Credit to this restaurant. There are not a lot of places to eat in Cooperstown, and we were pretty exhausted when we got there. The dining room is closed, but there was plenty of outdoor seating and those tables/chairs were clean. Staff apologized for the dining room closure and said it was due to a lack of staffing.
Quick drive thru scrambled egg special order well done.
Read reviews and thought it would be the cheeks. Is actually the best McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had. All orders came fast and accurate. Shoutout to Cooperstown, a lovely end to a lovely day. Thank you McDonald’s! My heart is singing, as is my tummy lol! 😂 I will sleep peacefully in bed tonight, knowing that Ronald McDonald has smiled upon me. Wish I could give it 6 stars!

This is your typical McDonald's. The staff are friendly and the place was clean. The menu is the standard menu and they have it displayed on digital menu screens, so it can sometimes be annoying if you are trying to decide what you want and it changes to show you a picture/video of a certain food item. They sometimes have special events for children like the easter bunny visit, and I've seen a little bookshelf with children's books for kids to look at while they wait. Service is fast and the dining area seems spacious and modern. If you're in Cooperstown trying to stick to a budget for your dining options this is a great place to come to.
Food was great, service was good too. Only complaint is that the dining room was closed both times we visited. Sign said staffing shortages…not sure why they can’t at least allow access to the restrooms and mobile ordering though.
This McDonald's had no iced tea, so we opted for a cherry slushie, which wasn't slushy at all, and then had to tell her how I wanted my eyes coffee, even though we put it all on the app. This was one of the most unprepared McDonald's I have been to.
Fairly standard McDonald's. Staff is nice, building appears clean, food is as good as McDonald's food gets. Everytime I go through the drive thru it is quite slow (even when the place looks empty and there are no other cars).
There was nothing wrong with the service here. They were prompt and friendly. It was really hot and muggy out. The food itself was as good as fast food goes. The one thing that made the experience one that was not really great was the catsup dispenser was literally teeming with about a half dozen flies. Catsup had crusted over the spigot and dried into a fruit roll up consistency. The flys were all over it. They were using an older dispenser that was obviously broken and that was unsanitary. I alerted the manager of the health code violation. I worked in food service for almost 15 years and dammed well knew this was not sanitary. I made my point and asked them to remove it and to give me catsup packets instead. They did both. Everything else about the place was pleasant. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. During baseball season (summer baseball camps are in the area) at this location that is not the norm. The bathrooms usually suffer the most in a place like this.
The window staff are friendly and efficient. The chicken sandwich was not as advertised.The roll was fresh but the chicken was cool and seemed reheated. Needs some quality control and then the reviews will be good!
This McDonald's is not one to go inside to eat. I went there once and they actually had GARBAGE CANS on the tables catching water from a leaking ceiling. On the other side of the restaurant the soft drink machine was leaking all over the floor. Also terrible at stocking supplies like ketchup and napkins.
Please take this as good criticism. I have stopped here plenty of times and for a spot to stop on the way for a road trip, or for a quick on the way dinner this place just doesn’t do it. Failure to include items ordered, Failure to include simple items like straws for drinks every single visit, failing to include sauces that are paid for, burgers that are smashed to bits, and finally every single stop has been a “pull forward and wait”, typically a 10-15min wait too. When you cause your customers to wait that’s 100% respectable if you made the food that was to order and decently put together. I am baffled sometimes how the meal takes extra time and it comes looking like a toddler handed it. I am hoping the building is much cleaner for food prep that what I am being lead to believe. Please this is a lot of negative feedback but these are simply issues that are not a one time thing but consistent with just about every trip.
Food was great, but they put sugar in my iced coffee even though the order was taken and put in correctly. The order board clearly said "no liquid sugar", but it was loaded. I had to throw it away because I cannot have sugar for medical reasons and there was not time to go back. I lost my caffeine and my money. Disappointed.
So slow during baseball season. But they do their best to keep up. Also, though, their ice cream machine is down 89% of the time.
Service for interior was slow, to be fair their drive thru was busy. However this is not the first McDs that I've experienced them prioritizing drive thru for dining room.. Even though we used the kiosk,, instill expect someone to greet me.
I am very happy about the quality of food I have gotten from this McDonald's, its just that their fryers have been down for several weeks so no fries, fish, nuggets or chicken sandwiches have been available. Staff are always very nice. My score is based on equipment issues only.
