How cute is this place?!?! I wish we had them in Maryland! Atmosphere was clean and very chill. All of the food was amazing and reasonably priced. Though we went for breakfast, it was cool knowing they had a small bar in there as well. Definitely a spot to hit! And don’t get me started with the signs - all so cute and innovative!
April is literally the best! GIVE HER A BIG BONUS!!! She deserves it for her outstanding customer service!! The food here is phenomenal and a great way to mix things up from your average sandwich or burger! The biscuits are superb!!! They have great adult beverages and a good selection of nonalcoholic options as well! Try the B-Bar Burger!!
I had heard of Biscuit Bar and had always wanted to try it so when I found myself right across the street from one I just had to stop in. DELICIOUS! I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a regular biscuit to go. You can get the egg anyway you want it on the biscuit I chose scrambled since I was eating on the go and wow! The bacon was perfect and the egg was expertly cooked and lots of cheese. The big star was the biscuit. Held together and didn’t fall apart but was somehow still soft, fluffy and butter. So glad I stopped in. Service was very friendly and I highly recommend. I will definitely try to make it back
Went to the biscuit bar at recommendation of a friend when up in Dallas. Been wanting to go for a few years. Glad I didnt order 2. I got the Hoss. Was amazing. Delicious, a bit messy but didn't disappoint. The tots were probably the best I've ever had anywhere. Service was phenomenal.
I can’t justify any of the bad reviews since I haven’t dined inside yet, but mind you- I ordered from here for the first time via uber eats this morning so it was delivered to me while I was at work. And it was delivered on good time as well. It sat for about 15 minutes until I starting eating it. I didn’t even need to reheat it, the temperature was still perfect! So delicious and warm. I ordered the sausage cheese biscuit, the hot honey biscuit, and the holiday style tots. For starters, the biscuit was SO SOFT AND FLUFFY while still having a slight crisp texture around it. Different than most biscuits I’ve tried before, but I’m not complaining because it was really baked beautifully and had great texture + flavor. The scrambled egg- PERFECT. The sausage had really great flavor, I only wish it was cooked a little longer because I like mine more well done. But the size of the sausage and the biscuit were perfect and very filling. The size is bigger and much more filling than other ones I’ve tried before. The chicken with the hot honey biscuit tasted AMAZING!!! Great color, crisp, and delicious flavor. I forgot to order gravy with it so next time I’ll have to try that! And lastly the holiday style tots was beautifully executed, simple but it’s such a creative little idea that reminded me of the holiday sweet potatoes my grandmother made. I never had sweet potato tots before but these were awesome!! The marshmallow and pecans topping really pulled it all together and it tasted wonderful! 10/10 I will definitely order again, one of the best breakfast biscuits I’ve had in a long time. Thank your chefs for me!!! It’s such a traditional breakfast but it was really well done! Very happy with my breakfast today.
I’ve been driving by Biscuit Bar for a while now and finally decided to stop in. I’m so glad I did. The restaurant is immaculate. The decor is super cute gingham and yellow. The food quality, wow, is excellent. Every single item my family ordered was perfect. Between all of us we had mimosas, biscuits, salad, and both regular and sweet potato tots - all we wonderful. But the best part was the staff. Every single person was super kind and welcoming. Why didn’t I try this place sooner!?! Yay Biscuit Bar! Y’all get all the stars!!
Came here on a Sunday afternoon. No line and service was quick. They are super friendly and helpful. The biscuits are delicious and the atmosphere is casual, but classy. I love the decor. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit is one of my favorites. Sausage and gravy is also on point. I also like to just get plain biscuits and put butter and honey on them. Kids menu is a great choice for kids and comes with tots and small drink.
I ordered the Chicken & Not-A-Waffle and man was it indulgent. The chicken is perfectly breaded and just the right amount of salty. The French toast biscuit was structured, but soft. And the syrup was sweet and moist. The whipped cream somehow cut all the flavors to help it not overwhelm you - it brought it all together. A heavy “lunch” for sure, but delicious. Presentation and portion was great. The service was very friendly! Love the atmosphere too.
I've been to the Biscuit Bar in Coppell twice, now. On both occasions, we ate on the patio, which is an excellent space in and of itself, though it does border two busy streets, so the ambience is somewhat lacking. I've now had the El Jefe, the Hot Hot Chicken, and the Breakfast Tots. The biscuits are large and very buttery. The El Jefe was a solid representation of what you'd expect from a cuban-sandwich inspired biscuit. The Hot Hot Chicken was very well fried, but the hot sauce coating the chicken tasted a bit metallic. The breakfast tots were tasty, but the egg was overcooked and the toppings unevenly distributed (a glop of cheese on one side, the bacon in a pile in the center). I had a bite of one child's B-Bar Burger. The portion was enormous. The burger was well-seasoned, but definitely overcooked. It was easily past well-done and dry. My cold brew was good and my iced tea respectable. The kids commented positively on the specialty sodas. Overall, we had positive experiences here. The frustrating thing is that Biscuit Bar seems to get the "big" things right, then slips up in the details (metallic hot sauce, unevenly distributed toppings, overdone burger patties). It feels like there's an even better restaurant here that's not quite ready to come out. Update with pics: This time, we had the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, the chicken-not-a-waffle biscuit, the B-bar burger, and the loaded tots. This time, the eggs were well-cooked, over easy. The chicken and waffles earned a split decision, with one person enjoying it immensely and the other finding the batter odd and too rich. The burger, like last time, was seasoned well but far too well-done. The tots were flat-out delicious this time.
