Jeanette did well during the rush and moving quickly while customers were being arrogant. The other front staff need to step up their work, move quickly, speak where customer can hear, and work with a purpose. This lady can’t run the place by herself.

The food was delicious as always. Emily F was very helpful and attentive to all the customers in the restaurant. She checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. She cleaned tables and was so very friendly and warm. Her customer service was excellent and greatly appreciated. I will be returning to the deli to dine in more often. Thank you Emily for making my end of a long hard day cheerful.

I go here regularly usually with my boyfriend but we Call our order in and then take it to go. The prices are pretty reasonable as well as the serving sizes. Except for the dessert. There needs to be more of it! (They are reasonable serving sizes, They are just so good that my mouth and stomach are sad when they're gone lol) This last time I went with my twin sister for our birthday lunch. As always the service was fast and friendly and the food was great. And then the best part is the desserts. All of them are mouth-watering awesome goodness. 😁 Until it's gone, Then it's 🙁.

Food at Harker Heights location is put together better but food is good here too. Employee with rainbow belt taking care of dining area was friendly and helpful. Behind the register was just okay but atleast not rude. Ordered croissant sandwich. Bread was slightly over toasted (picture). Several ingredients left off so I had to go back and ask for them. Avacado had dark spots (picture). I love McAlisters flavored lemonade and teas. The Sugar Plum sweet tea is delicious!

2 years ago: Foods always great, wait times very on how busy they are but the food is always worth it! Recently: I've learned it all depends on management and employees for your food. Some of the workers are really awesome and I wish them the best in life. Other times, I had to complain to higher ups about it. McAlister's is very delicious and very well worth it. Today was good. My family got some of different spuds and they were so delicious. ALSO THE HALLOWEEN WITCH'S BREW TASTE LIKE THE GREEN JOLLY RANCHER (still does)

Brought the family here to get a late lunch. They were pretty busy this day, and the line to order was a bit longer than normal. They only have two registers, which slows down ordering, especially during lunch or rush hour. This was my dad and exchange student daughter's first time eating here. She couldn't believe how big the spud was, and my dad said that his portion was just right. He felt the roast beef could have been cooked a little longer for him. My husband had the sweet and smoky chicken. They left the paper to the cheese on, and he bit into it 😬 the manager did have another one made for him. It feels a little cluttered in there, but they have a good menu selection, so we'd go back.

I got the veggie spud. When I sat down with my husband I noticed a hair in my food. I am a germ-a-phobe so as soon as I went to the register the manager took care of me in such a pleasant and professional manner. She gave me a full refund and a remake or something else. She was on point, they made me a salad and it was good. I appreciate them for their quick service and the leaders professionalism.

Running Deep

We like McAlister's and have eaten at multiple locations in multiple states. We tried this location on a Monday around 5 pm. It wasn't busy when we got there and there was only one couple in front of us ordering. Placing our order and getting our food was very slow, and it seemed that they were understaffed. There were several people getting pickup orders, which might have slowed the service down. We weren't in a hurry, so it was fine to wait, but we were disappointed with the food when it finally got delivered. My wife got the Pick 2 with a French Dip Sandwich and a Cup of Chili. The plate looked underwhelming (see photo), but it tasted okay. Didn't the chili use to have cheese sprinkled over it? Maybe a different restaurant, but the manager did end up giving my wife some cheese when we asked about it. I got the Pick 2 with the Spicy BBQ Chicken Crunch Sandwich and a SW Chicken & Avocado Salad. They originally gave me the wrong dressing, and I didn't realize it until after I had put it on my salad. The manager offered to make me a new one, which was great since when I got the remade salad, I realized that the original salad didn't have any chicken on it. You can see that in my photos. The remade salad was great, and I liked the sandwich. Based on other reviews and the responsiveness of the manager, I truly believe that our experience was not typical. We will go back and give them another try.