Slow staff. Served others who ordered after. Kiosks out of receipt paper and order number flashes for like 2 sec. Food was good though. Spicy snack wraps 😋 👌
Strange McDonalds, they don't offer Iced Mocha at this location ( the only thing that draws me to a McD's at this point) . Today the drive through experience Today took an hour and 10 mins. I was 8th in line..more people left than I could count. They also had no burgers except for the simple hamburgers . The 1/4 pounder beef wasn't available..I guess it was the perfect storm.
Out of regular Coke at All three stations. No one knew how to change the bag in the box. Customers had to wait for the manager, who was doing NOTHING, to take the time to change the line. I have had experience in correcting that type of situation for over thirty years. It doesn't take over two minutes. Observed other customers returning product for unknown reasons. I was not given by whole complete order. Very high prices because of the location near a Little League Village
Drive thru is fair, but in general the indoor service is very poor. Ordered a McChicken sandwich, 4pc McNugget, sm fry, sm ice tea and a frozen coke (had to change to cherry) 15 minute wait and even had a individual come in after me, Order and got their food first. Place wasn't busy.
I came to the McDonalds A little bit after 12:45pm. I was going to Feed my Baby. And the drive thru was packed so I'd figure I'd go in. There was only a couple standing in front of me. There was also a lady that was on an iPad walking around asking people if anyone needed a help or anything. The counter person got through the couple fast. Then it was my turn. Then the Lady behind me. I grabbed my Table tent and found a table that looked appealing to me. Put the baby down and waited for my food. I waited a Total of 16 minutes for it to be brought out. The food was made okay. But it was packaged near perfect. A little Messy, which if you like a slightly messy burger-you would have enjoyed it. (It was an Enjoyable mess though) I did, even though it was slightly cooled after I asked for it dropped fresh/Cook-to-order. I understand that the girl on the counter was new. So instead of saying something, about anything, I decided to just say thank you. I worked at McDonald's once so I know how it is, and in food service customers can be so Mean! When I realized I needed ketchup, I got up, and started walking towards the ketchup/drink bar, when the lady that was standing behind me grumbled, "Well There Goes My Lunch Break, Unbelievable." I replied back to her and said "She's definitely new and just trying her Best, I was trying to be patient, when I realized that." The Lady then replied, "I was trying to be patient too. But 15-20 minutes for A Chicken Sandwich?!" At that point I didn't say anything. Yes, I understand that this person was in a hurry. And it IS "Fast Food"; but at least she showed up to work to take her order. And At Least she's Working. Maybe the Grill People Took Too Long? Or it's only her second day. I could see if I was in a hurry, how I might be a little upset. In fact, it has before around the "lunch time rush." My Recommendations: Try to Go after the "Lunch Rush" Some days they have it together, and some days they don't. (Just like you and me) If you do decide to go in at Lunch, and they are short staffed, it's probably better to Try ordering on a Kiosk. Because then they CAN'T Ignore it, and someone should already be there-bagging drive Thru Orders. Pros: *Enough Clean Tables so I could Choose *Everything was Stocked up at the Ketchup and Drink Bar. *Order Accuracy *Kindness and Promptness from Staff at Front Counter and Managers Cons: *Food was a little colder. *Took over 15-20 Minutes *A Little Slow
This location does great with accurate custom orders but takes forever for any order and fries are consistently old and over salted. I rarely get sauce for nuggets when going threw the drive through. Inside is well stocked and clean.
Food was hot and fresh, but had to wait an eternity to get it. Were out of some sauces and pies most days. They were short staffed. Unfortunately this is the only fast food joint close to the fields or in and around Cooperstown for that matter. Hopefully the owner/operator/franchisee of this certain McDonalds wakes up and closes it down. Make it a Chick-Fil-A or something more popular.
It’s McDonald’s so ya know. It was fine. But I said no ketchup and guess what my burger had on it. Should have double checked before driving away.
The food was good but the service lacked hard core. It was like they couldn't be bothered with helping and God for bid you needed help or the order was wrong. We had to stand in front and yell for someone to help It took several mins to get one of the three people working to acknowledge us. Could kinda understand if they were busy but we were the only three people in the place at 830 pm
Food is on par with other McDonald's... BUT the service is SO slow you night as well good sit down at a restaurant with good food... speed of service is why ANYONE goes to a McDonald's, this one doesn't offer that! 52 minutes in line with 8 cars and 23 minutes in line for 4 cars another time. Lucky for this location alternate options are quite limited. So you are forced to use them. Just dont do with the expectations of "fast" food!
