Outstanding food. Sweet Roni & Meatball Problems pizza and Hot Chix mac & cheese were a huge hit. Highly recommend it.
Have had the vegan hand-held wrap with potato fries several times - oh man, what a tasty treat. It's a perfect meal. Love the vegan and gluten-free options - all of our family can eat there! Have been doing take-out, will eat in one of these days. Great menu, lots of choice, even for a vegetarian-nearly-vegan!
We stopped on the way from NYC, and gotta say the pizza was amazing. It was so flavorful and tasted fresh. Nice atmosphere inside
Our lunch today was absolutely perfect! Our party ordered 2 burgers, the Napoli pizza, kids Mac and cheese, a kids quesadilla, and butternut squash Mac and cheese, the Parmesan cauliflower bites and wings-and we were beyond blown away with how everything came out! It was so delicious and came out so hot and fresh and the portions were HUGE! Our waitress was fabulous (and unfortunately none of us remember her name) let me tell you, It’s a task to bring two young rowdy kids into a restaurant and she gave them the perfect amount of attention, she was efficient and available and very good at her job!! Not to mention the food impressed a very picky 4 year old too!! Would definitely recommend giving it a try! It will not disappoint! 5 stars on service 5 stars on menu variety 5 stars on food- quality, portion sizes, flavors! Overall one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a while- WELL DONE!!
We order pizza from BRIX about every other week. It is by far our favorite restaurant! Everything I have tried has been delicious. The BBQ chicken pizza is our favorite along with the garbage wings. I have been very impressed with how consistent the pizza has been. I would also like to express how thankful I am for how friendly and accommodating the staff is. Through the pandemic with short staff or busy times I have always received by delivery within an hour and it is always hot and delicious. THANK YOU BRIX. You will always be our Friday night takeout.
In town for a wedding and needed a good lunch option. Best wings I have ever had! Exceptional service, beautiful building, great atmosphere, and a very large selection. Bourbon maple bacon wings are AMAZING! Kayla was great and suggestions were on point so don’t be afraid to ask. Thanks Brix!
Food was very good, great selection. We ordered several dishes and ate family style because there were so many things we wanted to try. The salads were large with mixed lettuce. The pizza was very tasty baked in the brick oven (you could tell that the sauce was fresh). The staff was friendly and fast even though it was a very busy night for them. We found the owner working back with his chefs making pizzas, good morale and a good attitude. We will definitely be coming back next time we drive through Cortland.
Great food and great atmosphere. Overall great experience. Food was excellent and pizzas were delicious! Only complaint is that they seemed a little understaffed, but the food compensates for the wait, at least for me.
Was just in this past weekend for a great meal. We were a large group of 12 people and the waitress was wonderful. They appeared to possibly be a little short staffed but that didn't seem to stop them from providing a great meal and fantastic service. We will definitely be returning customers.
Very tasty food, great staff and atmosphere
Great food, okay service. We had the wings which were really good. My fiance had the calzone which was also really good. I had the chicken riggz, also very good. Waiter wasn't the best, we would understand if it was busy but the place was less than half full. Would definitely go again and try their pizza.
The service has always been good here. They have some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. Crispy but cooked perfectly and still juicy. The garlic parm is to die for. The portions are generally large for the price. The place can get busy with students, so call ahead if you plan to come on a weekend for dinner.
The food was amazing and we had a very nice waitress. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was delicious!
Best wings in the local area!!!! Though they are known for their Pizza, their wings are really what we go for! They're strombolis are on point and delicious! They are my favorite thing on the menu. We really enjoyed their pizzas this time as well, but I can't say enough good things about the wings! We get the hot wings as an appetizer, and absolutely devour them before our food even gets there. If you like hot wings and pizza, this is the place to go! They also have a beautiful set up, very welcoming, it is truly a pub feel. They carry a lot of craft beers, and plenty of alcohol as well, a great way to spend an afternoon quiet lunch, or a great place to go on a weekend evening for some live music and entertainment, great food, and great drinks.
