Loved everything about this restaurant! As soon as you walk in the beautiful atmosphere hits you. Beautiful green and gold colors and the unique foliage from the ceiling is captivating. The service is amazing, very polite and attentive. The menu is unique, making it hard to choose what to get because it all sounds so amazing. We will definitely be going back to try more! I got the Chicken Kiev and my husband got the beef stroganoff. Both dishes were excellent, relishes, prepared beautifully. We tried all of the mocktails which were also delicious and the flaming cheese starter was very cool to watch and even better to eat! The mousse desserts were adorable and SO yummy! We will definitely be going back soon to try more dishes! I highly recommend going to this restaurant!
Hidden gem. The off-street parking and entrance are located in the back alley. It is marked and decorated, making it easy to find. Atmosphere and service were both great! Although the portion was on the smaller size, the beef stroganoff and mashed potatoes were delicious! I decided to order both the coffee and coconut mouse desserts and loved them both...having more than enough to take some home.
Went last night and was served by the owner Crystal! Wow food, service, atmosphere, everything was amazing! We all loved our dishes, especially the Beef stroganoff, steak was so tender could cut with a fork, and the Chicken Kiev, chefs kiss! Everything was phenomenal, from drinks to appetizers, main dish and the desserts! Very unique and delicious, great date night spot! Highly recommend
Evergreen Restaurant was absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was outstanding – full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The variety of drinks was just as impressive, and each one was crafted perfectly. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional – delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend Evergreen for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!
Me and my girlfriend came here for our anniversary and definitely was a 10/10 experience! Food was portioned perfectly, clean, and you could tell was made with skill. Presentation was beautiful and vibes were great there. Service was great too, very friendly and conversational. Loved this place.
We had a great time! From first walking in and taking in the atmosphere to exploring the menu, the friendly staff and great dessert. My wife and I both had great mixed cocktails that were in the realm of traditional cocktails and fusion. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect for the price. Lastly, you must try a few of the desserts!
This place was amazing!! My husband and I are such foodies and loved this place. Everything tasted so fresh. Drinks were made excellent too. For dessert they had moose options all shaped as the flavors. Smoked whiskey was the drink highlight of the night.
Excellent fresh and clean meals. I had the Salmon and Egg scramble and it was excellent. The eggs were fluffy and the parsley on top gave it a lot of flavor. The greens where fresh and the dressing was tasty. My husband had the omelette and it delicious with fluffy eggs. The lattes were tasty and a very nice roast not to weak not to strong or burnt. The service was impeccable. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back. The owners were there and we got to meet and they were very nice. Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Outdoor seating available.
Hyper authentic paprikash updated with pork belly instead of chicken for the protein It was sublime. If you’re looking for European comfort food from across the continent, this is the place.
Went with my husband for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I especially loved the Brussels sprouts and the banana dessert. We will definitely be back!
This little gem in downtown Colorado Springs was a very pleasant experience. The ambiance was welcoming and peaceful. Every detail from the decor outside to the inside made one feel like they walked into an enchanted place away from the world. Such cozy vibes, absolutely amazing food, service and desserts! We will definitely be back again and again!
This place was chosen randomly by my son and myself. We were able to get right in. The detailed attention in the atmosphere is apparent. They carefully planned eye catching and stimulating elements that also bring peace and calm. This is noticeable from the table, to the bathroom, to the glassware and food. The food was palate pleasing. The teas were soothing and beautifully presented. There was obvious delay in wait service but I find peace in the experience. My son and I found tremendous appreciation for the experience. We drove from Denver for an event but we plan to return at some point to experience this place again.
I had an amazing experience at Evergreen Restaurant in Colorado Springs! The beef spaghetti was flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also tried their pumpkin spice latte, and it’s hands down the best I’ve had in the Springs—perfectly spiced and delicious. For dessert, I had the baklava, which was sweet and flaky, a great way to end the meal. I also love that they offer milk substitutes, making their drinks accessible for everyone. Highly recommend this spot for a cozy and satisfying meal!