Locked the doors at 2pm with customers still inside and a line outside to get in, complaining that new orders kept coming through and they were trying to close because nobody came to work. Leadership needs to do better with scheduling/hiring if needed for a Sunday when you know 10,000 new kids are in town for baseball.
Had 2 separate orders, the first one the big Mac should have had extra sauce... We were charged for it, but if that was extra then it was a joke. The second order was 2 kids meals they got one right and couldn't manage to understand that it got a cheeseburger!
Took 30 minutes for two happy meals and two quarter lb meals, when I complained the lady said I was welcome to apply there cause they were short staffed. Very unprofessional and I'll be going to Wendy's from now on.

It's hard to imagine that a great franchise like McDonald's known for consistency could have such a poor restaurant. Service was slow, the place was dirty, McNuggets weren't cooked consistently (some pieces were light in some areas). A woman standing next to me and I looked on in shock as new fries were cooked and then old fries were scooped off the shelf and mixed with the new fries. I felt sick just being in the place. I'm sure this would change overnight with some management attention.
Rude, unprofessional, and slow. Workers here need to take customer service classes.
Showed up at 9:05 on a friday night. 6 cars in drive-thru. Go on phone and verify hours. Restaurant & Lobby Hours State 6am-10pm. Employee outside smoking cig Tells me lobby closes at 9pm all year long. Not what website states. Go back to car and proceed to wait another 30 minutes in line. Finally get to screen and car in front places entire team order for $115. Get to screen and employee tells us “we’ll get to you in 30 minutes theres only 3 of us working”. Waiting an hour for food at 9pm on a friday night is unacceptable.
I wish I could give 0 stars. The employees struggle with production. If at anytime there is more than 1 customer, it's panic time. Poor management, it's been this way for years, can't blame the employee.
Absolutely atrocious, as somebody who even worked at this McDonald’s locations specifically in the past with the strive for one minute ticket times for TTL‘s. This is nowhere near achievable. The average time that I have spent at this McDonald’s waiting whether it’s in the lobby, or in the drive-through for an order is no less than 35 minutes. For the same price and the same weight, you can very very easily, go order food at any number of restaurants in the Cooperstown area and achieve your meal and less time with greater satisfaction. This is nothing but a disappointment to both the name and the brand of McDonald’s. If I could give a 0 star review on google I would. Avoid this specific establishment at all costs if you were to drive to the location on chestnut street in Oneonta from this one you would still make it back before they could prepare your order
I don't know what happened to the managers and shift managers that have been here for a while. It seems to be all new staffing and management. The new manager which glasses and black hair always in a long pony tail does not take criticism well. We come here all the time for iced coffee and everytime this past week shes made them they've been terrible and taste like majorly water down coffee so today I said something she got snotty and slammed new ones on the counter and walked away. She was in Richfield springs mcdonalds and did the same thing to me there when I brought them back. For a manager she needs to learn how to handle criticism.
waited 15 minute for my order. The manager didn’t bother to even look at me to wonder why I’ve been waiting yet everyone else is getting orders passing by me. People working here are miserable and show it. The manager upset with employees and showing it. The girl up front taking orders I felt so bad for her, she was doing her best to get the orders taken but the computer kept crashing. Felt bad for her. It was amusing to watch this unorganized chaos. It’s Cooperstown busy season, you think they’d be more organized and friendly. This is my second year coming to CT. Won’t be coming back to McD.
I don’t know how or why but this place has the WORST nuggets ever!!!! They don’t even resemble nuggets from the other McDonald’s. I’ve had BONES in them twice!!! They are DISGUSTING!!!! It’s like they buy expired nuggets. Gross. The service is ALWAYS slow. However it’s the only fast food in the town. Two thumbs down 👎
Worst ever McDonald’s people that work there are unprofessional and cannot deal with a fast work place. They completely forgot about our order and waited for a hour to not get served🤬🤬

Disgusting place. I've been here 3 times, and today was the 2nd time that I found hair in my food. Besides the obvious hair that was hanging 3 inches out of my burger, the bun was stale, burger patty looked like it had been left on the grill for a week, and the fries were so old and unsalted. Go to Oneonta if you want McDonald's. This one here is disgusting. Staff are dirty and the food is gross
7-27-18.. went through the drive thru. They were not busy but it took a while. Had to go back for our food, didn't give us what we ordered. We order salads there all the time and they are getting really bad every time we get one it worse then the last. Crispy chicken on the salad is so hard u can't eat it. Really bad meal all around and we give them business all year.☹☹☹

Way over priced garbage food. We stopped there after a long ride on the interstate. We were not expecting much....At least we were not disappointed. There were no other choices for food in that area.
