The vegetarian sandwich was good so was the cafe sedat. the spring roll was also good. If anyone's interested in trying it out I recommend doing so after you go to Paris beauty School and urban Barber college because it does have an interesting long-lasting effect on one's perspective. From my point of view it cleared up a few mysteries so mystery salt and 3 little pigs and warewolves and Island of the Blue dolphin, into the wild and wmotorcyle when the rush comes, wizard of oz, cabaret, interstellar and the consumer product, sporting goods*** "aqualung" diving flippers. Solved. And pointed me in the direction of some thing that I needed to take care of regarding a spa day and also regarding my storage. There is also a close relationship that I needed to repair. Like I said that is how it tasted to me and the impression that it left on my mind. Like the pixies song where is My mind, that is exactly the song I would recommend listening to after all that is completed. Cannonball run anyone?
Great banh mi sandwiches at reasonable prices. Typical Vietnamese fare, with some unique dishes too. Service is prompt and friendly, ambiance is contemporary, inviting and tasteful. While there is another popular Vietnamese restaurant at this shopping mall, Saigon Bistro is a great place to dine if you want quiet setting to discuss business or have a nice conversation.
The staff were inviting, friendly and attentive. The food was amazing!!!! I had a large combination pho and it was delicious and the Vietnamese iced coffee equally delicious and strong. We arrived at a great time as it was busy but we did not have to wait for seating, service and food. We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday. We will be back again.
Went here for lunch on a recc from a co-worker. Was not disappointed at all! We were greeted and seated right away. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi and a thai iced tea both were great! Good bread, fresh veggies, and flavorful pork. Thai ice tea really hit the spot too. My co-worker got a banh mi as well along with a spicy pho - He let me try some of his pho, good portion and flavor and they had all the sauces at the table. It’s definitely a great lunch spot - fair prices, quick service and good food.
The BBQ pork bahn mi was excellent. I had them add extra meat. It was awesome with the to-go hoisin sauce packet. Ill add a picture when I get another one (soon). The bread was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Total perfection.
Homey local gem that is great value for money. Ordered take out grilled pork banh mi sandwich for only $8 incl tax and tip. Generously stuffed with lots of marinated grilled pork, pickled veggies, jalapeños and cilantro. Crusty bread. Sandwich including the bun was warm at pick up. Condiments provided were hoisin sauce and siracha. Forgot to take a photo as I ate the delicious sandwich too fast. Efficient and easy service. All this for under $10. Come support this local business!!
Always a good meal. The Vietnamese sandwiches are good, the appetizers are great, and the Pho is awesome. If you are shy and get the plain Jane sliced steak or the every part of the animal except the bones version of the Pho they are equally as tasty. Clean atmosphere. Good lunch spot if you don't have a lot of time, or if you want to sit and take your time. The only thing I could think of that isn't great is the having to get your order to go if you call ahead instead of dine in, but that is probably the most tiny and petty thing I could imagine so it doesn't make it drop a star. The food is the reason to eat somewhere and if you like Pho (and who doesn't) then you are in for a treat.
Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches at reasonable price ($10) per sandwich with lots of meat. Delicious! I found this place about two months ago, and I enjoyed the sandwiches so much that I drove extra 8 miles from Walnut Creek to this restaurant
A friend of mine referred me to this restaurant in Concord. I am a Pleasanton resident and my wife and I decided to give it a try. We both had the noodles with shrimp and egg rolls. We also ordered the buttery calamari as an appetizer. The food was very flavorful, the service was great and we had a delight-full dining experience. Well worth the drive! Next time we will try other entries, the food portions are very generous; we brought some home and enjoyed it as a late snack. The quality of food vs the $$$ is absolutely phenomenal.
Food here is authentic and probably one of the best Viet places in this area. The star dish here is banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe) with crispy pork belly and shrimp. It was good and very close to homemade, maybe even better than homemade since the batter is extra crispy and can’t seem to ever get it that crispy at home. It comes with a large plate of lettuce and fresh herbs to wrap the crepe and dip into fish sauce. I highly recommend this dish here- either as a shared app or entree. Another noteworthy mention is the bun rieu (tomato and crab soup). It’s decent. The broth is very flavorful, but definitely ask for more shrimp paste and sate sauce on the side if you want the authentic flavors.
Went here, two weeks ago, with 7 friends after a hike together. Very nice staff and great food in a comfortable setting. We had a great time. I had the veggie vermicelli which was good. Nobody had a bad thing to say about their food or the place. The woman who recommended it was Vietnamese and had been here before.
I have been to this place on a monthly basis at least for over 8 years and have not had the same experience anywhere else. Their beef pho soup bowls are my family's favorite, i brought my daughter from age 4-11 and she recently visit this place as teenager and send me a picture. I teared up because I've had a lot of emotional bowls comforting me in my struggle years with school and work as young mother. Some of our best times on the weekends were in here enjoying a bowl of soup. This place is dear and near to my heart. In 9 years living in Concord and around the area, I've never had a bad experience. Thank you very much!
Good pho, generous portions. The Bahn mi was good and so was the vermicelli. We liked the egg rolls. Service was good, the timing of serving all of us was a bit off. And they forgot the pearls in the drink but overall good
I come here for the amazing vietnamese sandwiches! Sorry, I was hungry and took a bite before the pic. Anyway, been doing take out for a while now and ate in for first time in a while. Their teams and boba shakes are good too. My daughter likes the spring rolls and pho. But the best part is the sandwich, the bread is always crunchy and soft, and the veggies full of flavor. Go now.
Pretty good across the board but it’s the only Vietnamese place on this side of the tunnels I know of that offers Bahn Xeo (pronounced bun sow). It’s #69 on their menu and I highly recommend it. Very messy but so worth it. Don’t overthink it. Just trust me and go there and order at least one of them. It can be shared but you’ll probably want your own.
I recently visited the Saigon Bistro in Concord and had the best Vietnamese sandwich. The service was quick and easy. The sandwich was tasty and filling. The portion size was generous and the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was also top notch. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Vietnamese sandwich.
Super friendly staff. Food was pretty good I really enjoy the vermicelli bowl. Dessert was a plus!

