Eddie was our server and he was excellent! Very attentive, polite, and genuinly engaged. Food was typical for Applebees. Margarita was good.
Now. First off I have to give my props to EDDIE, our server! He was highly instrumental in making our meals and memories perfect! We haven't had a "date night" in a long time because of my back disability. FIRST OFF: ALWAYS asking your server what THEY recommend! You will always get the best because they know the menu and can suggest things that suit YOU. I asked about the cocktails and he suggested the Prickly Ever After Rita, which was delicious! I'd never had anything with prickly pear in it, but it has an almost candy flavor that I think many will like! PRO TIP: If you get the Vibe Drop, drink it separately because the bartender has crafted a drink with perfect proportions. To change up a drink alters the balance of flavors. I sipped the drop first, then my drink. PERFECT! We were starving (I *think* I heard my husband's stomach growling) but we didn't want to fill up on appetizers. Eddie suggested the Chicken Wonton Tacos, which, being 4, deliciously hit.the.spot!! The fried wonton shells are crispy, not hard. The chicken has an Asian flavor that is a little spicy, not too much, tho. The slaw top cools it and gives a creamy and crispy texture that goes perfectly! My husband got the 12oz ribeye and I the Bourbon St Sirloin, adding grilled shrimp. The flavors of both were top-notch! I ACCIDENTALLY ordered mine medium WELL, instead of medium RARE! Now you steak-o-philes know that is a big difference. HahahaHAhaHAhaHa! I was afraid my steak was going to be tough and dry from being cooked medium well. BUT!! I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was not! Of course, it isn't the same as medium rare, but if that is someone's preference I believe they would be happy! It was NOT cooked into shoeleather! The chef seems to know the EXACT moment to remove it from the grill! 30 seconds longer and it's "well done." I had the Garlicky Green Beans, which I HIGHLY recommend!! Have any of y'all ever had a garden or gotten green beans at a farmer's market? I am originally from Alabama and helped my grandmother with her garden from planting to hoeing to harvesting. THESE green beans tasted EXACTLY like I had JUST picked them from the vine! They were fresh and crisp and flavor-FULL! I am going to have to search for a "dup" recipe to make them here at home! Yes! Even after ALL of that yummy food, we HAD to get dessert! The Triple Chocolate Meltdown is my favorite, so that is what I got! Once again, hubby asked Eddie for a suggestion. He took Eddie's advice and got the Butter Pecan Blondie, which is totally different to what he has had before. Be careful! It arrives in a hot "skillet!" Once again, Eddie's suggestion was a HIT! Hubby loved the maple sauce, especially! So, from beginning to end every.single.thing was decidedly delicious! I think we ate ourselves into a stupor! HahahaHAhaHAhaHa! I was glad for my walker! ASK for Eddie! AND remember to ask your server for recommendations!
We had a WONDERFUL experience last night! What made it that way was our server, Eddie (Tall, slender longish dark curly hair.) I & my wife asked what would he recommend as far as cocktails and appetizers go. He was SPOT ON! Pro tip: ALWAYS ask your server what they would recommend. They know what is good! The Prickly Ever After Rita is fantastic! If you get the Vibe Drop(Don Julio Reposado) drink it separately so you don't upset the perfect blending of the drink! We were hungry but didn't want to spoil our dinner with a huge appetizer, so Eddie suggested the Chicken Wonton Tacos. PERFECT! A burst of flavors, crispy fried wonton shells, Asian flavors and topped with a dollop of slaw. You get 4, which 2 ea was just enough to keep my growling stomach from chewing up the edge of the table! LOL! I got the 12oz ribeye while my wife got the Bourbon St sirloin. I sat surprised when I heard her say "medium WELL" because she ALWAYS orders medium RARE. You guys KNOW you don't correct your wife in front of someone (ROFL) so I let it go. Shortly before the steaks arrived, though, I asked what made her order medium well. She looked dumbfounded and said, "I DID??" Of course it was too late to change it. She enjoyed it anyway. MY steak had a delicious flavor and was cooked perfectly! We asked Eddie about dessert. I got the blondie and she the triple fudge. DON'T touch the little skillet the blondie is in because it's hot! All told, we had a FANTASTIC meal and memory!
Applebee’s in Copperas Cove is and will forever be my favorite dining establishment! The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff always make you feel like Family! Dave and the rest of the Management are always on the floor and attending to customers or helping the staff. Whether I’m having dinner with the family or sitting at the bar enjoying a wonderful drink and company, I’m never disappointed! Definitely the BEST place to eat in Copperas Cove!
