Lungo il sentiero tra Vernazza e Corniglia, a metà strada dopo la lunga salita, una sosta è praticamente obbligatoria al Bar il Gabbiano. Una granita favolosa fatta con veri limoni e una spremuta fresca di agrumi, combinati con la terrazza panoramica, danno subito la carica per l'altro pezzo di cammino!!! Il bar è piccolino e informale, i gestori gentili e attenti al gusto dei propri clienti! Consigliato!!

Una tappa obbligata... sia perchè sul percorso del sentiero pedonale Vernazza Corniglia non ci sono ristori, fontanelle comprese, sia perchè la spremuta Arancio e limone è tanto fresca quanto gustosa. Consigliato.

Bellissimo posto sul sentiero che unisce Vernazza a Corniglia. La terrazza con vista stupenda su Corniglia merita una sosta per riprendere fiato; molto buone le granite

We loved stopping here on our hike from Vernazza to Corniglia. It was a 30 minute walk from Vernazza. It is a perfect halfway point and the view was incredible! The cappuccinos were great along with the lemon cake. It's worth the walk up to this place. I recommend going in the morning before it gets busy. We arrived at 8:30am and had the whole place to ourselves.

Great place to have a break half way through the trail, the terrace has wonderful views of the ocean and surrounding cliffs. The lemon granita and the lemon and orange granita were both delicious. The drinks are a little pricey given their small size but I guess that’s that cost of the incredible location.

Amazing views and the drinks! The fresh juice (lemon and orange mix) is amazing as well as their Aperol Paradise cocktail! So refreshing and delicious! To savour best with the views like these inside!

What an incredibly marvelous place! Midway through our hike from Corniglia to Vernazza, my wife and I had a lemon slushie, a lemon/orange juice and fresh fruit. Drinks were made from fresh-squeezed fruit. These were so incredibly tasty!!! They truly hit the spot on a hot day after an uphill climb. Also a must have is the watermelon pieces with mint and lemon juice. The view? Well - the photos will show it's completely breathtaking!

Beautiful spot on the cinque terre trail to stop for cold water, drinks, and a local beer. The beer is ice cold and the views are amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop by to relax!

If you’re hiking between the C5 towns and are heading to Vernazza from the east, this is the BEST place to stop for a refreshment. Because of the location, the only way to access is on foot, including for those bringing produce in and out, which we thought was amazing. The views are exquisite, and the lemon/orange slush granita is delicious. They have several options including alcohol additions which would be very fun near the end of the hike!

A wonderful little place. Not just a pizza joint and bar, their menu includes sandwiches and finger foods, smoothies and more. We had a little of everything and each was terrific. The lemon cake was fabulous. The cheeses and meats were as fresh as the bread. It’s an awesome place for those on the Blue Trail to relish in a much deserved respite before continuing their hike.

After spent a few days at Monterosso in an ocean front house with 3 outdoor areas, the view of this bar still takes my breath away. This bar is 208 meters above sea level and halfway between Corniglia and Vernazza, it takes about 45 mins walk from Corniglia, trust me it definitely worth it. Take a rest there, enjoy the panoramic view that attracted millions of visitors each year, drink a glass of Lemoncello Spritz, eat their fantastic Lemon cake, enjoy the La Dolce Vita!

This bar or how you wanna call it is a lifesaver. It's exactly in the middle of the hiking trail between Vernazza and Corniglia on the highest point of the path. Therefore it's basically at the perfect location for everyone coming through. We stopped there and had some nice drinks. I had the "Fabian Special" which is a lemon slushy with vodka. This wouldn't be my kind of drink normally but they press their lemons and oranges fresh and make the lemonade themselves which made it exceptionally good. You should take a break here when your hiking this trail.

An absolute GEM! 💎 A great pitstop for hikers, serving slushies, smoothies, aperitif and food. Sit on the terrace to get the best views of the coast. We hiked from Corniglia to Vernazza, and this place is about 1/2 way between them both. This is one of the rare places where you see only hikers and no joe-public - thus pretty quiet! Order the Orange and local Lemon slushie (available with or without alcohol) for a refreshing treat.

If you are coming to Cinque Terre and plan to hike at all, you should choose the blue trail path between Corniglia and Vernazza just so you can experience Bar Il Gabbiano! It is located at the highest point on the blue trail with SPECTACULAR views! And, it is unreal what Eugenio and his team do each day to deliver fresh drinks and food to all the visitors. They carry in cases and cases of fresh fruit everyday so that they can make the most delicious smoothies and frozen drinks (I highly recommend the Fabian special, which is a lemon slushie with vodka!). And, most importantly, get a picture out of one of the two windows looking down at the water toward Corniglia....just stunning.

I am a fan of cinque terre. My first trip was off season and when walking from Corniglia to Vernazza we walked by this spot that caught our attention. Second time, when walking from Vernazza to Croniglia (My favourite sense of the path) it was open and gave us a much needed fresh orange juice!! The view of the bar and terrace is breath taking and the staff super friendly. This place is now the surprise I give to my visitiors and my motivation to keep walking when sendero azzuro gets tought !!! A must stop if you’re hiking the Cinque Terre! Have you ever been halfway through a hike and thought- I wish I could stop and have a drink before we keep going and just enjoy these views?! Enter this gem. If you’re hiking from Corniglia to Vernazza then you will pas right by here at your half way point. And you must stop. The frozen lemonade (with or without vodka might I add!) is an absolute delight and so incredibly fresh. We enjoyed that with some fresh pastries, but the view was the show stopper here.

Partendo da Corniglia, poco prima di arrivare a Vernazza, lungo il sentiero SVA (Sentiero Verde Azzurro), troverai questo bar. Offre (anche) spremute di limone o arancia da gustare seduti in terrazzamenti dotati di sedie e tavoli. La bellezza del luogo (e la fatica fatta) la farà sembrare una spremuta impareggiabile.

Ottima l'idea delle delle spremute e della terrazza, forse un po' caro :)

Una delle poche tappe del Sentiero Azzurro, se non l'unica. Bar molto carino con vista sulla città di Corniglia. Ovviamente, essendo l'unico bar, si fanno strapagare: frullato di anguria con acqua 7 euro. Non ho altro da aggiungere.

This place deletes comments under their social media if you give advices to tourists on how to avoid getting scammed or just how to find the best places on your holidays, this doesn't prove anything, but Is still something that to me feels very unfair and malicious. They clearly gain from tourists not making informed decisions. Per onestà intellettuale va detto che questa attività elimina i commenti e blocca i profili su Instagram anche solo se osano fare delle osservazioni riguardo al fatto che in Liguria esistono località iper-inflazionate. Cercano attivamente di bloccare al meglio delle loro possibilità il turista dal poter compiere scelte informate e razionali. Google removed my overly honest review written over 2 years ago. So here it goes again in less colorful language: Booked a boat tour and dinner. Bar II Gabbiano stated since I booked the tour last minute (less than 24 hrs) my family wasn't entitled to a pasta dinner. This was unacceptable to us since the dinner was included in the overall price. The owners ( Father and Son) was very rude and unreasonable and denied us even take away. Very dishonest.