We were pleasantly surprised by a wine list of Moldovan wines, so much so that we returned to sample more of them. The interior is lovely and thoughtfully decorated, and the outdoor seating is vast and comfortable. We tried some desserts as well; the desserts were all rather similar to each other, but well-done and homemade. Service was very kind, prompt, and accommodating.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Evergreen. I took my parents here while they were in town yesterday and we had an exceptional time and food. We sat on the patio since my dog was with us and they brought him out a dog bed, water bowl, and multiple dog treats! He is now obsessed with this place as well. I ordered the beef with meat sauce and baby potatoes and I will be craving that dish forever now. My dad got the teriyaki salmon while my mom got the beef spaghetti. All of our dishes were 10/10! The owner is a pastry chef so we had to try the dessert as well. We ordered the tiramisu, pumpkin cheesecake and the Turkish coffee which is pared with baklava. Needless to say, we all couldn’t say enough great things about this place. The staff provided wonderful service and kept coming by to give my dog all the pets :) I do not have one bad thing to say about Evergreen and I will be recommending it to everyone.
A little hidden and could use a bit better signage, but absolutely worth it. The staff greeted us with such a warm welcome before allowing us to pick where we’d like to sit. I can’t say enough great things about the meat pizza and the Shakshouka. We over heard the server mentioning that there will be a business lunch coming next week and also the prices will be reduced 20% menu wide. Give this place a try!
Popped in for breakfast after reading about this new spot. Evergreen is one of those rare finds, with loads of ambience and attention to details. Quality over quantity! Pretty outdoor patio and they pamper pooches ! Try the gold Turkish cappuccino and cinnamon Babka pastry. We’ll be back for dinner and cocktails!
husband and I came here looking for a new breakfast spot. My husband ordered the omelette and I ordered the beef crêpes and mango tea. They have a selection of crêpes and a pretty decent selection of tea, and they serve breakfast all day. they also have what looks like a pretty decent lunch/dinner menu. the service is very friendly. The food was decent, but I will probably order something else next time instead of the beef crêpes. The tea was my favorite part and they can adjust the flavor for you. Overall, I would try this place again.
What an amazing little restaurant. Vibes are immaculate, the food is tasty and everyone was friendly. I will say the portions are a little small for the cost, but they tasted fabulous. We got the Turkish coffee (which is a tiny serving but so good), salmon crepes, and the salmon egg scramble.
Went for brunch today and it was delicious! Food was well seasoned. The soy-sesame dressing was excellent. Loved the attention to detail with the design elements, the drink-ware and dish-ware were well chosen!

This place is such a hidden gem, literally had to do some searching to physically find it! For how amazing the food is I was expecting the prices to be a lot higher! The atmosphere is incredible and the staff was even better!
I have only been there for the viral realistic pastries. Soooooo delicious! We went again!
Our whole family really loves this place. The food is delicious, and the portions are just the right size. The desserts deserve special mention—those mousse cakes are simply masterpieces. After visiting this restaurant, I’ve never experienced bloating, overeating, or indigestion, which is very important to me. I’m so glad that such a place has opened in Colorado Springs. We’ve been to this restaurant many times, and we’ve never had a bad experience, either with the staff or the owners. As a family of four, we’ve never spent more than $200.
We went here for dinner on a Friday and had a fantastic experience! The restaurant is intimate and not overly loud, and every detail is thoughtful from the coat rack to the tables. I was a bit unsure of the small menu at first, but everything we ordered tasted amazing and was beautifully plated. The servers were attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back!!
Amazing food and Turkish coffee! Everyone was so nice and accommodating for our larger group. The food was delicious, the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had (it’s their special right now) on the best croissant I’ve had in a while. I also love the decor and atmosphere, so much to look at! Definitely worth checking out!
