Foster's Freeze

Very under the radar. This is the spot!!! The menu is as expected for Fosters Freeze. Its a burger joint. But i love the onion rings, taquitoes, and the ice cream is maybe the best in town. Thats the secret. They are surrounded more and more by new places to eat recently so they are usually not busy. Cozy spot. I recommend them for the ice cream.

Not as fast as other burger places such as McDonald’s but those placers are not as fresh as fosters! Great place to have burger, ice cream, or even a burrito!! The place is starting to show its age but that adds to the experience!! Will go again!

As always, the food with and shakes awesome. Also, Star, (the closing drive thru cashier) dispite being very busy took the time to fix my order and give the difference back ( even though it was my mistake as I ordered the wrong thing🤦🏽) and all with a great attitude, and I smile, thank you so much to you (5)Star and also your manage that evening. I will be back

We go here about 3 times a month. Every time the food has been good and the staff have been very friendly and helpful with suggestions as well as informative about any specials happening. The workers actually work and do a great job with the food, appearance of the restaurant, and interaction with the customers.

This is one of our favorite places to get good old fashioned fast food the way food was dibe when we were growing up. Delicious, filling, and done the way mom and dad made dinners. What a great place for typical old fashioned dessert treats as well. Yum!!!!!

I bought a small dip cone and it was very big! The only thing is that it was melting super fast and got very messy. Make sure to ask for a cup, spoon, and extra napkins.

A classic hamburger and soft serve ice cream fast food restaurant. I enjoy grabbing some dessert and fries, or a whole hamburger meal. The food is tasty, but a little pricey now due to our state's labor laws. Try their food options, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Well, we won't be going to the Sanger one anymore, which is just down the street. (Personal reasons). Downside of that is, this store only gives 3 fish as to the Sanger gives 4. Chocolate ice cream was down, and they didn't have enough tartar sauce prepared. I'm sure it was because it was the end of the night and they weren't wanting to open products and make too much of a mess.

The food here is always good, as are the desserts. Biggest downside is how expensive everything has gotten. Over $7 for a freeze? Really? It's literally soft serve and soda. Either way, the food is good and that's why people come here.

Good Local Hangout. This Foster's location has been in the neighborhood for a long time. The staff is friendly enough, and the food is good enough. It's fairly clean, but the decor is outdated. A fun place to come grab a milkshake now and then.

I bring my kids in for the Wednesday $1.49 ice cream cones, and we always enjoy the simple ice cream and chicken tenders. The fries could be better, but they’re still okay. The service is good, and the staff is always friendly, which makes the experience enjoyable.

The food is always good. The bathrooms are clean. However the customer service is always lacking. They will make you wait even when there is no one else in line. I ordered the single patty Big Boss Burger and I think it could really use one or two more onion rings. And it would be great if they hadn't let my burger get cold.

Although the ice cream is absolutely fantastic and the service is phenomenal (the reason they got at least 3 stars from me), their regular food menu isn't as good as it sounds. The quality isn't quite what I'd expect but it's still decent. If you come, I recommend going mostly for the ice cream!

Best ice cream around but that's it . I pd $28 for cold old food slopped together & I waited forever. It was So bad my husband took 2 bites & said don't go there anymore!! It seems every time we come hear its awful & that's sad because I know how it used to be here.

By the time I got my banana split, there was a lot of liquid. They gave it to me with that liquid squished into the plastic seals. Impossible to open without making a mess everywhere. They should have served it faster and wiped the edges before closing it. Banana was fresh.

Bought ice cream cone and a milk shake...found the facility to be extremely dirty! The cooking area was a mess as was the dining area. No one making an effort to clean up. Most likely will not return.

Prices are sky-high. I only got a medium reeses twister, came out to $8.95. I can go to coldstone get an equal amount of ice cream with mix ins for less. I don't see them surviving with those prices.

Super disappointed. A few days ago I ordered 4 meals for a church decorating team and they messed up all but 1. For $47 I would have expected better. I had asked for a burger with no onions, a burger with just buns and meat, a burger with everything, and a grilled cheese (all combo meals). I got 3 burgers wirh everything. Two people couldn't eat due to allergies (onion allergy and dairy allergy). Super mad.

The ice cream is great (especially the dipped cones!), but everything else is OK at best. It's dirty inside and didn't seem super safe.

Went here with mi amigo at 9:30 (30 minutes before closing) y the employees were glaring at us. At 9:55 when we were finishing off our fries; half the lights in the restaurant were shut off. I asked an employee why the lights were shut off and he replied mumbling, "we're closing soon." Unbelievable. I did not mention they had half the restaurant blocked off with chairs and highchair making it like a fortress holding the ketchup dispenser hostage.

So, I don't know when their menu actually changed but previously whenever I ordered an Old Fashioned burger I was asked if I wanted cheese or bacon added. I went through the drive thru today, 4/10/21 and ordered three Old Fashioned burgers. When I got to my sister's, well, they had cheese on them. People who are unable to eat cheese may not be aware of this menu change where cheese is apparently included on all their burgers (with an increase in price I'm sure). Needless to say, not happy about the added cheese. I then ordered three small fries, was charged for four and given five small orders. I am a fan of their fries and normally wouldn't say anything about this mistake but the fries were not crisp, a little under cooked. As much as I like Foster's and their cones and fries, I will not be going back to this particular Foster's in Clovis (Shaw and Armstrong). Was also disappointed a while back when they discontinued their slushes. They have previously always given me my receipt with my change but this time they waited until the food was ready and put the receipt in the bag. I definitely would have said something while waiting for my order had I been given my receipt up front after paying.

Don't attempt to buy anyone of hot food within 30 minutes of closing time. Arrived on 2 separate occasions about 2 weeks apart and as I started to order I was cutoff and informed that they had already turned their grill and broiler off, so all they had to offer was dessert items. There were 3 other cars behind me in the drive-thru all who were turned away as well! I had a $50 order easy, so no telling how much $ they lost out on over turning their grill/broiler off 30 minutes early! Just close earlynif you don't want to work.

We just biked to Fosters Freeze to get cones. We got there a few minutes after 8. The dining room was closed. I had looked online and their hours said until 10. I looked at their sign and their hours said until 10, specifically under the column that said dining room. There were still people inside and a guy was letting them out. We asked about them being closed and he said, "we are shutting the dining room down a few hours before we close, but the drive thru is open." I told him we were confused because there was nothing anywhere that indicated that, and then we got into the long drive thru line. When we got to the front of the line he said, "we can't serve you on your bikes." It was a very lousy customer service experience.

When you arrive before closing and are in drive thru waiting to be greeted. Only to be greeted by staff turning off the lights and never acknowledging you. Quite rude. I even went to the drive thru window and was ignored as well. Wasn't even 10 pm yet, but obviously to them it was close enough.

OVER PRICED AND SMALLER FOOD. Half the size as before, corn dog's less than half the size as original, fries are TWICE AS EXPENSIVE.

NEVER GO HERE! They will mess up your order 3 times! A lady next to me had HER order messed up twice. I'm never going back here. I can over pay for mediocre burgers elsewhere. Who ever you had working the grill on 7/3/21 intentionally messed up my order and left it sitting there until I went up to the counter to ask about it. Congrats to the owner of this place because you lost an 8 year long customer who always ordered for 4 people. Thanks for nothing.
