This was a very delicious authentic Puerto Rican experience. Drank a Medalla and played dominoes while we waited for our meal. The mofongo was extraordinary! As a Puerto Rican myself, it’s been hard to find a place that rivals my mom’s cooking but this is the place. Large portions and absolutely delicious. We had the mofongo with shrimp in creole sauce and my husband had it with pork chunks and creamy garlic sauce. Will definitely be coming back… with my mom!
The food was delicious! I had the stuffed mofongo with shrimp and a creamy garlic sauce. WOW. It was on point. It was a big portion as well! Friendly family oriented service. The tables have dominos that surely kept us occupied as we waited for our food. It’s a small restaurant that stands out in a big way when it comes to good food!
Great food. Large portions. Very tasty but not salty. Service was fast and nice. Picture of stuffed mofongo , beef empanadas and medalla light beer.
Hidden Latin food gem. As you step in the music is going. Great server that offered daily specials available till 4pm. I recommend the Chaito bowl with the Caribbean sauce. My kids loved that sauce. The lunch palomilla steak is a great portion. As you wait for the food you can play dominos.
Food enthusiasts! Let's chat about my recent lunch at Chaito's Latin Social – a place that left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the location is perfect, parking is a breeze, and the restaurant's interior has this cozy charm that sets the mood just right. Now, for the constructive bits. While the food wasn't a complete letdown, being a Mofongo aficionado with a taste for the homemade and Puerto Rican varieties, their take was unique, bordering on the slightly soggy and heavily seasoned side – a departure from my usual preferences. But let's talk about the highlights: the cafe con leche was a standout winner, rich, flavorful, and a true delight that added a boost to the overall experience. And, oh, the yuca bites! Those were a delightful surprise – crispy, flavorful, and a definite must-try. In terms of service, it was neither outstanding nor lackluster. It missed that lively engagement that can elevate the dining experience, and this brings me to the pricing. At this price range, I anticipate a harmonious blend of top-notch service and food quality, and unfortunately, it falls a bit short. Despite the mixed feelings, I'm willing to give Chaito's another shot. After all, taste is subjective, and perhaps my palate just needed time to adjust. Give it a go and form your own verdict. Every taste bud is on its unique journey!
If you’re a fan of bold flavors and authentic cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit! Their Mofongo Bowl is savory and packed with perfectly mashed plantains that balance crisp edges with a fluffy center. The Vaca Frita—crispy, shredded beef that’s marinated to perfection and seared just right. We really enjoyed our meal and hope to be back very soon!
The atmosphere is inviting. A place you can go with family, friends & colleagues. The food is full of Latin flavors. My kids are picky eaters but they surely enjoyed their food here. The staff is friendly, attentive & welcoming who greet you with a smile when coming in. The Chaito bowl is a must have.
I came in for the lunch special. I really enjoyed the chicken. It wasn't dry at all with lots of Spanish flavor. The rice and black beans were spot on. I came in a week before and had the chicken soup. Again it was really good. This may sound odd. I was blown away by the Cuban bread. Like omg.
Came in on a Saturday evening for the first time. They are a recently opened Puertorican inspired restaurant, with a several Puertorican and Latin inspired dishes. The service was fantastic from beginning to end. Our server was super attentive. Both the manager and the owner came to our table to check on us. Great vibes a great music, playing mostly salsa. They are still figuring out some kinks and keep an eye on their IG as I was able to order some thing that were not on the menu. To start we had their guava mimosas (not on the menu) 10/10. For appetizers we had the tripleta empanadas 7/10 (they were a bit dry it needed cheese or meat sauce inside) For dinner we had their Arroz manposteao with steak 10/10 super delicious (the chimichurri sauce has a kick so maybe ask for it on the side if you don’t like spicy) We also had the mofongo with fried pork 7/10 (the pork was fried to perfection and well seasoned) (the mofongo wasn’t great it was dry and needed to cook longer and mashed more. For dessert we ordered the guava cheesecake which was absolutely delicious 🤤 also not in the menu. And took one to go. The bar was playing with how to make a sangria which they provided us with a complimentary glass to try and provide them with our opinion. Overall I recommend to try and I will be back.
We stumbled across this fairly new eatery on a whim. The food was good. The mofongo was good. They have a choice of different sauces, which stuck me a s bit nonconventional, but i guess it was ok. The service was great. I would recommend.
Finally tried this hot spot and was impressed! Even the picky eater liked his Churrasco. The Chaito bowl I had was very tasty with lots of chicken. Mofongo was excellent too. Empanada appetizers were overstuffed!! Pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. Definitely will be back!
The food is really good and very cozy atmosphere. The mimosa with guava omg amaizing. The dessert 🍨 mmmm .Gabriel give amaizing service and in the meantime you wait for the food you can play Domino and listen our salsa music.
Wow, we found a diamond! Excellent friendly service, and the food was amazing. Appetizer of topped tostones was enough for 4 people and only $11. My wife had the Mamposteao and loved it. I had the Chaito Bowl, and it was also fantastic. That orange sauce is delicious. Very hard to pick what to eat, too many delicious looking choices. We'll be back.
The place is very beautiful. Small but comfortable. The food was excellent I asked my Mofongo with extra garlic and it was perfect. My husband had the tostón burger and looks delicious The chef is Boricua and I had the chance to meet him. Super nice. Our server , Daniel was very sweet and did a great job. Just one little thing I did not like The manager or owner ( standing by the bar with his laptop open ) did not had an eye contact with us , a smile or ask if everything was good. For a new place I will be there greeting my customers and making sure they enjoy their time there. Just saying !!
Not to many authentic Puertorican food of quality but this place has been great Try the mofongo with multiple proteins. I had the churrasco with chicharrón
The food is amazing!! Their service is outstanding and the staff is very professional and friendly. It was with waiting for them to open. I will be ordering tons from this restaurant!! Share with my family and friends. Loved the message on the dessert very personalized. Love it!! I had to come back and review the flan!! The expresso flan from Chaito's OMG !!! You gotta try it. Wooow how amazingly delicious!!! A perfect consistency of the flan and flavor combination is absolutely perfect!! A MUST OMG!
New place in Cooper City. Will be back to try more from their menu. Good ambiance, great service. The food was really good, they did not have a few things from the menu, I’m sure as time progresses they will get better at this. Worth a try. Recommended.

Had to see what the praise was all about. Overall, small restaurant inside the plaza..enjoy the fried Yucca and pork egg rolls. Added a salad to top it off. Waited quite some time for the appetizers. 20 mins I think. Didn't feel like ordering anything that would take the time away. Good ambience. Manager was very attentive to our needs. I didn't like being so close to guest as far a seating space. Menu is nothing crazy. Hope it gets better here. 🫡 that pork egg roll had my attention 😂👌

Food had great taste but the mofongo was dry the alcapuria was overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. The empanadas were good but a bit runny with juice from the inside filling. The lemonade wasn’t as delicious as I had expected. The pictures looked great but the flavor not so much. The chuleta can can had great taste but was a bit dry. And well a lil game of domino was fun while we waited.

The food looked good online so I was exited to try it but it was not fresh and did not taste very good. They did not have a lot of the things we asked for that were on the menu. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