First time trying Turkish coffee. It's very good. I recommend giving it a try if you're a coffee drinker. The food was also very well-seasoned. The atmosphere it very nice well. Overall it is a very nice restaurant.
Wonderful Dinner, especially the Flat Breads and Spaghetti, Lemon Mouse Dessert, and Apple Mouse Dessert. Owners very hospitable and warm to guests.
Such a great place. Nice and quiet! I loved the service and the food. Loved the Heirloom Tomato salad and mango Basel tea. Highly recommended.
We had a delicious dinner here, filled with fresh, flavorful, and creative appetizers and entrees. The roasted carrots, chicken Kiev, and ragu were especially good! Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the ambience was relaxing and cozy.
My wife and I went for a date night. Excellent food. Not sure how people had bad things to say about it unless it was an anomaly of a night. The 4.4 starts is not an accurate representation of the food. Waitress gave good recommendations. The food options are very unique across different cuisines. We started with the tapenade and Caesar. Both were delicious. I had the paprikash and my wife had the chicken kiev. Perfect portion size for each of us. We shared the coffee bean dessert which was surprisingly good because I typically wouldn’t get something like that. All in all we will go back again
Just recently visited Colorado Springs from MS. Saw a TikTok about evergreen while I was trying to decide what place to try out and I immediately booked a reservation. The tartar was fabulous! Their hazelnut cake thing was 10/10. Idk who they got in that kitchen but she throws down! Def will be eating here again when I come back for another trip!! (Also made a TikTok reviewing the place with detailed pictures @shaebabii01)
We found Evergreen online prior to trip to Colorado Springs. It was the only dinner reservation we made outside of our resort. It was so very good! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions were plentiful. My glorified cocktail even had gold in it. The owner was very attentive. Everything was top drawer and I’m very glad we went.
Beautiful, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Loved the mocktail options on the menu, and the lavender one was delightfu! I had the beef stroganoff and my husband had the shawarma with chicken - both were excellent. The mousse cakes, a mango and a raspberry, were incredible - unlike anything we’ve had before! Highly recommend and looking forward to returning soon!
We had a fabulous holiday work party at Evergreen! The food was so delicious and inventive! The drinks were fun and festive for the holidays! The star of the night was our server Lenae! The most kind, attentive person who did an excellent job attending to us for hours!
Blue Cheese Mussels! Soooo good! The charcuterie board was pretty good too! I loved the russian crackers! Its hard to find a places in the springs that use such high quality ingredients! This place is super cute, the service was incredible, and the deserts are beautiful! We will definitely be back!
Great food and great service. Unfortunately our night wasn’t perfect but the staff/owner made sure to accommodate us as best as possible. The food is amazing, I wish I would have been able to try the pirogies but since they are made in house they had sold out the night before; luckily that gave me the opportunity to try the beef stroganoff, heavenly. I also really wanted one of their mango “fruit” desserts and my GF wanted to try the hazelnut; again those were unavailable but the owner was so great and got us our second choices made up for us to take home. Overall I had a great experience and would love to go back to try more food and desserts, too bad I live two hours away. A Big thank you to the new owner, I think her name was Christine; she was super sweet and accommodating.
Delicious food, if a bit pricey. A tad hard to find tucked around a corner. We had the saganaki, the Brussels sprouts, the penne, some pierogis, the stroganoff, and the salmon. We also tried different cocktails. We were a party of four. The desserts were really interesting. Mousse in a colorful chocolate shell. A fun night.
This small well appointed space is unique and warm. The service is very friendly and attentive. I'd like to see sharables be available in half plate. The Beets & Tomatoes salad and Chicken Kiev were both excellent. The suggested wine paring was excellent. It is difficult to find. There is Free Parking.
