Ridiculous Modification

Okay, so I finally checked out Alexander’s Steakhouse in Cupertino – it’s at 19379 Stevens Creek Boulevard. Wow, it was busy! We got lucky and found parking, thankfully. The lunch set was a good deal, especially the crab popcorn, it was huge! I got the petite sirloin, but it was honestly a little too much for me. The burgers everyone raves about were fantastic though – seriously next level mac and cheese. Our server, Tiffany, was amazing, super attentive and made the whole experience feel really special. Definitely a solid spot, I'd go back.

Impeccable service. Absolutely lovely. Food was great too. Our server was beyond amazing in accommodating us. Highly recommend this place for special occasions. We ordered the following: -Hamachi shots -Bone marrow -Grilled octopus -Tuna tartar -NY Strip -Souffle with apple compote The hamachi shots and souffle were god tier and were definitely the highlight of our dinner. NY strip, tuna tartar, and grilled octopus were great as well. The bone marrow was alright as it didnt have enough marrow. Overall, def worth a visit, especially for special occasions.

Let me start off by saying our dining experience/lunch on Sunday, November 15th, 2025, at the Cupertino Alexander's was amazing and nothing but perfect! This was the first time we've had lunch at Alexander's Steakhouse. I've been going to Alexander's since 2008. The last time I ate here at the Cupertino location was back in 2018. Alexander's Steakhouse continues to get better and better everytime I dine here! Our waitress Tiffany was the best! Tiffany has a great personality, and she's very nice, easy to talk to, and down to earth. She was very attentive to details, hands-on, and spot on during our whole dining experience from start to finish. We couldn't have asked or had better service. Now on to the food. We ordered the ASH burger, Kobe burger, Filet Mignon, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and the Unagi fried rice. The burgers were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! The kobe Burger was a 12 out of a 10! The steak was cooked perfectly as well, and it was so tender and flavorful. All of the side dishes were amazing, and the Mac and cheese is next level good. It's definitely the best Mac and cheese I've ever eaten. We were given 4 complimentary desserts for my wife's birthday, which we enjoyed so much. All of the desserts were delicious. At the current moment I only eat out once per month and usually try a new restaurant but I have to admit, this was hands down the best food we've eaten all year! Alexander's Steakhouse is still the best Steakhouse I've ever eaten at and the best restaurant I've dined at in general!

Had an outstanding lunch at Alexander’s Steakhouse in Cupertino! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Our server Tiffany provided warm, attentive service that made the experience even more enjoyable. Mr. Garcia helped us select a wonderful bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our meal, and Chef Oleg Sheyner truly showcased his culinary talent with every bite. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making it a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Highly recommend!

I’ve always loved the food and service at Alexander’s but what made this visit stand out was the experience of reserving a private room. I highly recommend doing that if you have a larger group. It made the whole dinner feel extra special. Our server was incredible. She never wavered, even with a big party and lots of moving parts. She was calm, kind, and totally on top of everything. You could tell she genuinely cared. The whole night went so smoothly because of her. Just a great experience all around.

I definitely recommend this restaurant. The Wagyu A5 was next-level—cooked perfectly, super tender, and just melted in my mouth with crazy rich flavor. The environment was classy and elegant, real nice vibes that made the whole meal feel special. Our waiter, cool dude, was on it, super friendly, and kept everything smooth.

We went for a celebratory dinner. I didn’t have high expectations since the restaurant’s design didn’t seem particularly appealing in the photos. But when we arrived, everything looked absolutely wonderful in person. The lighting was perfectly dimmed, and the table settings were immaculate. The staff was highly professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. And of course, the food—this was the best dry-aged steak I’ve ever had. Every other dish we tried was just as impressive. I can’t wait to come back!

Top notch service and great quality! Went there for a private event and we're in a back room. Right from the ambience to prompt service and attention to detail, the place knocked if out of the park. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Great selection of steak and non steak items and customized to vegetarian options. Pricey, but worth the experience. The cotton candy at the end was a nice touch.

I went with my mom for dinner since it’s been a while since I’ve seen her and she wanted to treat me to a nice place. Totally forgot it was valentines— but we were lucky that a reservation was canceled and got a seat. 10/10 experience— The complimentary bread was fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious as was all the food and we got extras (the salmon taretare + a couple sweets) as well. We also got a dessert on the house (lucky!!) that just tied everything together to make an amazing night (my mom enjoyed this place so much she forced me to write a detailed review lol). Grilled Octopus : This was really great. The meat was very delicate and soft, which I did not expect from octopus I had before. So it really stood apart. It and had almost a smoked flavor to it, and was overall a delight. “Mero” Sea Bass: The sea bass was one of the best dish I had so far. It was buttery soft and seasoned perfectly. The fregola ready paired well with the fish and the prawns that came with it were very fresh and succulent. I’d recommend this the most, especially since it seems to be seasonal. Filet 8 oz: Since this is a steakhouse, there’s no way to go wrong with this dish. It’s a classic, solid filet mignon— very tender and the demi pairs nice with it. Soufflé: this was one of my favorite desserts. I believe this was pear flavored..? In any case— the flavor really shone through, that I remember. The cream and brown butter ice-cream was also really nice, very light and almost refreshing, could have eaten the whole thing myself. Toast with apples + caramel: No idea the name for this, but it was really good. Got it on the house, so it was a nice bonus. The toast was very crispy and caramelized, and the apples + ice-cream on top cut some of the heaviness from this dessert. The caramel sauce also paired very well with this— it was quite salty which I liked, and not too sweet at all!

