I have tried about 4 or 5 of their different chicken curries and oh my gosh they are out of this world! Creamy and so delicious with the different spices and flavors! I ask for extra spicy and it really packs a punch but is so good! Update 2 years later, this place is still amazing, more options now than when they first opened and just so much flavor in every bite. Definitely check out this hidden gem Corsicana has before they get smart and leave us! 😅
I met a friend for lunch and we chose this place because it was a midway point for us. The food is so delicious I will be going back even though it's an hour away. That's how good it is! I had the chicken curry and she got a pizza. We both loved our food. The staff is so friendly it made the experience even better. Who knew Corsicana was hiding such a great secret.
The food is great! The service is good, and the soaps on the TV add to the atmosphere. They have many options that aren't all Indian, in case you have a picky eater in your group. The only thing I wish was different is that they had naan when I went. They never have naan when I go in to grab some food to take home; I don't know if it's a time-of-day thing. I usually go after 7 p.m. Still, great food, just wish I could wrap some of it to eat in the car, or some naan as a snack on my drive. Still, if you like Indian food and in corsicana, don't miss this spot. Make sure to get a lassi too.
Food's amazing food is awesome. Steve is a great cook Service, yes, he makes it from fresh so you're going to wait but it's damn well worth the wait. Maybe we had to wait 20 minutes for fresh food but I'll wait for it. I don't know. Maybe it's 15 minutes but still damn good food. We took it home and ate it at the house Atmosphere it's a hole in the wall place which I'm not knocking it. It's just one of the places where a hole in a wall place to eat at. It's great food. It's one of the places you got to go search for to understand what I'm saying. So no matter what the atmosphere is like little hole in the wall Cafe, restaurant. Whatever you want to call themselves it's worth it to go there. It kicks ass. I've eaten there before and it's small quaint and cozy but it is what it is. The food oversees everything and a service of Steve is excellent
What a find! Absolutely delicious and fresh! Would definitely eat here again! Very flavorful!
Food Belly Indian Cuisine is a true gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that stand out. Every dish I tried was perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. Whether you're craving classic curries or something new, this place has it all. If you love Indian food, you definitely need to check out Food Belly, it's a must-visit!
Great food! If you have not been here you are totally missing out!
The food is amazing but the pizza. Let me tell ya. Bomb! This is a must to buy.
Don’t miss out on this delicious spot! Stopped in today on a whim and so glad we did. Butter chicken, spicy lamb curry, garlic naan, veggie samosa and mango lassi were literally perfect! Lovely family cooking from the heart. Can eat in (as we did) or take away. Reasonable prices, quick service, clean and tasty.
A very very delicious experience. Quite possibly the best Indian food I’ve ever had. My friend and I ate there yesterday and I had the tiki masala chicken with a samosa and we shared the chili cheese naan. Before we left, I got butter chicken and another 2 samosas to take home to my wife because I didn’t want her to miss out on how good it was. She was very happy with it! Definitely worth the drive!
This restaurant was truly exceptional. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The spices were robust, exactly what you’d expect from an Indian restaurant. The only downside was the small size of the space and the heat inside, which was understandable given the tandoor’s operation. My husband sampled the chicken wings. While I’m not usually a fan of bone-in wings, these were the best I’ve ever had—easily the top wings in Corsicana. (We had the special Asian fusion wings!) I wish the restaurant had a larger building with more space and a bigger kitchen. This place deserves more recognition. Corsicana has long needed such variety, and this spot is perfect.
What a find! So happy to have found an Indian place within 15 minutes of our house! The pizza is PHENOMENAL!! For real! We just got the basic cheese pizza for my 2year old and he absolutely tore it up plus my husband’s Chicken Tikka! 😋 It wasn’t until about 6 bites in the heat finally registered with him and he started panting and gulping his water down. Heehee The chef was so personable and kind. He even let us do some taste testing of sauces for him and talked us through his cooking and flavor process. He also told us if you want their breads, to come for it after 2:00. Just a heads up! 😉 I love how clean and neat the inside front is! As long as you don’t have a large group coming with you, then there are 3 individual tables, each with 2 chairs you can sit at, and a wall bar if you just wanted to stand and eat, too. If not, then definitely order to go about 25-30 minutes before you want it.
While it may be the only Indian restaurant in this small community I have tried many others and from my experience I must say that this is some of if not the most authentic Indian cuisine you can find in a 1000+ mile radius. The food is carefully prepared and a consistent quality is maintained no matter how often you order. The owners are kind and happy to share with you the food that is so prominent in their culture. It's a lovely experience each and every single time you get to enjoy their food.
Amazing food ! Amazing customer service! I got to try their food last week and have been craving it everyday since. So I made me a stop by there and picked me up some more chicken Tikka masala ,buttery chicken and some garlic naan (bread) last week I had the kurry chicken and the chicken Tikka masala . The flavors are outstanding ! Made to order ! Served with a bed of rice , a must have is really any of their breads to scoop up every last drop ! Garlic naan is one of my favorites to go with my top pick chicken Tikka masala. If you are new to these amazing dishes. - Chicken Tikka masala has small bit of a bite that is that slow simmer type of heat but jammed packed with so many flavors . - chicken kurry , is also a slow simmer type of heat you can taste the kurry and love in every bite ! -buttery chicken - is for the ones that like to take it down a notch that don't want spicy or likes the homestyle type of food . I've paired all of these with their garlic naan ,and or the onion kulcha . -Garlic naan - is a soft freshly baked/cooked flat bread with fresh minced garlic cooked right on top of it , lightly buttered to perfection! -Onion kulcha is made the same way like garlic naan but with caramelized bits of onion instead of garlic. I look forward to trying more if not all of their dishes HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY THEIR FOOD TODAY ! Food belly,Thank you for the great food experience I can't wait for more of your delicious dishes ! Absolutely amazing!