I wanted to love our experience here so badly. We were there during happy hour and got a $20 bottle of wine when you ordered pizza or pasta which was not a bad price considering cocktails were $15+ for one and the seasonal cocktails were closer to $20. We ordered the mushroom shawarma which was really good ($22), and the puttanesca which was decent but $26 and the portion size was not large enough that my partner still left hungry. We also wanted to try dessert which was delicious ($12) and was the hazelnut kind. Our waitress was very kind but it was a bit odd to us that the woman who appeared to be the owner asked every table around us how their meal was but not ours. My biggest issue with the place is that we paid $110 for the two mains, dessert, and bottle of wine even with the discount and it was definitely not worth that amount. We were seated right by the curtain where staff comes in and out to get to the kitchen and to be charged fine dining prices to sit in a restaurant that is set up like a very cute cafe/diner it feels very out of touch. I hope they might reconsider how their menu is structured because I thought the food was good, but unfortunately for the price we will not likely be back as we will go somewhere that offers a fine dining/premium experience for the price.
This was my third time visiting Evergreen. From the get go I could tell something was off from my prior experience. The staff previously was perfectly in sync no questions on what my dining experience would be. This time the service whom I believe to be the owner clearly did not have experience. Having been in service for 15 years you could spot the difference. Service was slow and interrupted. The quality of the cooking has clearly changed. I raved to my dining companions on the Harrissa Honey carrots and they where disappointing clearly not prepared the same way as previous visits from taste to cooking time (raw in the middle) . The Tartare that comes with Rye crostini’s where not toasted or crisp hence missing the title crostini’s. The service was delayed and unprofessional. I do not mind paying a higher price for the higher quality of food and service. But the quality and service have clearly taken a back seat. At 90$ for a person who ordered tartare, carrots and two expresso martinis I was dissatisfied. Our order was divided due to the owner who is clearly not a service provider dropping food. The timing was slow and disjointed. I had come to expect a standard for the price and I found it dramatically lacking. I tried to speak to whom I assume is one of the owners, after a had payed and tipped appropriately. She was rude and dismissive offered no apologies for the mistake or failed service or lack of cleaning up afterwards. Reading other reviews her responses seem to be standard of not being open to critique in any fashion. Stating they have fired the staff and it dramatically shows. Unsure of visiting again this is sad as I live in the Old north end and I had been so excited for the restaurant originally. Going from top of my list to not worth the money or the lack of service and food quality.
Edit: Looks like the owner literally edited every single one of his responses to make him...not look as mean as he was to everyone. So um, not sure what to make of this restaurant. I'll just make a list of pros and cons because I feel like that's the best way to do this. Pros: The service and staff are incredible. I got lost trying to find the restaurant, the person on the phone was incredibly kind and was able to direct me. All the staff were very kind to us, said hello and goodbye, our waitress was also SUPER nice. All in all a fantastic staff team. Another pro - the cocktails were amazing. I tried the fall version of their pumpkin spice moscow mule and it tasted like fall in a cup. My partner had the cosmo which was also fantastic. Cons: The food. Oh boy, I am actually appalled. My partner ordered the beef and it came out well done and dry as shoe leather (see photos). We realized no one had even asked how he wanted his steak done which...is pretty standard in any restaurant? And also, why was it so overcooked? We waited over an hour for our food too, so we decided to just suck it up and eat because we didn't want to wait any longer for a recook. I ordered the carbonara, which was good but the portion was very small. We also tried the pumpkin cake, and it came out half-frozen and covered in a very thick layer of orange cream that overpowered the rest of the dessert. The desserts are definitely shipped in, pre-frozen and not homemade. Overall it seems most of the positive reviews are for this restaurant's breakfast, so it seems that's what they do best. I don't know if I want to come back though. I did also notice that the owner is not responding very kindly to these negative reviews. I want to make it clear I'm not some competitor, I'm not someone out here just throwing negative reviews willy-nilly, I'm just being completely honest and I hope the owner takes this as a learning moment/constructive criticism, and not a personal attack. Thank you.