Brix has whole vegan and gluten free menus and often have new items. The are aware of special needs diet restrictions and very helpful. We go often and have liked everything we have had. Our non vegan friends and family have enjoyed their meals as well. Good food, good drinks and good staff. Even the few times we have had to wait it has been worth it
The nachos were amazing!!! Haven't been here in years, but may make it more frequent. Burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great as well!
The food was great. I got the Napoli pizza, which is personal size, as well as some chicken wings. The pizza tasted fresh and was warm. They have some cool things in there such as an archery board to play with as you wait for your food.
Excellent experience! Will definitely go again! We arrived on graduation wknd(not knowing) it was very busy and we did not have a reservation. The owner found us a table immediately. We were waited on immediately. The food was amazing! We ordered a vegan veggie pizza, the Grilled veggie salad and fries for the wee one. A++++ great service and great food!
Our family loved this restaurant! The food was fantastic with plenty of options to please everyone, from the grown-ups to our kids (ages 6 to 15). Highly recommend!
Simply amazing. Very cool atmosphere with a lot of art and architecture to look at, bartenders were attentive and the food was delicious. Make sure you get your reservation in on a weekend especially if you're looking to seat a table, they were busy and with good reason! We almost went back for a second meal later in the day, it was that good. Edit: We liked it so much that we came back the next day (Sunday), and it was like a different restaurant. Our waitress was borderline rude to us, and took about 15 minutes to even acknowledge us, by which point the brunch menus we'd been given by the hostess were no longer relevant and she had to go ask the kitchen if they would still serve us the food we'd already decided on. The food was delicious as was to be expected but if that had been our first experience, we'd have likely never come back, so my advice is to go in on their busy nights when they have all their best staff on shift.
I had lunch there today. I figured I just eat a quick app or maybe a wrap. I decided to actually go with the chicken bacon ranch pizza. From the time the waitress took my order to the time she placed the pizza in front of me was 11 maybe 12 min tops. As for how it tasted... I went from wanting an app to eating an entire pizza. I ate the whole thing. A great great experience today.
First time visiting BRIX. Was pleased with all aspects. Very friendly waitress and great food. Will definitely return when we're in the Cortland area.
This is a long, detailed review, so hold tight. The parking in the back was convenient but weird for anyone coming for the first time. There should be a sign. It’s pretty sketchy back there. When you get in from one of the entrances a person greets you and guides you to a seating place quick and kindly. We came at a crowded time but they do a good job accommodating. The menu has many options and good choices for vegetarians too. I won’t talk about the alcoholic drinks as we did not have any. The interior decor is very detailed and they were certainly in the Halloween spirit. The lighting gives the place a quiet yet eventful vibe. It is a nice place to bring kids and is generally family friendly, which is rare for this kind of place. They did not have any coca-cola products if that’s what you care about. I had a Sierra Mist. They serve the pizza for all on a flat slab of wood and generally there is one pizza of 8 slices per group. It is good to take home. They provide utensils at the table, which is uncommon for pizza places but is definitely good. They should do that in more places. So much easier to eat. I had the buffalo chicken pizza. The taste was very complex and a good level of spice. The payment came in a brick cut almost in half. Nice touch.
Expected just pizza and pub far. Got far more. Decent beer selection, with nice local gems. Food selection was very much tailored to the college crowd. But I have a hard time finding fault in adding tater tots to pizza! Will definitely go back again to sample thier wild plates. Get outside the box, and get inside Brix! Cheers!
Setting our son back up at college and needed a quick lunch. Brix never disappoints. Ordered food easily on line, it was ready when promised and the quality was great like always.
BRIX Is an amazing place in the restaurant industry. It holds amazing people. Including the employees. No matter how busy they always seem to accommodate everyone. And with a beautiful outside seating. I just amazing to enjoy. Please take out a few minutes of everyone's busy life. To stop in and be treated with kindness. And so many options. From a ex chef. This is impressive to me. The drink posted is the best Mojito I have ever tasted. The work put into it. By far it was beautiful without taking a sip yet.
