The Farmhouse Restaurant

My better half treated me to a birthday meal here and what a memorable meal it was. Situated, what I believed was on the outskirts of Coventry (I’m not from the area, drove an hour to get there) is a modern dining venue which brings a wonderful marriage between traditional British cuisine and the subcontinental spice blend. I strongly recommend booking as I have only ever seen a handful of other places so busy. Needless to say we booked. The black and white gold decor with modern and traditional sculptures set the tone for the experience. We were warmly greeted outside the venue and guided to our table. The only thing I would say is that the tables a quiet close together, so a little less private and may feel awkward. But that’s it, the service, the food and and of course the taste was totally exceptional. We ordered the Shrimp and Lamb Cutlets to start with. Oh, and a couple of Mocktails as well. We settled for the ultimate roast for two and wow what a dish it was, cooked to perfection. Has to be eaten slowly to savour the taste. We also shared a cheesecake to finish off. The service team were amazing, very attentive and friendly. It was an all round five star experience for me. Highly recommend was worth travelling to. Free parking available but need to get there early.

Great venue for special occasions. We came here for my birthday, great ambience. Drinks were lovely and some come with a display. The food was tasty too, a fusion of Asian flavours. The crab taste was delicious!

As always, had an amazing night out. We went there to celebrate Valentine's Day! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Heron, was an absolute star, kept out little one entertained and was so kind. We order Dynamite Shrimp, Mix Grill, chicken Mac& cheese. All of them were 9/10 if not 10/10. We highly recommend.

The Farmhouse has been a birthday tradition for our family for the last 7-8 years. Yesterday we had our sons 18th here for iftari and were blown away by the hospitality and food. All of the staff gave us a VIP service and treated everyone like royalty (especially the manager who help my elderly mother to the table and the service from the waitress). Iftari fruit platters were presented in a special tray with dates unlike anywhere in this country (kunafa dates were amazing). Food arrived bang on time and their iftar specials were out of this world. We have the malai boti sheesh kebab and fish pakoras. The who experience keeps getting better every time we attend. And the prayer area was ever so spacious and a pleasure to pray in making the whole experience one to remember. Keep up the good work guys and can’t wait to return !!

Nice venue for special occasions, we can where for our nieces 18th birthday. The service we received was great, Zayn, very polite young man, didn't rush us and was attentive. Keep up the good work! We tried a mix of things on the menu, everything was indulgent and tasty. We'll be back again!

Returned to The Farmhouse, Coventry, and once again, it was an exceptional evening. The food was impeccably fresh and beautifully presented, and the service was truly outstanding. Despite changes over the past year, the experience retained its charm and quality, making for a memorable dinner with my husband. A particularly thoughtful touch: as it began to rain on our way out, the staff kindly provided umbrellas to escort us to the car, exemplifying the exceptional attention to detail and hospitality. Both culinary excellence and service were beyond expectations a thoroughly refined and enjoyable evening.

One of the best places I have visited in UK. Would say a little expensive with regards to weekly outings but worth every penny. Hands down, best with regards to food and atmosphere. Their staff make you feel at home. They came in to help with my crying baby, took pictures, most welcoming staff I have ever seen and made me feel at home. I feel people judge you normally wherever you go in UK, I couldn't feel any such vibe with them. Tried punjab lamb, Badboy steak and the drinks. Thank you for making my baby's second the best evening.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt special — the atmosphere, the food, and most importantly, the service. A huge thank you to Fizzy (Faisel), who looked after me and my wife throughout the evening. The service was genuinely impressive from start to finish. Fizzy went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checking in at just the right times and making us feel completely looked after without ever being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was fulfilled seamlessly thanks to him. It’s rare to come across someone so warm, attentive, and professional all at once. Fizzy is truly a credit to the restaurant — what a lovely person to have working for you. We left feeling happy, well looked after, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