The service is slow - I can go to the nearby cafe, order a French Dip, and have it quicker than this place will get you a burger. Lunch starts at 10:30am at most McDonald's - not this one. Leave it to this branch to mess up even the most common of things. There are some nice workers, but this place is constantly subpar by even McDonald's standards. Come on, man.
The wait in this drive thru is totally unacceptable. I arrived at 10:06am behind 8 other customers and was going to order a cinnamon roll. It was not until 10:47am that I actually reached the speaker to order only to be told they were out of the cinnamon roll. That's acceptable, but come on Management of this McDonald's franchise, 41 minutes in line to order is totally unacceptable! This is not the 1st summer that you are accommodating Dreams Park families.
All McDonald's are terrible but the Cooperstown one is the worst in the country. You will always wait 10-20 minutes or more in the drive thru, it doesn't matter the time of day or month of the year. And half the time the order will be wrong. Avoid at all costs, get something quick at Stewart's instead if you're in a hurry.
This place is NOT fast food. After FOUR trips to this location in the last week, I have never seen a McDonald's that took 25 minutes to serve your drive-thru order except for this one. In addition to that, forget about the mobile order app. They closed the lobby and it is absolutely ridiculous. Don't bother. Drive to Oneonta McDonald's.

If I could give it zero stars I would. We are not locals, we stopped on our way by. Went inside, stood at the counter to order waited 20 minutes. Finally ordered and swiped my card and the girl walked away. Waited another 20 minutes for her to come back to press a button on her end for my card to go through and give me a receipt. She then threw the receipt at me. Then she turned around an put a sign on the door and said closed because they won't give us staff. They lady waiting behind me was furious and left. As we are waiting for our food the girl with the arm in a sling was running drive though. I heard her on her come tell a customer to "you need to wait a damn min. The women on the other end said ok thank you very pleasant. The worker then said your not welcome. Then she turned around and said to another worker. Ooops i forget to put thise peoples cookies in their bag, oh well free cookies for me now. And was joking about it. Finally received our food, but no drinks. I asked for them and the girl threw them at me. I didn't say anything as much as I wanted to, we just walked out and was going to eat in our car because I didn't want to be in the lobby with the rude staff. Got to the car. Half our meal was missing, and the quarter pounders we did get were completely raw. We couldn't eat them at all. And to get back in line behind 13 cars and wait another hour and deal with the rudeness, I decided to call corporate instead. She apologized and said the district manager would be calling me today. Nope no phone call..
This is the absolute worst McDonald’s you can ever go to. Drive-through is always a 10 minute wait, taste like you get reheated fries in old oil, the manager has no standards at all, They hire the absolute, worst personnel, they give you soda from a 2 L bottle half the time, No clue how they are still running.
Not only the slowest micdonalds I have ever been to, but they have not had a deep fryer for a month now. The manager said today it could be another month before they have one. Worse micdonalds I have ever been to by far. Left with nothing, I will not be returning, There is good Chinese food next to grand union market.

This place is terrible! We waited 15 minutes in drive through for food. The next day we went inside for breakfast (which ends at 10:30 so fries for breakfast) and it’s even worse. All registered closed and couldn’t pay at kiosk. Tables are filthy.
we have been waiting for 30 minutes for 3 items, went to ask what was going on they just kept looking and didn’t come over. we went over again when a customer was being helped they said there was a big order ahead of us. there were many table tents all over the store. this is absolutely ridiculous, i’ve worked at two different mcdonald’s and it was never this slow. this is not how mcdonald’s should be run. they were also out of mcmuffins which is unacceptable. when we got the food it was warm and the hashbrown was extremely overdone! i took a bite and spit it right back out. i couldn’t get another one because they were done serving breakfast, of course. so i got a refund for the hashbrown. i should have got a refund for the whole order just because of the wait time.
Waited a half hour for just an ice coffee. Never enough staff for the amount of people trying to order, people in the drive thru were walking inside complaining they were waiting 45 min, happens every summer. Most of the staff were standing there looking confused instead of doing there job. This place is a joke. I would of walked out but I had already paid. If u want fast food this is definitely not the place to go!