I can’t say enough good things about Brix Pizza. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff treats you like family. The pizza is always fresh, loaded with flavor, and cooked perfectly every time. You can tell they take real pride in the quality of their ingredients and the consistency of their food. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or ordering for the whole family, they never disappoint. Cortland is lucky to have a spot like this — easily one of the best places around for pizza. Highly recommend!
We waited a little long for our waitress, and she forgot a few things with our entrees, but the food was fantastic! I am glad my wife find this place, not sure we will ever be back, but if so, we will dine at Brix!
Brix not only serves a delicious pizza, but everything on the menu. is really good. We had the nachos, wings and Pizza. Plus, if you’re gluten-free, they have a ton of options, including their mac & cheese, which is really hard to find. I’ve eaten a lot of gluten-free pizza over the years and there’s definitely ranks higher on my list. Most restaurants version of gluten-free pizzas are a super thin crispy crust that doesn’t have much flavor. Brix’s dough is much thicker and fluffier, and has a great texture and taste. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great and the drinks are good.
Always a solid choice for vegan food! We find reasons to make the trip out to Cortland. Usually do a a Trader Joe's Syracuse run, half a snack at Stronghearts and end the trip with Brix!
We had a great experience! Our waiter was so patient with our kids and very friendly and flexible. About food was much better than standard pub food! We had a variety to test. We will definitely go again!
Very cute bar in cortland. Was surprised it wasn't more busy to be honest. They have tables and a wrap around bar that you can order food at. I sat at the bar and got a pizza. Very good pizza considering the area. Its brick oven which helps a ton. Idk how often he works but if you get the chance to have the guy bartender w the manbun hes one of the best bartenders ive ever interacted with. Great combination of drink knowledge, humor, personality, and flare. Def would recommend chatting it up with him if he works when you go. Only real knock on this bar is the lack of ppl there tbh. Definitely enjoyed my time none the less
Food was delicious. They had a TON of options for orders to be made vegan and/or gluten free. The Nashville Hot (chicken sandwhich) and Mutha Clucka (wrap) were EXCELLENT. As were the tater tots and green beans fries. Service was great. They were awesome at accomodating our group which included a few young kids, with whom they were very patient. There was a *bit* of funky graffiti in the bathroom, but also this is located in a college town (so that felt fair) and to be honest, worked really well in the grand scheme of the overall aesthetic?? They REALLY tastefully and tow the line *right* on the edge bricky-grunge while simultaneously managing to have a crisp, modern look and super comfortable feel. Would recommend. Would like to go back and try more of their items, sadly not from the area though. Those who are local that we were visiting seem to go here a lot.
Went to this bar while I was in town. Great variety of late night food options and Nate is one of the best bartenders I’ve seen. Very knowledgeable of cocktails and was able to freestyle a bunch of cool drinks for me depending on what kind of taste I asked for. The interior of the place is also super cool. Definitely worth checking out!
This place is super cool! I loved the ambience , the architecture and the delicious food . Their pizza is genuine and wood fire baked , the chicken wings were simply awesome, and I really appreciated that the chips were actually cut and cooked by the chef ( lots of places just open a box ) staff was very friendly . Location is convenient in Cortland downtown. Definitely recommended !
We stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Everything was amazing. In particular, I had the 'Everything Bagel Pizza'. It was so, so good. The spice on the edge of the pizza was a huge hit! Get it with the egg, for sure. The server was really nice and helpful. This is the place to stop in anytime and get great food.
Place has a great vibe, sarcasm is spread on the walls when you walk in with their t-shirts for sale! Waitresses seemed a little thin, but the ones working did a great job hustling during a mini post lunch rush. Food came out great, tasted great and portion sizes were more than generous. Homemade chips complimented the sandwiches perfectly. Other food going by looked delicious. Plenty of drink choices and I'm thinking happy hour would be a great time here. Kid friendly and even had outdoor seating.
