Costazul Peruvian Cuisine

This Peruvian restaurant is in the heart of Giralda Street, in Coral Gables. When we looked at it from the outside, we didn’t really expect the pisco sours to be THAT GOOD!!! We love Peruvian food and drinks, BUT here the pisco sours of chicha morada and passion fruit are THE BEST we had tried ever! We also had conchitas, branzino risotto and Costa Azul ceviche. Everything was delicious! And the welcoming smile of our waitress, Arlet, put the familiar and warm touch we all crave for.

Went here for family dinner. Server Piero was lovely. Recommended Corbina Gratinada, which was excellent! Lomo Salgado also great. Happy hour helped us to some really nice ceviche. Highly recommended!

Enrique, Piero, Leandro and the owner were amazing. I made it for happy hour and the pisco sour, Chicano morada, pollo saltado, choros and ceviche were amazing !!! I will be bringing my entire family here this weeeknd 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The churrasco a lo pobre was absolutely outstanding! I ordered my steak medium rare, and it was served incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Paired with top notch service, the entire experience was exceptional. Highly recommend this Peruvian Restaurant!

The best place for dinner and lunch!! Service here was excellent, and our server Enrique Iglesias was incredible. Super friendly and fun. I was recommended el pulpo a la parrilla and ceviche mixto and I had no problem licking the plate clean. I can’t recommend this place enough. Beautiful patio setting and atmosphere. Definitely will be back again when I visit Miami.

The atmosphere and food combo here was fantastic. Just what we needed for a nice evening meal after a long day! Highly recommend the croquets, so crispy and delicious. Service was friendly and super helpful explaining the menu to use since we had never been here.

We stumbled on this place looking for dinner near Hotel St Michel. It’s located on a super cute street with lots of restaurant options with patio dining, we are so glad we chose Costazul! Piero took great care of us, he was super attentive and made great recommendations. Everything we had was incredible, I would come back again and again for the empanada de aji de gallina, chicken tostones and ceviche. Bring friends so you can try more dishes, or plan multiple date nights to work your way through the menu. Such a gem!

We were in town for a day and happened to come across this restaurant by chance. After dining here, the 4.9 stars absolutely make sense! We ordered a Ceviche Costazul and the Grilled Octopus. Both of them were delicious! I’m not a fan of octopus in general, but I can feast on this dish everyday - it was THAT good. The spice balance was perfect! The Ceviche was equally good, although they can tone down a little bit on the turmeric(?). Food was fresh, portion sizes were big and service was equally warm and hospitable. Highly recommend this place to locals and visitors alike!

Did not disappoint. Authentic Peruvian food. Brunch has 3 courses and a passion fruit mimosa. How do you say not to that? OMG !!! COSTAZUL Miami everything was amazing! The Arroz con Pollo and Frozen Limonada were delicious, and the desserts truly surprised me the Passion Fruit Crème Brûlée and Lúcuma Cheesecake were outstanding! We were a group of seven and everyone loved their meals. As a Peruvian, I can say the flavors are authentic and perfect. Highly recommended!

I’m amazed, I am peruvian and this restaurant is one of the best. I critique every peruvian restaurant on their chicha, which WOW so good had to order two. Authentic and natural. and the food!!! me and my girl ordered a lomo she got a traditional and i got the tacutacu which both were 1000/10. I’m deff coming back. it’s in my top 5 peruvian restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic Peruvian food! Every dish was packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The ceviche was bright and perfectly balanced, and the lomo saltado was tender, savory, and cooked just right. Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. You can really tell this place takes pride in authentic Peruvian cuisine. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

The food itself was flavorful and well prepared classic Peruvian taste. However, the service was a bit slow, likely due to it being a busy evening and the staff appearing short-handed. The paella had great flavor but the rice was a bit undercooked, and my lomo saltado was served well-done even though I asked for medium. To their credit, the team handled the situation graciously, removing the paella from the bill on top of the 15% discount they were already offering. Everyone was very courteous and attentive once we voiced our concerns. While the hospitality was excellent, the service fell a bit short overall. Still, with such warm staff and good flavors, I’d be willing to try it again, especially on a less busy night.

We arrived here by mistake as we were looking for the other two Peruvian restaurants that closed the neighborhood. The food here is very good and abundant Unfortunately, the weather we got and his back up have a problem with memory They brought one appetizer then some photographer was taking picture of my wife’s plate, which I could see at the bar which then they brought to the table and 10 minutes later they brought my plate after they took pictures of it at the bar as well All this was happening while I was watching They also forgot the plantain of my wife’s plate so they brought it later and they charged me three dollars for it We ask for a 2nd cup of corn they never bought it We ask for water and they brought one glass for both of us Finally, we asked for a box to take some leftover and they brought it without the bag which we had to ask for twice I asked one of the bus boys who is the manager and obviously the manager is not here. That’s why Service goes to hell. Highly recommended for the manager to be here, especially on weekends because the waiters have absolutely no idea what they’re doing This is our 30 years anniversary and although the food was pretty good, the service is one star out of 10
