Que Vida Tacos Costa Mesa

Really enjoyed this spot! Every time I'm in SoCal, I'm hunting for excellent tacos and I'll for sure be back to Que Vida! Had the al pastor and Baja fish taco. Tacos come à la carte so you can mix and match. The roasted pepper on the side was a great spicy touch. Really enjoyed the pineapple agua fresca too. My friend got the bacon breakfast burrito and devoured it. Service was excellent, bathroom was clean, and I will be back!

The best Cantina in Costa Mesa. The staff was very friendly and attentive from start to finish. The food was beautiful and delicious. The menu has everything you could want and more. Portions were generous and vibes were perfect. Music and location also make this the perfect spot.

Such a great lunch spot! We just had lunch at Que Vida and it was such a pleasant experience. I ordered two asada tacos, and they were incredible. The tortillas were handmade, with cheese melted on before the asada, toppings, and salsa were added. My coworker ordered the two-item combo with an asada taco and chicken enchiladas. You get free chips and salsa with your meal, and not just one salsa but three delicious ones. All three were amazing. The food was incredible, and the vibes were even better. The two ladies who helped us order were so sweet and friendly. We ended up chatting about matcha, and they gave us a few menu recommendations to try. I wish I had gotten their names because they made our experience so enjoyable. The restaurant also has free Wi-Fi, which was helpful since we had to get some work done while we ate.

LOVEEDDD the place. The food was good, the atmosphere was calming, the service was good. My husband, daughter, and I had a great time. We definitely would recommend 👌 serving sizes were great. Loved the fish tacos. 😋 that's what I mainly went for.

What an amazing little spot! Some of the best tacos I’ve had. The atmosphere was also amazing ( Christian was super friendly and helpful!). I can’t say enough great things about Que Vida!

We had a party of 25 people (half were kids age 1-15) and the staff was phenomenal. We did not call ahead but were greeted with a smile while our army walked in. We loved the food and service. Our experience there was awesome and we will 100% be back.

The food is absolutely delicious! I came in at happy hour and had the Birria Fries. It was the perfect balance of rich and fresh. The fries were perfectly crispy, the steak was tender, topped with a guacamole and pico de gallo to liven the dish! Great value for under $8! Their Que Tropical Margarita was a perfect addition, with fresh blended pineapple puree. It was smooth and refreshing on a summer day! Johnny, who started in the early days, was very helpful and shared his favorite options on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant, whether you are a local or just visiting for the summer!

This place is the place to go when you have Taco’s on your mind. We ordered Fish, Pork and Shrimp Taco’s. We also had a Que Vida Fish bowl on the menu. Taste, simply awesome. We had also ordered Margaritas and we ended up ordering to go, it was so so good. The icing on the cake was Eddie. His friendliness, way of interaction was just and simply great. Eddie makes this place super special.

These tacos are sooooo good! I got numbers 1,2 and 3 and don't regret it. I WILL be back. Edit: The al Pastor are my favorite. SO DELICIOUS. But my son likes the Birria the best. You can't go wrong... honestly.

Must try!! Can’t say enough good things about the food and I barely had time to take photos since everything looked so good. My burrito was the Cali and the taco was #9 El Tapatio with Barria. Their breakfast menu looks great so I’ll be back soon.

Valarie made the experience a 10! I have only been here twice and she consistently met us with a smile and positive attitude. I have had enchiladas and tacos. They are consistently awesome. The only issue I have had is that the rice and beans have came out consistently cold. Both times they have quickly fixed the issue. This last time, Valerie went above and beyond to make it right. This kind of customer service and great food will make use continue to patronize this restaurant! Impressive, beyond today's standards!

The rice is fantastic, and i love the refried black beans. The portions were extremely generous, so it was a good value also. I would absolutely eat here again when I'm back in town.

The food is consistently good. My favorite item is the Cali Asada burrito. The accompanying sauces are very good too. Sometimes I have seen that they forget to include the tartar sauce that go with fish / shrimp tacos. Other than that the delivery has always been fast.

The cashier also walked out people’s orders to their table. Great effort to make everyone happy. The atmosphere is okay. It’s very small inside with only six tables inside and two or three outside. Overall, a decent place to grab a bite to eat.

Food looked good and very promising. We had a variety of tacos but some of them lacked flavor. Only good ones were the fish, birria and cochinita pibil tacos. Overall, tacos were ok, nothing that will change your life.

A few weeks ago we got an el pastor burrito and there was almost no pineapple or meat…. Mostly just rice and beans. As I said before, we love Que Vida, just not this location. We’ll continue going to the location in Huntington Beach, just not here.

Received a salad instead of a quesadilla. Says quesadilla on the recipe and the other item is correct. Some quality checks would be nice. It is not the delivery drivers fault based on the receipt on the stapled bag.