This coffee shop was spacious, fast, and very clean, making it a comfortable place to relax or grab a quick drink. The coffee was delicious, especially since they grind the beans right in front of you, which really brings out the fresh flavors. There’s also a wide variety of toppings and add-ons, so you can customize your drink exactly how you like it. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys high-quality coffee in a bright and welcoming environment.

Nice coffee shop that does pour over coffee for all of their coffees. I couldn’t see the brewer they use but it was a flat bottom paper filter into a metal canister looking thing. They grind the beans fresh. The choice of beans is fairly limited to various house blends with more options towards the medium to dark roast. They have a dark roast decaf blend as well. Their lightest roast is the “New Manhattan” which was brewed to a coffee with a sweeter, medium body profile. I added a little water which helped the red fruit flavors become more discernible. The cafe space itself is nice—high ceilings, lots of windows for light, seating space both inside and outside. The barista was also friendly and helpful.

The standout here is the exceptional service—polished, attentive, and exactly what you’d expect from an upscale dining experience. The food, however, was a bit more hit-or-miss for me. I tend to judge steakhouses by their filet mignon, which is my go-to cut, and this one didn’t quite land. It was heavily dressed with an asparagus base and potatoes on top, which distracted from the steak itself. I prefer my filet to speak for itself, and the extra toppings weren’t to my taste. That said, the Japanese A5 Wagyu was a completely different story. I splurged on a few ounces, and it was an incredibly rich, melt-in-your-mouth experience. If your budget allows for wagyu as a main course, this restaurant is absolutely worth it for that alone.

Delicious food, excellent service and great ambience. I got the 3 course tasting menu with the Caesar Salad, Filet Mignon with side of mashed potatoes and the banana bomb for dessert. The salad was light and refreshing with different textures. The Filet Mignon was juicy. The banana bomb was so-so. They also gave a bread basket in the beginning which was delicious. The last thing they served was cotton candy. I wasn't q big fan of this.

The service was probably the best of stars. Servers were super attentive although for an Asian visitor it was a little much for me. We opted for the lunch set. Salmon tartare was good and the crab popcorn was sizeable. Opted for a petite sirloin and it was too much for me still 😆the only downside was the creamy spinach - I thought it was was too creamy and drowned the spinach.

Can’t beat the coffee and I’m a long long time fan of Philz. However, the service and the overall atmosphere is abysmal. Understaffed on the service. Can’t even clean up outside from the day before. Ugh!! The owners seem to be milking the brand for all they can get. 🙄

The wait was a little long on a Sunday morning. I got an iced rose latte, light sweetness and light creaminess. I thought those were perfect, but was thrown off a little by the taste — I think it was spiced? Didn’t really taste a particular rose flavor. It was an okay drink overall but it was totally not what I was expecting. I’d probably want to come back and try some other items to see what is my speed and what is not.

It takes 10-15 minutes to get coffee here. Taking laid-back too seriously . My 3 experiences are pretty consistent with this time range( all in the afternoon/late afternoon) . I’ve been a loyal Philz customer for many years. This spot at Main St. has been our go to place after a morning jog during weekends. We love their coffee, love the vivid and friendly ambiance. But the service has been going down-spiral. And this morning, I ordered a coffee at Philz, but it never seemed to be ready. I went to check twice and didn’t see my order. The two baristas were chatting the whole time and making drinks very slowly. The third time I asked another staff member, one of the girls pointed to a cup on the side and said, “That’s yours.” I asked why the cup didn’t have a label, since they normally do, and she said she had already called my name. Honestly, in a busy store split into two sides, just shouting a name once and calling it done doesn’t really work. Plus, since we had already come by twice looking for our drinks, she could have simply asked for our names to confirm. From start to finish, there was no sense that they cared to do their job a little better. I am so disappointed and sad to see this at Philz.

I was absolutely shocked at the poor service received this evening. I used to be a server for like 15yrs and this entire wait staff needs to be retrained. They were short, rude, un accommodating, came off miserable and like speaking to us was bothering him. 3 different waiters kept interrupting our conversations constantly without being able to read cues of when to check in and when to circle back later. I’m not exactly sure why so many people love this coffee and think it is so delicious. The beans themselves are pretty poor quality and the only way the drinks will likely taste great is adding a ton of heavy cream and sugar, which will make pretty much any coffee taste decent. I even bought whole beans to see if I could brew a black cup of coffee better myself, and it came out tasting the same as I also used a pour over method. I would not recommend buying this coffee and it is only drinkable if you add a lot of cream and sugar, which is not how I drink my coffee.

They don't wear hairnets, hats, or gloves. Never seen anybody wash their hands. DISGUSTING. Overpriced coffee, quality was mid, also didn't even taste good for the price. Do NOT go here, there are better options around here, I promise. Overall, very disappointed with Cupertino and Philz coffee, do better.

Great coffee doesn’t excuse poor customer service. The coffee itself might be good, but the experience was frustrating. Their menu is unnecessarily complicated, and when I asked for simple help understanding what to order, the staff member launched into long, pretentious explanations about tasting notes and wine like descriptions instead of just giving a straightforward recommendation. As a tourist, I was hoping for friendly guidance, not a lecture that made things more confusing. Good service means adapting to the customer , not expecting them to decode an overcomplicated menu using imagination.

After that, the staff’s attitude became very rude. This is not a $20 or $30 place where you casually eat meat — why should I pay $100 for food that is overly salty and impossible to eat? Three times I had to return the meat because I couldn’t eat it, yet I still paid for the food I did not eat. If someone wants to eat salt, this is the place to pay a high price just to eat salt.