I had a BBQ pork banh mi sandwich. It was very good and the veggies were nice and crunchy.
Best Banh Mi sandwiches in the east bay for me. Been to a lot of places in the bay area and for me this is the spot. $8 for a sandwich. They are not like other spots that charge you for a different meat/flavor banh mi. I try to come here at least 3 times a month when I'm passing by because I don't live in Concord.
Saigon Bistro is our weekly favorite—friendly staff and amazing food. We’ve tried nearly everything, but the pho combination, chicken banh mi, and boba milk tea are unbeatable!

Haven't been back here in a long time. Just got some sandwiches to go. They were good but I think best not to order on a Sunday. Roll seemed old and was not crispy like I'm used to. Larger than normal sandwiches but a higher price point than what most would expect. Still like the place but it may need some TLC to bring back to when it first opened.
Some of the best Pho in Concord. Really good place to grab lunch. I like the menu options by far. The broth is always tasty and the egg rolls are a good start. It is not easy to find on the first time visit so look near Starbucks on the walkway to Fry's. Not the best place for parties larger than 4 so keep this in mind.
We like this place as we used to go to Kevin's pho a lot. More variety including Vietnamese sandwiches
Third time eating here so thought I dropped a review. Banh mi sandwich es we're flavorful with the right balance of sauce and veggies. My son and I really enjoyed the chicken and grilled pork. We've ordered one of each per visit. I like how simple it is to place the order via the kiosk, especially to go. Last night we decided to dine in. I had the grilled pork with egg roll vermicelli dish and I appreciated the fresh veggies. The fat was nicely charred. My son had the grilled pork rice dish and a grilled pork banh mi (he was famished from band rehearsal:-)). The ambiance is nothing spectecular; just another standard Vietnamese restaurant. Nothing fancy but service and food was good.
Looking for a place with bun reiu and bun bo hue, and this place had both! They were not the best ever but definitely scratched the itch and would recommend if you're looking for these dishes on this side of the tunnel. Also order papaya salad which was good, and will be back to try other things.
A Perfectly Passable, No-Frills Phở Fix. This phở restaurant is the definition of "just okay." It serves its purpose as a quick, affordable meal but doesn't leave a lasting impression. The portion size is generous. You get a large bowl filled with a good amount of rice noodles, beef and meatballs. For the relatively low price, you certainly get a filling meal, which is a major point in its favor. Now, for the downside: the broth - unfortunately, it's where this bowl of phở falls flat, to a point it tastes somewhat watered down. It lacks the deep, complex, and savory richness that is the absolute soul of a great phở. The atmosphere is functional. It's a great casual eatery. The space is clean, and the tables are mostly set for four guests, making it perfect for a family or groupies. Overall: It's passable. If you're craving phở and are on a tight budget, it will do the job. You won't leave hungry.
I had a very good beef Banh Mi sandwich. The bread was fresh and psyche and very soft, the veggies were crisp and fresh, and the beef was cooked perfectly. I will certainly return to try other dishes.
A Vietnamese restaurant now not own by Vietnamese. Food is still delicious. The menu is not in Vietnamese. If you love curry, get the Curry Chicken Bowl with rice noodles. Very spicy. Taste even better the next day. Service is a little off. Has a different vibe. No kids menu like before. But they do have high chairs still.
Food was good. Not my preferred spring rolls, but I would for sure eat them again. Everyone there was really nice, service was kinda slow, but they were pretty busy. Peanut sauce was good also
Decently priced and a good Vietnamese restaurant in Concord. Their banh mi are tasty, the bread could be a little softer. I tend to get their bun rieu and occasionally beef pho.