We haven’t visited this Applebees in awhile until recently we decided to give it another shot. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and Janie was extremely helpful and kind. She even took the time to go above and beyond with her customer service.
Sully the bartender was fantastic we stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the chicken roll up and cold.millers. Service was quick and friendly. We will be stopping by again soon!
GREAT SERVICE!! Our server "Sully" was Amazing!! This was our first time out for quite some time and she was so polite ,courteous, attentive and her positive energy just added to our special evening out. There ahould be more servers like her The food and drinks were good and didn't have to wait long. I would definitely recommend this place for a great date night.

“Applebee’s offers a classic casual-dining experience. During my visit, the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I started with the appetizer trio.For my main dish, I chose the Alfredo Broccoli pasta, which the broccoli was very well seasoned to perfection. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the prices felt reasonable for the portion sizes. Overall, Applebee’s is a dependable choice for a casual night out.” I had Janie as my server and she is very helpful as well as a sweet individual. I will be going back!! 😁❤️
Went in recently and really enjoyed the place. Taylor was so friendly and helpful with the menu as well. Don’t even get me started on drink recommendations, an absolutely wonderful variety she had to offer. Definitely going back soon.
First and foremost, I absolutely adore this location. They never disappoint. I recently visited with a group of friends for a birthday celebration, and our bartender, Sully, truly excelled in providing top-notch service. She was incredibly polite, friendly, and, most importantly, she was constantly busy crafting delicious drinks. Despite the bustling atmosphere, she maintained an exceptional level of customer service. Her infectious smile and positive demeanor made our experience even more memorable. We are already planning our next visit solely because of Sully’s exceptional service.
I’ve been a regular at the Applebee’s in Copperas Cove for quite some time, and it continues to be a place I genuinely enjoy coming back to. On my visits, I spend time at the bar and occasionally have the pleasure of being taken care of by Sully. Sully exemplifies what great service should look like behind the bar. She made sure everyone felt comfortable, drinks were made well and promptly, and the overall atmosphere stayed upbeat and friendly. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and that effort shows in the experience she provides to guests. This location remains a reliable spot for good food, good drinks, and even better service. Huge credit to Sully and the rest of the staff for consistently creating a place that feels inviting and well-run. I’ll definitely be back.
Taylor was amazing. Spectacular service all around. The cook Ro was also fantastic, he made my steak and came out and had conversation with my dad and I after. 10/10 will return and recommend.
I had an amazing experience here, the food was amazing and our server Janie was the absolute best! She had amazing service, great attitude, and was always checking on if we needed anything! Our time here was great thanks to her.
Always have good service when there. Sully is the best, she is always friendly and talks with everyone. She makes sure her customers have their drinks and food. Management is always on the floor helping and greeting customers.
My boyfriend and I went here today after Valentine's Day because Valentine's Day was too crowded. The waiter was extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and always on top of our needs. The prices were very reasonable. The food was out very quickly, made perfectly, and tasted great. We got the Date Night Daiquiris, and then I ordered the Tex-Mex shrimp bowl, and he ordered the Parmesan Sirloin Dinner. His steak was cooked to perfection. We had a great date night, and we will definitely go back there again. UPDATE 6-09-22 My boyfriend took me here again just to have a night out together. The waitress was very pleasant. The service, food, and drinks were all perfect. Very good quality, not a long wait at all, and great atmosphere for us to spend time together, relax, and unwind. All of this is for a reasonable price. We were both satisfied and happy upon leaving. Thank you, Applebee's. We will return again soon, I hope. Update April 9, 2023 Went to day for Easter with my twin sister, my daughter, and my nephew. It was great. Good food, drinks, and service. We shared the appetizer combo. The atmosphere was great, and the server was excellent. Update April 23, 2024. We continue to go to this location often and always have wonderful service. The food is always good with a short wait time and the atmosphere always relaxing.

Haven't been in awhile so the menu & specials were totally different. Went on a Monday night got some burger appetizer & beer special which was great. Service was good. Staff was knowledgeable about the blonde beers.
5 🌟 for our server "Eddie". Eddie was very attentive, effective, polite, and provide excellent service. Best service we have had in a long time. The food was good and it did take a little time even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The fries were over seasoned, too salty. The place was small but good vibe. The bucket drink was so sweet and tasted like pure juice, couldn't taste an ounce of alcohol. Overall great place, recommend.