I was greeted almost immediately by a friendly hostess. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the decor was classic and comfortable. I adored the handwritten signs. I was sold on this place when I ordered an Old Fashioned, and the bartender didn't look at me like I was speaking an old forgotten language. She asked what the shelf preference was on the liquor, and then returned promptly with a perfectly made cocktail. I ordered my food to go and didn't have to wait long. I brought the Korean brussel sprouts and maple bacon bourbon chicken wings home to share with family and it was all well received. Thank you. 🖤
This place is great. Finally a place with an exciting vegan menu. We made a reservation so there was no wait. Drinks were amazing, food was doubly amazing. I got the Buffalo 'Chicken' pizza, and it was way better than expected. Definitely coming back. The staff was efficient and friendly as well. Great vibes.
Nice place! We were asked upon entering if anyone in our party would like a vegan menu. Huge plus for me right there!! Unfortunately they were out of the Beyond chicken, which is a main ingredient in more than half of the vegan menu.I wound up getting the vegan nachos- amazing! And the portion was very large. It was however quite a long wait for our food. It wasn't overly busy in there- not sure what the problem was there. I would definitely go back :)
The Buffalo calzone was one of the best meals I have ever had. The atmosphere was great, friendly staff and the food was amazing. I tried my wife’s grilled veggie salad and it was amazing as well. Prices ranged in the $12-18 per person range. My only negative was that we got there and they told us we could eat at the bar or wait 50 minutes for a table. We ate at the bar and there were at least 7 open tables (at least 1/4) the entire time (1.25 hours) we were there. That was odd and the only justification is they were limiting folks bc the kitchen was understaffed and they didn’t want to make everyone wait forever to get served or for food.
Great food! But the staff was super slow about coming and checking on us, taking our order, and bringing out drinks. Like 20 min waiting for a beer. I love garlic parm wings but not really the ones here. BBQ and hot are good and the wings are cooked well
Not a bad place to eat If you're in downtown Cortland. They seem to run out of things, especially beers, a little often. As for the menu, the pizza is all right but the sandwiches aren't the best. I can, however, recommend the brussel sprouts. Plenty of seating, not hard to get space even if it's a crowded night.
Atmosphere of the place is nice. A mix between college kids and older people. I sat by the bar and the service was good. I ordered some pizzas and it took over 15 minutes for our group to get our pizza. The bartender was great and offered us a free round of drinks for the wait. I ordered a Napoli pizza with bacon on top. Pizza was pretty good (7/10). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
Got served by some dude named Jordan while I was there with a female named Jordan and the uncomfortableness was palpable. I thought they were going to duke it out the whole time. Once they got past their likenesses we were able to enjoy a very nice meal. There was also a bald guy there staring at me, but I won't hold that against them.
Very good dinner, pizza and chicken wrap were great. Waitress was nice and attentive. A little noisy at times but we were there at peak time.
First time here, and met with friendly staff, semi-crowded, rustic vibes. Parking was a little difficult. Mix of booths, tables, high tops and the bar. The menu had a variety with gluten free and vegetarian options. We were told the gluten free pizzas are made alongside cookware that touches flour so keep in mind if you have a severe gluten problem or Celiacs. We ordered some burgers, onion rings, a wrap, homemade chips, and a gluten free crust pizza - which were all very delicious, except the chips were a bit heavily salted - so I would opt for fries, sweet potato fries or the onion rings, and the gluten free pizza crust was a little burnt on the edges. Our food also took a substantially longer time than other tables seated after us, not sure if that was because of the gluten free preference. The restrooms have stalls, and were very clean. And overall, a very trendy place with great service and food.
Cool place to grab dinner and drinks on a Tuesday night. Food came out quick and was delicious. Service was attentive. A few tvs with sports on with seats at the bar or cozy tables for groups were available.