I went to celebrate my birthday with my husband. So when we got there l ordered a Mimosa At first everything was going smoothly but when the server wanted to grab something from our table, she spilt my mimosa and l didn’t want to show l was pissed off but some of it went on my professional camera. 😩 anyway she then concluded and said let me bring you another one since she was at fault, she did that but she didn’t change my glass from before she served the mimosa in the same glass. Reason how l know is the previous glass had my lip gloss on it. I have a pictures. The water jar was so dirty and disgusting 🤮 l didn’t even drink water while waiting on the food. My husband ordered the special of the night. The potatoes were black and burnt will upload the pictures below. The food was very hot. The plates were just warm. I forget the sever name, but l didn’t like the fact she only remembered l was celebrating and wished me happy birthday when l was leaving to go home. She made me feel like l wasted my time getting out of the house. You have nice interior
Exactly 14 minutes after posting this the owner called me personally, and started threatening me that they are going to sue me for my review and that my husband, I and my kids are not welcome at their restaurant and that she would call the cops if I would come near their restaurant. Please don't come here! *Distasteful and disappointed in the entire experience. We have never been to a restaurant that decides to switch their indoor chairs for outdoor chairs just because kids were going to sit in their fabric chairs. (It was freezing outside, and they want little kids to sit on cold dirty chairs). Have you guys never heard of a saying "customer is always right?" obviously here they haven't. We ordered the olivier salad with caviar, the salad was fine but the caviar was expired and when we stated that to the waitress, she brought out the whole can and was trying to convince us that it's fresh. And kept saying, "caviar doesn't go bad because it is salted." Caviar does expire, but okay. We just didn't want to make a scene and let this ruin or night. It's just NOT worth the money. We also had crispy Brussel sprouts that were too salty and greasy. The shrimp and mussels were overcooked. I don't mind paying for good food, but here they charged us $12 for a small side portion of buttered noodles (for the kids) that lacked all flavor and weren't even salted. The only tasty thing here is the dessert (we got the mango mousse $9), but that seems overpriced also. Reading through the reviews, it seems like all they want to do is prove that they are right instead of listening to their customers. I am not a competitor.*
I recently dined at Evergreen and while the ambiance was undeniably unique with its decor and serve ware, the overall experience fell short. The setting exudes charm, creating high expectations for a memorable meal. However, the food did not live up to the visual appeal. It was notably overpriced and, unfortunately, less than amazing in taste, portion and presentation. Each dish seemed to miss the mark, lacking the flavor and finesse one would anticipate given the price tag. Service was another area of concern. Despite the staff's evident effort, the service was slow, and they appeared visibly stressed throughout the evening. This added to the overall disappointment. In summary, while Evergreen impresses with its decor and serve ware, the dining experience does not justify the cost. It’s a beautiful place to visit, but I hope they address the issues with their food and service to match the charm of their surroundings. …Added after receiving a response to my review: Hi Evergreen Restaurant, I assure you, I am not a competitor and this was my first and final visit. My reviews are based on my genuine experiences. If there’s an issue with your service or food, I believe constructive feedback can help improve things.