Great bbq pork banh mi with soft bread and they will add extra pickles if you want. Their pho also hits the spot on a cold day. The broth is clean and flavorful. 👍🏼

Im not convinced the meat for the Bahn Mi was made in house. Also I was pretty turned off by its taste. The people were nice. But I'm not coming back unfortunately
I'm not sure, but I think their recipe changed. We always get their fried chicken wings and for some reason it's saltier then usual. Their pho was a bit saltier too. Not just once, but so far Evey time we visit. Why do we keep going you may ask? It's the only place close by that doesn't include pork broth to their soup, and they do have other items we like a lot.
Saigon Bistro is an absolute disaster. We arrived at 6:30 PM, eager to try this place, but were shocked when they refused to serve us, claiming they closed at 7 PM. When I pointed out it was only 6:30, the server got incredibly rude and dismissive. This place clearly doesn’t care about their customers. Do yourself a favor and avoid this awful establishment. Spicy Joi, just a few doors down, offers much better food and service. Saigon Bistro is a waste of time and money. Don’t bother going there – ever.
Bah mi sandwich needs improvement for my taste. Cheap bread, fatty pork and vegies chunky. But it certainly did have quantity and did fill you up!
The moment my plate hit the table, I knew how it was going to go. My grilled beef rice plate was looking pretty weak. Taste was ok but not much in the way of grilling was evident. Meat was a bit chewy. That said, I thought the price was pretty reasonable for a rice plate with a side of salad and a small soup.
Not a bad little spot for some Vietnamese food. We came here for lunch on a weekday. It was mildly busy but we were seated right away. The servers were very nice and brought us menus and glasses of cold water. We started off with an order of the pork spring rolls. It wasn’t mind blowing but wasn’t bad either. The portion was pretty good too. For my main entree, I opted for a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and an egg roll. The bowl was plenty large and was filled with vermicelli noodles and a good amount of pork. The overall taste was ok but the pork was on the dry side and not as hot as I hoped. It was also cut very thin, something I not accustomed to. The rest of the bowl included fresh herbs and sliced cucumbers along with the traditional shredded pickled carrots. Overall, the bowl was filling but the it wasn’t as authentic in terms of flavors. However, the menu is very large offering banh mi and pho as well as other noodle soups. So the next time I’m here I’ll try something different. The service was prompt and quick. Our food did not take long at all to arrive. Prices were about average for a place like this. They accept credit cards and you pay at the counter when you’re done.
I got the Chicken Banh Mi and mango slush. I got it to go because this is a sit-down service or to go. It was tasty and reasonably quick.

Very disappointed in the grilled pork bahn mi. Hardly any flavor and quite greasy. A good portion of meat but it didn’t have any flavor. Could have used some heat from a jalapeño. I wouldn’t try it again.
They forgot my husbands soup and then said he didn't order it. The only reason we went there is because Kevin's noodle house was closed for Lunar New year. The Avocado shake tasted like sweet cream. On the plus side, the chicken salad appetizer was huge and good. Which was great considering we had to share my small bowl of pho.
The Mexican waiter was very nice and polite. If you're Vietnamese, then you might frustrated when eating here as I don't think Pho and Bun Bo is authentic. The broth was very bland for Bun Bo and it tasted like they used Pho broth and but some instant Bun Bo flavor to make the dish. We also called deep fried tofu and was really upset about it. They literally took the tofu from the freezer and deep fried it, so it was still COLD when we eat. Worst experience ever. I guess this place doesn't have much customer as they located in the corner, so that's why they gotta freeze things.

This is a deli, not a nice restaurant by any stretch. It is old and grimy. But based on some favorable reviews, I gave it a try. Some of the WORST food I have ever had. The spring rolls were soggy, flavorless, and they don't come with peanut sauce but some kind of watered down fishy tasting soy sauce. I am vegan, so that was got tossed right away. I tried making some of my own peanut sauce to save this, but the gross sogginess could not be improved even by a good flavored sauce. The veggie noodle main dish I got was equally as bad. At least most of it was fresh, but nearly flavorless, the noodles soggy and again, came only with that watery fishy liquid they pass off as a sauce. I have strong feeling about not wasting food but this was so disgusting, I ended up throwing half if it away. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant.
Poor customer service. Tried to rip me off when i asked to buy the french bread roll plain (the bread used to make the vietnamese sandwich). The guy thinks I don't know the general price for the bread itself; it usually costs only 50 cent each! The cash register guy try to sell it for $2 each! Avoid this place! Kevin's Noodle in that same plaza has more authentic food without trying to rip you off.