Wow! So flavorful!!! I'd never eaten Indian food before, and now I know what I was missing. Great food!!! Great service!!! And in reading the other reviews, one said "the best Indian food in a 1000 mile radius." That speaks volumes!!! Small establishment so my son and I usually pick up. But we did eat in once, and it was most delightful. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!
This was our 1st time here. We read the reviews and couldn't believe how over-the-top positive they were so we wanted to try it for ourselves. We ordered the chicken curry and a large pizza to go as the restaurant isn't really set up for dine in. After returning home and trying a bite of the chicken curry my wife and I both agreed it was delicious but almost need a fire extinguisher to cool our mouths off. Next time we'll try to have Steve tone it down abit. We quickly moved over to the pizza as we couldn't eat much of the curry. It was amazing. I could have eaten the crust with no toppings at all. Best pizza I remember ever having. It's kinda funny actually. I had to go to an Indian restaurant to get a good pizza. So don't think about it. Just go here. It's amazing.
I’m compelled to leave this here, this is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is delicious and the customer service is excellent! Although I don’t visit much… When I do… it’s always the best! Thank you Food Belly! Edit: Unfortunately, due to unavoidable food allergies I have developed, I can no longer eat here. But, this food remains in my heart 😊 when I’m sad, I still think about this food and it makes me happy, even if I can no longer visit. Thank you for all of your tasty meals and wonderful customer service 10/10 Maybe I’ll be gifted fortune that I can return here again ❤️
Best takeout food in the area. We absolutely love this place! Our favorites are the butter paneer, chicken biryani and fish pakora. I usually order pickle to go with my food and mango Lassi. His chai is pretty good, authentic and heavy on the ginger, not the sickly sweet starbucks crap.
First time here and will DEFINITELY be back!!! We had the chicken curry and butter chicken with the garlic naan. Everything was SO DELICIOUS and authentic. Great variety on menu- can’t wait to try other dishes. Read other reviews that recommended calling ahead since it truly is a one man show in there. Our food was ready and warm when we got there. Looking forward to out next visit.
If you've ever had the pleasure of eating home made Indian food you know how special it is. This place will satisfy that part of you that sometimes daydreams you were born with an Indian mom who cooked for you. Eat here, its every bit as good as you hope it will be.
While driving near Corsica, I searched for Vegan food near me and up popped Food Belly. The place looks dated. I explained I was vegan and the owner said there were a few dishes he could do Vegan. I ordered Dal Makhni (lentils) and Chana Masala ( chickpeas). I'm so happy I ate here. The food was delicious with the right mix of spice and heat.
Stopped by on our way to Houston because of the Food Network. We got wings, a samosa, lassis, chicken tikka masala, fries and naan. It did take 30 minutes to get the entire order but it was worth every minute of the wait.
Let me start by saying everything I’ve had was delicious. When I first tried their food, I didn’t know what to expect. I was worried it would be dry, but I assure you it’s not. So far I’ve had all of the following: -chicken tiki masala -butter chicken -chicken curry -the pizza sub(not on current menu) -naan -chili cheese naan -the naan with ground beef, cheese, and spices(not on current menu) -mango chutney -samosa’s The naan is delicious. It’s like a cross between white bread and a tortilla 8.5/10. The sub needed a bit more meat and sauce but still freaking delicious(also not on the current menu), a solid 7.5/10. The chicken dishes though… 10/10. Every single one of them were delicious. The quality of them never waivers. They are consistent!!! If you want it spicy though be sure to say that, they aren’t spicy otherwise. I always forget to take pictures of my food. I’ll try to remember next time. Updated menus as of 7/20/25
Well I've seen this place for a year now so it was still open so I had to try it out. I called a friend got some pointers on what Indian food was, what to expect and some suggests on what to order. So I stop by for lunch yesterday placed the oder and walked out with $43.90 worth of food. Man that was AWESOME. We loved it all but we both agree the Indian pizza stole our taste buds. It's a once a month if not trice a month food stop.
Best Indian food around. Steve is the man. I have never been dissatisfied or disappointed once and I’ve ordered lots of different things. Some of which I had no idea what they were. One thing is the same though. The food is just delicious.
This is a hidden gem in Corsicana and we are so lucky to have them here! The food is cooked fresh and it’s so good. I’m a fan of the vegetable tikka masala. Oh and that garlic naan bread! My son usually gets pizzas or wings from there. Everything is amazing.
When we searched for Indian restaurant in Corsicana, that was the only restaurant we got. Went there half an hour before closing. So wasn’t any people there and dine in was not available. But the owner was so nice and offered us to prepare food for to go. We only had vegetable samosa. It tasted great and comes with tamarind and cilantro sauce. The owner ensured that the beef and lamb are halal but not the chicken.
Passed through Corsicana and didn't expect to have delicious Indian food out here! We got the beef biryani, chicken korma, chicken vindaloo, onion kulcha, and a mango lassi. All were fantastic!! It takes a while for the food to come out since it's made to order, so call ahead if you want to skip the wait. The service was very friendly and I'd definitely come back again when I'm in town!
This place was so good I forgot to take a picture before I started eating! Amazing food and the service was great. My new favorite place UPDATE: This place is still the best place I have eaten... ever. The Chicken Korma is exceptional

