experience topped off our trip perfectly.

We had an early dinner after doing at tour at Russian River Rail bikes. There is plenty of parking, which is convenient. We were warmly welcomed. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside in the shade and it was really nice. It has a relaxed atmosphere and we were given chips and salsa. I ordered the Ensalada El Milagro and it was delicious! All of the ingredients were so fresh and complimented each other well! The staff working here were so friendly, kind, and attentive. I also love that three locals own this together so when you dine here you know you are supporting a locally owned restaurant. I've eaten at the Healdsburg location several times. This was the first time I've been to the Cloverdale location and we love both locations. Such amazing and flavorful food! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful lunch here at a very fair price. We ordered a steak taco with chile sauce, which was delicious, and a shrimp and scallop salad which included a surprisingly generous heap of perfectly grilled seafood on top of very fresh greens and vegetables, with a wonderful warm dressing. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed the sunny patio. Highly recommended!

What an unexpected surprise! Whoever put this menu together is on top of their game. We tried the Esquitas (Mexican corn) which was both light and rich. The mole verde piping con pollo was off the charts. The chicken was shredded, moist, and fully absorbed the mole flavors. The mole too was light and boldly flavored. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is a bit challenging with the patio close to the road, but breeze and shade on a hot day hit the spot. Outstanding overall!

The service and ambiance is nice inside or patio. My adult son and I ate steak fajitas last week for first time and were very impressed. Although guacamole on the side is $15.00! The food was wonderful. Tonight we had steak burritos supreme and were disappointed as it was very bland and not great. Next time will just order fajitas.

We ordered the mixed fajitas with chicken, shrimp, and steak. The dish included only three shrimp, a few small pieces of chicken, and approximately three ounces of steak, all served over what appeared to be a large portion of frozen vegetables—mainly carrots, broccoli, and a single slice of bell pepper. To my knowledge, carrots and broccoli are not traditional components of fajitas, which made the presentation and flavor quite disappointing. Additionally, the chalupas were served cold, and the sauce that used to accompany the flautas has changed. What was once a distinctive pineapple jelly has been replaced with a thin, overly sweet chili sauce that resembles something more Polynesian in style. Overall, the meal lacked flavor and felt uninspired, especially considering the $27 price tag for what amounted to mostly frozen vegetables. We spent nearly $70 in total, hoping to enjoy a special dinner in celebration of our pregnancy announcement, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. Regrettably, we will not be returning to El Milagro.

Stopped in briefly to use the restroom and asked an employee where the light switch was. The response was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. I didn’t order food, so I can’t comment on the dining experience, but the customer service during my visit left a very negative impression.