The food and service at The Biscuit Bar were great, but the atmosphere could use a little more character to match the delicious menu. I really loved that I could customize my biscuit just the way I wanted—it was a nice touch that made the meal feel personal. Overall, a tasty experience with room for improvement in ambiance!
I am giving 4 stars because of the mix of the experience. The food was phenomenal but the service was not 5 star worthy. The menu is large and just outside the doors. They do have smaller menus inside if you don’t want to wait outside. Proceed inside and there are 2 registers to order from. The people are very nice. When ordering the tots they will ask you “plain or sweet”. This means do you want regular potatoes or sweet potatoes. It can be a bit confusing if you aren’t ready for the question. The restaurant was not busy this morning. We were there on a Sunday roughly around 930-10am and there were 4 other families there. The food did take quite a while which I was surprised. It arrived hot. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich over medium with holiday tots and my husband ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich over easy and loaded tots. The holiday tots are so worth it. They were delicious. When the young person brought our food they were pleasant but said “I don’t know which one is over hard and which is over easy”. An identifying system may help alleviate this issue of confusion so we can identify the items correctly. They do not have name brand beverages. They are from the brand stubborn soda. We had the nitro cold brew coffees and they were really good. The restaurant was tidy and the restrooms were clean and well kept. We may return to the restaurant at some point as the food really is good. Could use some policies in place to assist with speed and quality of service especially for the price point. We had 2 people and we ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, 2 tater tots sides and 2 coffee drinks and it was $47 before tip.
Good place to eat....was afraid of the price for biscuits but they were pretty good I'll have to say. Very good size biscuits. Good flavor too. No real coke. Not sure about domestic beer but they definitely do not have budwiser. Just what ever they brew I guess. Which kinda sux for me. But give it a shot if ya want good biscuits.
Second time trying out the Biscuit bar today! Some menu item are better than the others. They are very affordable for such a beautiful place. Each item around $7! The craft sodas are delicious. The staffs were friendly, the manager came around and greet every table. The food was prepared perfect and fast. Some of the sandwiches lack sauce or flavor, others are absolutely tasty. I highly recommend this place as a casual meet up or for quick lunch.
I walked in, there was about 12 people total eating. One young lady on register and two in kitchen. There was myself first in line with about 15 others. After 15 minutes of waiting to order the young lady said she was packaging food and will be over soon. The line grew longer after a little over 30 minutes majority of people in line left. My order was taken, Food is fantastic. I had the Hoss and sweet potato tots. Great food! Place is very clean and nice. Just wish the service was better.
This location is right next to chipotle, in the parking lot to trader Joe. The atmosphere is cute and the ambiance is relaxing. The waitress was nice and pleasant as well. The establishment was clean. The food, to me just basic. The loaded tater tots was greasy but had a good flavor. If they stayed open late I could see this being a sober type of place. The sausage and biscuit was plain nothing extra about the biscuit.
5/10 Food was barely warm, with small portions and a lack of flavor. Ordered a hot coffee and was given a styrofoam cup to fill myself from the tower style dispenser. Coffee was not hot, most likely hadn't been changed out since they opened (I worked at a coffee shop for over 2 years, should be made fresh once every hour or 2 at most.) Legitimately had better coffee at gas stations... Would not recommend it for the price. I would much rather go elsewhere. On the bright side, the nitro cold brew was great.
I had high hopes for this place. It was empty other than people who came to get door dash. It has a nice layout, but the menu is located outside the front door. The lady explained to us that the biscuit was gonna be huge. Imagine our surprise when we see a regular size biscuit. I basically got the one with all the meats. The ham was so salty that it over powered the taste of anything else. On my biscuit, it also had a hamburger patty. You couldn't taste it at all & the biscuit just falls apart whenever you try to pick it up. We also had a biscuit with a chicken finger on it & it had a better taste, but it was still lacking flavor. I can see why it could be popular, but it needs some work.
I went to brunch on my day off, and the atmosphere was fun. The food, however, was not what I expected; it lacked flavor. I was quite disappointed. It reminded me of the kind of gravy one might get in a prison camp—it had no flavor or texture. I'm not sure how else to describe it. I don't think the sausage was real sausage; it seemed like a substitute. It was very disappointing. I won't return. I also ordered a mimosa, and I think the alcohol may have expired because it tasted extremely funky. The biscuits were yummy tho! I took photos 📸 The ketchup bottle Was the winner, though, I don't know how long it had been exposed to the heat. But it was quite amazing. I took a couple of photos of the ketchup bottle alone. Lol 😆
I usually do not write negative reviews but after my experience, I need to warn others. We just finished being ignored for 20 minutes after sitting at the bar top. We saw 1 server who walked past us numerous times & ignored us. No greeting, no explanation, nothing. Why have a bar area if you cannot get service at it? We eventually left & she still hadn’t tried to talk to us or greet us on our way out. There were hardly any people in there/ not very busy so no excuses.