Very busy place on a Friday night. Had the antipasto salad and the loaded pizza. Both were excellent. The service was also great. The place is a little loud with music and crowd noise. That doesn't really bother me, but just a heads up. Had a couple of Cortland Brewing Co. drafts. They have a great painting of the Beastie Boys separating the two sides of the bar. Wanted to post a pic of it, but forgot to take the damn pic. Next time!!!
This was my first time coming here. My table ordered several different items as everything sounded so good. The maple bacon wings were delicious. The BRIX burger with French fries were by far the best thing! It was excellent and would definitely get again. The 3 Lil Pigs calzone was good as well. The sweet roni pizza was excellent. Lastly, the B.O.B. Mac and cheese was very sub par and not something we would order again. Overall, food was good. Service could have been more attentive. Would return if in the area.
Excellent food, decent service and a good vibe. Good beer selection and a very nice menu. Right in downtown Cortland near suny and Cortland beer company. A very solid spot
The food and service are great! The onion dipper burger was so good! Fried tomato’s and green beans were also amazing. The quesadillas were huge definitely shareable! The lighting is a bit hard to see and towards 630 it got a little loud to be able to chat. Definitely a pub but great experience overall!
We visited as a reserved table of ten. The waitress was really good. They had a nice beer tap selection at the bar. There was a nice menu of artisan pizzas and pub snacks. Our pizza was under cooked with raw dough in the center. We parked in the municipal lot behind the Tompkins bank.
They would easily get 5 stars if they could get our take-out orders right more than 50% of the time. I've never had a problem with my order when I eat in the restaurant, but any time we get take-out there's a 50% chance something is going to be wrong. Doesn't seem to matter if we call and place an order on the phone or if we order online. The food is really good and they have a lot of vegan options so we always end up going back (but check your vegan order, yesterday I ordered a vegan chicken pizza that was clearly not vegan. They did fix it and sent me the correct vegan one, but it took almost another hour to get it and then they didn't give me the extra sauce I asked for.), but take-out is always a gamble for us. They'd get a lot more of my business if the take-out was more reliable.
Good food, generous portions, reasonable prices, inattentive staff (even though the place was almost empty on Wednesday at 9PM). The tip suggestions on the payment machine start at 20% and there's a $20 'buy the staff a round' option on the menu - optimistic! If they hadn't ignored us, it would have been 4-5 stars...
Four of us went for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, we walked in off the street and we were seated right away. The table was not clean, there were sticky spots and crumbs all over it - despite the signage that stated tables were sanitized between patrons... Our waitress was not "informed" we had been seated, so we sat for 10-15 minutes waiting, finally ordered drinks and food... The food was good, nothing spectacular. Had to ask waitress for drink refills. Typical college town pizza/wings sports bar. Next time I am in town visiting my daughter, I will likely request somewhere else.
Tonight my family and I decided to eat at BRIX. I have been to BRIX in the past and have enjoyed the experience every time. Tonight, I was not very impressed. We did have a party of 10, and we did tip very well, but the waiter who I don't even know his name because he never introduced himself, was not very attentive to our needs or table at all. None of our meals came out at the same time, 2 of the meals came out just as the first meal was being finished. One of our group members was gluten free and her meal came out on the same tray as a calzone sitting right next to it. My cup sat empty before the food even arrived. My steak sandwich I don't think was made properly, it definitely was not white cheddar on my sandwich. The chips were stale and hard as a rock and not edible, I could not even chew them. My aunt already planned on paying the tab tonight and I am very grateful for her, but if I had paid tonight the service given tonight was not worth the amount that was paid, only the pizza was appetizing so only 4 out of 10 enjoyed their meal. Like I said in the beginning I've had amazing meals at BRIX, until tonight, do better BRIX, just because it's a large party doesn't mean service should be sub par
An amazing Vegan menu lately, I've been eating here almost weekly. However... it's not consistent. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza off the vegan menu, when it arrived it was clearly a regular vegan cheese pizza with a few "chicken" chunks sprinkled around. It tasted good, just wasn't what I ordered. I asked the waitress if it was actually the BBQ pizza because there were none of the ingredients on the pizza that were listed on the menu. She returned and told me they've changed the sauce recipe so it doesn't have much BBQ in it. I asked why there were no caramelized onions or ranch and she told me onions can't be included on the pizza because they aren't vegan if they are sauteed (???) and that ranch isn't vegan either. I pointed out that on the menu it offers vegan ranch and I assumed the onions were sauteed in oil or vegan butter. All in all I believe they gave me the wrong pizza but just kept telling me the menu has changed and never offered any resolution. And I didn't make a big deal about it and the waitress was very nice, just was disappointed and it makes me nervous on how other items will arrive if they are changing things so often.
