Went to Carlos twice last week and have to say this is top quality for food and service and not too expensive. The stuffed peaches starter was amazing. Main courses were equally amazing. Have been a few times over the years and the consistency of excellent food matched with excellent service along with beautiful decor and ambience makes this my favourite restaurant in Tenerife and beyond as well!. Remember to book in advance. Don't leave Tenerife without visiting this hidden gem.

We had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for our wedding anniversary meal and booked for a Wednesday evening over a month ago. We were a little early to arrive (very keen!) But this wasn't a problem and we were welcomed to our table. A few doors down there is a bar who had bingo on when we arrived, we were asked if we would like to sit inside but we chose to stay outside which I'm glad we did as our table had been beautifully laid with Rose petals for our anniversary. (Important to note the bingo finished about 5 mins later anyway) Such a nice little touch and we felt really special and welcome because of it. We chose the vegetable spring rolls and carlos mushrooms to start which we shared. Both were amazing and and a great start to our meal. My husband then chose seafood tagliatelle and I had the Portuguese style fish. Both dishes were delicious and the prawns were large and juicy. We had a banoffee pie to share for dessert which was homemade and delicious. We were given a complimentary glass of fizz which was very kind and a nice end to our meal. Staff are all very welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. Thank you for a perfect anniversary dinner we will definitely be back on our next holiday.

Fantastic. Highly recommend. Came here three years ago in the height of Covid and what a lovely find. Three years later still the same fantastic food and excellent service. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. BUT, be careful ordering a starter because they bring you an appetiser anyway :-) Check out Carlos if you’re in Adeje. You won’t be disappointed. Sat on the terrace for my husbands birthday, they had put banners up and confetti on the table, we ordered the fillets of fish with saffron sauce, to say it was delicious was an understatement, lovely presentation staff attentive and lovely, best sangria have ever had, this place was recommended to us before we left UK so glad it was, we will be back again in October. We eat at Carlos every time we visit, great food and service. I had sea bass and salmon, my wife had pork medallions in red wine, all well cooked, good bottle of Rioja too. Highly recommended, have booked a second visit!

Rare gastrinomic restaurant in a tourist place. The chef and the waitress really care the client wants. We really feel the material for food is good quality. Ok a little bit more expensive then other restaurant. But it’s really really worth it. We are happy to have found this restaurent and no need to go to tourist restaurant where price is low but food sucks :)

What a superb place! Was wandering down to the marina when we spotted this place on the corner and we are so glad we did! The staff are wonderfully friendly. The food is awesome, they buy in fresh everyday and you can really taste the difference to the flavours. It was lovely and romantic and excellent value for money. If you are in Tenerife, I suggest you try it out. The lamb chops are epic!

This little restaurant, we only found by chance, looking through Google reviews of over 4.5 (this was 4.7). Booking was recommended and they managed to accommodate us at 7:45pm. There was a good range of food available on the menu, but in addition there were 'specials' available, based on seasonal availability, so something different for returning guests. Both servers were attentive but non intrusive. We had a starter of delicious king prawns in a delicate coconut sauce, which we shared thinking ahead to desserts. Our mains were Lamb cutlets in a red wine jus and Chicken 'Serano" in a white sauce, accompanied by a lovely range of sharing vegetables. Absolutely delicious! Then we did get tempted by the desserts, a banoffee pie and apple tart were polished of after a little break from our mains. A lovely evening, with excellent food which we highly recommend others to seek out and try. (Just a couple of streets back from the Puerto Colon harbour area)

Wonderfully accommodating. During the busiest of times we rocked up and requested a table for three (no reservation). They managed to squeeze us in (it wasn’t a squeeze at all… it was extremely comfortable). Food was amazing. The chilli chicken was ace, the special duo of fish was top notch, and the Carlos mushroom starter was simply scrummy. If they have their home made banoffee pie of offer then you’d be silly not to order it! Simply scrumptious.

Lovely little restaurant right next to the Marina, we visited after a cruise, pre-booked for 12 people and it was a friendly experience. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The food and the service was amazing. While I like my good red wines, my wife prefers whites. I was so happy to see that they had half bottles of good Spanish wines! We were here just the once but we’ve already decided that we will come again tomorrow - our last day before we head back to the UK!

It's tucked away so you could easily miss it but we had to book 4/5 days in advance so its clearly very popular. The food was special and worth every penny. Really fresh and beautifully cooked. There are so many restaurants in the area that offer the same repetitive dishes but this place definitely offers something a bit more special. We would 100% recommend a visit.

