Trattoria "Le Baste" is a family-friendly place, serving simple yet tasty cuisine. I really appreciated the two main historic spaces: the entrance and the secluded room on the right with a fireplace and historic beamed ceiling. I tried the set menu during a business lunch, with limited choices and menus to fill out at the table and hand to the waitresses. The veal with tuna sauce, fried cod, and baked potatoes alone are worth the price of the lunch, which is more than fair. The service was truly fast! Congratulations. Posh people and those who follow trends should stay away, because at Le Baste everything is as it should be: good, friendly, sincere. Real. If I was helpful, follow me and leave me a like! 👍🏼☺

We chose this trattoria on the fly, with no pretensions. We were served immediately even though the place was already almost full. The quality of the food was good and in line with the price. The full set menu Monday through Friday costs €11. The portions were adequate, and we were satisfied. It's a good choice for a Sunday lunch without feeling too snobbish.

To fully understand Le Baste, you have to go inside, because from the outside it looks completely different! The cuisine is good and traditional, and the service is very friendly. The atmosphere is reminiscent of times gone by: the authenticity and tranquility of the countryside. And then there's the unexpected surprise of the beautiful internal garden.

A typical country trattoria-bar, with a large, original historic dining room, fireplace, and beautiful exposed-beam ceiling. They've now added a large, solid wood gazebo in the large enclosed garden, a great place to stroll and let the kids play safely. I go there with my family at Christmas and Easter, and I'm never wrong! The traditional menu features cured meats and a light gnocco fritto (fried dumplings), two mixed first courses, and three meat-based second courses: veal with tuna sauce, leg of pork, and lamb, plus side dishes. Naturally, dessert and a selection of wines are available, and the quantity and quality of the food is excellent. Family-friendly prices.

In the evening, it's neither glorious nor infamous, but the prices are those of much more reputable restaurants. During the week, at lunchtime, the quality is acceptable and the prices competitive.

I don't know what yardstick other people will use to give 4 stars to a business menu that is nothing short of scandalous... the first courses were sparse (everything was dry and under-seasoned). The second course was supposed to be turkey in white wine!!! They looked like pieces of boiled turkey, tasteless and dry (not even a hint of white wine... the service was too fast (rush to send you away)... the only decent thing was the baked potatoes... for the rest, 11 euros??? Even too much for the poor quality and the whole thing... Obviously I don't recommend it and I will never return...: the photo of the fabulous turkey that I don't think even the hospital serves.

We entered the restaurant and a lady gave us a really rude reception. She told us, "You're too many, you should have booked." Then she went to the kitchen and came back and told us you can make do with leftovers. I also did this job, and the first thing they taught me was to greet customers with a smile. And kindness must be the most important thing.

I absolutely do not recommend it. We went for my dad's birthday... We had worse food than in a canteen... You eat better there. A self-service!!! Terrible service and a neglected place. The six of us were all dissatisfied and practically starved. The food was literally pitiful... The pasta with meat sauce and sauce seemed to have been reheated from the day before and the roast meat was equally disgusting... I say, what do you give customers?!!! Paid a lot without having eaten... And four flavors of desserts at a stretch... Not even a list of desserts... Absurd... Never ever ever again... Much less a work lunch... Even if it were as you said, you'd never see us again.
