Cooperstown Brewing Company is a laid-back brewery with a great atmosphere, friendly staff (especially Tony and Tyler), and a nice outdoor area. Customers enjoy the beer selection, especially the Carrot Cake beer and stouts. Some wish there was food available.

Delightful!
Wonderful brews
Very friendly staff
Small hidden place, good beer, nice bartender. No food, but who want's that? Have wanted to go there for awhile, glad I made it.
Went there Saturday June 20 2020 with my son had an awesome time our bartender was awesome I went there probably around 20 years ago and she told us the story with the new owners and was cool hearing how it became the way it is today thank you for the fun time
Nice place, small, friendly group. Great flights, very reasonable.
Fantastic. Far greater than anticipated.
Great beer nice little brewery. Friendly staff.
Ask for Lauren! She knows the beer and the area. Great service.
Really good beer. Service was great.
Great place for a cold beer and a brat!
Very relaxing. Great time
Great beer. Great bartender.
The best bartender ever!!@
Great experience!
Great beer
Good Craft beer!
Great place
Nice place
Talk about customer service. We showed up 1.5 hours before closing and got the best service we had in Cooperstown. The bartender/manager was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the selection of beers. The only disappointment, they don’t distribute outside NY.
After a long week of baseball with its ups and downs I have come to realize that in small towns like Cooperstown there are still people who genuinely care about others. With Chris being away from home for his birthday Dionne and I were at Cooperstown brewery and Tabitha, the bar manager, took her day off to decorate and open to allow Chris a place to have his birthday party with his Venom team and parents. There are no words that I have to express the gratitude I have for Tabitha and the brewery for the offer and her effort. If you are ever in the area and desire local beer, please stop by and say hello to a genuine good person and have a cold one.
What a great little hidden gem this place was! The service was beyond great and I honestly liked everything I tried. The flights are very reasonable. The best brewery I have tried yet in the Cooperstown area. Will definitely be going back!
Went here on our long engagement weekend and Lauren was the best. I highly recommend going here. Beers were fantastic and you cannot beat her customer service. My favorite out of the places we went. That includes Ommegang, Red Shed.
This place is great! Is was a random find and I'm so glad I did! They have signage on Main Street which is why I turned down the road. So as for Covid they are IMMACULATE! The whole place is so clean and can see how hard they are working on keeping it clean. Now the beer! I got the Bambino Red Ale which was the best red ale I have had in such a long time and the squeeze play DIPA. This place is a must try!!
A bit off the beaten path, but a homerun when it comes to beer. Great stop for both beer and baseball lovers. Their 4 baseball themed beers are all delicious. The IPA is a bit weak for hop lovers, but would still be great for a mid summer afternoon drink. There are plenty of family games for those under 21 as well.
This is a small brewery in the border of Cooperstown. It is in Milford NY and it is a nice small town. When you drive up to this brewery you get a great feeling of what a local brewery should be. It is not pretentious and they welcome you like one of their own. My wife and I have traveled here a couple of occasions from NJ and we always get a couple of cases to take home. Her favorite is the Pride of Milford, mine is the Benchwarmer. It is worth the trip!!
Okay this is just plain awesome. Haven't even tasted a beer and the place is great. Through the pandemic there is humor
Great no frills place to hang out. Lots of beers to choose from. Food truck with a pizza oven is a huge plus.
Amazing time and great atmosphere participated in the Susquehanna SPCA charity run that they help to sponsor. Staff were great and the induction summer ale was perfect for a warm day!
Probably one of most favorite breweries in upstate New York, very laid back and non pretentious. I always look forward to going there when we are up in that neck of the woods. FYI their stout is to die for!
I honestly liked everything I tried here. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you stop by.

My husband and I really loved it here. Staff was so nice, good selection of beer, great outdoor area, and corn hole. What more do you need on a warm August day! Definitely would come again.
A breath of fresh air! We are here on a long weekend bucket list visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame and checked out a few of the local spots. Great breakfast place and family owned restaurant for dinner that were excellent. Coming from a restaurant background I can be admittedly critical of the energy level of service. Both of the previously mentioned spots hit the mark but Cooperstown Brewing Company hit a dead on bullseye !! Tyler was friendly, engaging knowledgeable and just a pleasure to encounter. Go for the beers but stay and return for Tyler would be my recommendation!
They used to have a full listing with a ton of reviews I don't know what happened. Great People, Beer, Music & Pizza. Bands all the time. Nice outdoor seating area. There are a few great local breweries and tasting rooms around here and they are all special in one way or another. Definitely don't miss this place if you like beer. The Oat-Bitchuary oatmeal stout is killer. Compliment them on their bambino!
We stopped here for a quick beer, and so glad we did! Great people, & atmosphere. There’s a huge outside area too. Tony and Tyler are AWESOME!! Thanks for making it a great time! The beer is ice cold, and definitely worth the stop. Carrot Cake beer was my favorite! Wish we made it back before we left town. They have a food truck too, TRY THE PICKLE PIZZA! You won’t regret it.
We happened upon this place unexpectedly when it was just opening for the day. We had fun chatting with the server talking about all kinds of things. He was very pleasant without being overbearing. My husband and I tried a couple different beers and then decided and our daughter and son-in-law shared a flight. We enjoyed the entire experience and had the place to ourselves for the first several minutes. When another customer came in she joined in our conversation some too. It was a very low key friendly place. I recommend the Dirt in Your Skirt!
A nice surprise! Great place inside and out, with plenty of room inside including bean bag boards, TVs and more in a stadium like “back room”. Lots of good beer to choose from and friendly service. Was there in a Sunday afternoon with live music outside despite only a dozen or so people there - a real local hangout kind of good feel. Wil go back.