I've been in the drive thru line for 35 minutes. By the time you read this, I'm probably still in line and 100 years old. Turn around, save yourselves.
Worst ever! French fries cooked in old dirty grease served cold. Nuggets same. Soda was atrocious. They need to clean their soda lines. Diet coke tasted like root beer or something unrecognizable. I told cashier I wanted sweet and sour with nuggets when I ordered she asks me twice more what kind of sauce I would like. Not listening! I will never stop there again and I make this trip weekly on the Thruway.
Worst McDonald's ever. Google needs to allow ZERO star reviews....Walked in store around 9 tonight and never spoke to an employee until 40 minutes later when i requested a refund. I had to use the self service outfront which gave no receipt. So when asking for my refund couldn't tell the manager my order number. I noticed all drive thru orders/online were taking precedent over the walk in orders so i mentioned to management maybe she should close the door and put a sign in door, she replied oh my g.m. won't ever do that. Guess it's better to have REFUNDS then decent customer service. Do yourself and family a favor and eat anywhere else in Cooperstown, might cost a few more bucks but will definitely be worth it.
Absolutely the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The manager was extremely rude, yelling at coworkers and being mouthy to customers. I couldn't believe it took 30 minutes to get a hamburger and fries. That's not right.
The absolute worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. Terrible management, poor customer service, slowest wait times, cold food, missing items! I can’t believe this establishment can even stay in business with how bad they are! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You’ve been warned.
This has to be the slowest McDonald’s on planet earth. Only 3 cars in line and it took 23 minutes to get my order. I get the wait when it’s busy but only a few cars in the lot and only 3 in the drive thru is a bit crazy.
Always slow service. Weekend morning afternoon or night. Or anytime during the week. Busy or not. Takes me about 10 minutes to wait for a poutine and a cup for a drink. Every time I come for food, it tastes nasty compared to other locations. It tastes like I’m eating a chemical cleaner as I’m eating the food. Stick to Yankee valley mcdonalds. So much faster and so much better food. Also the managers there are actually good at their job
This McDonalds needs new owners!!! We tried to get breakfast here on Tuesday at 7:45am they were closed because they said they had no one to work so we had to get Dunkin doughnuts. Then Friday the 4th we got in line at 10:30 pm behind 6 other cars we sat there until 10:55 then the cars started moving just to be told they were out of food and close in 5 minutes. Asked if we could at least get a milkshake they said no machine is turned off at 9. Will never try this again!!!!!

Terrible McDonalds. Got there and they were out of quarter pounder or double quarter pounders. Then we had to wait 30 min for food. The floor was also dirty and slippery. It also cost almost $60 for my family for meals only. I can eat at a real restaurant for that much.
I live in Cooperstown (not a tourist) and this particular McDonald’s has gone way downhill. Corporate desperately needs to be called. The wait times are abysmal. Pretty consistently, you’re looking at 40 minute+ wait times in the drive thru. I can’t imagine what’s taking so long, especially considering the business is steady, but never anything crazy or unbearable. I’ve worked at a McDonald’s franchise in the past, and I know every one of us would have been fired and replaced had we run the place like this establishment. I was handed my coffee and by the time I got my (small) order of burgers and fries, I had just about finished it already. 20 minute wait at the window, no joke. The girl who handed me the bag said “sorry for the wait” and quickly shut the window before she could barely finish the sentence. I understand Cooperstown is busy with tourism during the summer, but the wait times are totally unacceptable for the volume of customers, and it doesn’t change during the off-season, either.
50 minutes waiting in the drive thru! The manager was very angry and snapped at the customer in front of us in line while she was receiving her food because she questioned the wait time. Then snapped at the person ordering at the speaker while we were paying for our food for doing the same. Telling people how bad she has it there. Nobody cares lady, we all have jobs to do. If you don't like yours then find another one!

Went in today to get this two coffee drinks a small soda, two sauces biscuits and a hash brown. we were first at line at the register and it’s still took almost 15 minutes for somebody to take the order and then almost 30 minutes on top of that to get that simple order brought out to us. McDonald’s is supposed to be fast food. If I wanna wait that long, I would’ve went to a regular restaurant and probably gotten quicker service.
The food was not great. We waited 20 minutes and they gave us disgusting, cold old fries. We brought them back up to the counter requesting new fries. I thought I saw the person take the old fries and dump them in the fryer. We waited 20 minutes for new fries.But when the new fries were served, there were old flies that were soggy and gross but hot inside the containers. Disgusting and unsanitary. Don't eat here.
