Everything was very delicious those tacos de camarones a la diabla were the best 🔥 those quesa birrias were juice and tasty 😋 their vibes are amazing 🤩 the workers are all friendly and very kind !!! Me and my family always enjoy coming to this restaurant it has been our favorite quality food with the best delicious aguas frescas and delicious desserts my kids enjoy going to La Jaiba 😁😁😁 Definitely will be going there soon 🤩
The food is good and the serving portions are great. The flan is creamy and their Agua fresca is refreshing. The overall service was pleasing, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the waitresses were attentive to the needs of the customer. The decor brings the place to life and is visually appealing. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Ordered the molcajete de carne and it is enough for two (a lot of beef steak and chicken steak in the volcanic stone bowl; the photo just shows the top layer)!
We stumbled upon this place by accident looking for another Mexican restaurant and we were so glad to be here. Our food order took some time to make but it was worth the wait. Our food arrived piping hot to our table, full of flavors and very authentic tasting. Our gratitude to the cook, our hostess and the staff. We chose indoor seating and was not disappointed by any harsh noise elements at about 2pm. We will definitely be back to try the fresh seafood menu.
Amazing service for dinner this evening. Was craving quesibirria tacos and the craving was fulfilled. Took my kids (5 & 2) and they had a few things on the kids menu. My husband’s meal was also delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Wonderful staff, great atmosphere, delicious food. Ive been here a good number of times. Their Oaxacan sauce is great and I recommend it.
I come from the Bay Area just to eat here! Food is Great, Service is on point and the Atmosphere is nice and inviting! I would recommend the marisco mocajete 🔥🔥. I love how almost everything on the menu has a picture and it definitely comes out just like the picture if not better! A hidden gem forsure!
I haven’t been here since they've re-opened. But I can say that the food is still amazing as always! I've had so many items off the menu, and they are always delicious! I love that the chips and salsa aren't full of salt! They're perfect! Also, The staff are super nice and friendly. My favorite place!
Very sweet people here and amazing food. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town
I discovered this place in March of 2018 and the food here is pretty authentic and a great tasting Taqueria where all the meals are delicious, they serve Menudo daily 1/29/24: Been coming here since 2018 since it’s in my neighborhood. All the dishes here are delicious and prepared with authentic flavors and ingredients. Tonight I ordered the Seafood soup full of fish (catfish), clams, shrimp, snow crab legs, squid, octupus and many other seafood including vegetables. BEST PLACE IN CAMPBELL 2/3/24: Today I ordered PAZOLE DE PUERCO! It comes in a good size bowl full of pork and hominy with a side plate with Cabbage , horseradish, diced white onions, cilantro and red peppers which I mixed into the soup. The soups here are DELICIOUS!
My Togo Mexican restaurant, tacos are amazing and food large portions. My favorite is their pork soup, it’s so addicting and authentic posole de puerco. It’s. Large portion and I’m full everytime eating. Really flavorful
Fantastic food, the flautas were fantastic, the molcajete Mixto is amazing. Quesibririas was absolutely perfect!
I almost skipped this place when I saw the outside, but I went in anyway and was not disappointed. The atmosphere feels really authentic, and the food is fantastic. I happened to pop in during Taco Tuesday, so naturally I ate 10 tacos and paid $10. Definitely worth a stop.

Pretty good California burrito. Their grilled chicken tastes kinda seasoned differently and in larger bits than you'll find elsewhere.
One of the best restaurants in Campbell/San Jose. Authentic Mexican food! The owner helped us by giving us a food donation after my mom passed away. She did that because my mom used to frequent this restaurant all the time and she really liked the menudo they serve. I highly recommend this place, to be seated right away go before 5pm!

The food was tasty, especially the cocktails. The prices are fair. They're not overly priced. Good place to swing by after work, have some dinner, and request songs from the live performer. Not a fancy restaurant by any means, just a nice low-key place to enjoy live music and good food.
We were promptly greeted and seated. Lots of interesting wall decor and smells that were legit. The bowl of posole was full of goodies. It did lack salt but that's something one can add in rather than never take out. The pl barbacoa was generous as well. Tasty handmade corn tortillas were right on point. The meat was tender and the salsas were very tasty. Our server was on top of taking care of us.
Overall good super steak burrito. No chips given with order. I ordered in person for take out. Got mild salsa on the side. They charged a 2% card fee which I didn't see anywhere posted, not that big of a deal but just a heads up. Decent parking in the plaza. Lots of seating inside.

My oh my was I in for a surprise! The food was pretty good I got fish ceviche (I was hungover 😅) and it was very tasty and prepared right. My only hickup was there was something weird and stringy mixed in with it. I still ate most of it but thats one thing that tripped me out. Not enough to give them less than 4 starts tho. The staff was very friendly and all of my requests were answered. Looking forward to going back again.
Came to La Jaiba on Friday night around 845pm. Sadly, the restaurant was empty other than a large birthday party. Realizing that the holiday season is a slow time for a lot of places but I hope this wasn't an indication of how it will be normally. The waitress was a delight and gave us all the time we needed to order. The interior is cute and the chairs are comfortable. I've decided to not go to places that don't invest in comfortable seating for their patrons. The menu is really big and could potentially be a detriment to them to keep so many items fresh and available, but what we had was delicious. Our drinks were VERY tasty and well balanced. We had the La Reyna (very pineapple'y)! and the Macchu Pichu had the craziest super delicate fizz to it that I cannot explain. Really really good! We intended on having a light bite and failed miserably! The 1/2 pineapple with seafood was the size of a small child! Full of grilled pineapple, prawns, octopus, calamari, oysters, fish filet, a crab leg...etc. It came with rice and beans and homemade corn tortillas. The only thing missing was some bread to soak up the sauce! The Camerones Enchiladas La Diabla were mucho diabla! Very hot but very delicious! The rice and beans had tons of flavor. We basically waddled out of the restaurant and closed it down. The prices are a bit high so we wouldn't go on a regular basis for seafood items and drinks but we are interested in the traditional Mexican food items now that we've tasted their seafood. This isn't allowing me to add photos so look for them on Yelp I guess....

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.6/5) Taqueria y Mariscos La Jaiba was a good experience overall. The food was tasty, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Even though the place is small, it was impressive — they serve one of the best micheladas I’ve ever had! It was my first time ordering a molcajete, and I didn’t expect such a large portion or for it to come out piping hot. The flavor was good, though not something I hadn’t tried before. The homemade tortillas did not disappoint! The fish and seafood were a bit tough for my taste, and the clams could’ve been more tender, but overall it was enjoyable. A solid spot with generous portions, great service, and excellent micheladas.
The food does take some time to arrive. Also, you only get one serving of chips and have to order more separately. The servers are very friendly and try their best to accommodate you. Their prices are reasonable and they have a decent selection of salsas. I ordered a Regular Burrito with Chorizo (meat of choice).
