Last night I celebrated my 40th birthday at La Parilla and I have to say that it was one of the best birthdays that I had! The atmosphere, music, entertainment, food and service was perfect. I will definitely come back again and recommend to all my friends. Definitely, definitely, hands down one of the best restaurants in Milan.

An experience unlike any other I've had in milano, our thursday night felt like the weekend! Their fajita is too good to simply eat, top it up with their sangria, and you'll have the perfect combination, that with the dancers, the decor and the over friendly staff... it's just like you closed your eyes and traveled to cancun... i would highly recommend this place!

Best mexican restaurant in Milan! High quality food and friendly staff. This place is usually very crowded so it is absolutely suggested book a table with at least 2 weeks before. During your dinner there is also music entertainment - you can enjoy it especially during anniversary/birthday or other celebrations.

Very nice place, it seems a little bit chic at the beginning, but the staff is really friendly and makes you feel immediately quite comfortable. The prices are in the average, portions are not really big, but overall the food is really good. There are some Latin dances throughout the dinner which makes it unique. I would definitely come back

I went to this Mexican restaurant for my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! My friend invited me, and we had such an amazing time. The food was delicious — the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly kind and even offered us shots of tequila to celebrate. They also surprised me with a little show for my birthday, which made the night even more special! The atmosphere, the shows, and the staff’s energy were all fantastic. Definitely one of the best birthday dinners I’ve ever had!

It was amazing. The food was great, there are a lot of options and I would suggest the frozen margherita! The best thing about this restaurant is the organization and the whole concept they have. Dancers are very talented and I loved how friendly and energetic the staff are. Their energy makes the restaurant even better. 🥰

They had very few vegetarian options, but the ambience was amazing. Specially they had an amazing Mexican dance every 10 minutes. Even on a weekday, the place was quite busy to get the best table and best time we need to book it in advance.

Absolutely loved this place. Our waiter Damian was fantastic and we will definitely be coming back very soon. The guacamole is a must have! We also had the tostadas de aragosta and as my main dish I had tacos al pastor. The best Mexican tacos I have had in Italy! The salsa and chips they bring to the table is also very authentic. My husband had the grilled octopus and said it was a mixture of sweet and sour that you don't expect, but still very good.

Very nice experience - especially for meat lovers. Fajitas served with toppings and warm tortillas to compose your own bites are real fun. I would enjoy some more enchiladas in the main meal menu but still...I will definitely be back! Remember to make a reservation, because it fills up really quickly!

Very nice place, all the staff were cheerful, friendly and really helpful. Clearly popular with the locals and resturant filled up fast! Food was very good, everything was fresh and tasted authentic, fajitas were some of the best i've had! Very good bottled IPA available. A little pricey but considering its Milan I would say the food justifies it. Thanks for having us!

Update: misunderstanding between us and the doorman on explaining we had booked in advance. Thanks for the birthday surprise and for calling us in when we were passing by the second time. We had a really nice time and enjoyed the food and ambience.

Went here on a Wednesday night about 9pm and was lucky to get a seat. Obviously very popular. When arriving it was all.a bit slow but they were very busy. Took quite a while to get served at first. First course was a little slow and when it arrived it could have been hotter but was very tasty. I had Cod Fillets and my wife had jalapeno stuffed with cheese. Main course then came in good time and was great. I had Pollo diablo and my wife had tortillas. Both nice again There were dancers on and off all night but from where we were seated couldnt see anything. I would recommend this place but be better booking. 2 courses each and a couple of drinks was €70.

Chips and salsa, empanada de res, and chorizo burrito were good. Tacos were ok, but atmosphere was loud and there was some live entertainment. Overall it was loud and hectic and some things fell short (shrimp tacos were not good and service was spotty). Would I come back?

Fun atmosphere and great cocktails! The concept is nice and the live dance show adds a special touch — just make sure your table is near the center or you might miss it. Food was okay, but I’d probably choose differently next time. Prices are on the higher side.

I recently visited La Parrilla in search of an authentic Mexican dining experience, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark. Starting with the positives, the atmosphere was nice, clean, and comfortable. It wasn’t exactly the traditional Mexican vibe I was hoping for, but it was still a pleasant setting to enjoy a meal. The food itself was just okay. The flavors were decent, but nothing particularly special or memorable. I was expecting something more authentic and bold, but it felt a bit watered down. Definitely not bad, just not exciting either. The biggest issue, though, was the service. It took way too long to get our food, and even simple things like drink refills or getting the check took forever. The staff was friendly, but the slow pace made the whole experience frustrating. On top of all that, the prices were way too high for what we got. For the quality of food and the level of service, it definitely wasn’t worth the price tag. I don’t mind paying more for great food and good service, but this just didn’t justify the cost. Would I go back? Probably not. While the atmosphere was nice, the combination of slow service, average food, and overpriced dishes makes it hard to recommend. If you're looking for a truly authentic and worthwhile Mexican meal, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