This was a lovely restaurant with attentive staff and good Spanish food. It's a bit tucked away next to the street, so might be easy to miss. It doesn't have the sea view as some other restaurants do, but it totally makes this up by the quality of the food. The service was excellent as well. We were able to get a variety of wine by the glass.

Visited here last night based on rating and reviews. Only 1 diner when we arrived just after 6pm but all tables were reserved. Were told we could eat but had to be gone by 8.30pm as table reserved for then. That was fine. Staff friendly and service good. Spring roll starters were nicely presented but seemed run of the mill and something that had been bought in frozen and not home made. Dipping sauce portion insufficient for 6 spring rolls. We both had fish - 1 x salmon in champagne sauce was nice, 1 x Portuguese fish which was a bit disappointing - some bland wet white fish topped with prawns and mussels and a sauce which was ok but not especially tasty. Veg portions were quite small - boiled carrots and broccoli and some potato wedges. It was ok overall but not somewhere we'd go back to.

The food is great and the sauces are to die for, but when we visited christmas music was rather loud and noisy and so were the other guests. It seems to be popular among british people. The staff is nice but keeps speaking english even if you can speak spanish. The size of the meals are small-medium.

Been to this restaurant many times and this time was a bit disappointed with food and some of the service. I had an Argentinian Rib Eye Steak with potatoes and veg. Not informed that potatoes would be full of garlic which I do not like and am slightly intolerant too and the steak was slightly overcooked. This restaurant is not the cheapest so for food quality and service I was disappointed.

Very average food, even worse service and really no worth either money or the long wait. Food is really mediocre. How on earth it has these good reviews, God knows. From our arrival to being served our mains (our starter was just a garlib bread) it took over an hour. We were told we would be served after another table, because they had booked, even though they arrived quite a bit after us. Prices don't include tax! So the final bill was even more and certainly not worth it. Two nice ladies (the stars are just for them) but we felt really let down by the whole experience. Not recommended at all. Addition after your rude response: To call my review fake is an easy way out for the restaurant and show that on top of all the problems with their food, they are also liars and falsely accuse people. How on earth could a fake review have so many details!? The restaurant may have added the taxes to the price since then and hopefully have become a better nicer to the clients but if we are ever again in the neighbourhood we won't set foot there and advise all our friends never to visit this place.

No te hablan en español ni se molestan en que los entiendas, solo hablando en Inglés y dando por hecho que dominas ese idioma. Poor customer service towards Spanish customers! No Spanish spoken among staff and this is outrageous. We are in SPAIN, and this is not an English speaking country. When you go to their countries they will not bother to try and understand you. AVOID!

Carlos was recommended to us by a friend and we have eaten there in the past with no complaint. However this evening was a different story. My wife ordered a fillet steak cooked medium to well done. She got part way through eating the meal but couldn't eat the majority of the steak as it was completely burnt on the outside. On pointing this out to the waitress who I ascertained is also the owner the comment back was "that is to be expected as it's cooked on a charcoal grill". We were not charged for the steak but the attitude of the owner to the complaint leaves a lot to be desired. To the lady owner concerned an apology would have been nice, rather than the attitude that the customer should have known it would be burnt due to it being cooked on a charcoal grill. If you are unable to cook a steak to customer requirements without completely burning the outside then you should point this out at the time of ordering. Your attitude to the complaint leaves an awful lot to be desired and from our experience tonight you do not deserve the custom that you get.

Where do I start, we were told that the restaurant was pre booked for 2 days solid. Great we thought, this must mean the food is great and the experience perfect. We arrive and are quickly seated by a wonderful waitress. we were given a menu and specials board and loved the selection, I ordered a soup to start and the lasagne for my main (off the specials board). Now being off the specials board I assumed the lasagne would be great. however when it arrived I was saddened to find that the bottom layer of mince was burned (cremated). I'm not normally one to complain and so I politely told the older waitress so that she could inform the chef. this should eliminate any possibility of this happening for another customer. this was met with defensive comments from the grumpy older waitress, who we later learned to be the owner. she then showed the plate to the chef who we could see from our seating place. he shrugged his shoulders as if to say "I don't give a s**t" we later learned that the grumpy owner and the lazy chef are married (the perfect grumpy couple) To conclude all I wanted was an apology. the rude service and poor food left me feeling definitely underwhelmed especially as this restaurant had been highly recommended.

We waited over an hour for our food and one of the waitresses that greeted us was not that nice, like we were an inconvenience. The rest of the staff were lovely and the actual food was tasty. Based on the reply from the restaurant- I recommend to just avoid! I never lie in my reviews, no reason to.
