An excellent experience. The service is very pleasant and warm. The service time is the fastest I've had the pleasure of eating at a restaurant, not a fast food restaurant, and even then, fast food restaurants are far behind. Culturally speaking, it's a place steeped in history since the conquest and was part of the corridor taken by Hernán Cortes on his travels to Central America. Its foundations were a building by a French architect, and it underwent significant reconstruction after the eruption of Chichonal, located 40 km away. However, the ashfall affected the entire area. It's important to note that it was an exclusive inn and restaurant, where only the upper class, politicians, and imported generals could pass through and have access to it. The current owner, a very pleasant person, is regularly involved in customer service, the cuisine, and its quality. You can't leave without trying the Ropa Vieja (shredded beef with egg).

Nice place; cozy, and the prices are reasonable. There's no parking, so if you're driving, you'll have to leave your car nearby since it's in the center of Copainalá. It's decorated with old photos, so you can relax and learn a bit about the town through them.

The food was very good, but it took a long time. We ordered a lemonade, and until we reminded them, I don't think they were going to bring it. And I don't know how, but it took them about 20 minutes for two chicken quesadillas and two mixed quesadillas. The service was also a bit disorganized, as they seemed to forget other tables' orders. However, once the food arrived, it was delicious and well presented. Perhaps if they improved the speed of service, the experience would be perfect.