I had always seen this place pop up on my social media . Got my friends and managed to do the 2.5 drive from east London. When we arrived it looked so beautiful . Staff were welcoming and we sat upstairs . Costas was the waiter serving and he made great recommendations about food. He was very attentive and we had a great conversation. Kam and Ibby ( managers) very friendly and helpful and kam made a great suggestion about the fruit platter which was delicious. We say very comfortably in the middle with nice comfortable seating . My friend ordered Shisha and Zain made it whilst we had the pleasure of Samir doing the coal change and ensuring she enjoyed the Shisha. Saad was helpful with clearing the table and Daniel as well attentive. It’s a great team that work together and the food is amazing. Also got to see the magician who had great tricks up his sleeve. The Dj also played good tunes . Had the pleasure of meeting vic (owner) very friendly and a good business man. Looking forward to his future ventures. Defo worth the drive and will be back

I had an exceptional experience at this farm house in Coventry. It completely changed my expectations from the moment I walked in. The lobby, the rooftop garden, and the outdoor courtyard are all designed to perfection — stylish, spotless, and truly impressive. The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and refreshing; I honestly haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else in the UK. The food quality was excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely warm, which made the experience even better. A truly outstanding place that delivers far beyond what you expect. Highly recommended.

What an amazing experience at The Farmhouse Coventry and Maison De Fumeé. We had travelled 2.5 hours to come eat here and we were not disappointed. Our experience here was outstanding. We couldn’t fault anything from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. Everything was on point. All staff were very attentive, friendly and made our visit smooth without any delays. We had our food at The Farmhouse Coventry and our Shisha at Maison De Fumeé. Although food can be had at Maison De Fumeé which is upstairs. The food was lovely, the plate sizes made it value for money and presentation was clean. We had a pleasant surprise when there was a lady playing the piano which made the ambience even more incredible. Can’t wait to come back. I should’ve taken down the names but Thank you all for an amazing evening.

First time visitors after a friend's recommendation. Great food Great atmosphere. Our server Fizz was brilliant. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much to ask. He even added a special touch to our desert to congratulate us on our new born. Will be returning.

Amazing vivid place! Had a family dinner for the first time, found this on google maps and read reviews, visiting my Y1 student son in Warwick. Food is all halal, was spicy and delicious with generous portions and celebrational ambiance with modern indian music. Guests were both families even with grandparents and parties of glamourously dressed young people . Talking from the point of a non indian, not used to lots of spices , this was the first time I had a good sleep without indigestion so the chefs must be excellent! Restaurant was vibrant , luxury deco and full, huge parking space. Staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming, polite and cheerful. They reminded me of the upbeat modern restaurants in my homecountry Greece and the SE Mediteranean.We were pleasantly surprised with the card tricks game.Especially wish to mention Hamza our young waiter who was very communicative, polite and smiling. Thanks for this great experience!!!

The Farmhouse in Coventry is an excellent spot with plenty to appreciate. The parking facilities are great, making the visit stress-free from the start. Inside, the decor is very aesthetically pleasing, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere.The staff were highly attentive throughout the evening, with special mention to Ismail, who was outstanding. He struck the perfect balance of being caring without being overbearing, and his food recommendations were spot-on, enhancing the whole dining experience.The only minor downside was that the music felt a little too loud, though given it was a busy Friday evening, it was completely understandable. Overall, it was a fantastic visit with top service, great ambience, and well thought-out details.

Had an amazing experience at The Farmhouse in Coventry! I ordered the Bang Bang Chicken, Dynamite Shrimp, and the Farmhouse Mixed Grill. all absolutely packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. To top it off, the Purple Rain was so good I had to get a second one! The staff were brilliant, really welcoming, attentive, and always at your service. Special shoutout to M. Usama who went above and beyond – he definitely deserves a pat on the back for his excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What an amazing experience at The Farmhouse Coventry in Birmingham The destination that should have taken us 2hours to get there but took longer than expected with traffic and road works Once we arrived the place was very busy and we had very little time as we had to collect someone from the airport but they managed to get us a table straight away no waiting around The staff were very attentive, friendly and amazing when we told the waiter we had so little time he made sure we got our food really quick and smooth without any delays the service was amazing I didn’t manage to get his name but would like to say thank you Overall our experience here was outstanding. We couldn’t fault anything from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. Everything was on point. The food was lovely, the plate sizes made it value for money and presentation was amazing and to be honest we couldn’t finish it and had to get it packed up Will definitely recommend to my friends and family