P.S.A McDonald's in Cooperstown is sooo Ridiculous it's been countless occasions that they mess up our orders they are slow as he'll and never answer the phone! Its legit the only fast food place to get coffee fast and they literally without a doubt have horrible customer service skills...maybe one or two good eggs 🥚 but they can't save the entire place they need a revamp!!! They left out two breakfast sandwiches this am and the syrup to my 5 year old hot cakes we live about 6 miles what up a mountain ⛰️ takes 10 minutes to drive back i called like 11 times to let them know we were driving back before breakfast was over and no answer I could see if your busy one call missed they have missed 11 calls .....Ridiculous I have seen them give people just buns when they ask for nothing on it like ya nothing on my cheeseburger ..lmao 🍔 .....like dead serious can't make this up
This is the worst McDonald's ever they turn their food screens off in the drive thru and do not say anything to make you think their system is down or having an issue. When you pull up to the window, the person there should be fired for totally lacking any customer service skills. I will be contacting the regional manager for this McDonald's. I will also be reaching out to the owner or franchise owner. To help him understand why his business has a very bad google rating and why his night shift is losing him or her so much money.
This is THE WORST McDonald's in existence. I'm not even sure how they stay in business. The food is cold , stale, gross, almost every time. That's if they actually have everything you order. They are often times either out of or have broken machines and aren't able to fulfill every day food items, meaning chicken nuggets, french fries, chicken sandwiches, ect., not just icecream like every other McDonald's. Tonight they were handing out cans of soda because their Co2 was broken, and they didn't tell you until you had already paid for your order. Also be prepared to sit in line FOREVER!! If there are more then 3 cars in the drive through you will be sitting there for a half hour minimum and just plan to cancel your plans for the day if there's a longer line then that because you will be sitting there FOREVER! They will also lock their doors so you can't go inside if it gets too busy for their liking. Take my advice and steer clear!!
Waited 35 minutes for my food order, all the while it was sitting there. Worst McDonald's experience ever.
Might single handedly be the slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Nothing fast about this fast food at all. 20 min wait on drive thru line. My son waited 45 min the day before. Terrible service. The manager had an attitude as well. As God is my witness I will NEVER go to this McDonald’s ever again.
Hours are until 11pm and they refused service at 11:20pm. Terrible terrible service
My family and I are staying in the hotel down the road… we came to this McDonald’s at 10:20 hoping to grab a late night snack because online says they are open til 11…. Well we drove there all the light were off so we called them and we were told they closed at 10pm…. Therefore it should not say online they closed at 11….
If you like the sloppiest mess of staff, Gross dining inside, sticky floors bugs and horrible service. Come here with your boys for your once in a lifetime Cooperstown trip. Avoid at all costs. Oh and the wait was 18 mins for chicken nuggets and fries...single order.
This location honestly blows, came once before for one drink and three cookies got moved to the second pick up window (not terrible) came a second time and the car in front of me was at the window for 30 minutes and not moved to the next pick up window. And they completely lost my order and the name it was under. Will not be returning. Mc Donald’s is trash all around anyway.
If I could rate less than 1, I would. It is unfortunate that this is our local McDonald's. IF you get all of your order, it will take at least 25 minutes in the drive thru. It took 30 minutes to get a happy meal then got home and realized they never gave the sauce for the nuggets and my kid won't wat it without that. So glad I keep wasting my money on this place. BTW McDonald's you need to make the app so that orders can be disputed. I have paid for at least 10 things I never received.
Using the drive-thu, it took 18 minutes to get our food. 18 minutes!!! Consistently slooooow drive-thru. I can't remember the last time I received my food in under 5 minutes.
How is it that I wait 20 minutes every time I pull into this drive thru and still get food that tastes like it was cooked four hours ago. How am I waiting SO LONG for the food but still get stale fries?