Burger was extra rare, au jus sauce was forgotten, pizza was dry from sitting in a warming oven for 25 minutes waiting for the rare burger. Called to let them know and the phone hung up. 3 star is only because the same food was good one time, there are more restaurants in town without these problems.
Great food. Horrible service. I was excited for burger night as I was in town from Colorado visiting a friend who is a professor at SUNY Cortland. Our server didn't seem to want to be bothered to serve us. We never received water upon sitting (as other nearby tables did). We ordered burgers and asked to see the vegan menu. The server didn't come back to our table to ask if we wanted to order from that menu. Our order was slow arriving; this didn't concern us as the restaurant was relatively busy. We noticed that our food portions were considerably smaller than other tables. When our server came to clear our table, he didn't ask if we wanted dessert. He asked if we wanted the check. The server seemed in a hurry to be done with us. We were still hungry and asked for another order of fries and another beer. The server just dropped the order of fries on the table and ran away. We had to ask another server for condiments. Very disappointing experience, especially after a long trip from Colorado to New York.
A lot of hype. And food poisoning! We went expecting great things, but was sadly disappointed. Really not worth the $$$! We also waited far too long to be seated after our refusing to sit at the bar. They claimed to be full, but I counted at least 6tables that remained empty throughout our average dinner. Overly expensive drinks without imagination that were watered down. I even splurged for top shelf. It was definitely not top anything. The menu was basic and honestly nothing we couldn’t get at Applebees. In fact, I’d prefer that next time seeing they play up to the college crowd who should know better. So, there’s that too. Daft college kids!! It comes down to the fact that Main St. is dead and there really isn’t another option. Another Greek front business, I’ll be sure to miss. Although, I do appreciate their Homer shop. At least there’s no pretense to it’s ownership.
Wait was 25 minutes which was not bad for a Saturday night, so we say at the bar and got a drink. Everything was good. Looking at the menu until they sat us. In a corner table and waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come by. Never even told us her name. But took our order right away as we knew what we wanted 5 minutes ago. We waited for our food (a veggies brick oven pizza and Chicken Riggiez) for 30+ min, and not seen our waitress since. Told the front man we were leaving without our food, so we paid for our drinks and then our meal came with take out boxes. We ate our food and waited for the check. Never saw waitress till she gave us our check. Worst services ever... oops I guess no tip for you. Work for tips means work. Never did get asked if we wanted another drink.
Placed order online for pickup, pickup time was about 40 minutes later. My husband arrived and then waited for over an hour to get the burger and boneless wings we ordered. The restaurant was empty and while there was a larger pickup order ahead of us 2 hours is obnoxious and honestly I would have preferred a refund and to have gone elsewhere.
Staff was confused and not accommodating at all. Felt they didn’t want people in the place. My party of 7 walked out before being served.
Placed a pickup order only for it to not be ready 30 min after the pickup time, several other people waiting for pickups as well, get it together… Unbelievable
Gluten free pizza wasn't GF. Was sick all night. Understood it's cooked in a shared oven, that's standard across most pizza places that offer GF pizza, and that would never be enough to make me sick. But somehow this was made wrong. Stay away if you have gluten intolerance.