A special thank you to Mohamed Osama, who served us — he was incredibly friendly, kind, and took the time to help us choose the best dish, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be coming back. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but with this level of service and such delicious food, it is absolutely worth it. Also, the fact that they don’t serve alcoholic drinks is a big plus for us. Highly recommended!

Been to The Farmhouse twice now.. great food and ambience. The service here is second to none, fantastic service from Kam, Sufyaan & Razan. The staff here ensure that everyone has the best experience possible. Very warm and welcoming. The French Toast is probably the best dessert I’ve ever tasted. Will be back soon. Wow 🤩 is really all it needs to sum up how amazing this place is. The wide variety of choice on the menu, suits every taste-all of us were contemplating between 2 or 3 dishes, but the ones we did choose definitely hit the spot. I can see why so many people were leaving with leftovers as the portions are HUGE! Even though on the expensive side it’s worth every single penny for the quality and quantity of food! We were celebrating my Birthday and such a fuss was made of me-they sang Happy Birthday and brought me a plate with a sparkler and Happy Birthday written on it when they brought over my dessert. Although we live an hour away, we are already looking forward to returning in the near future. The decor is very high end, and to say how much footfall the place gets there is no damage, broken bits, wonky tables or dust to be seen-these guys take so much pride in the place. Every single member of the team we encountered was polite and personal-love how they all communicate through ear pieces!

We took my 9 year old niece for her birthday dinner - a party of 6 and had a wonderful time. We all starters, mains and dessert. The food, service and ambience was spectacular. Chris and Marium were our servers and were wonderful. 10/10.

Restaurant is truly beautiful and gives off a premium, luxury vibe. Loved that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, and both areas are wonderfully set up. I recently visited The Farmhouse Restaurant in Coventry with my family, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a gentleman named Zafran, whose smile and kind words made us feel at home. Shortly after, we met Shehzad, another staff member who was equally polite, respectful, and professional. Both of them treated us with such warmth and hospitality that it felt like we were meeting old friends rather than restaurant staff. The food quality was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and served in a very clean environment. The restaurant ambiance, seating, and cleanliness were excellent, and it was clear why the place was so busy — people know it’s worth it! Special thanks also to the young lady who took our order; she was very friendly and attentive. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to serve the food a bit hotter when customers request it — that’s the only improvement I can think of. Overall, it was a memorable experience — delicious food, amazing service, and a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone to visit The Farmhouse at least once. Epic Customer service, they've sure nailed the customer service! Very lovely atmosphere! Very friendly staff (M.Usama was helpful). The food was quick to be served and was really nice. Kids ended up eating chicken nuggets and chips which is saddening as they have a really great menu! My only negative feedback would be that they don't display the prices on their menu. They usually have some sort of entertainment such as a magician which the kids would've loved, maybe he had a day off :D.

The atmosphere was extremely warm and the hospitality was great too. Level of service was excellent. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the person who served us. But he was very good.

We visited TF last Saturday for the roast dinner. We were really impressed with the decor, the aesthetics and the service received. We didnt book in advance but we were received so politely by FIZZ. He made recommendations which were on point especially the roast dinner for 2 and the lemonade cocktail. This was huge and refreshing as well as the cherry cola. The food was tasty and the portions was substantial. All of it was cooked to perfection and again Fizz tempted us with dessert which was Lemon cheesecake. This too was beautiful. . We cant wait to visit again and a big thank you for the courteous and knowledgeable FiZZ..as well as everyone. The food was excellent but the service made it memorable.

