Very beautiful and historical caffè in the heart of Courmayeur. The only negative aspect are the prices which are very expensive, considering the average Italian price for coffee and croissant (probably to be expected in Courmayeur).

Odd tasting cocktails. They do there own interpretation on classic cocktails and I'm not sure I like them. Otherwise it's a nice place to visit.

Shrinkflation in action - bombardino from December 2023 and December 2024. Change of ownership since last year and some obvious changes that are not an improvement. Too bad, since it was a nice place for aprés ski at a reasonable price but not anymore.

Non tornerò mai più dopo l'incidente razzista. I had a horrible experience at this bar. I have been a regular customer since Dec 2023 and have had coffee, aperitivo and lunch here regularly as I have a second home in the area.. The younger member of the waiting staff are kind and sweet. Unfortunately on my last visit, I asked for a coffee (in Italian) from the old man who always makes the coffee, he was incredibly aggressive in the way he spoke to me on a very busy day. When I asked for my cappuccino with soya milk, on this occasion he replied in a very rude tone "Do you want rice with that?" I do speak and understand Italian but by no means a native speaker, I was confused by that. When the customers that he had been speaking and joking with all laughed I realised this was a comment on the fact that I am Chinese. I will not be coming here again... why would I pay money to a racist establishment? This is a shame as I had such a lovely experience with the younger waiter who really understand how to serve customers.