La Parrilla used to be one of my favorite places in Milan, as I have come here over the past few years to dine with friends and family. The food is great. The dancing is fun. And the establishment has a lovely interior. My review is in regards to what happened tonight with a particular waiter. I asked for another round of shots for me and my girlfriends in addition to the bill. He said okay, and counted off the number of people at the table (we were in 4 total), when he got pointed his finger at me he said “ma tu, io non ti vedo”, in reference to the color of my skin. As a Black woman this shocked me. And my friends and I were left speechless at the table. When he came with the shots and bill, I refused the shot stating “ma ormai non mi vedi”. He then started to say how it was a “joke” and I was taking it the wrong way. What other way could this remark have been taken? I have never in my six years of living in Milan experienced something so horrible, degrading and downright cruel. It wasn’t a joke. It was extremely unprofessional, rude and racist. I have no idea why someone would think that was a funny thing to say, especially to a PAYING customer. I paid my portion of the bill and left in tears. I don’t expect a kind or understanding response from the owners given the other responses I see here. I’m leaving this review to warn others of the kind of racially insensitive remarks you might experience if you choose to dine here. Never again.

In this worst situation of lockdown in Italy, we understand how hospitality businesses are suffering. Considering that we made a good, big size order of 2 appetisers, 2 main course and 2 desserts for 2 people. Even after seeing their presence on Deliveroo, we decided to book directly from their website. It was a fast service, food came in 20 minutes but we were expecting good quality food as we paid 77€ but the food came in bad packaging. Some were spilling out of the box. Tacos were soft (not crunchy at all), everything was cold. It’s a pity that we paid for a good quality restaurant but received lower standard food (like a cheap kebab restaurant). Suggestion to the owner: kindly take the reviews of your clients as a motivation to work for better future. Loosing some clients will not harm any business but considering their opinions tells about the goodwill of the company. Food touches the soul directly so it should be served with harmony.

Forget it. We have found a chewing gum right in our tortilla chips tray and the waiter acted like if it was perfectly normal.. she did not even apologized or refound us. We had two friends coming for a couple of drinks while we were eating.. and we were charged for their seating charge too! No Mexican green spicy salsa available.. too bad is the most popular salsa in Mexico! For us is a no no no for the above reasons. On the other side food is good.. ambience is nice and the performance is really worth.

IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN- DONT COME HERE. Horrible service. Also, the salsa was pre poured into bowls on every table. Dead fleas in some of them. They seated us telling us that we needed to leave our table in 1 hour for another reservation. We did not get our food how we asked for, asked for pico de Gallo on nachos- didn’t get any. Asked for tacos a certain way, and totally got a different order. Told them to take the tacos back if they can and prepare them how we asked. They took them. They didn’t come back to let us know that we would get our tacos the way we asked. Waited for 35 minutes for tacos with black beans, guacamole, onions, pico, and sour cream - they never brought them. Guess it was too hard for them to prepare.

The response from the owner is totally rude and out of place!! After this owner response which is this.... " Amazzatti 😂😂😂" exactly like this, I reconsidered my 3 stars at first for the look of the restaurant into a 1 star for the worst response to a review from any owner of a buisseness ever from all the places I've been in the world!! Kitchen closes at midnight not at 3. There is a guy at the entrance that decides if you can come inside or not as if it was a luxurious club, it's not.

This is not Mexican food lol. There are better places in Milano for Mexican or Tex Mex but not this place. The entertainment throughout the evening is very nice but it felt more like a distraction for the lack of flavor of the food. Beautiful decor also helps with the distraction of the poorly executed dishes “concepts”. As a Mexican from Texas living in Milano I can tell you there are way better places to try. Do NOT waste your money and time on this place. Unless you just want bland food and a good show

The staff approached us AFTER ordering the dinner and told us that we had to expend at least 55€ per person. We had ordered food and drinks but still we were informed that we had to consume more or leave before 9:30, it was 8:50. They told us that that is something that is wrote in the webpage but we did the reservation BY PHONE and we were not informed about that, neither on the phone call or when we arrived, o ly after we ordered the dinner. The manager approached after since we told them to cancel the food and that we were going, he told us not to worry and that he will give us until 10:00. Now friendly at all, food was definitely NOT Mexican, more like an Americanize Mexican food, with bbq as sauces. At least the entertainment was good.

The title of this review will be MY BIRTHDAY WAS TOTALLY RUINED… I came to the restaurant to celebrate my Birthday all I wanted was a cake and simple singing but then came a dancer that was dancing in a really weird way sticking his body on me and that totally uncomfortable plus the restaurant was taking videos without any consent or approval you really should explain the options to the customers well and not force them to get something they don’t want .. the restaurant has nice decorations but the food also is below average it was a really traumatizing experience I had to leave I couldn’t even finish my dessert …….. It’s very sad to see that the person who replies customers in this restaurant is really an ill mannered and was never raised by a parent before :) But that makes complete sense ! Your reply is the perfect example of bad manners and poor taste. Instead of addressing a review with professionalism, you chose insults and sarcasm. That doesn’t make you clever — it only shows how disrespectful and inappropriate you are! The place interior is nice. Food - basic, we’ve been to much better Mexican restaurants with Lower prices. The show is interesting but it’s only for one part of the restaurant, we had a bad table where the visibility of the show was 1% even though the waiter said the dancers would come to our part of the restaurant also. But it didn’t happen. Bad service ,Bad experience, never again