10/10; highly recommend! You absolutely have to try this place. The food was incredible, the prices were reasonable, & the service was really good. The owners were very nice. My husband and I will definitely be going back.

Consistently delicious and freshly made everytime. One of Corsicana's best restaurants. Better than some of the Indian food I've had in DFW.
Hole-in-the-wall type place we found driving through town, absolutely incredible Indian food, extensive menu options and everything was cooked so fresh to order. My husband who has never had Indian food was a big fan as well! They have an authentic clay oven and made the naan fresh!
The flavor and quality is better than larger Indian restaurants I've been to. Best chicken tikka masala I've ever tasted.
I will first say this, the high reviews are absolutely correct with my experience as a first time customer. The food was outstanding. It tasted fresh and was very delicious. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and some garlic naan. I wanted the vindaloo extra spicy and they made it as I asked. The place is small and it's an old building, but don't let that fool you. I will definitely be coming back soon to try their pizzas that people are saying are worth it. I don't know any other Indian restaurants in Corsocana, but this place would hold up in a big city like Dallas. To the owners: thank you for making delicious Indian food for Corsicana.
Absolutely amazing! I have been searching for a true authentic Indian restaurant and I’m so happy to say I finally found it. The workers were nice and the food was delicious. I got the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and a mango lassi, highly recommend. I’m originally from Ennis so it’s definitely worth the drive to come eat here!
Delicious Indian food. I had the Karahi Chicken and it was full of flavor. The chicken was so tender and the rice was perfectly balanced with herbs.
This is the place where I fell in love with Indian food. It is sooooo good. Try the korma if you don't know what to try. Amazing!!! We now eat here every chance we get!

Nice little place for Indian food 3 minutes from Corsicana historic downtown. We went there in a weekend evening and they were closing early that day so didn’t offer dine-in. So we just got some veggie samosa for to-go and it tasted quite good. The Samosas came with two types of chatni which made it even tastier. May be next time we will try other dishes if we happen to be at Corsicana. This place has a restroom and sufficient parking spots.

The food was just about ok. The chicken tikka was very dry and awfully red. 🤔 for beef seekh kabab he had beef franks (literally) no kidding. Beef franks marinated in some kinda indian sauce. The naan was ok. The cholay were good. However, the place was crowded with locals who apparently don't know the difference between authentic Indian cuisine and what they were getting. Locals love this place. Ok imagine this, the place had no trash can rid left overs. The owner told me to walk over the Gass station next door.lol On a scale of 1 to 10 the place was maybe a 3 for cleanliness.
Been going here since they opened, and have loved having a place like this nearby. Unfortunately it seems like there has been a change in cooks, and it has not been for the better. I typically get Tikka Masala or Fish Pakora with Garlic Naan and a Samosa. Samosa's haven't really changed and are still great. The naan has been hit or miss the last couple times. The entrees are where it has really gone downhill. The last time I got fish pakora a few weeks ago was a completely different recipe than previously and was not fully cooked and was somehow goopy. Actually made me sick. The tikka masala used to be really creamy, and had several chunks of chicken in it. The order I got last night was like 60% oil, and had like 4-5 pieces of chicken. Hopefully they are able to turn things around, because this was one of the best places in town. I'll give them one more shot, and hopefully it's not my last, but it could be.
It look like a hole in the wall. When my friend and I went in they did not have any naan bread or anything that was made with bread. Which was a big disappointment. We ordered Butter Chicken & Chicken Tikka Masala. We sat down (there are only 3 tables to the restaurant)and it took 15 to 20 minutes to get our food and it was served to us in to go containers. I came here because The Daytripper said it was really good. I was not impressed.

Ordered 2 butter chickens the guy put 9 pieces of chicken and they still have the audacity to charge so much?!?!? Paid close $50 for that and some naan!!! Ridiculous pricing if you’re going to be STINGY!!!
The menu shows the meal to look like the picture with the flavored red chicken. Not sure what I got but I will never come here again. Pictures tell all. This is the chicken noodle spicy.