Beer is good and free peanuts were a plus. No other snacks or food which was a downer. Very happy bartender!
Good beer, off the beaten road location, and super friendly staff. Nice spot to visit and grab some unique brews.
Good beer and a nice atmosphere. They have outside games available which is a nice change of pace.
A little rough around the edges in both building and beer.
Small place with decent beer, a neat environment, and friendly staff. I stopped here while visiting the area for the first time to attend a concert. The building doesn't look like much from the exterior, but the inside has a neat setup if a bit small. It sounds like they typically have a food truck stationed outside with a limited selection, but I was a bit early for that (late morning). The beer didn't wow me, but it's very drinkable and I quite enjoyed the Bench Warmer porter on nitro. You can buy single bottles or even mix and match a case if you so choose. It's not a bad stop if you're around.
Very nice looking brewery. I enjoyed the beers we had (all baseball themed of course!). And even their bathroom was interesting (had a lot of different bottles and so I had fun reading all the labels and looking at the pictures).
Nice place to grab a beer. The service is great. Beer types are limited and was disapointed they didn't have a food truck like the website said. There was live music which was good.
Cooperstown Brewing is a little more humble in size than the other breweries nearby but the beers are still great and plentiful (and extremely well priced). You can't go wrong with a flight, but they also host guest taps from other breweries, including their sister brewery Northway, which is outstanding. Did I mention they have cornhole? They have cornhole. Hard to have a bad time when there's cornhole.
Plenty of beers to choose from. The area was nice inside and out. Service was great. Only wish there was the food service around when I went. Plenty of parking.
Enjoyed a beer here while waiting for our Rail Explorers tour. It’s walking distance from the rail Explorer building. Small brewery with outside seating. We were the only ones there.
Large, open setting. Cheap to do a full tasting of all their beers ($8 to try 8). Their beers are okay but not as good as Ommegang in my opinion. Service is warm and friendly.
Plenty of beers to choose from. I enjoyed all the one's I tried. Unfortunately no food

The Pines IPA was good. Their gose was excellently balanced. I found their lager to be easy drinking and crisp. Excellent beer. Downside... The only thing to do there is drink. No food, no games to speak off, beer garden isn't nicer than your backyard.

Good part of the Beer/Wine Trail
Loved this place back around 2005/2006. I know they've gone through some issues and I'm glad they're still around, but somewhere along the line they must have lost the original Nine Man Ale recipe because now it is a completely different color and taste (not good anymore). That's too bad because it was a favorite of mine, but still worth checking this place out when in Cooperstown.
Decent enough brewery but not particularly spectacular. My wife and I stopped by on a whim as we saw a sign pointing out the turn where the brewery is. We went in and tried a flight. Everything was ok, but nothing more. The server was friendly but after serving our flight we didn’t really have much interaction. I wouldn’t say he ignored us, but the staff (there were 3 people working) weren’t particularly engaging. The ambiance is pretty cool with a baseball theme. Makes sense since Cooperstown is home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. They have one back room that has a wall that is painted to look like a scoreboard and outfield wall and another wall painted to look like a bench of a baseball field. There was a food truck on site the day we went (looked like a pizza food truck) but we had just eaten so we didn’t get any food. I don’t think they have their own kitchen. Another thing that’s an oddity is that 2 out of the 4 beers I tried weren’t in the Untappd app. Seems like they were slightly disorganized in that way. We also noticed that online it says they’re only open Friday - Sunday; but when we went in they were advertising being open 7 days a week. Seems like they have some work to do to get things more organized.
Had some solid Beer, but any Brewery that can't/won't serve their Beer in a Glass, and instead uses a plastic cup just isnt a good experience.

Not what we expected
Beer was OK, nothing spectacular. Server was eating at the bar and then stopping in between bites to pour drinks without hand washing. Atmosphere was very relaxed during COVID which was a little unnerving.
Seriously. I found 4 different sets of hours and we get here at 4:45 and they are closed. Nuts.
Clear example of false advertising shown by the Cooperstown Brewing Company. Website AND phone message clearly stated that they would be open on Sundays until 6 PM. My wife and I arrived at the CBC at 4:45 and the place was closed.