I ordered a very rare 6 ounce steak with sides.. the steak came well done.. after cutting the steak and feeding a couple pieces to my dog instead of forceing it down my throught. Madi, handled the problem so easily and smoothly.. madi also had manners my wife and i felt we should stay for.. we almost left after.... The manager insulted me and told me to get my dog off the bench seat.. he was also far too grown and capable a man to be working at a restaurant.. very sad for him. Good chill vibe and all.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant 2-3 times a month for about 5 months now and other than 1 experience with the hostess sitting us at a table with 4 chairs when we had 3 adults and 2 kids, then walking away leaving us to hunt down a high chair and clean it ourselves, we’ve always had great service. Even that night, once the server realized what happened he attempted to turn the night around for us. Last night wasn’t the type of service we’re used to from this location. The server, Janie started out by taking our drinks but when my son ordered a prickly pear iced tea, she lied and said it was only available in lemonade. My daughter then pointed to it on the menu, the waitress then said we shouldn’t order it because it doesn’t taste right. So she would stop arguing, my son changed his drink. I ordered a unsweetened tea with lemon. When we tried to order drinks for my grandkids, she walked away. After she came back with drinks, (mine had no lemon and not a lot of ice) I told her we wanted an appetizer, she said no you don’t, it’ll take a really long time. I assured her we still wanted the Ult Trio plus we wanted to order the kids meals so she would bring them out 1st. (2 pizzas w/ fries). We were seated around 7pm on a Thursday our check was time stamped 8:55pm. She later took the adult orders: 2 Brb Penne Chk/SG, B-ST Chk/Shrp, WSKY Bacon w/fries and a 3 CHZ Penne. The appetizer came about 10-15 minutes after that but no kids meals. After waiting a while longer I asked about the kids meals because the kids were getting fussy she said she’d check on it. She came back with 2 penne w/ chk and sausage meals for the adults which didn’t have any sausage on either plate. She assured me she’d be right back with the kids pizzas. She came back with the 3 CHZ penne and then my B-St CHK/SHRP which was plain, it’s supposed to be smothered in mushrooms and onions. Still no pizza. Then she came back with the WSKY burger and I had to ask a 3rd time about the kids’ food. She said something about it being more important to bring out the hot food, which umm, isn’t the pizza hot? The answer was no because she left it until last and the fries weren’t even cooked all the way. We complained to her about the food, she took pictures and said she’d talk to her manager. We never heard anything more. My daughter tried to order a takeout order several times but she kept asking her to wait then later after we paid our bill didn’t want to check on it because someone else was supposed to bring it out for us. When everything was said and done, we spent almost $200 on subpar food and had a waitress that was rude and checked out before we even finished our meal. I have to honestly say, we won’t be going back after this experience.
Took 20 minutes to get our drinks and when they did come it was wrong. Ordered a peach tea and Pepsi, when it came, it was a sweet tea and one peach tea. Told waitress the regular tea was supposed to be Pepsi, she said that's what you ordered, no ma'am we ordered one peach tea and one Pepsi, she seemed rather upset. She brought the Pepsi, told her to take back the peach tea because it tasted like soap. She stated oh.. that's not good. Never received another replacement peach tea. Never received our appetizer, main meal came out 40 minutes after ordering..the main food was good. The waitress we had was to worried about going home ( what she kept saying ). Ended up with a different waitress 5 minutes before we received the bill. Been going to this Applebee's for over 15 years in Copperas Cove Texas. This is the 3rd time in less then 3 years that I have been treated like I was not worthy of dining at this establishment. To be honest I have always loved this Applebee's, but after today I am not happy with this Applebee's any longer. Going to find me and the family a different favorite place that is friendly and wants you to be happy that you are in their establishment.

Just left there after sitting 15-20 minutes and not even acknowledged. Several waitresses walked by and did not even ask if we had been helped. They seat another couple as we were getting up and had already got drink orders. This is the second time in the last couple of months. I am done with them. The worst part is that we love their steaks, they melt in your mouth. We asked to speak to the manager and the lady said she was the area manager. She promised there would be retraining.
I have been to this location multiple times and the servers seem to not know what their job is. They never come and check on us. And I just had to go to the host to get my check. I think a birthday is great to celebrate but they could obviously tell we were ready to leave. So we left and gave them more of a tip than I would’ve wanted to but sadly they were more concerned about other guests than the ones who were waiting to leave.
Appetizers were cold, they replaced only one of the ribs then when the main course came out the side dishes were also cold. Nothing worse than cold mashed potatoes. Let me add it wasn't even busy