Been going to brix for years, but the menu has shrunk and the quality hasn’t gotten better with the increase in prices. Tonight was the final straw, ordered a caprese handheld with chicken for takeout. Was surprised it didn’t come with chips as it usually does, but then the bigger surprise happened when I got home and found no chicken. These guys simply have stopped caring due to the lack of competition, and it’s gotten to a ridiculous point. Overrated restaurant that is only successful because of its location
Don't order take out! We order a big order they added a pizza we didn't order! We order salads and pizza no plates or forks. We are at a baseball field.Come on! They said there sending plates never came .Then called us 25 minutes later. "REALLY"!pizza got cold soggy. They never wanted to own up to there TERRIBLE SERVICE.. Charge us 22 dollars .RIP OFF! OWN UP!
We( my husband and I) had sat at our table for a while before we both agreed that if someone doesn't come over to us within 10 minutes we would just walk out. It took about 7 minute before the server came over to our table. We order appetizer and pizza. Well the pizza came before the appetizer.I had to ask the server where the appetizer was, she explained the kitchen was slow.. We had ate all the pizza before the appetizer came out. The server just told us the kitchen is behind, when we asked her for the second time.I found that hard to believe cause I have been watching food come out of the kitchen. And see other table receive food in a timely manner. The pizza was good. But based on this experience we won't be returning to this place.
Tried to get in there Saturday night...had my Service dog(a 9lb Pomeranian)...was told there was a 2 hour wait...went somewhere else...walked past there 45 minutes later and the place was empty...Great way to run a business 🙃 😡
There was only 3 tables occupied, took 30 minutes to get our food, burger was literally cold and chewy, bun was hard as a rock, wrap was nasty, tasted like spoiled cheese. Waitress would rather chat with other staff than tend to tables. Never again!! Dog food would have probably been better!! Also the music was so loud, you can’t even talk with the person sitting across from you.
I would not eat here- we were excited to eat here bc it had gf options labeled on the menu. We asked and reasked if the bun on the burger was gf and was told yes. Nope- 4 hours later was puking. Do better!!
Ordered 3 salads and 3 orders of eggrolls, was supposed to pick ip in 30 minutes, showed ip 35 minutes later and the eggrolls were ready but the salads weren't. Now we were at 50 minutes and the bartender feels bad and offers us a drink while we wait. Ok, we'll each have a beer. Well, no, not beer. Ok, I'll have a tea and a Gatorade. Well, no, I can give you 1 drink to split. Now we're at 75 minutes and out salads come out. Get home and the 2 Cobb salads had no bacon or avocado on them, we got no ranch that comes with it or the extra ranch that I paid for. The eggrolls did not come with the extra blue cheese, again, that I paid for. We we had salads with no dressing and cold eggrolls. For $120. I don't wasn't going to review, but my messages were never responded to, so here we are. Brix used to be one of the better places to go in cortland, but with this current line up, I'd stay away. They obviously don't care about customers (at least not local customers). They'll get plenty of business when college comes back, that's what they really care about.
Pretty disappointed, I don’t do much business in Cortland, but we tried to keep our money local, what a mistake, arrived at 4:15, sign on the door closed till 5, came back at 5:15, our group was told it would be 20 minutes for a table in spite of the place being empty, we gave it 10 and left, someone should check the staff for a pulse. Peace out ✌🏿
do NOT order here if you have dietary restrictions. we are vegan and have ordered from here a handful of times. our most recent visit we ordered 2 large vegan pizzas and vegan cheese sticks. it’s almost an hour drive and an hour back….. so you can imagine our disappointment to see we were given the completely wrong order. NOT vegan friendly at all. i had to call an hour later, after we got all the way home…their response was “oh yeah we tried to call you……we have the pizzas here for you!” i never got a call and im not driving ANOTHER 2 hours because of their mistake?! i had to ASK to be refunded and was not offered any type of compensation for the 2 hours wasted time. needless to say we will not be ordering from here again.
