Right there on the frontage road was Boudin, so I whipped it on in to check it out.. I wasn't much for a clam chowder in a bread bowl, so opted for a quick sandwich, and only because those Hansen twins were in there eating salads talking about the good old days at Salvador Elementary school...boy that brought back memories! And, when I left alI I could think about were the 2 sandos I had...they were Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆

As a german I have to say that they have very good bread! I really enjoyed the ceasar salad as well ⭐️

We had a wonderful experience at Boudin, thanks to Ivin’s exceptional service! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our visit feel truly special. What stood out the most was how he took the time to educate us on how their famous sourdough bread is made. His explanations were engaging, informative, and added a fun, personal touch to our meal. Thank you for the yummy sourdough bread!!

Ordered two sandwiches and a kids Mac and cheese. Staff was friendly but the food was a little bit slow to come out. Sandwiches were good, bread seemed pretty fresh.

I got half spring chicken salad and half turkey avocado sandwich. The salad was good but the turkey sandwich was pretty plain. My fiancé got half the French dip sandwich and half chili since they were out of all the other soups. The French dip sandwich was literally just some slices of meat in between a baguette but the chili was pretty good. The service fast and efficient!

Take a break from greasy fast food and get your money’s worth by dining at Boudin’s. They have a great selection of delicious food for whatever you’re in the mood for.

Good prices, decent sandwich/simple foods. Good atmosphere for a casual place to eat or hang out. Friendly staff. Sometimes they are out of stuff or the oven is broken so you can't get hot food or things like that, but there are usually plenty of alternative options. Busy around lunch time but not packed late afternoons/evenings.

We ended up eating here while we were charging our car up. It's decent enough and the staff were very sweet. My only complaint was that the bread is too hard, even for a sourdough. I got the avocado toast and it was difficult to take each bite. The peanut butter cookie however was amazing!

The Tuna melt was really delicious. The crusted heese on the sourdough was a great addition. My wife loved the Italian Chop Salad, and the feedback from here was fantastic. The sourdogh was worth the drive. Added to the original as wife just made sourdough french toast with fresh blueberry compote. She used the soughrdogh bowl and made large slices. Fantastc. I can't wait to get back to San Fransisco to get more.

We stopped in for a quick bite. The food is served cafeteria style, order at the counter, then the food is brought to your table. Crab was special on the menu, so we got the crab melt. It came with a choice of salad or a bag of kettle chips. That came out quickly, however we had to ask for our loaf of bread that we ordered at the same time. Outside seating is available.

Food is good but service is lacking. Why have a self-service option that doesn't have everything on the menu? Food was ready and I could see it but the server wouldn't bring it. When I walked to ask about my food... said it wasn't ready. Went to someone else and I got my food. Order upfront, tip, and.... Subpar service.

Check your take out orders. My sandwich was missing half the ingredients (the good ones)!

The bread could’ve been warm / fresh in both our plates. I was disappointed that the bread was difficult to chew in a bread house and that the side bread for the chowder was tough and cold. However, the salad was good and the clam chowder was tasty.

The food here is awesome and it is given at a good price. The restaurant is clean, although the bathrooms could use a little work, but they aren't horrible. The service on the other hand is often an issue. I've had my order messed up here several times, and I've also had many times where the food took forever despite the restaurant not having many people there. Overall, don't eat here if you are in a rush of any kind, but if you aren't, the food is great.

Had to wipe down our own booth :/ Unfortunately not the best location Boudin - we were told that they were out of bread bowls and then one of our soups arrived in a bread bowl and after ordering were told they were out of the other soup we had ordered and paid for at the register. They ended up bringing it out later in a to-go container which was really very kind of them. However I wouldn’t go back to this location

Ok... the sourdough bread is great as usual. Unfortunately, most of the food items do NOT use their sourdough bread which is atleast irritating and is of no-fault of the staff.

I'll start off with the positive, which is their food definitely has good flavor. That being said, my Italian Classic sandwich was so tough to bite into that I felt like a savage and gave up on the last couple bites. I think it's partly due to the unnecessary thickness of the meat slices. Also, our trip was later in the day, so I think the sourdough must have started to get stale. After all that I still would have given it 3 stars. However, the online menu said the soup of the day was corn chowder, but I was disappointed when we got there because I was told that had been changed. I thought one of the main benefits for the restaurant to have an online menu was the ease and speed of updating it?

Cold coffee because they were reheating yesterday’s old coffee. They quickly brewed new when i mentioned it. Good service though and good breads

Went to the corte madera store and ordered a pizza and waited and waited and waited. I waited inside the whole time. After 45 minutes passed I asked where my pizza was. I told the cashier that I no longer wanted to wait and just wanted my money back cause it was probably cold. The lady manager stuck her finger in it and still tried to give it to me. Good thing I was looking. All excuses and no apologies. Stuck her finger in my food and expected me to take it!!!

Big disappointment! Don't order the patty melt. It's the worst that I've ever had. The meat tasted like it was a microwaved school lunch patty and didn't even fill half of the bread. I got 2 slices of small onion. Sad!

I didn't want to leave a bad review year hoping that I would get a call back to rectify, but I didn't get one. So I stopped in for lunch a couple of days ago in order to sandwich. I've heard so much about the sourdough experience with boudin and figured I would give it a try. Not only did it take quite a while to prepare this sandwich, the whole experience was ruined because of how overcooked the whole thing was. The bread was hard enough to cut diamonds! Even the birds rejected the crust. What parts of the brand I could eat still has the roof of my mouth raw 4 days later. I called through the crazy maze call tree you have to get in contact with someone and left a voicemail. No one has still responded. Taking it back was not an option because I was already on the road. I really like sourdough but it will not be from here again!

Gave this place a third chance but was severely disappointed again. I wiped down my own table which had food and spills from the last guests. Then waited 30 min for my food and asked if it was going to be ready. They forgot to put in my order and then waited another 15 min. Seems like they don’t have a good way to organize their orders and communication isn’t there. Lack of front of house staff. First two times, found hair in food and food was burnt. I love Boudins but not this location.

Don’t understand what all the craze is about. The bread is not fresh, the crust is not crusty, and the taste is of store-bought white bread in a bag — no sourdough flavor, or really any flavor at all. Furthermore, the lemon bar was not a lemon bar. It was all dough with a crust and icing on top. There was not enough filling, the filling was dry and took a backseat to the overload of soft, not flaky, flavorless dough. Majorly disappointed. Good Earth grocery store has fresher and better bread.

I love boudins, but this location is not it. 2nd time I’ve ordered for pick up and they completely butchered the order. This time, the bread was completely burnt, not “toasted.” Clearly someone ran it through their toaster twice (cheese looked fried) and instead of remaking it, they said “meh” and threw together a burnt sandwich for me. It literally tasted like charcoal - and ended up in the trash. Also, there was no sauce on it - the other sandwich in the order was no sauce, but this one was regular. Another thing, we upgraded one of the salads to a Caesar, and they gave us a teaspoon worth of dressing… Honestly, won’t go back unless under new management - their kitchen practices cannot be trusted. Tried to call to complain, no one answered, so I guess this is next best thing.

Waited 45 minutes for my to go order, finally got it and it was missing a bunch of items. My salad that I paid extra meat for had almost no meat. Really skimped on the portions. Called the store and they only wanted to refund me for the missing items and then give me a meal when I come in next time. Sorry but there won’t be a next time. I’ll go to boudins in SF before I go here again.
