Pier 99 had a great atmosphere and the food was perfect with flavor and variety. The staff was always checking on me and made sure everything came out as expected especially the bartender Eric. I don’t get out to this are very often but I wish I did just to come back here again. Highly recommend.

We went here on Thursday night and it was so amazing that we decided to go back on Friday night and the food the atmosphere and the two servers we had $Bill and faith were absolutely amazing. A friend and I decided to come to lunch today and it an Awesome idea! Faith was our server and we enjoyed her and our lunch. I got the special and my friend got the shrimp salad. It was a windy day but they had the wind breaks down so we got the breeze minus the gusts. Such a fantastic day today. We loved it! So glad we came in today. Lunch was so tasty and flavorful. Will definitely come again.

This is our third visit. EVERYTIME we get excellent service, the food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere and the view of the Lexington and the surrounding area including North Beach is super amazing. It has become our favorite afternoon date spot. They are also so nice to our sweet Little Boy, they brought him a super cute "pup cup" with lots of little tiny doggie bones in it and a nice dish of cold water. We had Taylor as our server and she treated us right. After finishing dinner the manager came over and offered us a coupon for a free puppy meal the next time we come back. We will absolutely be doing that very soon. Aside from good food the most important thing you can offer your guests is excellent customer service and that's exactly what you get here.

I had been looking for fried whole fish (red snapper)everywhere and I found this place on the internet. I read that someone did not like it being too crispy down inside so it gets dry. I mentioned to the server to make it crispy outside and juicy inside. They did it as requested. I just wish they rub a little salt on it before frying to taste. My husband ordered a blackened red snapper (fillet) and it came juicy and with great taste too. The margarita was fair, cannot be compared to margaritas I always order in Mexican restaurants. Our server was nice and friendly. Quick to bring our orders, i forgot his name. Other servers are friendly to all customers. Overall, I recommend the place. I give it 5 🌟.

Amazing service from $Bill! The food was exceptional, And I cant say enough about the view! He suggested the daily catch, which was triple tail which was cooked Perfect! Bonus, you get dinner and a show watching the boats go in and out. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town!

Had a delicious salad and oysters! The atmosphere and service was excellent! Most of all, our sever Bella deserves 100 stars. She was very attentive and answered all our questions regarding my food allergies and made great recommendations. We will absolutely be returning. Pina colada was also delicious!

Faith was my server at Pier 99 and she made the whole experience wonderful! She was incredibly friendly, patient, and had such an outgoing personality. I came in with my two dogs after finding Pier 99 on the BringFido website, and she made us feel so welcome. Faith recommended the snapper with onion rings, rice pilaf, and broccoli, it was amazing! I finished it off with the turtle cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious. This was such a great experience for both me and my pups, and Faith played a huge part in that. Highly recommend asking for her!

"$Bill" was the most phenomenal server! We are back in Corpus Christi after 26 yrs! Lived in NYC for 14 yrs and Houston for 12! Corpus Christi has the best restaurants- Pier 99 was great back then and today... proved they have the best grilled shrimp tacos we've ever had! Snow crab was perfect! Our new favorite place! Thanks $Bill for the turtle stories! 🥰

Pier 99 is the first place I recommend to people looking for seafood. They’re wanting “fresh catch,” you’ll get the option here. We went with the Snapper with Crawfish Cream Sauce as our server, Javier, coached us on what the most-requested dishes were. You’d also come here just for the views. The ocean waves to you right next to the back porch, and there you can see a stage for live music days. We’ll be back again and again. Their Turtle Cheesecake is a sweet treat, too.

Our waitress Denise was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu and made some excellent recommendations 😁. We left very full and very happy 😁! I had the Oscar Halibut and my hubby had the fish and chips, and added on shrimp. I will definitely go back and can't wait to try something else.

Our waitress Faith C was great, very attentive and sweet. I had the seafood boil that was delicious, crab legs with shrimp, corn and potatoes. Had a spice rub on it with a kick. Unfortunately I'm rating this a 4 for the gumbo, because that's what we went there for. My husband ordered it and it wasn't great. Came out luke warm and when we sent it back to warm it up they brought out a new luke warm gumbo. There was little meat in it, mostly it was rice and sauce. It was a cold blustery day to enjoy the view, but on a nice warm day it has a great patio view of the bay and USS Lexington.

Nice little hang out spot. I had the mussels, they were fine. Definitely had better. The fried fish and shrimp platter was really good. The coleslaw was more than just a “throw away” like at most places. The tartar sauce was very good too. Service was adequate, but it was a slow time. I would go back for sure. Oh, there were a couple of resident cats for a bit of fun.

Pier 99 – Father’s Day Visit We chose Pier 99 to celebrate Father’s Day and made a reservation in advance, anticipating the holiday crowd. Despite that, we still ended up waiting around 15–20 minutes to be seated. Understandable for a busy day, though a bit disappointing given the reservation. Once seated, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Here’s a quick rundown of what we tried: • Chips & Salsa: The salsa tasted like your standard store-bought jar—something you’d find on the shelf at HEB. Not bad, just not special. • Calamari: Surprisingly good. Crispy batter, not overly greasy, and the squid wasn’t rubbery or gummy—a win. • Grilled Fish with Asparagus: The dish was plated nicely and the fish was well-cooked, though not especially memorable in terms of flavor. The asparagus added a fresh touch. • Seafood Cajun Bowl: It was okay. Nothing stood out, but it did the job. • Steak: Juicy and cooked well, but leaned heavily on the salty side—something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to seasoning. Overall, the meal matched the casual, beachside atmosphere—reliable comfort food, but nothing that pushed the envelope. Great for a laid-back family outing, though if you’re looking for standout flavors or elevated seafood, you might leave wanting a bit more.

On an outing with my beautiful wife, we had dinner at pier 99. The highlight of our dinning experience was the service. Our waitress was amazing. The food however, was another story. I ordered the 12oz steak and a side of shrimp 🍤 and this is where the pleasantries end. The shrimp were tiny and looked anorexic. And I hardly ever use steak sauce unless the steak is flavorless.....I used plenty of A-1 and the icing on the cake, the broccoli was barely luke warm and hard. Perhaps undercooked. My wife ordered a tipsy turtle which is a house specialty and it was weak and flavorless. So our waitress took control of the situation and brought her a different drink and apologized. Apparently the bartender was new and....well we'll leave it at that. The live music was really good but overall the food was terrible. If you're going to charge a lot for your food at least take pride in preparing it an make it look somewhat like it looks on the menu. I love giving great reviews when they're warranted but unfortunately the verdict in this case is two thumbs down 👎 👎 again the bright spot in it all was the service.