I came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. It was a good experience with the show of dry ice. Food looks good. Portions were very big so we ordered a few dishes and shared it between us. The coconut pina colada mocktail was so good! The drinks were very expensive though. Desserts were great. Loved the Dubai style dessert! Would be nice to come again.

Food although prices at the high end, portion sizes are good. The atmosphere and decor is so nice, I'd definitely go back and try other foods. I ordered the karai chicken, spice level was a bit low for me bit still nice. Their milk cake was lovely, not overly sweet, my daughter ordered the mixed grill which is served with different Sauces. Again taste was ok but portion was good. Her desser was the honey butter toast which was on the sweet side bit nice. Can't wait to go back just to experience the lovely surroundings again👌

Visited The Farmhouse again, this time with my family. We were seated in the tented section of the restaurant, which we all found extremely cold initially. After speaking with one of the managers, the temperature was adjusted and soon became comfortable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and has a very pleasant atmosphere. I ordered the mixed grill, which was a very generous portion, I couldn’t finish it! Taste-wise, I’ve had better steaks. The steak lacked flavour, and the sauce poured on top didn’t really complement the meat. I also feel the drinks are far too expensive, £5 for a glass of Coke is difficult to justify. That said, the attention to detail from both the waitress and waiter was excellent. They were very polite, attentive, and professional. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

The restaurant is tastefully designed, and the outdoor areas are particularly beautiful, perfect for a short stroll after a meal. It really adds to the charm and makes the whole experience more memorable. The only reasons I gave four stars instead of five were two small points. First, the background music was a little louder than I would have preferred. In a setting like this, I think a quieter or no-music atmosphere would suit better, allowing guests to enjoy more relaxed, intimate conversations. Second, our starters took about 40 minutes to arrive, possibly because the restaurant was quite full, or maybe because we ordered the mixed grill, which might take longer to prepare. That said, these are minor observations in what was otherwise an excellent dining experience. I’d happily recommend The Farmhouse to anyone looking for great food, top-notch service, and a beautiful setting.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The steak we ordered was assembled in a very odd way – the bread at the bottom, fries piled on top of it, and then just a few pieces of steak placed on the fries, all covered with a large amount of sauce. The sauces completely overpowered the flavour, and the whole dish felt messy rather than thoughtfully prepared. Additionally, the orange juice was advertised as fresh, but it turned out to be regular carton juice. To be fair, when we asked, the staff were honest and admitted it wasn’t freshly squeezed. Overall, it feels like a very overhyped place. Based on the reviews and the buzz around it, we expected much more, but the experience was quite average.

I’m a regular coming to farmhouse for many years. Seen the price go up quite a lot which is fine, but flavour and quality should meet this increase. My lamb chops were quite tough to chew which as a lamb chop liver is a huge let down. Flavour was a sticky sweet marinade, not something I’d go for. The chefs sauce it was accompanied with wasn’t complimentary with the lamb chop, really weird pairing. Naan bread was flavourless, no garlic or herb flavour or salt. £45 for a meal I wasn’t enjoying is sad, so sad. My husband enjoyed hai steak nonetheless and dessert was really lovely. The price we paid wasn’t worth the meal at all. This will be my last visit, think it’s time to move on

We hit up this restaurant for a birthday! The service was excellent, great vibe, and the waitresses were super nice and helpful! They even brought out the cake and everything, which was beautiful! So warm and lovely! Now, for the main event - the food. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. We started with dynamite prawns and cod pakora. The dynamite prawns were amazing, but the cod pakora wasn't anything special. You couldn't really taste the cod, just the pakora. For the main course, we had mixed grill, parmesan chicken, and the Bombay badboy. The Bombay badboy is a good steak, but the sauce was a bit too spicy. It should be more subtle with a steak, something more steak-oriented. The chicken parmesan was just okay. It was chicken, but it didn't have that distinct parmesan flavor. I was pretty disappointed with the parmesan chicken... you guys need to get your parmesan cheese from Italy or Europe! The mixed grill was good, but not mind-blowing. Overall, the food was amazing, but not amazing, if you know what I mean! I won't be coming back!