It's not hard to ask for ketchup only or plain but I don't know somehow it always seems to get wrong and you think it'd be easier because it's less ingredients to offer but what do I know and with today's day and age of not getting receipts you can never get your money back if they get your order wrong
Insanely slow even when placing order in advance. Drive through was insanely bad speed with no food ready. Not like other McDonald's I go to everywhere on the country
Absolutely horrible service here I have never delt with a more rude manger in my life all because they didn’t have the caramel frappe. Not my fault you don’t have the supplies. Wanted my money back for it. Was so rude told her not my fault hun thanks told my mother in law I would never come back to Cooperstown since we are from pa and the manager Michelle said good we don’t need you here. Um you don’t like your job shouldn’t be working with people
Wish that I could give this location ZERO stars. One person ahead of me in line, and one on the kiosk, and it took 24 minutes to get my food (two snack wraps, fries, drink). No urgency at all, plenty of staff, but several doing very little or no work, just standing around. Floors where they were preparing food was messy, the main “cook” decided to take a phone call during meal preparation. When he stopped, no one else stepped in. One worker decided to hand out drink cups and did so by holding each with her fingers INSIDE each cup. The best thing this McDonald’s could do for the Cooperstown area is to close down and please train these people. I’ve been going to McDonald’s for more than 50 years, and this was the single worst experience during that time.
I never thought a McDonald's could lower my expectations for fast food. Hire more staff or stay closed. I waited in line for an hour and when I finally called they informed me one person was running the full drive through, dining room, and training new hires. Not to mention the dining room was closed but since there were no employees the people inside the dining room just kept letting new people in. Any rudeness or impatience on the employees part is absolutely the fault of whoever is above them. I was a fast food manager for a long time and I would have been fired 10 times over if I was running my building like this. You know it's bad when a McDonald's has me annoyed enough to write this paragraph. Shame on y'all
If I could give this franchise ZERO stars I would. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by someone working at a restaurant. The place closes at 10pm and we arrived at 7:20pm. The door was locked and we didn't know why. There were people inside so someone let us in and the manager YELLED at us. And I mean yelled. She told us she didn't have enough help and could not help us in the lobby and we'd have to get in the drive through. Meanwhile a worker was outside taking a smoke break. We just wanted drinks. So incredibly unprofessional I can't even believe what just happened. A few days prior we were told we couldn't order more than one or two items because they were closing in 15 minutes. Really McDonald's? This place needs some serious training in customer service.
Been going here for years randomly as I need to go to Cooperstown. 9.5 times out of ten the food sucks. Service is always slower than molasses in January going up hill. They forget items or screw up orders. And recently staff has been less than friendly. I wish subway was still there.
This might be the lowest form of human consumption. This is the worst McDonald's on gods green earth. This McDonald's "striked out" on every single thing. They forgot a burger that we had ordered that was on the receipt. And this is the part that makes me so unbelievably puzzled. They FORGOT TO COOK THE CHICKEN NUGGETS. I don't know how, but as someone who knows people from other McDonald's locations, it is hard to not cook chicken nuggets. If you want to get food, go to anywhere else. I would rather not eat for a week then come back. Horrible, horrible food, service, and atmosphere.
Terrible service – unprofessional staff I had one of the worst experiences at this McDonald’s. something so basic. we ordered a chocolate sundae and they barely put any chocolate on it. When we politely asked one of the employees if we could get more chocolate (which we paid for), her attitude was extremely rude and arrogant. She clearly didn’t want to help us and gave us a nasty look. Instead of fixing the problem, she took the sundae just slightly added a little more chocolate, acting like we didn’t notice. When she handed it back, she had a mocking, disrespectful smile on her face — completely unprofessional. Employees like this should NOT be working in customer service, especially not in a food establishment. They clearly lack basic manners, respect, and professionalism. Honestly, she should be fired. Completely unacceptable behavior.
Very important note! Food here is 10-30% more expensive than it is at other McDonald's nearby! Look at the app. No excuse. Do not go here. Impossibly slow. 17 minutes for a mcflurry. 7pm. Come on. They turn off ordering in the app early to force you to go stand around inside, then don't serve anyone for 10-25 minutes. I met someone who said they'd been waiting 20 minutes for a cheeseburger meal. Menu screens are turned off "because they're on a timer" Seriously. Just do not come here. Management is actively terrible. Poor workers doing their best. I honestly hope they close down, what I poor performance. Old review below to show it hasn't changed. I'm writing this while waiting, so far, 27 minutes for a single meal... Slowest possible McDonald's. This is not fast food, do not stop here if you need a quick snack or meal. Inside waits are just as long as drive thru. Not sure what's going on here, several food options not available either... seems to be plenty of staff, but the waits are pointlessly long. I've been here during peak season, random weekdays, weekends, no matter what time I come here it seems like it's the busiest place in the world with only a few other people waiting just as long for food. Food prep is good, as standard, but the waits are horrible.