IF I COULD PUT 0 STARS I WOULD. Never have I ever been treated with such disregard and disrespect. The lady who served me was treated me like I was homeless and had no right to be in the restaurant. My husband and I are from out of town. We drove up for our anniversary and we're so excited to try these fruit pastries that were featured on the menu however I had no idea what would come next. The minute the walked into the restaurant we were judged and asked if we were here to buy the fruit pastries. We said yea and she said only two. Thats all I will sell you. She came off rather rude but we didn't mind we understand everyone has busy and hard days so we continued to be kind to her. I then told her I would like to have the raspberry fruit pastry and the pumpkin one. She had 3 pumpkin ones left and one was without a stem. She grabbed the one without the stem and put it in the box. I figured since we drove all this way might as well have the one with the stem but I guess that was too much to ask. When I asked for the other one the lady snapped at me telling that she reserved that for "PAYING PATRONS" I couldn't believe she would act so petty over something so small. I had been nothing but kind and was asking something so small but she blew it out of proportion completely. We were paying customers too paid 22 dollars but i guess i had to spend 100 to make it count. She glared at me the whole time i checked out and didnt even say thank you or come again as she handed us the box. She just gave us the box and took off to handle more important customers. If you come to this restaurant I hope you're prepared to be disrespected and shamed if you don't choose to dine in. I wouldn't wish the expirence I had today in the restaurant in my worst enemy. After this incident took place I was so in shock and sick to my stomach by how rude this server was I couldn't even eat my pastries. I cried for an hour in my car feeling so hurt that someone could treat someone with such disgust. If the person who treated me that way is reading this I hope you realize just how sick of person you are and you choose to be better. I hope whoever was serving me today gets the day the truly deserve. Thank you for ruining my entire evening over something so small. And anyone else reading this i hope you take this as a hint to what kind of business they run and how they treat their paying customers.
My wife and I had dinner here earlier this year and we were delighted with the food and the owners were very pleasant. I was disappointed after making another reservation well in advance of NYE and finding out that our table was a make shift place setting at the small bar on high chairs next to the register. Felt very slighted for that and no longer wish to go back. This is not a typical location for a bistro style eatery and I would expect if the owners desire success it would be through exceptional service and reputation. Not this night it appears.
I understand today is a holiday, but my significant other and I were calling about a table/pick up and the staff here are EXTREMELY rude. The first little girl I spoke with straight up hung up on me, and then the second person told me she was rude because they are all pre occupied. We’ve been here a few times now, and the food is over priced, and extremely small portions for what you’re paying for. If you can stay away, do it. Service is terrible.
My husband and I went for the Ehret wine dinner…$75/person which we thought was reasonable. Upon arriving, it was raining and what we did NOT know was that there was a first session for this dinner and they were still going, even after our 7 PM arrival time. We stood out in the rain underneath a covered patio along with many other patient people, but there was rain still coming through the awning, so we all got a little wet. The supposedly new owner of the place, when we were allowed to come back in, signaled to obviously a friend of hers outside to come in first. Not a great way to start the night for the rest of us. We were allowed in and were seated. The wine was absolutely wonderful, and the owner of the winery was great. The first course was an amuse bouche of salmon with a crème fraîche topping and fried capers. It should’ve been served without the cucumber in a glass spoon and was pretty tasteless. Then we were provided a panzanella salad that was almost inedible because the bread was so hard. We were then provided with a crab cake over cabbage, and the crab cake was burned and hard, and there was so much cabbage, it was overwhelming. Then we were provided with a chicken thigh with a sauce and fried potatoes. It was cold and the sauce was gelatinized. I will say that the chicken was tender, and that the gelatinized sauce was tasty, because at this point, I was actually hungry from not being able to eat the rest of the food. After that we were given a half inch thick round pre-sliced filet mignon, and I noticed that some people had blood on their plates and other people complained about theirs being overdone. And it was cold along with the mashed potatoes. Then we were given a little box with a macaroon that was absolutely delicious and that was the best part of the whole meal. We don’t make these comments litely because we know how important this is to the chef, but my husband and I ran our own catering business and also have traveled around the world and to pay $75 for that meal was only about the wine at this point, of which we bought three bottles. We truly do hope that the new owner will succeed, but she will need to have many conversations with her chef and she should definitely not play favorites with people waiting to come inside of her restaurant.
Made reservations via Open Table a week plus in advance of New Years Eve, we were looking forward to a delicious meal based on a previous experience. Called a day prior direct to restaurant and confirmed reservations. When we arrived we were seated at their counter bar in horrible bar stools, uncomfortableand not east to get close to counter. We could not imagine trying to eat an entire meal in this subpar seating area expecting to pay fine dinning prices. We decided to leave, received very little apologies from staff and left very disappointed.
